- Siege Mode: Forgoing it's movement, the Tiger is capable of lowering itself and deploying it's massive one-way bubble deflector shield. While this locks the Tiger in place, it allows for the walker to forgo it's normal underbelly, and allows troops to disembark or board the walker under the cover of a shield, while allowing the Tiger to fire back through the shield.
- Landship: The Tiger is designed to house a full platoon of GADF soldiers, and act as a massive spearhead for the GADF's forward assault.
- Shield Generator: Can activate a shield generator that covers its entire body. While it does act as a drain for the power supply, not much is gonna get through it. It also comes with a separated set of generators for the frontal view-box, allowing the Driver the safety to view the battlefield, even under Ion attack.
- Mass-Driver: The Tiger's standard Mass Driver Cannon allows for a variety of rounds, and can be traded out for alternative turrets, should the mission call for it.
- Spearhead: The Tiger, much to it's name, is armed to the teeth. With it's Mass Driver coming standard with the regular model, the Tiger is designed as a moving arsenal, allowing GADF troops to engage the enemy with both heavy direct and indirect fire.
- Walking Bunker: The Tiger, inspired by walkers of the past, was built with a massive set of armor. Any attempts to break through it would be met with days worth of work. Even if the legs are disabled, the guns will still function.
- 360 View: To combat the typical weakness of such a vehicle, Si tech designed the Tiger with a mass array of sensors that allow the driver and gunners to see pretty much in every direction from the comfort of their seats.
- Walk it Off: Due to it's set of six heavily armored legs, losing one or three will not impede forward movement, and it's gyroscopic stabilization allows the walker to keep it's balance even at the loss of several legs.
- Rough Terrain? No problem: Unlike other walkers, the Tiger is inherently low to the ground. This was a problem for Si Tech, as it's walkers were designed to be all-terrain. The solution was a set of repulsorlifts in the feet, that counteract the weight of the massive walker, allowing it to float short distances. While it won't function as a hovercraft for long, it allows the Tiger to cross rivers and swamps no problem. The magnetized feet, coupled with the tractor field generators, allow the Tiger to watch entirely upside down if need be, and scale completely vertical walls if need be.
- Space is the Place: The Tiger is inherently a sealed system. It's heavy airlocks allow the Tiger and it's crew to function outside of atmospheres, and fight in space. While it still needs somewhere to 'walk', the Tiger is capable of firing at enemy corvettes and frigates with impunity.
- Walking Arty: Between it's Mass Driver, and it's retractable mortar, the Tiger has the ability to engage targets out of line of sight, and act as indirect fire support for the infantry.
- Soft Underbelly: The Tiger's underside is nowhere near as armored as it's outer hull. Should you be able to hit it, either through mines or a crazed soldier, it's guaranteed to do some damage.
- 2 Legs, That's a Problem: Despite the weight distribution, it wouldn't get rid of the inherent flaw of a walker. You knock out the legs, the giant falls. While the Tiger can act as a stationary bunker at that point, it's stuck without it's legs. Taking out certain legs can hinder the vehicle, forcing it to only have certain levels of movement.
- Thunderstruck: While the Tiger is capable of walking off small arms, or even tank to tank ion attacks, heavier ion bombardment or bombs, while not guaranteed to knock out all of the systems, will hamper the walker. It may disable the legs, or crucial systems.
- CAS Magnet: Despite it's decent speed for a walker of it's size, the Tiger has little defenses against enemy close air support, outside of it's singular mass driver cannon. While that cannon can be traded out for a Flak cannon, negating this weakness, it does mean you sacrifice firepower in favor of defending against a single type of enemy.
To win a war, sometimes you have to look to the past.
The Tiger was developed off the older AT-TE models of the Clone Wars, taking what worked back them, and updating it to the modern day. Filling a niche discovered during the defense of Empress Teta, the Tiger was created as a smaller, more compact command walker for armor companies that could use the cover of cities or forests to hide itself, and allow a more mobile and low to the ground command center, while not sacrificing survivability as opposed to the massive show of force the Sphinx is.
