Debauchery At Best [CIS Dominion of Void Station]

"Nothing." he replied aloud after seeking out Salem, peering out the viewport that his master was gazing out of as well.

Prior to this meeting, Atretes had waved Miss Kai away and had security escort her to another section of the facility. After that, he'd received that ghostly message that just didn't sit right in his head, but the following familiar presence of [member="Salem Norongachi"] allowed him to relax and then consider what was asked. His brow had furrowed, and he'd opened up the displays and readouts. There was nothing scheduled, save the sudden flood of departing freighters and shuttles. Such a report received, he set out to relay the information to the Lord Commander. So here he was.

"Only departing vessels. Should I call an alert, Norongachi?" Rhoujen asked. He felt it skirted the proper etiquette of duty versus familiarity to refer to his mentor by his surname, rather than 'master' or 'Lord Commander'. He stared at that shining dot as it grew larger, and his right foot shifted uneasily. Something wasn't right, and his senses were telling him so.

Norongachi's eyes narrowed on the ship, it was growing larger but its speed didn't suggest anything untoward. He mulled it over for a second and then responded. "Inform the Silk Holdings transports that there may be a situation. They should either uncouple from the station or finish boarding immediately and ask docking authority to hail the ship...find out what they're doing here. In the mean time divert a squadron over there." He said to [member="Atretes Rhoujen"], while all of this was going on his hand was reaching for a com-link. His fingers found it in his suit jacket pocket and he played with it, almost nervously. If all else failed, he had her waiting just outside the system.

"Aye, sir." Rhoujen said in response, and his pocket secretary was already in his hand as he made quick work of relaying [member="Salem Norongachi"]'s orders. The Silk freighters immediately went on high alert, and what ships were most valuable detached and made an escape vector. The rest made haste on their loading of passengers and cargo before following after the first to flee. Business assets were, of course, business assets, and there would be no forgiving if the Confederacy somehow caused the loss of assets by having enemies.

Simultaneously, an escort squadron of starfighters broke away from their distanced parade through the asteroids, which made for a lovely manoeuvring exercise, and swooped in to greet the unexpected visitor. Meanwhile, the communications array towers were trying to hail the incoming vessel, but the first transmissions were rejected and the rest merely ignored. Atretes nodded, seemingly to himself, as the information that the crew of the unidentified craft was unresponsive, and so the apprentice relayed the message.

"They aren't responding. Do you think we're in trouble again?" Rhoujen asked his mentor, somewhere in between being glad that something was going to happen, and being annoyed that they seemed to always be on the firing range.

"Always make that assumption..." Norongachi counselled as he watched the ship grow ever closer. He found his gut twisting itself into knots, the formation of fighter craft ready to unleash hell upon the ship did little to dissuade it. It kept coming, like the shadow of a storm that none of them could escape.

And then...

FLASH

Somewhere beyond the fighters, behind the ship that suddenly surged to full speed, a vessel much larger and easily recognizable as a Lucreulk dropped from hyperspace. Norongachi backed up a step from the window, the fore of the frigate growing ever larger.

"Its going to ram us..." He said to himself although the com-line was still open.

A small, but authentic smile was offered to [member="Ikki Ike"]. Everyone did have their place, and the petite and exotic maid had been playing hers especially well. Tidy is good, Anesia responded telepathically. No one would suspect her of... anything. The thought amused her, never mind how deep the truth ran.

Mouth slightly ajar, a smirk still smudged as if a paste. It crumbled and before she could stop herself, Anesia said aloud, "Its going to ram us!" Both eyes widened and appeared eerily distant.

"GOOOOOOOOOO!" she yelled, reaching for Ikki to grasp the girl's top and pull. Get out of here and head to the east wing.

It was not a question, it had been a command. Anesia's eyes had bled back to a tolerant deep green, one that did not appear so... unnatural. "[member="Marek Starchaser"]," she said, turning to face him. "Move these people to safety."

That was when her neck craned so that she could set her sights on [member="Count Morcus"]. "You may want to take cover, Count and put your security on red alert." Anesia explained as if it were simple. She held her composure even though her stomach was in knots.

Salem, she warned through their shared connection.

Ikki looked up as something was coming and she took off as ordered towards the east room grabbing at the sides of her top where it had been pulled from the straps by the masters. She let her own sense of direction guide her while the force let her find a way towards it. Fingers expertly relooping the straps and then her gloves sliding on while she was looking for others as she spoke. "Understood master." Whatever was happening she wasn't liking it and drifted a hand to grab the net launcher for if a fight broke out.

Choices. Decisions. They had seconds, thirty at the most, before the powerful ion engines of the ship plowed it into the side of Void Station. The damage would be catastrophic although, thankfully, the loss of life would be that much lessened thanks to Silk Holdings mass exodus from the station.

The Transports were already moving away, he could see the illumination of hyperspace take them one by one. One less worry, he thought as his mind seeped itself in power. The monster stirred from its slumber, its maw opening wide to devour the luminous waters that spilled into the core of his being. It engorged itself, greedily drinking it in until it seemed to vibrate, the very atoms of its ethereal body threatening to be ripped apart by the barely contained power the Force granted it.

He stepped toward the window again, the transparasteel all that separated him from the void and the instrument of his demise, and laid a hand upon its cold smooth surface. The master focused, let the beast catch the scent of the frigate, let it taste its metal and then sent forth his will.

A mass of telekinetic energy broke from his palm, thin threads of power that wove and spun themselves together to form the body of his attack. It begun to take shape in his minds eye; the hand of a titan, rigid and strong, fingers flexing as it reached out to meet the front of the Frigate. They collided and Norongachi physically shook, his legs faltering beneath him before he regained his balance. He bore his teeth in exertion, his green eyes narrowing as he gave more of himself, applied more concentration into the avatar of his will.

Fingers half as long as the ship locked into place, gripping the hard metal of its hull and held tight. Push, he commanded and the titan obeyed, his mind fighting against the engines of the craft. Its speed began to lessen, its forward momentum stalled by something beyond their ken.

"You have a minute..." He said, his voice tense, into the still open com-line. "No more, get everyone out."

And where were the spiders
There was a bit of confusion. Marek wasn't sure what had gone on recently. Silk was leaving Void Station, and he wasnt sure there was a way for him to meet with the Silk representatives to work something out. And that was a shame. Silk had a lot of good products and some of his favorite people in the galaxy to work with. Maybe because, well, they were wanderers, Silk was THE wanderer company. Their ships did a lot for everyone in the galaxy and trade to the South Systems was made "Still trying to figure it all out, [member="Siara Kai"]."

Walkign with the pair of [member="Count Morcus"] and @Anesia Ju'Veun, he nodded. It was good to hear that this was all getting underway. He was familiar with the HKD platform and ability. Getting to see it more was nice, however he was pretty confident that the Count was a competent man.

Still, having the company and the planet in the Confederacy was smart

And that was when the ship showed up. Turning and reaching into the Force, reaching out for the Knights that were gathered, he was nodding. Feeling and hearing Anesia's request, he nodded. Pulling out a comlink, he made an all points call as he started heading for the hangar. He was going to need to get airborne. "All ships, Silk, Confederate, whoever, we've got company. Unidentified ship inbound. Clear the Station, clear the system. All ships, get clear." Looking to the gathered, the Count, and [member="Ikki Ike"], as well as any others. "With me."

Right, why was it wherever this government was people were trying to sabotage progress as they worked to become something better than Verd?

''The security systems are automatic, mi'lady, we should have help coming soon enough..... When I find the bastard who turned one of my own Lucrehulks on my own homestead, they'll have hell coming to their doorstep in retaliation.'', the Count said with a great deal of anger. Who had the nerve to launch an attack on his business? At any rate, he followed behind Marek closely as they escaped to the East Wing of the palace, hoping to avoid being hit by the massive Lucrehulk encroaching upon them.

And then there was Circe.

A smile crossed her lips as her shuttle moved into the station's nearest docking bay. Her Veratus-class shuttle was primed for action as she stepped out, giving [member="Count Morcus"] a general hail. "So, you're the man I hear who acquired a large portion of the New Order's naval capabilities. I'm merely here to see if any contracts for ships and the like I previously had with the New Order could potentially transferred to you. As well, I would love to build some manufacturing facilities for Subach products in your domain, both for you and for the Confederacy itself."

Atretes said nothing, but tapped two buttons on his pocket secretary and the whole station went into high alert. Fighters outside broke parade and did what they could to stop the oncoming frigate. They took out an engine, but that wasn't nearly enough to counteract the sustained inertia. Something had to be done, and Atretes was sure [member="Salem Norongachi"] couldn't hold it for long, even with his might. He tapped into his intercom and spoke a few words.

"Yes, I know, I'm staring at it."
"Yes, get the civs to safety first, what are you a child?"
"No, I won't be overseeing. Try not to shoot anyone."

With that, he tucked his device away into his jacket and looked up to the oncoming frigate. This wasn't a show of bravado, a test to prove himself, or anything of that likeness. This was him fulfilling his duty to protect the station, and those aboard. His security could handle the evacuation job well enough, he had chief matters to attend to. With an unpractised hand at large-scale things, Rhoujen gripped into the Force and brought it to heel by his command. As though it were tendrils and vines to ensnare the frigate, the apprentice tried his best to not just push the oncoming vessel away, but to grip it as well. Without experience or control, his grip slipped frequently and was uneven, the distance made him immediately feel weakened and faint, but he gritted his teeth and pressed on.

His fingers quickly began to tremble, his legs wanted to buckle but he kept himself upright if only by sheer force of will. He could feel the exertion takings its toll, but he could also see the frigate slowing by fractions of kilometres per hour, precious decimals that allowed the fighters more time to attempt to disable it, to slow it, to do something. He hoped there was some kind of backup plan to this, because he wouldn't be able to keep it up much longer, even with his nearly unbreaking will to overcome.

This was neither the time nor the place for a business transaction. "Move it, Circe," Anesia snapped, steadily eyeing the woman, "Or I'll move it for you." Surely [member="Enigma"] would understand that such a trivial matter could wait.

Seconds were flying by. Ticking away, chipping away. If she doesn't budge, [member="Ikki Ike"], put that net launcher to good use.

Sometimes that bond was a curse... just sometimes. The pain [member="Salem Norongachi"] was feeling, the fear, went way past touching her. If she ran... even if. Anesia would not make it in under a minute, not without exhausting herself and becoming a liability. Choices. Decisions. "GET. OUT." her voice boomed, terror laced in the very words as she made her way past the politicians.

That was all she said before closing her eyes. Anesia dipped into the ether, into their connection, in attempt to combine their wills or refuel his. That inky dark power sought the darkness only to envelope and carry it. The weight of it bore down on her and Anesia, through Salem, shook visibly. "Not yet," she grated out and forced her concentration to meld with the devil's own. Enforcing their power to fuse together.

Almost there. She could feel it in the marrow.

They were sharing it now, [member="Atretes Rhoujen"] as well, the weight of the great mechanical beast.

Burn it.

[member="Anesia Jy'Vun"] [member="Enigma"]

Ikki heard the order and gave a nod of her head as she stood there for a moment and slid her hands out with the gloves sliding them on and the wire spools. She was ready to get them moving and keeping everything in order while grabbing the launcher. "Yes" She moved now motioning to Circe with her head. "Come on lets get going." The dangers that were coming she wasn't liking the idea of being stuck in here with ships possibly crashing into it. She was walking and kept her face blank while resisting the urge to smile at the thought of finally using her launcher on something other then a practice dummy.

The swarming fighters buzzed around the frigate, its shields flashing and flaring as their weapons were brought to bear upon it. The ship was slowing, its momentum almost stalled when an engine exploded in silence and he felt a familiar jolt as [member="Atretes Rhoujen"] joined him in the task.

It was no disrespect upon his student that his own abilities were barely noticeable upon the frigate but he had to appreciate the desire to think bigger, to attempt the impossible, for Sigma to pit his will against a vessel of such a size. Then he felt her, the molten power of [member="Anesia Jy'Vun"], like a crimson goddess she loomed. It was an adrenaline shot to the heart, a surge of such a magnitude that it took the breath from his lungs and he fought the valiant battle of control with the creature that dwelt within, the one that would have little problem rending the ship into dead chunks of metal. The problem until now had been inertia. Even if he'd cut the ship in two, the chances of large fragments impacting the station were still high but as he refocused his mind and brought more of his will to the task, it stopped dead in the darkness.

"Hold it." He commanded to Rhoujen as he sought his communicator with his free hand. Beyond the frigate, the Lucrehulk moved. Slower by far than its smaller comrade held in their grip, but much more of a threat. He knew its belly would be full of droid fighters and bombers. More then the wing of fighters that they had brought with them could handle. "You are required." Was all he said into the com.

That feeling of energy... it was like when Sigma took over, only the presence was different and he was still in control. He felt [member="Salem Norongachi"]'s intentions rather than heard then, and using the concentrated will imbued by [member="Anesia Jy'Vun"], he took a step forward against the vessel he strained against and coiled his entire will around it. His nearly mechanical method of thought depicted mental diagrams of thrust and reverse motion, and in a lunge of the power at his disposal, he counteracted the incoming frigate's forward momentum with such a jolt that any crew aboard were surely thrown forward. After the split-second of stopping the strain began, and he felt the craft's engines testing his resolve. Sweat near instantly fell from him to the floor below, and his muscles in both the mental and physical department were put to the test. Even if this moment of struggle lasted no more than a heartbeat as his master enacted his plans, it was, to say the least, an undeniable strain.

Circe raised an eyebrow, then said "Meh" and got back on her ship, getting the hell out of there. The last thing she wanted to do was be vaporized by whatever the hell was hurtling towards the area. Death wasn't something she found fun at all - after all, dying twice reverified to her how death felt, and she wasn't one to feel that way again.

And with that, she took her leave. Discussing business could wait.

The Lucrehulk had begun its birthing. Fighter craft poured from its openings, forming up with the precision of a hive mind and surging ahead of the mothercraft. Silently, Salem Norongachi prayed as the swarm descended like a biblical plague sent to destroy them. Ten kilometers, eight kilometers...seven...six. While his eyes watched the glints of metal in the distance, his mind refocused upon the frigate. Held by Sigma, its hull now under fire from the fighters that darted around it, its shields having failed seconds before. It was time to remove the threat.

Norongachi withdrew his palm from the window he took a half step back and then raised the other out before him, interlocking more threads of his power, a twin to the titan limb that remained affixed to its surface, both made all the more powerful with the gift from [member="Anesia Jy'Vun"]. The Force was a riot then a tempest that coloured the unseen skies dark only illuminated by a flash of thunder as his will became manifest. Omega stirred, the chains he had imposed upon himself were broken, the monster that wanted little more than to rip, and tear, to bite and claw, to kill and destroy everything that lay before it was free.

His hands moved together, palms facing, slowly at first and in his mind-eye he envisioned their larger than life avatars doing the same. Telekinetic fingers curling tighter and tighter against the Frigates metal, palms bearing down upon the weakening hull. Burn it, destroy it, wipe it from existence not because its the only way, not because you have little other choice but because you can.

Palms collided with a clap, fingers interlacing in the same instant and beyond the transparasteel, the Frigate died quietly. Its hull buckling inwards, its internal bulkheads and support beams that gave its shape succumbed to his will. Flame licked out momentarily from gaping fissures in its compacted surface, mangled and bent like paper crushed between fingers. The reactor finally felt the pressure, sending a rippling nova across the ship that consumed the space immediately around the vessel as it ruptured and exploded.

Norongachi allowed himself a minute, a moment to catch himself as a wave of fatigue washed over his taxed mind. He steadied himself upon the lip of the windows edge and let out a breath, long and slow, before he cast his eyes back upwards.

Four kilometers and the Fighters would be on top of them.

Marek nodded. He could sense hte other person coming in, the one that... was she trying to sell something right now? The Corellian shook his head as he took the Count and started to leave the immediate area. Looking at the datapad he had that was active in the Station's systems, he nodded. Turning to the [member="Count Morcus"], he nodded. "You can get yourself to safety from here?" He might not be the strongest Force user, but he could damn well move things when he needed to.

Reaching out to the Force, to [member="Salem Norongachi"] and [member="Anesia Jy'Vun"], he could feel the power. That delicious, dark, intoxicating power. And with the former bending the frigate, he smiled. That was what he wanted to feel, that was the new guard of the Confederacy, with the grin on his face, he wanted more of that. He wanted to be closer. Coming in waves off of those two, that was what he needed.

This was why he was journeying the galaxy, finding the most delicious forms of power. From his Master and his mate to the people he called comrades. He really wanted to find someone who could balance out his need to feed on the Force, someone he wasn't going to drain if he let himself out and go with everything. "Do you need me?" Really, he wanted to be there, wanted to know where. How.

Norongachi felt it, a surge in his senses. The precursor to something big arriving on the field. He keyed the com-frequency for the star fighters and barked for them to form up ahead of their droid counterparts closing the distance. Affirmatives greeted him and the well trained pilots brought their crafts around and into formation.

Seconds passed. Norongachi and the CIS squadrons holding position, watching as the droids moved ever closer to attack range. The mothership in the distance coming at them as well. It was in that space, between Lucrehulk and Droid Fighters that she appeared. Larger than life, as black as the space around her.

"About damn time..." He muttered to Emah and the Hand of Fate as her flak and point-defense guns opened up on the tail end of the fighter craft. Immediately half were gone, several more damaged but others were beyond their reach. Scrambling to integrate this new factor into their flight patterns, they dodged and weaved through the explosive shrapnel the Star Destroyer sent toward them.

"Hand of Fate to all Fighters," Her voice could be heard on the military channel. "Scrap 'em!"

Long range turbolasers lanced out toward the Lucrehulk from port guns, the entire side of the ebon hull a fire show as the A.I confirmed range and distance to its target and unleashed its fury. The droid carrier had no hope of return fire, for a ship of its size it was woefully unequipped to deal with a ship so large or with such a reach. Its shields took the brunt but even as it fired the Hand of Fate was turning, bringing its daggered point to face the Lucrehulk. Now all its guns, port and starboard, had a line-of-sight. The barrage intensified.

A single probe remained in the area from Circe's brief appearance. The probe scanned the situation and kept the Sith Lady updatedon what was going on. Were any forms of warship or fighter support requested from the CIS forces. After all, she was here to help now... Again. Hopefully things wouldn't end up so badly.

Maybe she'd even see Siara Kai dead by the time this was all over.
