  • Vital Barrier - This Apsara Variant maintains the robust network of defenses seen in the previous iteration against energy weapons. Featuring gammaplast plating, armorweave, energy sinks, Integrum, and other protective systems with a small addition. The armor features a higher content of Carbon in the duraplast as well as through other applications of armor plating as a stabilizing element to provide better structure and overall resistance to incoming dangers.
  • Liquid Armor - This variant of Apsara armor sports the same robust capacity for defending the wearer against kinetic weaponry. The combination of light gammaplast plating and a shear thickening fluid layer makes the suit very effective in mitigating kinetic force and penetration, affording the wearer an excellent degree of protection against slugthrowers and other kinetic weaponry.
  • Augmented Assault - Achieved via energized and reactive polymer materials incorporated into the suit, the armor will greatly enhance the wearer's speed, strength, and athleticism, allowing the operator to wield heavier weapons with decreased encumbrance and to grapple stronger enemies.
  • Quiet as a Church Mouse - The use of a Sound Dampening Belt as the basis for a Utility Belt allows the wearer to engage in espionage and other tasks often associated with spies and lone operatives. As well as allowing the wearer to remain near completely silent, the addition of the belt dramatically bolsters the suits ability to resist Sonic based attacks when paired with materials already present.
  • Storm Dancer - A revisit of an already robust design, this version of the Apsara armor is hardened against Ion/EMP-based assaults, allowing it to be highly reliable under conditions of interference which would otherwise disable much of the armor's electronics.
  • Don't Mind The Weather - One achievement of this variant of Aspara Armor is the bolstered Elemental resistance for the wearer. While certain elements of the suit are vulnerable to a variety of weaponized elements, the body beneath the armor is readily protected from such worries.

  • Mechanical Manipulation - The sheer amount of mechanical and electronic aides within the suit make it alarmingly vulnerable to those that practice Mechu-Deru, provided that they have a clear line of sight to the suit.
  • Weaponized Glowsticks - This variant of the Apsara Armor suffers when defending the wearer from extended contact against the preferred weapons of force users. While able to resist a glancing blow at best, this variant will not suffice against lightsabers for extended durations, i.e. beyond a glancing blow.
  • Passive Reception Array - The network of passive sensors integrated into the surface of the armor and helmet will lose effectiveness as they take damage, degrading the wearer's overall awareness under continuous fire by creating blind spots in the array. While the suit is capable of protecting the wearer from weapons' fire to an extensive degree, particular weapons, such as flamethrowers, corrosives, and CryoBan projectors are especially effective in destroying the surface-integrated passive sensors.
  • Brain Shock - The Apsara's neural interface system provides an avenue which can be exploited via EMP/Ion assaults and by practitioners of Mechu-Deru or other forms of mentalism. In short, the neural interface system is a critical link to the wearer's neural system, with the possibility that EMP/Ion attacks could electrify their brain and/or cause them to pass out. In terms of Mechu-Deru and mentalism, the neural interface could be exploited as a gateway to the wearer's mind, which may leave them extremely vulnerable to psychic intrusion.
  • Disrupted - While the suit is capable of a great many things, guarding against this rather questionable form of attack is not one of them. This offers no resistance to this type of attack, aside from a painted target.
  • Backpack - This armor includes a modified fuel tank for the storage of select gas based munitions. While armored, it is still susceptible to forms of damage that might compromise the integrity of the container. Rendering it unable to dispense the contained gas, leaking contents, or erupting violently in the worse case scenario.

The Aspara Ultralight Combat Armor proved itself within the Eternal Empire to be a robust and greatly successful piece of kit for the Siren Corps. Seeing the success, Niki put forward a request for the schematics to begin working on her own variation.

While not looking to sell the item, the wonder of who might find it useful was a far flung thought.

While the original schematic is excellent for general purposes on the battlefield, especially given the high velocities the Siren Corp achieves in their tactics, the "Quiet Riot" variant of the Aspara Armor is focused almost exclusively on achieving a close-quarters means of disabling large crowds while keeping the wearer safe from harm.

Featuring a large repurposed fuel tank backpack, the new armament of the Combat-Riot Armor features Abrasive resistant gas lines that feed into gas dispersal units inside the palm of each hand. Connected via threaded mag-latches, there is little worry of the connected lines being loosened by anything short of catastrophic events.

The helmet is Self-Sealing as required to operate with the suit system, allowing for issue free vacuum use so long as nothing has been compromised and the helmet is paired with an applicable, vacuum-ready suit.

The standard suit provided is airtight but not vacuum capable. A caveat to keep the user from being subjected to their own chemical/gas munitions.

Content with the alterations, she allowed the design to be shelved before a meeting with the Mistryl Shadow Guard prompted a visit of the design. Being surprised at their willingness to explore such a tech-based item, she discovered it would largely be for special circumstances within their organization.

Leaving it at that, Niki put the suit into production for the Mistryl's.

D-Baffling removed and replaced with Sound Dampening Belt.
Added the Sound Dampening Belt to the strengths, switched Sonic resistance from Avergae to High as a result.
Both are accounted for in the strength listing.
Switched Lightsaber resistance from Low to Very Low.
Weight remains the same.
