Faction Geonosian Revolution! Clone Wars 2 on the Horizon?! (Open to THR Jedi and Military)

v7ofr3ky2qf71.jpg

Geonosis is in chaos! Archduke Grozzek has rallied the Geonosians to rebel against The High Republic. Grozzek had spent the past weeks galvanizing the people saying that the High Republic have their own interests and not the Geonosians in mind. Reactivating thousand-year-old Droid factories hidden beneath the ground, Grozzek constructed his own Droid Army to bolster the Geonosian Warriors who are prepared to fight and die for freedom. High Republic intelligence however, found that Grozzek's revolution may be backed by Sith infiltrators. A Jedi strike team led by Jedi Master: Jax Thio have been deployed to capture the Archduke before he can escape Geonosis. Meanwhile, the Geonisan Warriors and the Droid Army are also preparing to leave the planet, but they are quickly intercepted by the High Republic military. A bloody battle is about to ensue with many comparing this to the First Battle of Geonosis in the Clone Wars.

Objective 1: The Archduke of Hazzard

databank_pogglethelesser_01_169_7095ae3c.jpeg

According to High Republic intelligence, the Archduke is holed in the Spire ready to leave the planet. To avoid the battle raging on the surface, the Jedi Strike Team must navigate through Geonisans hives to reach the Geonosian. Take heed, as the underground is home to many Geonosian warriors armed with spears, rocket launchers and sorts of nefarious weaponry. It must be stressed that the Archduke must be taken alive so proceed with caution.

Objective 2: Clankers Galore!

6zk5hs1yz6xa1.jpg

Attention soldiers! The Droid Army activated their main power generators and are making a defensive stand as Core Ships start to lift off to spread chaos amongst the THR space. Engage the Droids and do what you can to prevent those Core Ships from lifting off. Use everything at your disposal from Tanks, Starfighters anything you can get your hands on. You also might want to do some infiltration if conventional weapons won't work against the Core ships.

Objective 3: HOLD THE LINE!

space-battle-over-geonosis-v0-l5-8-nxEzxWmelVEsdVv1uQsjExN9STpo2Bszs07LZc.jpg

Though the High Republic formed a blockade around the planet, that doesn’t mean the Geonsians are going to go down quietly. Fueled with passion, fury, and sheer determination, the Geonisans look to break through the blockade allowing the Archduke and any escaping Core Ship to leave. Hold the line and do not allow the Geonisians an inch.

The war had already begun.

Geonosis burned.

The horizon was a jagged line of explosions, artillery flashes bursting against the red sky like lightning trapped in a sandstorm. Columns of Republic walkers pushed across the dunes while waves of ancient Separatist droids poured from caverns and shattered hives.

Someone had woken an army that should have stayed buried.

Connel Vanagor watched it all through the narrow visor of his Shadow mask.

The Vigilant Reaper roared just meters above the sand, its engines tearing a wake through the dust clouds. Blasterfire stitched the air around them as Geonosian cannons woke up across the battlefield. Streaks of blue, green and red peppered with explosive clouds of powder littered the skies.

Inside the hold, the REEK rattled against its clamps.

Jeremiel sat behind the controls like a man about to drive straight through the gates of hell.
[Three seconds], Michael Angellus’ voice crackled over the squad channel from the cockpit. Even through the comms, Connel could hear the grin.

Three? Gabriel muttered.

Two now, Michael added cheerfully.

Azrael snorted. That kid is enjoying this way too much.

Raphael slammed the charging handle on Bertha, the massive rotary cannon whining to life with a predator’s purr. Good, Raphael said. I was worried this was gonna be boring.

Sariel crouched on the REEK’s forward rail, rifle already braced against his shoulder. Across the battlefield, commander droids began issuing orders. Sariel fired. One shot. A droid’s head exploded in a shower of sparks. Correction, Sariel said calmly.

Was boring.
The REEK clamps released. GO! Jeremiel barked.

The vehicle dropped out of the Reaper like a meteor. For a heartbeat the world was nothing but gravity and red sky. Then the REEK hit the ground.

Hard.

Suspension screamed. Sand exploded in a massive plume as Jeremiel gunned the engines and the armored beast tore forward across the battlefield like an enraged animal. Behind them the Vigilant Reaper climbed, engines screaming skyward. Weapons firing, from larger rotary cannons to even larger mass drivers all hammering the landscape and turning targets into craters. The REEK surged through the chaos, crushing debris and dodging enemy fire as its guns joined the cacophony. Sariel picked off targets with lethal precision, his focus unwavering. Around them, the battlefield transformed into a storm of fire, smoke, and shattered metal. Raphael was shooting anything “Clanker”. They were drawing a lot of attention away from the climbing gunship.

And from its open bay—
Five black shapes fell into the chaos. The Reaper Drop. Connel hit the ground in a roll, boots digging into the red sand as blasterfire streaked overhead. Azrael landed beside him like a falling hammer. Gabriel came down in a controlled slide, already raising his rifle. Bren Alazar—Michael to the squad—hit the ground last, detonator already in hand.

Across the battlefield the REEK tore through a formation of B1 droids.

Raphael stood in the rear hatch like a war god. Bertha spun. The minigun unleashed a hurricane. Droids disintegrated in a storm of molten metal. HAHAHAHA! Raphael bellowed.

Contact left, Sariel called from the vehicle. Two more precise shots. Two more commanders dropped. The droid formations faltered instantly.

Raguel rotated the turret cannon. BOOM. A cluster of battle droids vanished in a rolling explosion. The REEK plowed through the smoke without slowing. Inside the vehicle Jeremiel grinned.

Alright, he said calmly. Let’s go cause some problems. He flicked the controls. Autodrive engaged.
Jeremiel stood up. Behind them the REEK continued racing forward—now unmanned—straight toward a massive artillery emplacement.

Back on the battlefield floor, Connel ignited DAY. The Golden blade snapped to life with a violent hiss.
Around them, droids began redirecting. Too late. Omega Squad moved like a storm. Azrael’s detonator arced through the air. Gabriel cut through a droid line with brutal precision. Alazar slid across the sand and dropped two super battle droids before they could even raise their arms.

Connel stepped forward. Blaster bolts came from every direction. His saber became a golden whirlwind. Metal bodies fell in pieces. Through the Force he could feel the battlefield shifting. Republic troops pushing. Jedi lightsabers igniting in the distance.

And somewhere beyond it all—
The Archduke.

Connel’s jaw tightened beneath the mask.

You started this.

The ground shook.

Behind the droid artillery battery, the unmanned REEK slammed into the emplacement at full speed. Raguel’s cannon fired one last time. The entire artillery nest erupted into a massive fireball. Across the battlefield Republic forces cheered as the barrage suddenly stopped.

Sariel’s voice came over the comm. [Artillery neutralized.]

Raphael laughed. Told you this would be fun.] Connel deactivated his saber for a moment, watching the smoke rise into the Geonosian sky.

Around them the war continued.

But Omega Squad had already changed the battlefield.

Michael (Alazar, not Angellus) keyed the squad channel. [Alright, Reapers], Connel said calmly. His voice was ice. [Now we find whoever is responsible for this.]

A pause, and a look at Connel, he knew.

Then Michael Angellus chimed in from the cockpit. [Jophiel standing by], he said. [Try not to break the planet before I land again.]

Raphael chuckled. [No promises, kid.]

And somewhere across the burning sands of Geonosis…

A target waited, aware, unaware, doesn’t matter.

The fighting raged on in the distance thankfully away from the Jedi strike team. The plan was working and the bulk of the Geonosian Warriors and the droid army were engaging High Republic forces on the field. The bad news was that the Archduke was surrounded by some of Geonosis best warriors many of them born and bred for combat since they were hatchlings. But even the best Geonosian Warrior was nothing compared to a Jedi Knight. Jax Thio held his binoculars spying B1 Battle Droids guarding one of the many Geonosian hives which led to the Spire.

"About 30 of them," Jax said to his daughter: Jayna. "Looks like were in the right area."

When Jax told Jayna that her mother: Jairdain Ismet-Thio Jairdain Ismet-Thio was kidnapped, she immediately jumped into action determined to rescue her Mom from the clutches of Darth Carnifex Darth Carnifex . Jax had to calm her down, informing that making rash decisions could end with her or her Mom seriously harmed. "Jayna shouldn't be making the mistakes I made." Jax thought. "I can't fail her the way I failed Jair."

It seemed that everyone in Jax's family wanted to rush in and rescue Jair. From Jayna to Dreidi Xeraic Dreidi Xeraic , the moment Jax decided to remain calm and not act on impulse, everyone was going full steam ahead in an attempt to rescue Jair. "This is all my fault," Jax muttered. "But I can't run into the same wall and expect different results."

He needed to train his daughter. She needed to learn the ways of the Force. Jax taught her Shii-Cho and she constructed her Lightsabers on Naboo. Jayna was progressing faster than Jax expected to the point where he actually trusted her on this mission. She needed to stay close though. "I see 30 tin cans," Jax said to Jayna. "We can't sneak around them like the last bunch so we'll have to cut through them."

Jax turned to Jayna placing his hand on her shoulder. "Stay close to me and remember what I taught you: Let the Force guide your actions. Trust in it."

He bumped his forehead against hers. "We will get your Mom back," Jax said. "Right now let's get into these tunnels."

Dagmar inspected his Sharpshooter Rifle one last time before giving it a slap as the Transport Shuttle pilot announced that their making their final landing on Geonosis. "Standby," the pilot said. "The landing is going to be hot! Feet dry in ten seconds!"

"About damn time," Dagmar muttered putting on his helmet as the inside of the shuttle shuddered violently. Geonosis was home to the major battle between the Republic and the Separtists almost a millennia ago. Now that it feels like the High Republic is going to fight the same battle. History always loves to repeat itself does it?

The mission was simple, provide support for advancing troops and clear out enemy officers. Typical. But Dagmar was part of special forces so what was typical to him was an impossible task for the average soldier. "Five seconds! Standby for greenlight!"

Dagmar and soldiers got ready as the ramp opened. Dagmar was the first to come out his Sniper Rifle flashing. "Time to go to work," he muttered.

Objective: 1 – The Archduke Hazzard
Location: The Spire, Geonosis

The hum came first.

Not loud—never loud—but present. Alive.

Jayna Ismet-Thio walked in step beside her father, Jax Thio, boots crunching softly against the ochre dust of Geonosis. The air was dry, thick with the memory of war, and it clung to her skin like something unwelcome. The horizon stretched in jagged silhouettes of spires and hives, a graveyard of old battles stirring toward something new.

Her hand hovered near her hip.

Not out of fear.

Out of instinct.

Twin hilts rested there—new, unfamiliar in weight, yet already an extension of her will. Vael'kora and Sen'kara. The divided crystal, reborn as two voices at her side. This was the first time she carried them into something real. Not training. Not meditation.

A mission. Her first. And the timing couldn't have been worse. Her jaw tightened, and for a moment her breath hitched—not from the heat, but from the thought that refused to stay buried.

Her mother.

Gone.

Taken.

No answers. No clarity. Just absence.

The Force around her churned when she thought about it—like a storm she couldn't quite contain. It pressed at the edges of her control, bleeding into her senses, sharpening everything in ways that felt… dangerous. The hum of the kyber at her side seemed to respond, faint but unmistakable, as if the fractured crystal remembered what it meant to be torn apart.

Jayna exhaled slowly, forcing the tension down, folding it inward.

Not here. Not now.

Her gaze flicked sideways, briefly toward her father. She said nothing—she didn't need to. There was a steadiness in his presence she leaned on more than she would ever admit aloud. Still, this wasn't something he could carry for her.

This was hers.

All of it.

"I'm ready," she said quietly, though the words felt heavier than they should have.

Ahead, the operation loomed—whispers of unrest, of a Geonosian resurgence, of something crawling back to life beneath the sands. The past refused to stay buried here. It never did.

Fitting.

Jayna rolled her shoulders slightly, loosening tension, letting her awareness expand. Their battlefield wasn't active yet—but it would be. Soon. When it was, she wouldn't hesitate.

Two blades. One will. And beneath it all, a rising fire she hadn't yet learned how to extinguish. Her thumb brushed lightly against the activation switch of Vael'kora.

Let them come.

Objective 1
Jayna Ismet-Thio Jayna Ismet-Thio Jax Thio Jax Thio

The battlefield above them roared like a distant storm, the heavy tremor of artillery and the low, rolling thunder of collapsing stone carrying through the hive walls in dull, rhythmic pulses that sifted fine streams of dust from the ceiling. Even this far from the surface engagement, the violence unfolding overhead felt omnipresent, yet Shade remained still and composed as her crimson eyes fixed on the entrance to the hive below.

She counted thirty droids, her gaze tracking their movement patterns with clinical precision even without the aid of optics. She noted the staggered rotations, the predictable delay between scanning arcs, and the slight, telltale drift in spacing along the left flank that marked the formation as a reactive defense rather than a coordinated one. It was not a perfect line, but it was formidable enough to slow any standard approach to a crawl if not handled with immediate, decisive force.

Jax's assessment came quickly, his voice carrying the calm authority of a commander who had already seen the same flaws she had. Shade did not comment when he spoke to Jayna, noting the weight behind his words and the restraint he offered her, but she remained focused on the objective. She acknowledged his lead with a quiet confirmation, reinforcing his read while adding her own tactical layer to the plan.

"Thirty droids in a standard perimeter pattern," she said softly, her voice barely carrying over the distant rumble. "Their formation is reactive, and they do not adjust well once the initial rhythm is disrupted. The left flank lags behind the rest of the line, and that is where the break point will occur."

Her hand moved to her belt, drawing her blaster in one smooth, intentional motion as she looked to Jax for the final silent affirmation.

"I will draw their fire and break their collective attention," she proposed, her gaze shifting briefly toward Jayna with a look that was measured rather than instructive. "Stay with him and do not chase the line when it begins to collapse."

Then she moved, her transition from stillness to high-velocity motion near-instantaneous. The first shot cracked through the humid air of the hive and struck the lead droid on the left flank dead center, causing the chassis to collapse into the unit behind it and forcing a physical disruption in the spacing she had already identified.

She did not stop to observe the damage, her second and third shots following in rapid succession to force the mechanical sentries into a frantic reorientation. One droid turned too early while another reacted too late, their firing arcs crossing and flashing wildly as the formation began to break down under the weight of its own internal delay. Shade shifted her position immediately, angling away from the entry point to pull their targeting sensors with her, forcing them to chase a rhythm they were already failing to match.

"Now," she commanded, the word quiet but absolute.

Behind her, the left flank unraveled into total confusion as the droids struggled to reestablish their priorities, and for a brief, critical window of time, the path into the tunnels was open.

Casaana hated war, always had. But after a disastrous counter invasion over Tython where the death and killing had really gotten to her, she'd sworn off killing except as a last possible resort to save others. Not that Jedi should kill, to end a life was to snuff a light, no matter how poorly lived the life was. But in today's galaxy that was a hard standard to live up to, especially as the armies of Darkness spread their reach across the stars. That was part of the reason she'd reluctantly agreed to participate in this mission, to stop the seed from sprouting here in the Republic's own yard and hopefully prevent a few deaths along the way.

Now she skulked along with the others, sneaking upon the hive as they tried to infiltrate the Archduke's spire. She was happy to be with a Jedi master on this mission, it felt like having a nice security blanket keeping them safe, and she was also looking forward to getting to know Jayna and maybe making another friend after the mission. Though both seemed troubled by something shared between them, something she'd learned not to pry into. The other woman, the Chiss Intelligence agent was another story, she was all cool business, and Casaana didn't think she wanted to make friends with a young girl.

"I've got droid poppers," She offered into the conversation, unlimbering her blaster rifle with its underslung launcher by way of demonstration and getting it ready to fire. She waited for the ambush, and once Shade began drawing the droid's attention, Cassana launched an electro-pulse grenade right into the thickest mass of the B1's with a muffled 'thwump' to send electricity arcing among those caught in the grenade's blast radius. She then changed tactics, firing high-powered bolts into the stragglers at the edge of the droid formation from cover, her weapon's stock rocking back into her armored shoulder with each shot as she kept the droids from spreading out or flanking her companions.

Vulpesen had always been the sort to enter battle with a smile. he lived for the rush, for the danger, for the chance to feel something beyond monotony. He led from the front, his grin hidden behind his mask only after his men had seen it long enough to know that victory was assured. Now, that grin was gone. Even Trident company had been sent on other assignments for this mission. At his side, Vulpesen had only two other members of Veradune's Vitae Alliance. A captain of the Armis Militia and a High Agent within the Tenevi order. Both of them had a personal stake in this missionjust as much as the Valde. They may not have spent a large amount of time with their Aunt, but Vallen and Daella Torrevaso would, like their father, scour the edges of the galaxy for family.

"Stay close,"
Vulpesen whispered, his voice a hushed growl as he placed his mask over his face. "We can't afford mistakes on this one." His children gave a simultaneous nod then stepped forward with their father to listen in on the plan of the other strike team members. Shade's opening plan was simple and straight forward, exactly what the Valde wanted in this situation. Complicated plans lead to complications. "Vallen, help her."

"On it." The Chiss' rounds were followed swiftly by the retort of fennec pistol as Vallen trailed behind her, each shot ringing out witha concussive bang that threw more confusion into the mix beyond what the standard pew of a blaster could do. Each shot was practical and well thought, sent straight to the center mass. Vulpesen's son had been raised among warriors, men who understood that fancy work led to mistakes.

"Dae-" Vulpesen didn't even managed to finish saying his daughter's name when silver forks of lightning rushed from beside him. While Vallen had taken after his mother's technical prowess, the daughter of House Torrevaso had devoted her time to the Wilder groves. She didn't yet have the pure destructive power of her father, but each ionizing blast sent another droid collapsing uselessly into the sand. "Nevermind."

It was a source of pride for Vulpesen, to see his two children working so well in concert. They had devoted themselves to their crafts and while he had not had much opportunity to see their progress in the field, he was far from disappointed in what he saw now. "Onwards, I suppose." He placed a hand on Jax's shoulder as he stepped past his brother in law, his other hand rising to face the droids. Within a moment, Daella's silver lightning was followed by brilliant gold which crawled through almost a dozen of the droids like a ravenous beast. Between the Torrevaso clan, the Republic Agent, and padawan's ordinance, the wall of metal was crumpling like foil.
