Question Favorite Lightsaber Color?

Purple with black core, but my first IRL lightsaber was white, so I'm rather fond of it as well.

Jasper ic is a blue lad, but writer Jasper is all about that yellow lightsaber. The temple guards are based and Plo Koon deserves his yellow lightsaber back.

Yellow has been my favorite since forever and was the color I chose for my first Jedis (Teyla) lightsaber back in... 2009? I think.

In KotOR 2 you could get Cyan and Viridian coloured Lightsabers and I loved used those as a LS character.

Yeah viridian is one of my favorites. Was also fond of the clear ones, "like the waters of the Room of a Thousand Fountains".

It's nice when there's a story reason for having a particular color, but I think I prefer it more if the color was chosen purely for aesthetic reasons, lmao. Same with Sith.

I like traditional colors, so Blue and Green for Jedi.
Sith I sometimes change the tone of red depending on the sith.
Yellow I used for Natoline.

Silver is the other color vote that i've used before.

Green is my favorite and the color most of my characters use (Sor-Jan, Shoma, Jorah, Kiriko). The original color for Zak was white, but I now write that it’s blue.

To Tefka’s point, the “lightsaber” that got the most development of any of my character’s was Boo’s amphistaff.

Jerek has always been traditional green, as a color-coded companion to his twin who used blue. When I decided not to write Elias here, he kept the green despite becoming more of an in-betweener.

I'd still like to go for a white lightsaber sometime, probably for a character for which its more symbolic (or ironic). Maybe Daiya lol

OOCly, I actually don't think I have a favorite. Crazy, I know! What's ironic is that my least favorite is blue, and blue is my favorite color!

Gwyneira would say she likes purple.

Mira would say she doesn't have a favorite. That the blade's color is unimportant in battle. But... she's partial towards white.

Red red red --- specifically Kylo Ren's model with the sparks coming off and flickering imperfections in the blade, it makes the saber look flame-like as opposed to the smooth looking "laser sword" wielded by his grandfather
