Matsu looked at Kei for a moment while she was thinking about it and they might be able to make the bees want to make their own hives but then collecting the honey could be more dangerous. This way they could control the flow as it were and not let the hives get to big and unmanageable. She didn't want that to happen while they were working and setting up the grates. "We could leave them to make their own hives on the planet but then getting the honey for use would be dangerous and run the risk of scattering them. THis is much safer with the suits and we won't break their hives as we have them setup in the boxes." Her attention was on some of the things while they transplanted the flowers with a small tent and equipment shack. "We'll have a smoker to get them out and plenty of containers but avoid flames as to not ignite the honey."

Objective: Diplomatic talks with the government of Saleucami
Location: Capital city.

A pretty place to be found on the dry planet. The capital nestled within one of the larger Oasis, buildings born for the sandy ground made of stone that cooled the blood when one enters them. Having arrived, Coci made her way across the elegant bridge that would lead her to the house of government and to meet with Saleucami representatives. There is no sense of hostility in the area, her presence welcomed, and the talks will center around trade mostly, but also the implementation of the communication lines. The Saleucami government had already given their permission, only seeing the presence of the Silver Sanctum as beneficial, and would help increase much trade for their planet, and just quietly they would be protected against any form of threat that might come of the darkness or Hutts.

Coci adjusted her robes and stood ready to be received.

Tempest was not a fan of enclosed spaces. Usually it wasn’t much of a problem, but strapped into a drilling machine as it ground and dug its way deafeningly through the ground.
It took all her energy to focus, close her eyes and ignore the jolting sensation.

When at last they burst free of the ground and the hatches popped open, Tempest was ready. With bolter in hand she jumped out, using her jetpack to rise to the ceiling of the basement and fire down a volley of bolter rounds into the first Sith who had come to investigate.

Dropping back down she moved across to Kaida. “This room’s clear. You draw their fire, I’ll head for the gate and let our girls in. Then we’ll head for the inner sanctum.”

Kaida gave Tempest a nod as the smoke cleared. "Works for me. Girls, move it. Chamber APE rounds." While the rest of the Eldorai army was more progressive, the Angelii still refused to recruit men. Presumably the Firemane contingent was more gender-equal, but Kaida liked brevity and hated using more words than was absolutely necessary.

No more words were wasted as the Angelii contingent began proceeding out of the basement. Speed was of the essence, but the unit remained wary of ambushes, searching every room they passed with surgical precision while providing mutual cover. The fact that it was quite dark made it difficult to see at first, but that was what infrared was for.

Seeing a pair of stormtroopers trying to flee, Kaida brought up her bolter and mowed them down with a quick burst. One of her battle sisters moved into the vacated room to check for more. "Clear," was the laconic answer. Picking up the pace, they soon came to a particularly impressive door, which guaranteed that it held something important! Kaida could have shattered the hardened durasteel door with ice, but that would've taken longer, so she gave a hand signal to one of her battle sisters, Ynnead. It could be translated as: Make us a door! The Angelii called upon her greatest power; magnetism, and put her hand to the door. For terramancy did not just comprise power over the earth, but enabled manipulation of metal.

At first little happened, but as the soldier bent and warped the materiel to her will, the door became unhinged and then was sent flying when she threw an almighty punch at it. Kaida's own power fuelled this as she kept a solid grip on the door and accelerated its speed. This meant that a Sith who had been alerted to the breach was utterly unable to telekinetically deflect the aforementioned door when it rammed him at absurd speed. Ouch. This hurt his skull a good deal, and a stormtrooper was similarly crushed beneath it.

Without wasting time, the Angelii stormed the room to ruthlessly take out surprised Sith minions. Much to her own surprise, Kaida found that the room was...a wine cellar. In her mind this said a lot about the Sith's priorities if they used a heavy durasteel door to seal this sort of place!

"Alarm!"

Well, that was dramatic, Kaida found as she tossed a massively accelerated icicle through the chest of a stormtrooper before finishing off another with a clean swipe of her lightsabre. Within moments, individuals that belonged to the tribe of pale-skinned, black robe-wearing and red glowstick-wielding leeches were filling the room, tossing around Lightning and vile tendrils of Force Drain.

Well, this complicated things a tad. An unexpected telekinetic push directed her back suddenly sent her flying towards the waiting crimson lightsabre of a Sith. Unfortunately for him, she was wearing phrik armour and so the blade sliced down across her joints, causing burning but little more. Before she rammed the Sith at absurd speed in a full-on collision.

Ouch. He was thrown back hard, she was momentarily stunned. A biting cold set in as the moisture in the air grew a lot heavier, dense crystals wrapping around the Sith's limbs, making it harder to move or even properly wield a weapon. She could feel him try to draw upon tapas to counter the atrocious cold he was feeling. Seized by the awesome rage that Sith tended to cultivate, he unleashed an agonised scream of pure wrath and orange, leeching tendrils erupted from his frost-covered fingertips and swept towards her, seeking to drain her of her power.

Kaida reeled as the vampiric tendrils gripped her, seeking to sap her of her life force and kill her concentration. The draining sensation grew ever stronger, though she managed to shield herself. Still the Sith got the time to free himself of the ice by shattering it through a telekinetic blast. Triumph could be seen in his sulfuric, yellow eyes. It was short-lived as he was suddenly gripped by horrible pain when she filled his lungs with liquid. Even a Sith needed to breathe, after all.

Another Sith was moving to engage her, swinging a Sith sword but his strike was prevented by Ynnead moving in to intercept it with her Taegis shield. The shield was punctured by the impact of the blow, but it held well enough. No time for thanks from being saved from what would've been a very painful blow. Acting in unison they cornered the Sith and cut him down after Ynnead crushed his helmet to suffocate him. But more and more opponents were filling the room, bolters and elemental blasts kept them at bay, but the Angelii might soon be outnumbered, though the cellar left both little room to manoeuvre. Moreover, the Sith had begun lobbing in grenades. Some of the barrels had been damaged during the battle and now wine was leaking out, which gave her an idea.

"Retreat in order. Blow up the barrels! We'll drown the scum in wine! Form phalanx," Kaida ordered, speaking in Eldarai instead of Basic so that the Sith could not understand her. Responding to her order the Angelii seemed to pull back to the edge of the hall, back to where the door had once been, forming a phalanx to protect themselves. Believing that they had the edge, the Sith pressed their assault. Boom. Bolter fire erupted, but rather than being directly aimed at the hostiles it was directed at the barrels, blowing them up. Suddenly, the cellar was filled with wine and she drove it towards the Sith in a massive flood. Soon the water had been turned freezing cold. Frozen wine popsicles!

Fireborn finds winter's children.
Danger, his duty. Taiden’s usual light footed step, glanced over geysers about to send steam bursting through the floor, barely touching ground, toes pressing accelerated into force speed, precision and poise leaning to dip and sway with the moving of their floor and setting. Sure footing carried him along a certain path, always shown and read in motion. Scooping up the nearest youngling in the force and virtually twirling them on his back in one move, [member="Nina Heavenshield"] or @npc, the whiteclad padawan looked for the others, smoke and dust in his eyes, he had to reach out with his hands and the force to find the wind and colder air at all, stumbling slightly. Dipping his knee to regain stance and shift his weight, he felt the rush of colder temperatures to his skin, even small degrees might signal a way out.

Ducking low, if there was the one thing Echani did it was move well, he made sure whoever was on his back was kept out of harm's way, crouching and following the cavern patterns as best he could. Extending a nod to [member="Théodred Heavenshield"], "show us the way, take us to our exit." He encouraged Theo, while calling back to the others to follow. The Echani checked on any he came across to see if they held any injury, even while they moved. He did this with keen sight rather than words, or touch, were they walking awkwardly, any visible burns affecting their comfort, how was their breathing? Concentration that would have made another squint, or rub their eyes awkwardly was the norm.

After long appraising looks to any nearby, he shouted back into the sweltering heat to find the others, calling the Knight and their group to follow Theo. Taiden’s was duty not stubbornness, and he stayed only as long as he must to see the last child or padawan out of the cavern, sweating. Beginning to measure his breathing and attempt to control the flow of air, a novice technique to try and cool his temperature and heartbeat.

But… Taiden being who he was, waited for the Knight’s call to move further toward the village.

Strong nod given, Kei could see what Matsu was saying made sense. Running his hand down his to his throat and back, “could set some wild, leave a smoking gun for any world coming under vong threat,” always the guardian mindset, even now, or more especially now he was less of a guardian day to day with his humanitarian work. Practical at a time like this, Amadis put his shovel down and walked on over, letting the tiredness from the digging fall from his back with every other step, letting the muscles move around to loosen them up.

While others were setting up ready for the hives and digging the farmland, he put his hands on a box in front of Matsu, “we need this... they need this." He looked out at the wold around him, "we’ve got tensor tech, not near enough.” Vongs were dangerous, he’d seen the casualty reports, spent a few years on a counter of his own. Tensor was the current counter but you had to be able to hold it on them, this honey might just be what they were looking for, and save him a difficult choice.

“What do you need?” He asked Matsu directly, a serious look on his face, as if what she was working on right now could change things, and give people some hope, at least a deterrent from further violence, and perhaps a peace to come.

Matsu was looking at him while he spoke and she gave a nod of her head. "It can but don't put all the stock in it. It is great against their armor but their biots can still be dangerous. The trees on ithor that produce the pollen we can work to find and transfer here just in case but that is not as easily done as it is said." Matsu looked at the one case though and set it up on the stands with the others while they were filling in the sections of it as well as the equipment. "Once we have this site ready, we can bring in some of the bees and be careful, their honey as other effects as well it is a mild alcoholic substance."

Whilst Kaida was doing a very good job of drawing attention and slaying people in the wine cellar, Tempest’s group headed for the entrance to the fortress.
With Freya taking up the rear, Tempest’s two squads headed rapidly for the gate. Another squad took sniping positions with bolters poised to counter any Sith attack.

As they gained the walls they started to encounter resistance. The Sith, not all drawn to the lower levels, were on alert and opened a heavy fire on them as they tried to move along the walls of the castle. Bolters returned fire, but they were temporarily pinned down, unable to push forward.

Tempest, taking cover, turned to Freya. “Keep them busy, I’ve got an idea.”

Whilst the bolters and blasters exchanged fire, Tempest used her jetpack to drop down to the base of the wall, race along it until she was behind the Sith position above her. Then, using her jetpack she suddenly rose into position, and with a pair of heavy grenades behind their shield barricades she caused panic. Dropping down, her lightsabre blazed and cut down many of the enemy troopers whilst her troops moved forward to assist her.

With this barrier broken the gateway was almost theirs. As the Firemane troops fought for control of the gun emplacements there was a single Sith blocking Tempest’s path. A Sith with blazing red lightsabre and malevolent eyes.

It was clear that things were not going to be quite as simple as assumed!

Hopefully none of the stormtroopers or Sithies were anti-alcholics. It would be unfortunate if their pledge never to consume alcoholic beverages was broken through no fault of their own because a somewhat prickly frost elf had decided to flood the entire cellar with freezing cold wine. Then again, the aforementioned Sithies were undoubtedly heinous people and, moreover, would be dead due to drowning.

Hopefully the League of Anti-Alcoholics would not press charges against the Eldorai. Some of the Sith minions were lucky enough to turn tail and run away as the flood of wine overtook the room, drowning their comrades. However, unfortunately for them, manipulating molecules to freeze liquid was one of Kaida's calling cards and she had some other cryomancers in her unit.

While two electromancers electrocuted fleeing Sith with lightning, an icy coldness set in. Harnessing her power, she drew upon her willpower to freeze the wine solid. Through this manipulation, the temperature of the water was cooled towards freezing point, then it solidifed. In effect, it was as if the Sithies had been trapped beneath a frozen river. A biting cold swept through the cellar as it was frozen. Having your body frozen was...unpleasant.

Kaida took a deep breath, cold steam escaping her mouth and temporarily obscuring her vision. A powerful push shattered the ice like an icebreaker would, which also had the effect of clearing. Hostiles who were lucky enough to have survived the experience were put out of their misery by getting shot or cut down with the sarix. "Move it," Kaida said tersely as she stepped over frozen corpses and pieces of ice. Passing out of the wrecked cellar, they moved into another corridor.

"Tempest, moving out of the cellar. What's your status?" Kaida spoke through the comm as they passed through another corridor, rapidly moving forward to link up with the Firemane forces. She could hear the sounds of bolterfire echo from the gateway, but was obviously not in the know about the exact situation there. However, musings about this were cut short when more opposition arrived!

"Lasst die Übermenschen los!" Strange, alien words droned out of the loudspeaker. Kaida found herself a bit perplexed. She could not translate the words, but they sounded somewhat ominous, so she directed her two squads to take cover behind some conveniently placed pillars.

However, then suddenly cyborgs appeared on the spot! The fruit of the tireless labours of Sith scientists, they were a crude fusion of man and machine. Most of their organic tissue had been replaced by machinery, their memories had been wiped to ensure total compliance with the Cult's orders, and even their limbs had been turned into weapons, as repeating blasters and blades had been directly built into their arms. They felt like a void in the Force, as if they were husks. "Widerstand ist zwecklos. Sie werden assimiliert werden," one Cyborg spoke in a dull, emotionless monotone.

Bolter fire erupted from the Angelii, along with blasts of lightning. However, much to Kaida's annoyance the electrical judgement seemed to have little effect on the Cyborgs beyond slowing them down. Presumably they had been outfitted with some form of armour that gave them a measure of resistance against a machine's most common weakness. Well, this made things a bit more difficult since apparently were facing Force Dead Teutonic Cyborgs in Lightning-Resistant Armour!

The ornate double doors opened and Coci was ushered into the conference room. Before her, stood four representatives and the Prime Minister, a blue wroonian woman one of the many races that had come to Saleucami over the centuries. Coci descended into a low bow before them all, before she was heralded. The Prime Minister moved forward and returned the bow, "Greetings Master Jedi Heavenshield, welcome to Saleucami", she said extending her hand to invite Coci to sit.

Coci returned the greeting, and sat at the end of the table, the Prime Minister the opposite end. "I am Vessa deLuc, Prime Minister of Saleucami and these are my ministers", each one of the four took up position around the table. Coci is very much out of her depth in diplomatic circles, although she remained calm, internally she hoped none of them would try and poison her, the last time that happened she did not react well to the situation. She still remembers Teg's word loud and clear. However, there appeared to be no sign of danger today.

"I am Coci Heavenshield, Master of the Sliver Sanctum Coalition", just a formality as they know her name and so the talks begin. For hours ..

An old general's mind, with a few tricks left yet. “Any chance, or defense is better than non.” Kei nodded firmly, he understood they had other tools but they needed the edge should the vong ever come knocking on their door. “It’ll be ready Matsu, you have my word.” Sincere in his voice, Kei looked around the engineering crews that had gathered, a bit too close for her last comment “You didn’t hear that,” he said to the nearest engineer with a grin. Alcohol, better keep the nikto under guard then… rubbing his temples, and shaking himself ready to really get started.

Countersite Zero

“Get this site the full attention it deserves, double shifts, put every man you’ve got spare to work. Three mile perimeter setup in all directions, and no word of what we are doing here to leave it, call in our reserves from the temple," he watched the officer ahead as he began taking down notes.

"Its that important?"

"It’s that important.” Amadis reaffirmed to the nearest wildcard officer, who made his way off back to the command tent they had just been setting up nearby.

Ordering the transportation of further heavier machinery, it slowly began to arrive to really get their dig underway for the farmland, but more important than that, he requested several surgical droids that would have the precision necessary to enact Matsu’s work on a larger scale. They’d need programming, running through the routine to handle the honey, showing how to teach other droids the same thing so they could speed the process up, even before it was in place to arrive on mass.

“How long do these trees take to setup?” After getting them here in the future, they’d need to ensure they took, then after that how long till the honey was produced? "Could use this to blanket an area and deny approach," and what better deterrent than a completely natural minefield.

Matsu gave a nod as he was heading off to work and she went about it, sure droids were fine but why waste them or at least why leave it all t them while she was working with some to set up the shed for the equipment and tools. She wanted to get as much as she could ready for them before heading to the next location and plotting that one out so they would have several sitees across the planet for growing the bees and the honey. Some could even be siphoned off and used on other worlds to try and create a stock but she didn't have much in the way of plans for that just yet. Instead looking at Kei while she spoke. "Be careful, once we turn on the emitters it can be disorienting if you just walk through them unaware. Make sure your men know the perimeter"

Sith and Dark Jedi faced off. It was somewhat unfair and untrue to call Tempest a Dark Jedi as she had never been one of any colour. However, now faced with a Sith she ironically seemed to be on the lighter side of the struggle for once.

“I sense much darkness in you. Your life is wasted with this cattle. Join with us, sister, and we will show you true power!”
Tempest said nothing, but her hand crept down her side towards her pistol.
“Soon we will rise and sweep away the remnants of the Jedi. The Dark Age will bloom, and the One Sith will bend to our Mistress! Join me, be on the winning side! It is your destiny….”
Tempest pretended to consider it. “I do have one question.”
“Yes?”
“Are you all so dumb?” Her hand blurred, the Cylix bolt pistol came out and fired a shot in a heartbeat.
To her credit, the Sith was not entirely caught off guard. However, living in Krak de Chevaliers had clearly hidden her from the news about bolt weapons.
Easily, contemptuously she brought up her lightsabre and hit the bolt. Unfortunately the bolt was more than a slug, and when she hit it the molten metal contained inside burst out and sprayed across her face.
With a scream of rage and pain she staggered back, the flecks of copper causing bloody burns on her face.
Before she could unleash lightning or attack though Tempest fired five more times. This time the Sith was wiser and avoided four of them with the Force, but one of the bolts, aimed low, smashed into her leg with a sickening sound.

As the Sith fell, Tempest unleashed a blast of lightning with her other hand which caught the Sith in the chest and knocked her screaming to the ground.
Moving to stand over her and stamp on her right hand, Tempest loaded another magazine into her bolt pistol.
“Consider your offer…rejected.” She fired once, twice, three times. “Alright, send the signal, get our girls in here!” she ordered.

The message would go out to [member="Nima Tann"] and anyone outside the castle that they had the gate and reinforcements could enter.

Upon conclusion of the meeting with the Prime Minister, Coci had left the conference room with firm trade negotiations completed and permission to begin to drop the communications beacons from Iego to Saleucami. Awaiting her command is a fleet of SSC ships in orbit over Iego and once she contacts them they will start the drops and computer links.

Making her way back to "blondie", Coci wasted no time walking to the bridge and the crew set course for orbit and onto Iego.

"Commander Tekli, this is Master Heavenshield. Mission "Acid drops", is go", the only message needed to be received to the fleet of Mentor-class cruiser. "Blondie", jumped into hyperspace and Coci would meet the fleet enroute. There was no point in her remaining on deck besides it did not help her phobia of flying, her allotted quarters more appealing and some rest. The talks had given her a headache.

Deep within Castle Wolfenstein, a fierce battle was waged between the Angelii and a horde of apparently Force Dead Cyborgs. Why the Sith would create such beings escaped Kaida, since being 'Force Dead' could potentially make them a threat. Presumably they had crude killswitches or something like that. Regardless, such intellectual musings were not relevant at this stage.

Being Force Dead meant that various direct applications of the Force simply did not work on them and their actions could not be sensed in advance via precognition, which made countering them more difficult. Likewise their heavy armour shielded the cyborgs from lightning, their speed and reaction time was significantly enhanced by their cybernetics. However...this did not mean that the Angelii's Sciia was ineffective against them. One only had to be a bit creative. Fortunately Eldorai Sciians specialised in elemental powers...

For now the Eldorai were on the defensive and might soon be outnumbered as the Cyborgs relentless advanced, unleashing salves of blaster fire from their heavy repeating blasters, along with grenades. Bolts of plasma seared through the air, difficult to deflect even for Kaida's lightsabre as she sank into the defensive stance of Soresu to bat bolts aside. One unlucky Angelii was taken out of the game as she clenched from an explosive wound and shrapnel when the Cyborgs began lobbing grenades.

Grabbing one of her battle sisters she hastened to cover. A look passed between her and one of the terramancers, Ynnead, and before long stone and rubble began to fall from above, while the ground was warped. Earth magic was a very fancy skill, and in this case it lent itself to forming barricades of stone that gave the Eldorai cover to hide behind.

Metal cables and rods were bent with Sciia from the ground then, wrapping around the firing stations and reinforcing them. This significantly impeded the cyborgs' advance, but suddenly some of them leapt into the air, for they were apparently equipped with jet wings. Spinning at high speeds, clinging to its blade, an automaton turned itself into a high-flying, high-speed buzzsaw of doom. Presumably if [member="HK-36"] had been here, he might have sued the 'borg for plagiarism since this was one of his signature moves!

Unfortunately for them, the Force enhanced aim and bolters of Angelii worked in their disfavour, though two made it through. A cry of pain was heard when one of the Eldorai got skewered. A biting cold set into the room as an icy wind swept through it, slamming into the cyborgs at high speed. Jumping into the air to meet them, she sent her lightsabre flying towards one. A cyborg knocked off course by the wind spread out its metal claws and attached them to a nearby wall, digging them in so that it could not be so easily dislodged. The blazing light of her yellow lightsabre sliced across its chest, destroying vital circuits, then a terramancer made a gesture with her hand and the wall the droid was trying to attach itself to caved in and collapsed. As the machine tried to get up out of the rubble, she took its head.

The kick from a nearby metal demon sent her tumbling to the ground and her helmet's visor cracked, but she rolled as its brought down its mighty mace, blocked the next strike with her blade, but the third made her armour crack and her lose her sabre, feeling like someone had hit her with a hammer. But before the 'borg could finish her off, one of her battle sisters stabbed it in the back, and she quickly manifested an ice spear, driving it through the metal demon with a speed and velocity equal to a rail gun shot.

Bolter fire roared as the remaining 'borgs tried to use the Eldorai's distraction to advance forward. Kaida breathed in, but looking around she got an idea. Hand signals were made to her battle sisters. Then she focused upon the ceiling above her, specifically on a water pipe. Metal bent and twisted beneath her grip, then it suddenly exploded and water flooded out, towards the 'borgs. Unlike with the Sith minions from earlier, the flood did not push them away because they used their metal claws to dig into the ground.

However, this temporarily immobilised them and it was then that the Angelii struck. For one, the water's temperature suddenly began to drop rapidly as it was driven to freezing point. Soon ice began to spread everywhere, wrapping around their limbs. At the same time the terramancers in the small unit exerted their control over magnetism to destroy the weapons of several 'borgs or make them fire on their brethren! After all, though the 'metal demons' were Force Dead, their weapons were not! Soon laser and plasma bolts were shooting everywhere, guns were exploding. As the borgs began to break free from the ice, fire swept towards the area around them.

Area of effect thermic lance-like blasts that could melt even metal. Giving the signal, Kaida took her place in the line and the Angelii charged. As was common for them once they closed in, the Angelii broke up into pairs. One carried a Taegis shield and either a Sarix or a Sarzmigar for close-up fighting; the other stood back, using bolt pistol and their Sciiac powers. While being covered by one of her battle sisters with shield and blade, Kaida channelled her willpower into harnessing her kindred element. Frost and droplets of water manifested on her gauntlet, her own body temperature dropped to an absurd level. Then she unleashed a powerful beam of ice, which acted as the psychic equivalent of a cryoban explosion, utilising all the moisture in the air. A moment later, her ice-covered gauntlet slammed into a frozen borg's skull. Rather than break her hand, the automaton shattered as if it were made of glass instead of durasteel when the punch hit home.

Another whom she didn't know by the name of Taiden followed them in, so Kixi decided to walk alongside him as he followed the children in. She didn't mutter a word, but simply observed and made note of her surroundings.

Just what she would discover in the caverns was totally a mistery at this stage as the fresh cold air coming from deep within blew at her hair messing up her fringe. She was wearing a blue shirt sleeved shirt, black shorts and boots. Attached on her upper right leg was her lightsabre as on her utility belt on her waist she carried other utilities and didn't want to have her weapon get in her way. She figured an attack was also unlikely, but had chosen to bring her lightsabre for the possibility of the unexpected.

With reinforcements flooding into the castle the shield generator was swiftly located and disabled. The defenders could see their time was over, and so they either fled in despair, surrendered, or fought to the end.

Tempest came upon a Sith apprentice who had been wounded and was now captured. She looked up at Tempest with vacant eyes before staring back at the ground.

“Fighting in the lower levels, ma’am, Seraph Taldir is fighting against some cyborg monsters,” one of her officers said.

“Then that’s where we’re going. Get squad three and four and join me there. The rest should prepare to assault the keep. Give them some bombardment to keep their heads down.”

The Three Challenges.
From hardest to easiest!

  1. Make an invisible perimeter so not to draw attention to the site, protect people from the effects AND keep people away from it for securities sake.
  2. Deal with the farmers who owned the land reasonably.
  3. Make sure the land was fully prepared.

Droids might appear a waste but they wouldn’t be affected by the area, they could walk about freely! He didn’t say it because this was her project, everything he did was just to help her make the best go of it she could, they would go or return on her order. “No problem,” Kei grinned over, clapping his hands together in a very amadis, hands on way. “You heard the lady.” Nodding to the next lead Nikto who broke to their command tent to pass the word, breath masks, and stay away from the honey. Nikto being who they were, he knew he was going to have someone, somewhere go for its alcoholic efforts, so Amadis began assigning non Nikto to come down from fleet and double check the perimeter, to make sure it didn’t happen on any large scale.

Much to do! Local farmers, Kei was going to have to either pay for their trouble, or not inform what they were doing. His conscience wouldn't let him not inform the farmers, they were after all building a three mile perimeter now to keep this honey production under wraps as best they could.

Then there was another problem!

They couldn't build be a great big wall that gave away their position, it had to be something subtle that also kept the bee's where they wanted them. Sitting down at his planning table, for a good hour more, Kei considered planting foliage that was hard to get through, dangerous even, so it formed a natural perimeter… Yeah, these days reminded him of the AoL's complicated planning, and sitting in his command tent rubbing his temples, he cleared his mind of stress or distraction, breathing out his tension and knowing now what he had to do. It was going to be a very full day, at times like this he missed the even tones and level head of [member="Elara Wahia"] 's voice in his ear.

Deep within the fortress the battle against the cyborg monsters raged, but had turned into the Angelii's favour. As it turned out, being Force Dead was a bit less useful when your enemies specialised in elemental powers. Sure, directional telekinetic attacks did not work, but elemental fire did! As did messing around with gravity via air manipulation.

Searing flames ignited a cyborg monstrosity while Kaida protected her battle sister with her shield, then her lightsabre caught the automaton in a weak point in its neck and a second stab finished it off. Her Sciia warned the frost elf and she ducked under as a massive maul passed her head.

Another blow she turned aside, though the impact sent pain surging through her arm. While phrik armour was nice, it was not as adept at keeping blunt trauma out so it bloody hurt! Her companion tossed flame, but the 'borg seemed shielded enough and came at her again, even though it was burning.

Raising its gauntlet, it produced a hidden sonic blaster and fired. Kaida realised too late what the nature of the weapon was and, as a result, thoroughly failed at blocking it, for her troubles got her lightsabre blasted out of her hand! Ouch. Impact hurt a lot as well, as her hand felt immobilised. At least her helmet protected her eardrums and such. As she was pushed against a wall, the 'borg stormed towards her, but she rammed it with her activated shield. Its armour was shielded from electricity, which meant the electrical discharge caused by the energy shield did little...but it was standing in water.

Suddenly, there was what sounded like a cry of pain emanating from the 'borg. Most bizarre. Within moments it seemed driven to madness. Perhaps the procedure that created these beings was imperfect, perhaps a vestige of humanity had been awakened, but it began swinging its maul and firing blindly, as if having a fit. Poor thing, whoever you are, Kaida felt something like a spark of compassion, then her blade put the creature out of its misery.

The transport set down indiscriminately in the mountains of the planet. Hovering over, feet ejected from the metal carapace to clamp against cold stone. The winds were stagnate in one moment, blistering in another. Gabriel, given more and more leave within the Galactic Alliance, was searching for ways to be useful beyond his old habits. Old habits of killing and maiming and cruelty. As he stepped out onto a rocky outcropping, he wrapped his armorweave robe around his body. The guard stepped behind him, armor and rifle in hand.

"I don't imagine you'll let me walk around by myself?"
"No, not likely."

He smiled in response, nodding, as he pulled out a datapad and scrolled through reading materials provided by Jacen Voidstalker. Thumbing through the excerpts, he pressed his finger on the page for the Bubse Tree. Pulling it up, he placed a thumb against his teeth as he read about the likely locations for the tree, fruit bearing bodies, and the time of the year for fruiting. He'd need seeds if he was going to transplant any sort of population to Sullust. Of course, if the Sanctum needed some, he'd be more than happy to share.

Turning to the guard, he pointed to a change in zonation in the canopy. "Broad leaves, looks about right. We'll walk from here." The guard gave an exhale and Gabriel smiled, tucking the datapad back in his robe and trekking down the hill.
