- Stealthy, Heavily Armed Frigate: The Stealth variant of the Stormhawk is the pinnacle of the design's engineering, barring any extensively customly tweaked variant for individual use. It has improved turbolasers and ion cannons compared to the other variants, an excellent stealth system, and a full starfighter hangar bay, fixing and exceeding the original design.
- Extensive Automation: A concession to the reduced state of Imperial forces at the time of its design and construction, the Stormhawk is heavily automated, reducing its crew requirements substantially and allowing for more ground troops and equipment to be stored in its place.
- Extremely Rare: Compared to the base Storm Hawk and its upgraded variants, the ISFS variant is exceptionally rare and seen only in a few dedicated stealth-oriented combat formations across the galaxy.
- Quite Expensive: Due to the R&D costs required to fit in the improved heavy guns and the HPI Cloaking Device and make them work under its power generators, this variant of the Storm Hawk costs considerably more than its counterparts, and is expensive to acquire even for factions with deep pockets.
The culmination of the Storm Hawk Frigate, design, it fixes all of the original flaws of that design and adds stealth along with increased firepower both in the form of better weapons and improved hangar capacity. Of course, this comes with the caveat that it is extremely rare to see these outside of a few dedicated stealth squadrons throughout the galaxy due to the expense required to cover the extensive R&D costs to produce it. In terms of ground support, it can still carry up to a full regiment of Imperial ground forces and their assorted equipment.
