Rage: User feels a burning rage that fuels their own force reserves (regardless of alignment, ten seconds with forty-five second cool down).
Afflicted: User becomes afflicted with pain, including mild to moderate headaches to start, however this increases the more the crystal is used.
Self-Loathing: One begins to loathe themselves, and this self-loathing continues the longer this crystal is used. User starts to question their judgment, as doubt begins to cloud their mind the longer the crystal is in place.
Corrupted: Lightside users who come into contact with this crystal (or a lightsaber bearing this crystal) will feel a burning rage that begins to corrupt them. This can be negated by sealing the crystal/lightsaber in lightsaber resistant materials or getting distance from it. Darkside users will turn to self-destruction as their self-loathing turns into a burning rage that begins to consume them the longer the crystal is used.
Batteries: When used in a lightsaber it will begin to consume large amounts of energy, can be negated by using lightsaber components to help assist with power consumption.
Bonded: Forms a bond once equipped to the user when used in a lightsaber. Once bonded it cannot be used by anyone else and will eventually self-destruct when parted from the bonded user.
It is said that they embody Darth Vader’s pain, self-loathing and his anger all three were the causes of his own demise. The crystals are hard to find and are often mistaken for lava crystals upon first glance. Until you realize that your own self-loathing has begun to increase the longer you’re around it. Your doubt and rage also grow, you might be more irritable liable to snap at anything.
One almost isn’t quite sure if the crystal is worth it, you’d either have to be extremely devoted to the late Dark Lord. Or, wish to strive for the Path of Rage, Hatred or Pain as a way to achieve power. Vader’s Demise is a crystal that can and will destroy its users of this Mishel had no doubt when she found it just a few yards from where [member="Hazel Zanteres"] had marked her fall. Acquiring the crystal was not easy, and forced the young teenager to call for aid. For not even, her adoptive mother could assist her in retrieving the crystal, and so she called upon her brother, [member="Darth Interitus"] who was able to collect the crystal on her behalf. With it - she swore to craft for him a lightsaber fitting of a Knight.
