STRENGTHS
- Compact: As an energy shield, the only physical aspect to carry around is the shield generator itself. The size of the shield can be easily adjusted from a small buckler, all the way up to a large shield that encompasses an individual’s torso.
- Placement: The generator can be mounted in a vambrace, or in a grip for hand-held usage. It can also be mounted on a surface for improvised cover.
- Weapons: The user can pass a weapon through the shield to remain in cover.

DESCRIPTION
A more practical and affordable alternative to a physical shield, the personal deflector shield is a versatile system designed to be integrated into the vambrace of a user, or equipped into a physical grip. Another useful feature is the ability for the size to be adjusted at the tap of a button. It can be scaled down for a compact buckler, or scaled up to defend a large portion of the user from harm.
An accidental side effect of the shield comes from its ray shielding. If used to bash an opponent, the shield discharges a shock that is capable of forcing a person back, inflicting pain, and even knocking them out, depending on the exposure.
