Skirmish Falling to the Earth like Black Snow [Jedi & Sith]

The sudden reversal of the enemy bike did not escape SF-3335’s notice, as she suddenly found the separation distance between her bike and that of the enemy rapidly increasing owing to the fact that she had already been moving in the same direction. For that reason, with the enemy rider having to suddenly stop, then restart his momentum in the opposite direction, the strand-cast had a large window of time to compensate and process the maneuver.

Then, there was the disappearance of the Jedi rider, which once more transpired right before her eyes.

This time, SF-3335 was wise to it, long regimens of hypno-conditioning and programming having inured her to the tactics of Force-users. Now that she was somewhat familiar with the tactics of this one in particular, there was no latency in her decision-making. The strand-cast directed a brief glance at her sensor readout and tugged on the vanes, thereby swerving the Crimson Velocity to the left while still driving the machine in reverse. Only a moment later, the flaming wreckage of the Jedi’s bike rolled past her. Then, as soon as the ruined bike was out of her sightline…

She caught sight of the Jedi. Right in front of her.

He fired first, but the bullet pinged off of the strand-cast’s energy shield, instantly draining its charge to 50% capacity. SF-3335 grunted in annoyance, but she didn’t hesitate in taking swift defensive (and retaliatory) action. On cue, a silent mental command brought her bike’s distortion matrix into play. With it came a blaring distortion of crystalline planar networks that not only warped the Crimson Velocity’s silhouette (and the silhouette of its rider), but could also cause the Jedi to fall into a senseless trance merely by gazing at it. In that, SF-3335 immediately capitalized on the distraction by unloading the magazines of her bike’s two remaining machine guns on full automatic. In the process, a salvo of 20 explosive slugs spat out from the barrels within the span of a full second, each aimed to strike the Jedi directly in his center mass from roughly 30 meters away.

SF-3335 hoped that now, with the Jedi potentially distracted and possibly rendered insane, there would be no escape from her finishing salvo.
