So, pending some preliminary workings... There's going to be a disturbance on Tatooine of rather.... Grand... Proportions... And I don't mean some old guy making weird moans at Tusken Raiders... I mean a greater kryat dragon is going to get royally 'roided up by the Dark Side and Alchemy... Essentially... Ostanes is going to monkey about with some Alchemy and some rather obscure Dark Side stuff and end up in over his head... The result will be a Kryat Dragon that grows to Mythosauric proportions almost, and is quite frankly beyond his ability to slay single-handedly... He'll wind up restraining it to a certain valley, and then that is where you come in - He'll recruit you lucky writers to kill the damned thing.

Kryats are by no means an easy thing to kill, even for experienced Force Users by most sources, and so there is a challenge for us all in this. Add in what I plan to have done to it, and it will be easily the most cranky little beasty this side of a Lotek'k. In fact, it might be slightly crankier. There will be relevant shinies and other awards given out at the end of this, so in addition to a great story, you'll get something cool.

Check in if you're interested! Taking down something like this won't be a walk in the park, or something you can just solo, so please do reply with your characters specialties and abilities so I can sort you lot into 'Tank', 'Control', 'Strike/DPS' and 'Healing' and such groups and assign people, etc... And don't waltz in expecting to just smack it once on the snout and win. This is your chance to show off what your character does, and how they do it, but as well it is your chance to show you can work together towards a common goal regardless of ego.

Soft-cap on recruitment is set at 12 members. May flex depending on group. NFU's are highly encouraged.

I'm happy to work with you, but as I said in the post, I am leery of letting Apprentice ranked characters in (this thing is going to be rude, crude, and in a certain kind of mood) and even scanning your threads, i'd be worried you'd not fare well at all. If you're insistent, I won't deny you OOCly. But I really don't think you're a fit for this mission, and I can't promise you ICly that Ostanes would hire you if you showed up XD.

The apprentice tag is there because of site rules. Force sensitive people have to have that tag there and not in the signature. Patricia is an NFU for the most part, or at least fights like one. She has no idea how to use a lightsaber and her training in terms of fighting are rifles, explosives, etc etc. fought on Geonosis, Manaan, and a few other places. She can handle herself lol.

But I don't think your motives here are fitting for the vibe of this thread, and I don't know of any other way to put that. This isn't about walkers, or gadgets, or clone armies or going into it just to get some DNA you want... This is a good old fashioned Heroes Quest, a strike team of the galaxy's elite fighters going up against an abomination of the natural order and the Force itself... I don't think Patricia fits that really. Ostanes won't be fighting it for the same reason. He has no ability to contribute in combat.

Besides, you wanna be honest? This thing is going to be possessed by a Dakrside of the Force God/Spirit..... It's DNA is going to be so far beyond corrupted i'd be surprised if you could use it for anything.

That being said, if all you want is the DNA, we can talk. I just don't think you fit the role for a combatant with everything i'm reading on your character.

I completely understand the idea behind the thread and the quest to kill an evil dragon, that groovy. And no it's not about clone armies, gadgets and walkers, and to be honest with you I'm insulted that you would think that I would just bring these things along cause F it blow stuff up woo and to serve my own personal agenda. It seemed like a fun thread and I like your writing style so hey two birds one stone. But if you are that set on feeling that ny character isn't right for your thread then I can wash my hands of it and walk away. No hurt feelings at all, it's your thread and you deserve to run it your way.
