OOC // This comes after a discussion here, that was followed up here. Bring as many light-sided alts as you please - "Jedi", "Rogue Jedi", and so on - and participate with a civil and constructive mindset. It is open to all that see themselves as light-leaning, and are concerned with the freedom of the galaxy from the increasing stranglehold of the Sith, among other issues of Jedi concern. So, that said, any Sith will have a rather difficult time getting in. You are not welcome here.IC // He stood outside, the fire-haired ancient, looking up to the full height of the Massassi Temple that would host the coming storm of light and righteousness as discussed with the Father of the Clan that was their hosts, the same location in which Luke Skywalker and the many of the Rebel Alliance celebrated its first huge blow to the Empire; he had been there, afar, communing with the Force in remembrance of his Jedi brothers and sisters, upon whose bodies the nefarious Empire had been built, a prayer for their souls and the ones that had joined them, that day.
Almost eight-hundred-and-fifty years later, the galaxy suffered no less serious of a threat - it was fact that the monstrosity of the One Sith was a force to behold, and the years had proven their might with the near-eradication of the Galactic Republic, a once dominant government in the galaxy. The Light faltered, the flame flickered. It was time for the Jedi to come together again, as they had years before.
The message sent was as follows:
To all the denizens of the Light, in all corners of this great and wide galaxy; o Jedi, heed this call!
Over fifteen years have passed since the Convocation at Sigma Station, and while we have achieved what we set out to do at that time, the Dark casts a longer, denser shadow than before. To ensure our presence throughout the galaxy is no longer enough. In my near-nine-hundred years, I have seen much, and what pains my soul most of all is the realization that these 'One Sith' can come together be as one, and we cannot. This is the most severe of our weaknesses, and has lead to too many of our brothers and sisters being swayed or slain. Too many innocents under their heel. When will enough be enough? Enough is now, I say! Enough was years ago.
I am aware some stigma still exists, some deep wounds between the varied orders of Jedi, but now more than ever, there is a need for us to come together, to work together, to push back the Dark before it truly is too late. It is to this end that I invite you all to a convocation at the Yavin Jedi Praxeum on the fourth moon of Yavin, in Mandalorian space, as guests of Clan Rekali, under whom this sector space is well-protected. As guests, you are all to act accordingly.
Aside from the central conference, there will be room for socialisation, scholarship, training, and healthy competition. The convocation has two main purposes.
The first is this - to form, if not strengthen ties between our different orders. We have been separate, and thus weakened, for far too long. Easier prey for that which hunts us.
The second purpose is as follows - to discuss what can be done so that we might work together, improve our inter-faction communications, and thus better address and cover the galactic issues that need our attention.
There is one last thing I must say, before I sign this off - No one Jedi is right in his interpretation of what a Jedi is meant to be, and conversely, no one Jedi is wrong. It takes many, a diverse many, to make the definition of 'Jedi', and they are all right. It is with this mindset that I wish you all to come.
As your facilitator, your neutral mediator, I have attached a loose schedule, and I look forward to seeing you all here at the main temple and surrounding grounds.
Your Friendly J.A.N. Representative,
Ilias Nytrau
Jedi Master

MANDALORIAN SPACE
PLEASE TAG YOUR POST WITH YOUR LOCATION
Conference Room: Moderated by Ilias Nytrau, the Conference Room seeks to iron out issues and move towards working together. All voices are equal. Questions from the gallery will be taken once the purposes of the Convocation have been addressed.
Banquet Hall:
Hosted within the main hall of the the primary temple. Socialize, eat, drink, and be merry.
Training Areas:
The Praxeum's training rooms and outdoor training areas are open for use, rendering available more than enough room for training in countless Force abilities. Jedi trainers and willing students from many backgrounds and traditions can meet and train here, compare techniques, and hone skills. As with the previous convocation, Muntuur stones are available, in addition to other training aids and tools, traditional and otherwise (Dantooine spheres, for example).
Sparring Area:
A large, clear area outdoors hosts the Sparring Area for this convocation, giving plenty of space to engage in healthy, friendly competition, and meet blademasters of many forms. Jedi are training here, comparing techniques, and honing skills.
Witchtown:
Not sure where to go? Witchtown is nearby, boasting several drinking establishments, both relatively safe and entirely disreputable. Drink, trade tales or information, compare scars, and so on. Alternatively, check out the wares offered by the Dathomiri, and wander the town.
Other Locations:
Medical station, hangar bays, and any other amenities that the linked location sub has to offer.

THE CONFERENCE ROOM
Leadership of the various orders would find assorted briefing materials, plenty of caf, tea, and water, and a nice, big, obvious round table with excellent chairs - one that would look strangely familiar to any attendees that might have been at the last convocation. An odd favour asked of the Galactic Alliance, from the ginger who sat at the table, seemingly meditating into the mug of tea in his hands. One document touted the loose agenda, whose contents may have been mentioned in the invitation, in part.1) To discuss how we might form, if not strengthen ties between our different orders.
2) To discuss what can be done so that we might work together, improve our inter-faction communications, and thus better address and cover the galactic issues that need our attention.
3) To address the matter of the One Sith and other darkside-infested blights on galactic peace, and what is being done, or could be done, to deal with them.
