SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Unique Payload: The Revelio Missile has a unique payload comprised of easily detectable metal fragmentation projectiles, electronic trackers, and a specially formulated "dust" compound which is extremely sticky, initially warm, radioactive, and bright-colored, designed to bring attention to itself through a variety of visual spectrums.
STRENGTHS
  • Welcome to the Spotlight: The Revelio Missile has one purpose-to make whatever it hits light up on the sensor and electronic profiles of whatever is unfortunate enough to be splashed by its contents. The fragmentation projectiles are designed not to kill or injure but rather stick in the sides of whatever it hits, making it easier to detect through their signature at range. Electronic trackers are also dispersed and capable of sticking on a target along with a specially formulated dust cloud that will cling to whatever it touches and light it up on the thermal, radioactive, and optical spectrums of light until it is somehow removed. Even if the stealth field ends up encompassing it, one can detect where the ship is by the absence of dust where it should be in the dust cloud.
WEAKNESSES
  • No Real Damage Done: It is not actually meant to do any sort of damage to an opposing vessel, rather it is simply there to light them up. The fragmentation shells, dust, and trackers are only dangerous to those who might unfortunately be on a spacewalk at the time the missile explodes around them, otherwise any standard starship armor should be enough to deflect any actual significant damage to a vessel.
DESCRIPTION

Developed in the aftermath of a skirmish with Final Dawn stealth vessels led by Marlon Sularen, the Revelio anti-stealth missile was designed to counteract any future such traps by the High Regent or any other foe that the Empire of the Lost might face. It is custom designed to counteract either directly or indirectly a wide variety of stealth systems by enabling a cunning captain to blanket the area he suspects his opponent is lurking and firing from with it, creating a veritable cloud of dust, electronic trackers, and easily detectable metal fragments that will stick to an opponent's stealth vessels, or, if such vessels are protected by a stealth field that absorbs everything, reveal them by producing a very obvious "hole" in such a cloud. It has been made available for sale by Bastion Holdings as well as part of an effort to discourage the profileration of large-scale stealth technology in the galaxy, which the Empire has deemed as a threat to its interests.

I'm pulling this sub back because its production rating was flagged up to me.

Particularly rare or powerful special features will necessitate using a lower level of production, such as stealth or anti stealth technologies (for example: cloaking technology, personal cloaking devices, gemcutters, crystal grav traps, moon dust), or rare canon technologies (for example: Hyperwave Inertial Momentum Sustainers, etc) and their equivalents will only be permitted at Semi-Unique production.

Ahhhh I must have messed up on the calculator somehow, I changed it to Battlefield so it should be zero now.
