Force Nullified Invasions

Combination of these three. They could all fit, and I love vong as the badguys. Adding in a cluster of vong controlled planets just beyond the rim of the galaxy to bring in:

Tagging on to this idea - Companion Galaxy map (Aurek or Besh) with colonial outpost mechanics.

You could add these worlds as flashpoint rewards to keep the development of them slow and meaningful.
