- Double as Armor: While it's not wise to use your arms to block a lightsaber, these gauntlets allow you to do so, ya nut.
- Custom Fit: While the standard model can be seen as quite bulky, Si Tech does allow custom models (for those looking for something different in their art OOC)
- Quick Reload!: Designed for lasting entire fights, the power cells in the gauntlets allow for quick reload if you can get to cover.
- Pack a Punch: Every time you throw a punch, it launches out a sonic pulse. Whomever this hits is not gonna be in for a good time.
- Crunch!: Built around a pair of crushgaunts, the gauntlets include the original Crushgaunt ability to augment the user's strength, allowing them both to take the recoil of the sonic pulse, but also allowing them to crush most anything.
- The Sound of Thunder: At the expense of the entire power cell, The user can use both hands to fire off a massive sonic blast, firing twice as far as the normal range of the weapon, and hitting twice as hard.
- EMP Overload: Getting hit with an EMP with this weapon can cause an overload that will not only short out the weapon, but cause the weapon to eject it's power cell automatically as a safety feature.
- A Bit Heavy: Due the materials, the Power Paws were bound to be a bit heavy. Combined with the weapon's recoil, a low stamina user can find themselves worn out rather quickly by the weapon's use.
Rara has a tendency to look to pop culture for inspiration. One of her favorites was shared with her financeer Jonyna Si, an old holoshow called Bucky Stardust. Within said holodrama, the secondary protagonist had a pair of sonic gauntlets that allowed him to hit things far from him with a single punch. Rara did her best to emulate such abilities, but at the end of the day, long ranged sonic pulses just weren't feasible to the Cathar in the long run. Instead, she made the Power Paw, a set of gauntlets that fire off sonic pulses with every punch, allowing the user to have a limited ranged sonic attack at their disposal, as well as giving their attacks a bit more oomph.
