Matsu watched as more of them were moving off with her attention on it. The honey jars being brought out as she started putting them on the shelves of the equipment shack. Some places they could keep it and a small area they could land the speeders and transports within the area. Kei was moving off while she plotted a second location across the farmland and had droids going to mark it with this one halfway constructed. She could trust her team as they had te plans and knew what would work and what wouldn't work. They weren't planning on to many clustered but spacing them out nicely so they could work on things and have a good harvest year round with the farm hands helping out. She was preparing and waiting as a message went out to meet some of the locals.

Chevu's shuttle touched down in a field on Saleucami. She was scheduled to meet Gabriel as they gathered plants for the Sullust temple gardens. It was the perfect outing for the both of them, for not only was the planet being protected by the Silver Sanctum Coalition, but as Chevu was five months pregnant, and on hiatus from violent missions, researching plant life seemed to be one of the less dangerous things she could throw herself into. It was a good thing Saleucami wasn't a world like Orrazerus where the plants tried to eat you.

Gabriel himself was still under constant watch, but she hoped that would soon change. Chevu was happy to see the father of their children enjoying more and more freedoms. Checking her Datapad for coordinates, she saw two figures at the bottom of a hill. Gabriel's long salt-and-pepper braids gave away his identity, but who was the other man? As she drew closer she realized it was a guard.

"Why don't you take five," she tsked to the soldier as she neared. "I can watch him for now."

One Choice Waters

Nato hadn’t had a swim in an oasis for far too long! Or ever! Refreshing, she just drifted back under the waterfall and felt waters completely soak her face happily. She missed her old home times just relaxing and having fun by the pool most of all. It seemed everything of the last few months had been a blur since her capture, and getting back into daily life. Her lightsaber was by the edge of their waters just in reach, and the small pile of weapons she’d brought with her, blame mum!, stacked up high to the other side of it.

Her armor was on her ship! Well okay it wasn’t, because she’d been trained well, in her head her armor was on her ship, because of some little rebellious war she’d been fighting against fat looking hips, but in reality she’d been wearing it till she’d jumped in their pool. Sio had won, she stuck a tongue out into the air ahead of her, a happy laugh following, much happier than she remembered.

Getting out slowly to towel herself off, and letting the sun’s rays and heat settle her further, Natoline hmm’d and plopped herself back. She didn’t regret this visit one bit, maybe there were some fun small critters should could take home for Galina to study, or maybe just to bug the maids as she kept more and more pets in her room. Strapping herself back into firemane’s best armor, red of course being who she was, her hair was still wet so she pulled it back to tie, and let it drop down her shoulder, black as her locks ever looked. Latching up her boots and looking into her water’s reflection, she looked more tired than she remembered, but this dip had done her good.

He looked out, amid the grove, as he saw the Mirialan moving towards him. He let out a smile as she approached the guard, relieving him of his current guard responsibilities. Not that he needed it, he had been with the Alliance for months now, giving them information and assisting where he could. But distrust ran deep for the face he bore. But for her, she seemed unaffiliated with such distrust. Unlike her mentor, Gabriel couldn't be happier to have her as a friend and companion. For the confidence he showed, he was a bruised and tattered soul stuck in a new body.

Giving an eye to the guard, he nodded to him as he strode back up the hill slowly. He didn't envy the man, the armor probably wasn't helpful for the walk. Bringing his hands together, he approached Chevu with a glint in his brown eyes. Finding her hands in his, absent a collar or shackles, he angled his head to inspect her. She was showing now, more and more every day. And he was more than happy to see her take a step back from the more violent campaigns. It was dangerous for her and for the twins.

"Thank you. He was an awful partner for conversation." He feigned a frown. "Mostly grunts and sighs." He nodded to a particular area covered in trees. "Want to help? I'm looking for some fruit from the Bubse tree."

Supply runs were great. Kaia Starchaser was a fan of them. But what she wasn’t a fan of was not knowing what she was getting herself into. All she really knew was that she was being contracted out to help with supplies and a communications line within the Silver Coalition space. That was a good deal for her. Actually, really good. The tattooed Jedi wanted to help the galaxy by setting up some communications lines between Voss and Sullust, or well, at least the governments they represented.

Her ship was reverting to real space probably too close to the actual planet, but she was still working on fine tuning her father’s instructions on making the astrogation thing work. And sometimes she was hitting things just hard. The issue was now everything on shelves were fallen off, and some of the cabinets that weren’t secure were open. She could hear the plastic cups and plates his the floor and cringed.

Wonderful piloting, Kaia.

Still, the girl was flying while eating a burrito, for whatever reason, burritos and gumbos were her food of choice when she was underway. And also, never space-bananas. Those were just bad luck. Right, now where was she supposed to be?

As they moved forward, plans became more defined, updating the orders to match. Spacing things out he understood, that way they could make less of an impact on the land, and it made them less of an individual target. Discovery was less of an issue, because many farms would carry it, so if they lost a few it wouldn’t matter. Still he’d want some security if possible, and he might try and get the fleet in here to patrol if she'd go for it once a week, to keep an eye on local problems if they cropped up.

While Matsu got ready to greet the locals and handle the diplomacy, good thing because that wasn’t kei’s forte! The final digs were made, and they selected out some plants that would both be a deterrent and less obvious to anyone just wandering on by, he was hoping the locals would go for it as it would probably keep stray wildlife off their land, the same as less natural predators away from their farms.

“Matsu, Nikto behaving themselves? Any farmers turning you down?” Kei called across her comm system, hoping to handle any problems she was hitting head on.

“Can have the reserve fleet stop by weekly, see what the situation is here if they have concerns,” they'd be here shipping supplies or relief goods to some nearby system regardless, made sense if the locals needed more reassurance.

Needless to say Nato was not alone, for Elpsis had decided to tag along for this trip because of totally valid reasons. After all, it was very sunny here! Oh, and presumably lazing around at the beach would keep her out of trouble. Presumably. You could never be sure. So she abruptly emerged from the depths of the warm waters where she had been diving for quite some time. Finally getting a little tired of being in the waters, the redhead ducked her head under the water to slick her hair back from her face as she surface. Then she made her swim for the shore. Soon enough she had reached it, just as Nato was putting her armour back on. Dripping wet, the redhead emerged and walked across the sand. This is probably the moment for an obligatory line about how sand is coarse and gets everywhere.

"You really gotta put your armour back on already? We were having fun here," she declared, pouting slightly. She had almost said something corny and perhaps moderately pervy about enjoying the view, but sometimes Elpsis thought things through. Hmm. Alright, maybe sometimes was too generous. Occasioanlly. Her own armour and weapons were lying close to Nato's, but she was a bit reluctant to wear something more covering than a swimsuit! Her damp firemane was a bit of a tousled mess.

As Tempest arrived on the scene, the last of the cyborgs were being dispatched. The combat zone was a mess of bodies, elemental leftovers and the stink of blood.

Bolters cracked and they stepped over the fallen to finish off the last of the not-dreadguard cyborgs.

“Kaida, you alright?” Tempest asked, moving swiftly over.

Faintly, the sound of explosions could be heard as the citadel was pounded.

Meanwhile, a third person emerged from the water! Eyrecae Alzari, usually the hammer wielding demi-goddess of the Eldorai, walked up onto the beach. She pushed back her long white hair and looked at the pair.
“Pfft, what with putting all this armour on? Got to dry off first or the sand gets annoying!”

She’d been sent along as a sort of bodyguard for the pair…but mainly because she had wanted some fun in the sun. She’d tried getting a tan, but it didn’t really work for her, what with her body regenerating everything she did. It could get a bit annoying!

“Relax, girls, we’re in no rush.” She wandered over in her bikini, making no effort to get changed.

The scene was a mess when Tempest and Firemane minions arrived. Bodies, the stench of blood and burnt electronics, melting ice, and a thoroughly wrecked corridor where the ground itself had been warped.

All in all, just another day on the Firemane train. The sharp crack of bolters was heard as the last cyborgs were put out of their misery. Kaida was on the ground and apparently in pain, though she managed to draw upon the energies of the Force to heal herself a bit. Well, to a degree. She lacked the touch and finesse of more professional healers, but she could keep the pain down and mend broken bone to a degree.

"Just a few scratches." Bit of an understatement, but it probably already counted for something that she admitted she'd been hurt. Then again, she liked Tempest. "I can handle it. Let's go. This corridor should lead to the inner sanctum."

[member="Tempest"]

She looked around, before putting her plate on the seat besides her, the all-too-empty co-pilot seat. Sure, she had a droid to keep her company, but it wasn’t the same as having someone else, another warm body. Kaia was self sufficient and handled most things by herself, but every so often? It would be nice to have someone else handle it for her. Show her the ropes, protect her when the pirates showed up, and helped secure the criminals when push came to shove.

But normally, those intrusive thoughts didn’t enter her mind, not until she was underway without a rest stop for a month or so, then it started to bother her.

Sadly, meeting people also meant she needed to leave her ship, and Kaia was a bit phobic when it came to doing anything outside of her ship, or a friendly station. She could do cantinas plenty fine, but those were so not the people you wanted to meet.

Anyway, here she was at…. She looked at her screen, right. Sell-uhh…Cami? Saleucami?

However it was pronounced. “This is Wandering Star on approach to Saleucami with delivery for… from… regarding? The Silver Sanctum Coalition. I have a flight plan and am a scheduled arrival. If this interferes with business let me know.”

Otherwise she would be godmodded into carrying on.

"Sure. Is this fruit edible?" the Mirialan joked, poking fun at herself for being ravenously hungry all the time. Eating for two and all that. Gathering plants was a refreshing change of pace, but a part of her wished that she could be doing something more risky, something that would give her a chance to use practice some of her new skills, like the Force Weapon power she'd learned on Alaris Prime. Cold comfort at least she wasn't staring down a Sith who wanted to use the Force to strangle her unborn children with their own umbilical cords. She'd had nightmares about Onderon for weeks, and they'd only just begun to subside.

Chevu smiled and ran her green-skinned thumbs along the back of his tanned hands in a way that said that the plants weren't nearly as interesting to her as the man looking for them. The Mirialan Knight was impressed with Gabriel's vast knowledge of botany and nature. Perhaps reflecting on nature kept him from going mad during those times when he lived in his brother's head and was witness to his horrifying deeds. It was a pet theory of hers anyway.

There were more things on the planet as she could feel it in the force moving through the emitters. The sonic field not turned up to the levels to hurt most people but it could give a headache while she was moving through to the fields. There were some of the farmers she was set to meet while clasping her hands behind her back with a bow of her head. "Thank you for coming." The small map one of the researchers had showing where they could set up with her turning her head. "Kei, I'll talk with them, whatever systems you need in place use the droids and we can start working on more systems. Have the researchers input the designs into the converters to start making the parts as needed."

He smiled as they walked. The open plains transitioning into a closed canopy forest. Prairie grasses turning into a sparsely populated floor, green shrubs occasional, dominated by a massive overgrowth of deciduous trees. Bark brown, deeply furrowed. Multiple root systems, shallow and deep. Allowed for the harvest of the tree without killing it. At least, that's what the information said.

"Actually they are, but you have to cut the seed out and boil the meat..." He smirked and scratched his nose as he pulled her along, armorweave robe dragging across the detritus. A track for two, perhaps four. Placing his palm against the trunk of the closest tree, his fingers dug against the furrows as his nails chipped away the platy bark. He looked back to her and backed away from the tree, looking up towards the leaves. Pulling his hand away from hers, he gesticulated for a fruit about the size of a melon "The fruits are about this big, bright red prior to falling..." He looked up towards the canopy. "Jacen gave me some information on it. They are supposed to be fruiting right now."

He exhaled slightly in frustration, not spotting any. "Maybe this isn't the tree." Totally oblivious to the actions, Chevu formerly playing with the skin over his knuckles. He was just happy to be out and about and not in conflict. Her being there was the icing on his cake. Realizing that, he ran a hand over his beard and looked back towards Chevu, squinting his eyes. He was normally so fixated on her that this distraction seemed foreign. Approaching, he placed a hand across the small of her back, rubbing in a massaging manner. "How are you feeling?" He recalled the fierce aches that came with pregnancy. She hadn't said anything about it but with the changes in her body, he was sure she was just dealing with it quietly.

Tempest gave her friend a once over. She didn’t quite believe her, but wasn’t going to argue.
“Alright, come on then.”

Soon enough they came to the outer courtyard. The keep had changed a lot in the meantime. Artillery and airstrikes had tumbled the walls and smoke curled above it.
However, anyone attempting to scale the breaches in the walls would be greeted by heavy firepower.

“Bring up the tanks and advance with them?” Tempest suggested. Once they broke the last defence line they could piece the inner sanctum where presumably the Sith Master awaited them.

Clouds of smoke billowed up into the sky, the walls had been pounded by artillery strikes and craters had been blown into the ground of the courtyard. However, the defenders still resisted. Deluded the darkside cultists might be, but they still had plenty of firepower.

Kerrigan would've probably tried to battering ram her way through. At least Kaida thought so. The elf was not her, since she liked her limbs the way they were. Intense blaster and high-calibre slug fire came shooting their way from a weapons emplacement, and she quickly pulled Tempest into cover behind some rubble along with her, throwing up a protective bubble as an RPG roared their way.

The explosive collided with the bubble of Force energy, which collapsed under the strain, though it kept the shockwave from doing nasty things to their internal organs. Breathing heavily, Kaida gave Tempest a nod, having been tossed and slammed into the ground. Ouch. "Agreed. Not in the mood to death charge. We take out their anti-tank shooters." Tanks were available in form of Reaver-class assault tanks, which in addition to a mass driver cannon and repeaters possessed a flamethrower. Angelii and Firemane soldiers were returning fire with conventional and elemental assaults, keeping the Sith at distance.

Use the droids, it was as if Matsu had summoned Fyor Nayus himself in a veritable explosion of circuits and wiring, nope that was just the zap he'd felt on his hands, “who built this unit a jawa?”

[member="Kaia Starchaser"] There would be a sound resembling a squeaking nnnnning tone as someone properly tuned to the ship above from their field tent, and some argumentative babbling before, sssssh you fool were on was muttered, with a few sarcastic comments in binary beeped back at him.

To [member="Kaia Starchaser"]

“Our grandest of thanks for your timely arrival, we have setup a landing site for you at grid reference,” the digits read off almost like an automated machine might. In his many varied gadgets and self made technological marvels that he wore, Fyor could be so mechanical at times, it was uncanny almost, but there was the necessary trademark flourish at the end to finish, “thank you for being there for those below, for the supplies find us at a most favorable time....” the voice have trailed into a familiar grandiose speech regarding the necessity of box moving and cargo control, before someone quite literally fell over the wire, and the comm system went dead.

A few minutes later, inside the main tent, in a much more orderly military setting... Kei had made the call, it was past time, “its your area of expertise.” The Epicanthix passed the torch to his good friend Fyor, a friend who was eyeing him very suspicious on behalf of Natoline but Fyor was clever enough not to let on why, yet.

“Why most certainly it is,” the Lorrdian Engineer said with an ever flourishing bow, sweeping his coat back in a bold gesture. “I would suppose that you might have extended the sonic emitters to a multi band frequency, but do keep the volume down in this direction. Not everyone has the limited hearing of a spade you know.” Fyor tapped the side of his ear demonstrating the multitude of cybernetic enhancements that assisted his hearing, but many species made their homes in the SSC, and some with far more sensitivity than Kei's great lugs.

[member="Matsu Ike"]

To work on the droids for Matsu! It would not be long before technical wizardry saw some semblance of order fitting the emitters for Matsu, personally supervising outside with a small following of droids, while Kei sat in his tent, being kei-like and stressed, as he ever was.

The guard trailed behind them at a comfortable distance as they ventured deeper into the forest. Saleucami was such a curious world, the only planet in its system that was habitable. What made life flourish here, where else ware in the sector, it refused to grow? Chevu let her fingers wander to her stomach as she watched Gabriel inspect the leaves of an unknown tree. She wondered if after spending weeks in a prison cell, did Gabriel really want to return to Sullust? Come to think of it, if the man wanted to leave Sullust, would the Galactic Alliance simply let him go? He had done nothing wrong, yet the Marshals and Commanders were still keeping him in a cell and adorning him with a collar and cuffs. Perhaps another visit with the Grand Marshal was in order. Chevu wanted to right this wrong once and for all.

She was pulled from her thoughts by a gentle hand on the curve of her back. She grinned up at him, touched by his concern.

"I'm well," she said. She was reluctant to talk about her changing body and the limitations it put on her as a member of the Alliance. She wanted to be fighting the Sith, not dealing with heartburn and sleeplessness.

"They're getting restless," she added, looking down with a smile, referring to the movement she felt sometimes. "Just like me."

Because reasons called for redheads! Armor half fastened, her strapped legs all strappy, just about tightly done up but her top half still only covered by a red-t. Faintest of sighs when Elpsis called, her shoulders sunk, in all the best ways. Teeth clasping her bottom lip, she twirled about to see her, “such poutyness, such bad,” one simple step forward, hair dripping wet down her side, she stared right back, an especially bright cheeky smile on her wet face and so innocent blinking eyes.... yeah right.

Well... as for nose tensing or other thinking related activities that made her sleepy, or just bored. Nato never thought things through, Elpsis was the brains of this operation, and the moral compass! So yep, take that redheads and space elves!

Big differences in her since she'd settled back at home, heart was still thumping but... she pulled her hair to her side and ran her towel through it, drying off as she watched Elpsis's lips with not so insignificant little glances, “you never told me we were having fun, just kinda, y'know.... thought this was all business.” Popping an outstretched finger to tap ms redheads shoulder, maybe Nato was tryin to hard. Frrrrrrrooooooop, she blew out and right on time popped her lips.

Turning and getting full view of the third lady that had been sharing their pool, Nato didn't know her, which was exactly why she'd wanted to swim! Nato-logic, new people, more friends, more fun. The way she sauntered out of their pool, drew her away from Elpsis, for a beaming smile, "hey, yep.. kinda refreshin', maybe... could relax for a lil while longer." So while the others made no attempts to rush into their armor... nato made no attempt to rush at all out of it... nope no rush, to sit down against some sandstone, and slide off her armors leather straps, very carefully indeed till her shining legs were free and toes wiggling once more in their beating sun.

"Forever well..." He said with a weak smile, the sort that might doubt the phrase while appreciating the intent. Maybe she felt she shouldn't confide in him, they had done a good deal of that in the past already. Or maybe she felt that there were bigger issues in the universe, the suffering and ailments of a pregnant woman quite low on the spectrum of importance. Of course, he disagreed and the intense knot in her back did as well. He kicked over a rotting fruiting body as he pressed hard into the muscle, trying to be helpful. The seed from the Bubse tree must have been eaten by some vermin. "You don't always have to be well, Chevu."

He perked up a the thought of their activity. Activity was good and healthy, though the consequences were likely inclement towards a healthy mixture of frustration and anxiety and giddiness. The body goes through a lot of changes when preparing to bring life into the world. But even for those who question keeping the child, it's hard to fight that spiritual bond that's formed. Carrying something for nine waking months is not a conducive environment for letting go. And they were still tossing that idea around. "So you are feeling them kick?" He smiled at the idea, though the time was more than appropriate. He recalled the first kick Tormund made, 25 weeks along. 20 or so weeks was pretty standard, he thought. Even more so for twins.

Twins. He inwardly felt odd at that prospect. Having his own special circumstances, he felt the hope of the world being set right along with the fear that previous events might repeat themselves. A worrying father, too guarded to yet confess how he felt. Maybe he and Chevu were alike in that way.

Nima Tann

Master of Her Own Destiny
Tick, tock, tick, tock... Swing, defense, swing, defense... Another dominion by the Silver Coalition, and as always she was there to help them achieve the goals. But this time, aside from the little silence that comes before the storm, her shuttle got in between the fight in front of a scary looking castle. She has been asked for help to wipe out the castle, and wipe out the castle she was going to do, with the help of countless sisters and brothers of course. After escaping the shuttle, she immediately activated her lightsaber and joined the fight, and found an enemy for herself already, and he was saying something....? Maybe? She didn't understand, yet she didn't need to as well, in the end, everyone had the same voice when they screamed. That's when she understood she was getting a bit darker, yet no time to think about those things now. Since they had enemies to kill, and a castle to take. She has heard from the briefing that some of the people were already in the castle and they were waiting for the gates to open. And in the meantime, stall the enemies enough to make sure their allies got the job done.

She and countless others were fighting at the gates of an evil castle that has been placed in a planet she has never seen before, and it definitely didn't leave a good impression on her according that it didn't even give her a little time to explore first and throw her into a fight. And Ice was with her too, she realized that she wasn't bringing the wolf to more missions lately, and no matter how she was turning him into a house pet, he was still a mutated wolf, and needed to hunt. "Go, Ice. Make sure they are well distracted. I'll be okay here." She said in an ordering voice, and the wolf barked happily, then started to run towards the enemy growling. And she continued to slice them one by one, all the attention of outside the gates were theirs, and it shouldn't have been a problem to get into the controls of the gate. And, yes it didn't, as the gates slowly opened to the outside group.

"The gates are open!" She shouted, then continued. "It is our time to push, stop distracting and start fighting!" Then, she killed the one she was being attacked by. No time for games anymore, it was the time. And also, there were still their people in the castle somewhere, they would need their help. Entering the castle guns, and lightsabers blazing, they started to take out all the enemies that the inside group left for them before entering the main courtyard. Soon they would reunite with the group, since there were voices coming in the area, and the voices that wasn't shouting good, at all. "Don't pull back! Someone tell the inside group we are coming."
