Biography
Her, otherwise known by the alias " Ella Nova " , is a Force-sensitive Human female and also a fallen Jedi who turned to the Dark Side of the Force at some point before the ninth-century.
She was the Sith apprentice of Darth Ayra: a notorious Sith Lord from the mid-eighth century who was a former member of the Sith Order during an era when it was ruled by an unknown, mysterious Dark Lord of the Sith that practiced the Sith philosophy of the Rule of One. In the early-to-mid eighth century, Ayra was at least partially responsible for the demise of the Old Republic after she waged several military campaigns on behalf of the One Sith in the Outer Rim Territories who would later go onto conquering the-then Galactic Republic some fifty-years before the rise and fall of the Empire of the Lost.
By 851 ABY it is said that Ayra broke away from the Sith Order so that she could recreate the Order of the Sith Lords after becoming disillusioned with her former comrades when the One Sith were dissolved and broken following the assassination of the unknown, mysterious Dark Lord of the Sith (who was responsible for the destruction of the Old Republic) thereby ending his Rule of One. It has since become a myth (propagated by those who followed Ayra in the Rule of Two) that following a pilgrimage for a cure in the Auril system, Ayra succumbed to injuries sustained by an Orbalisk infection, and whose body was later cremated on Kalist VI during a funeral attended by Ayra's apprentice, a former Jedi Knight, and the last surviving Humanoid of an ancient race of aliens who were once believed to have been traversing the galaxy during the Four-Hundred Year Darkness before their entire species went into extinction.
At some point in time after 869 ABY, Ayra's Sith Holocron was said to have been discovered by a Jedi Knight in the late-eighth century during the years preceding the Second Great Hyperspace War that was waged by the Brotherhood of Maw after their declaration of war on the entire galaxy. After opening the holocron, this Jedi (a Human female from an unknown planet) turned to the Dark Side of the Force and begun following the tenants of a different Sith philosophy called the Rule of Two, which was first conceived by an ancient Dark Lord of the Sith called Darth Bane, and was later taught to them by Ayra's gatekeeper.
Thirty-one years later an enigmatic and mysterious Sith Lord (known only by the pseudonym Her) rose to power during the Sartinaynian Crisis: a false-wing attack which occurred on Bastion. This crisis was later acclaimed to be the prime driving force behind the economic collapse of the Empire of the Lost in 902 ABY. In the three years after the crisis, the Imperial Confederation were formed as a replacement superpower for the Empire of the Lost, where Her worked for the Liraeth Deschart (and the Marlon Sularen-Karl Von Strauss regime) as a member of the COMECI. After Her was caught as the orchestrator behind the Vexis Station Incident (which resulted in a full-scale war between The Diarchy and Mandalorian Empire on Yaga Minor) she fled from the Imperial Confederation and entered into the High Republic to reintertwine herself in the Mid Rim systems as an Imperial expat on Enarc.
A political mastermind, criminal collaborator, and eco terrorist, Her was a founder of a clandestine group in the Imperial Confederation called Project Tion. This was a conspiracy that sought to turn the Imperial Confederation (and the other galactic superpowers found along the Outer Rim Territories) into declaring war against the Sith Order vassal state located in the Thandon Star Cluster.
As a result of the conspiracy, Her was indirectly responsible for the defeat and thereby dissolution of the Tingel Arm Coalition rebellion against Velran Kilran; the subsequent economic collapse of his Empire of the Lost; direct military incursions on Brosi via two invasions wrought by the Imperial Confederation, the latter of which resulted in the planet being destroyed and later terraformed by the Sith Order; the end of Liraeth Deschart's reign as the reigning Empress of the Imperial Confederation on New Alderaan; and an incident on Vexis Station, which would lead into a full-scale war between The Diarchy and Mandalorian Empire on Yaga Minor, and later see Her caught for instigating the war resulting in them fleeing into the High Republic.
In 905 ABY, after fleeing the Imperial Confederation, Her would make an arrangement during the last days of Aurelian Veruna's interim Chancellorship of the High Republic. The deal saw to Veruna utilizing his influence to fast-track Her's application for naturalized citizenship on Enarc in exchange for assistance against the rising threats of the Sith Order and Sith Covenant who Veruna felt were threatening Naboo.
As a follower of the Rule of Two, Her seeks to reform the Sith Order into the image first prescribed by Darth Bane, and the subsequent eradication of the Jedi. After murdering her Sith Master (who was a former renegade Sith Lord formerly known as Darth Ayra) this disguised Dark Lord of the Sith seeks to evade capture, prosecution, or assassination by her former co-conspirators from the Imperial Confederation as well as the many enemies that she has created in the Sith Order, the Mandalorian Empire and the High Republic while perusing their aims that are continually steeped in conspiracy, murder and dark plot . . .
Strengths and Weaknesses
Strengths:
- Jedi Knight: Although it has been many years since Her was a Jedi she is, nevertheless, a trained Jedi Knight, with full retainment of the abilities and martial arts that were taught to her before she left the Jedi Order.
- Force Persuasion: Her is extremely powerful when it comes to this particular Force Power. (link)
- Force Barrier: Her is also proficient at conjuring this Force Power. (link)
- Ataru: As a Jedi, Her excelled in the Forth Form for Lightsaber combat, which is known to the Jedi as Ataru, or to the Sith, as the Fast Style.
- Fugitive: After being caught as the mastermind behind a conspiracy in the Outer Rim Territories, Her is a wanted fugitive and criminal. No real Mandalorian, Imperial or Diarch would ever call this woman a friend with trust a commodity that does not exist between them and her.
- No Sith Magic: Unlike Sith Lords, with most having the talent and ability to conjure Sith sorcery, Her possesses no such talent or potential to learn the arcane powers of the Dark Side of the Force.
- The Conflict: The concept of right and wrong is often blurred for Her producing an internal conflict where one side yearns to be good, and the other wants to continue on the dark path.
