Feena allowed her husband to escort her to the balcony where she stepped forward to look out at all those who had chosen to attend her... little party. She smiled warmly, still holding lightly onto her husbands arm and did not move or speak until enough people had noticed her up there. When the attendees had quieted down enough for her to be heard, she let go of her husbands arm and motioned for Felicity to come to her other side.

"My warmest welcome to all! It is my great pleasure to have each and every one of you here in my home tonight," she began, beaming at every face. "In times like this, it can be so easy to forget and even ignore our own needs and desires. We put duty before joy. We sacrifice it all for this cause and ask for nothing in return. But I know that during my time here, for all of my efforts, I have gained something. It is precious and entirely irreplaceable.
What i have gained, is you. All of you. I have gained friends that I will cherish for the rest of my life."

She paused in her speech, careful where she stopped and how she looked at the crowd when she did stop. It was all about making her audience feel special.

"To those who have served with me, for those who gave it their all; This night is for you."

With that, with those final words, the band began to play, the lights adjusted, flickering for a moment as the chandelier above glowed a brilliant rainbow of colors. Feena bowed her head and picked up her daughter to give her a good view... and also subtly show her off at the same time.

"Come, @[member="Keter"]," Feena called, once she decided she had let Felcity see enough from above, "Be social with me. There are many that i need to introduce you to. Both of you, really."

He chuckled. He sword he heard the lights flicker, not that he could appreciate the images. Still everyone seemed to ooh and ahh, so he nodded appreciatively. He smiled as Feena made her rather kind, hospitable, and altogether sweeping speech. She really was being nice, but there was a little pretense. He laughed slightly as he nodded to the Templar. "She's quite kind, inviting us into her home like this for the evening. Maybe later I'll get the band to play something I can samba to," he said with a grin. He didn't really mind the smell, although he was certain it'd both most force-users, he was kind of...well, used to accidentally inhaling dosese of poisonous substances. A danger of going into tomb-robbing.

He smirked. "That's a quality Vibromace. Don't see those often anymore. Even so, I have to admit, it seems like the gladiator look is a bit much for a ball, but then again, if you can dance in it, you're a more clever man than I," he said with a nod. He absentmindedly "eyed" the room with his second sight. Feena was...carrying a second life force. Oh, wow. He'd have to congratulate her. Now, wait, it'd be rude to announce that kind of thing at a party. Or would it? Why didn't she? Human were weird about this sort of thing, maybe it was a cultural thing for her? Oh, feth, how was he supposed to know this crap. He knew he should've read up on local culture before he visited her...

The Guildmaster nodded
"Sure, as nice of a party as any, I might end up pooping on their carpet, though."
He patted his mace
"I've had it for ages, and the armor, I always wear it, a personal thing of sorts, I don't often show off my real appearance."
He then motioned to the dancing floor
"But I still have killer moves on the parquet."

Kara was surprised to be addressed by the serving droid, and could only look at it for a moment. Was she being eyed for loitering at a party? She wasn’t moving, this was the only place that guaranteed she would run into a familiar face. Without this spot she would just be drifting through the party like flotsam. It was imperative that she not move. At all. Especially not towards anyplace that might have dancing. “No, I’m fine. Just waiting.”

Thankfully, before the droid could try to have her forcibly removed from the desert table a fellow Templar arrived. Kara didn’t know @[member="Veret Jun"] that well, but his face was far more familiar to her than any of the others that she’d seen so far. If it looked like she was doing something other than just standing around doing nothing then maybe the droid would leave her be for the night. “Josiah hasn’t made off with them yet. Is it mean that I want to hide them from him?”

"What he doesn't know, won't hurt him." He replied to @[member="Kara Avoyos"], a small smirk forming on his face. She was the closest thing to a friend he had here, the other Corsair's hadn't been to thrilled when he joined the Templar Order, but Jun was used to disapproval, he'd felt it all of his life. In other words he didn't give a shit. Quickly he piled a few of the cakes onto his plate and motioned for Kara to follow after him. He didn't know much about the girl, but he could've sworn she was related to Jacen Cavill.

Keter

The Renegade
@[member="Feena Mason"]

Keter just nodded and let Feena proudly display their daughter before she set the girl down and headed down towards the ballroom. It was her night, he had to keep reminding himself. "As you wish," he answered with a smile, reaching down to hold Felicity's hand as they walked with Feena to meet her guests.

Pandeima could only relax as she waited for Feena to run into her. There was very little else to do here except take drinks and reminisce.

At least Zel Medical was intact.

Feena frowned a little at her husband. My, he was being boring tonight. Was he just uncomfortable around so many people? She wasn't used to her knight being so quiet and obedient...
Feena almost had the urge to ditch him and go have fun with Felicity without him. But then she had to slow down and remind herself how short tempered a certain condition often made her. She really needed to keep herself in check here. She had to work with these people.

As Feena stepped down onto the main floor of the ballroom, she caught several familiar faces. First was @[member="Vorhi Alestrani"], whom she immediately approached with a smile.

"Thank you for coming. It is so nice to see you," she greeted, pleasant as any hostess should be, "Are you enjoying yourself?"

Vorhi looked over as Feena addressed her, and in his infinite wisdom about just about every other species but humans, he smiled warmly and nodded. "Congratulations to you both. And yes, it has been an interesting time thus far chatting with my colleagues. I believe the Guildmaster and I were just talking about how nice it is to cut loose and meet outside of work for a bit," he said with a smile. He nodded warmly to little girl beside Feena. "And who are you, young lady?" he said with a smile. He was great with kids. He never had his own, but he was often babysitting kids at school and archaeological digs. They just...liked his goofiness, he supposed.

He then smiled playfully and looked at the large blonde man beside him. "You must be Feena's husband. I want to say...Keaton?" He frowned slightly. "Sorry, it took me almost a month to get Feena's name down, and I work with her," he said with weak laugh--the kind of disarming harmlessness that kept him alive in so many negotiations. "Keter, that was it!" He said, snapping idly. "I'm Vorhi, one of the Templar's Seekers. Finding artifacts, people, that sort of thing. Sharpest eyes of any blind man in the rim, or your money back," he said with a laugh.

"Congratulations to you both."
Feena visibly winced and glanced at @[member="Keter"], hoping he didn't catch that. How foolish of her. This was a miraluka she was talking to. She of all people should have known what those 'eyes' could see in her.

"And who are you, young lady?"
She was thankful when he brought his attention to Felicity instead. The girl tilted her little honey colored head and looked up at the man. Feena had to resist giggling at how much she reminded her of Keter when she did that.
"I am Felicity Mason," the girl introduced herself, bowing, "Happy to meet you."

"You must be Feena's husband. I want to say...Keaton?"
Feena actually had to turn her head away so Keter would not see her trying her best not to laugh out loud. By the time she struggled to get herself back under control, @[member="Vorhi Alestrani"] had finished introducing himself.

Keter clasped his hands behind his back and bowed slightly, keeping a professional expression on his face. That just meant he was smiling politley as his eyes whirred and clicked. "Yes, well I'm sure Feena would have invited you to the wedding if she could have," he said, casually brushing past the man's congratulations. The blond wasn't sure what he was referring to...maybe something Feena had planned? He was going to be traveling with her and Felicity from now on after all...

It could wait. This was Feena's night. And it would be perfect. He tilted his head to one side as Vorhi finished his introduction. "Yes, Keter is my name. And it is alright. My owner or my master never bothered learning mine," he shrugged, his smile warming at the man's good humor. His wife knew how to meet interesting people, that was certain. "Well, I am sure Feena has told you all you need to know about me. Forgive me, but I am not the talented host my wife is."

@[member="Feena Mason"]

As usual with the Wayfinder of the Seekers, his arrival was both typically unconventional and subtle. Foregoing his usual highly reflective armor, the Sith Master arrived dressed in rather stylish black dress suit beneath a simple understated cloak of rich emerald green.

"Greetings, my lady," he envoked upon his host as he presented her with a small token, a bottle of rare Corellian Solo Farms red from his personal collection. "I hope you do like this, a rather robust vintage, if I should say so myself. May you always find water and shade." Ending the warm greeting with a polite bow.

Aside from the lightsabers which hung from his waist, he seemed to bear no other weapons on his person. Although from experience that could hardly mean he was unprepared for any possible threat.

"Bowser got badass, Bowser got badass-wait, does that mean I'm badass for looking a lot like him?"

Eddie said in his hijacked X-Wing while he crashed outside of the castle into a tree, clearly needing steering lessons when it comes to starships...

The Guildmaster slightly cocked his head, glancing to Vorhi
"I don't know what he's talking about, I was talking about pooping on carpets."
He took a glass of wine and a straw.
Putting the straw into the glass, he slid it through one of the dark crevices of his black helmet.
He slurped the wine slowly through the straw.

Eddie kicked open his X-wing and jumped out, then walked towards the castle "Man, those crashes are getting annoying."

Feena turned to @[member="Daxton Bane"] with a full smile. A sith, or former sith even, giving her a gift. That was a sign that she had truly done the impossible. She had taken both sides and made peace. She accepted the bottle with a little bow and gesture with her left hand over her heart.
"Thank you. Truly."

She turned her attention back to @[member="Vorhi Alestrani"], just as @[member="The Dark Templar"] spoke up.

"O-oh..." Feena resisted the urge to make a face, cleared her throat and handed her husband the gifted bottle of wine to set aside, "Well! I would so hate to interrupt such a... conversation."

She set her hand against her little daughters back and moved to usher her away.

Vorhi did his best not to crack up. "And that, my friends," he said calmly, "is why I'm a diplomat, and not a front-liner," he said with a chuckle. "Still, keep it to a low roar, Big guy. Little ones are present," he said with a non-committal shrug as he smiled warmly. "Well, that and my incredible fashion sense." After all, if a good sense of humor and a nice outfit, he wouldn't be alive right now. Maybe.

Just because he was a Sith, it did not mean he was uncivilized acknowledging the courtesy with a modest bow. "I so do hope your stomach is feeling better now that we are on planet side. Anyway it is always good to get out of the study every so often and see how the world is doing." Ignoring the sound of something crashing outside, he said, "And if I can ever be of service, you have but to tell me and I shall be there."

Kara matched Veret’s smirk, fully embracing the five-year-old prankster inside of her. Meaningless fun wasn’t really something she’d gotten to enjoy since she’d signed up with the Templars, as her hours had mostly been filled with trying not to die or training herself to not die. She wasn’t going to let an opportunity like this pass her by. Besides, people were supposed to have fun at parties weren’t they? Before she followed the other Templar away from the table, the blonde took a few moments to restock her supply of puffcakes. The serving try now only held one sad looking treat and crumbs of disappointment.

“Um…so are you enjoying the party?” She asked as they made their way to a different part of the room. It was an obligatory question, but she didn’t really know the man well enough to jump into anything deeper. They didn’t really have much training in common, she knew that much. He liked to shoot, while she favored the beating enemies over the head with her glowing blade of death. She was pretty sure that he was a crusader, like her former mentor Josiah. It was a specialization less prone to stupid decisions in the name of exploration than her own, so there was that.

With no one to talk to, Circe merely sat down in a chair, choosing to let herself stay somewhat unnoticed at @[member="Feena Mason"]'s party.

Then again, with her dark aura, was she ever really unnoticeable?
