The Eternal Queen
Much had happened, but Feena was determined to put it all behind her and start anew. First thing she was going to do was let her husband know her little secret.
Next thing, was make this the best party the CIS had ever attended. There had been much planning that went into this little event. She'd spent days just deciding on the menu, weeks on the decorations and almost as long just deciding what she would wear. Music, thankfully had been an easy thing. She simply hired a band that once played for her on Coruscant. They were small, (consisting of 2 human males, a female Rodian and a droid) but they were versatile, able to play a good range of styles. Enough to keep her guests happy, at least.
Feena walked through the ballroom once more, observing her handiwork. Sure, she hadn't exactly put up the decoration herself, but she did decide what would go where. After all, who else in the household had her level of taste?
She had hired many to help her get Dis is order for the occasion and they all scurried about here and there to please their current employer.
"Where is the chandelier?" Feena impatiently snapped, stopping in the middle of the dance floor, "I ordered it just for this occasion! Have it put up before the guests arrive!"
Checking the chronometer up on the wall, Feena bit lightly at her lip.
"I need to go get ready now. Please have this ready within the next hour."
She turned on her heel, paused and added; "And don't forget my chandelier!" before hurrying up the staircase.
Once inside the bedroom, Feena let the door slide shut behind her before she let out the breath she was holding. What a lot of stress for her, but when @[member="Keter"] suggested she throw a gala, well, how could she not? The opportunity toshow off entertain was simply too much to pass up!
She crossed the room to the bed and looked down at the gown she had laid out. Ivory, A line, with pretty little seed pearls along the edges of the sleeves. She had picked out no jewelry as of yet, wondering if perhaps jewels would be too much. As she moved the dress, she knocked the tiny sock that she had been, well, attempting to knit earlier, onto the carpet. She hadn't noticed right away, not even when she was tied herself into her dress as was sitting down to fix up her hair. She was running late already and knew that she was unlikely to be done by the time her guests started arriving.
Down below, Feena's precious Chandelier had finally been put up. With the decorating finished just in the nick of time, the hired help then moved to lay out a fine assortment of food a drink. At last, the castle was dressed up for this special event and ready to receive guests.
The Mistress of Dis had thought of everything, absolutely determined to host a night that would not soon be forgotten.
