"Yes, no? I.." She looks around the group again, slowly taking a step back. Yeah, a lot of people, humans more often then not. The girl had forgotten during her day dreaming that there were a lot of humans in the galaxy. That her kind and theirs hardly ever got along. They were probably at war right now. Were these people here to kill her? She took another step back before turning to bolt. She was not going to be killed by these people.

Of course, that turned out to be a horrible idea. No less then three steps away from the group and a net was cast around her form, causing her to drop to the ground.

Alexandra's eyes shot to [member="Xyhn-Drez"] and the net around her, frowning and glancing at the others, checking to see if they had done it. Her hands still closed around her sabers though she did not a single thing as she sat there and waited for someone else to react to the small girl getting attacked. She was waiting for the attackers to show themselves, or to attack the rest of the group and either kill or cart them off too.

The droid simply watched through the crystals as the girl dashed away once more, and then was knocked to the ground by some unseen force.
Almost instinctively his wrist snapped as he equipped the hilt of his lightsaber, dust bursting around him in a small cloud, his grey cloak fluttering, as he shot a burst from his repulsorlifts, jumping at one of the nearby crystals.

Balancing himself on top of the crystal he would scan in the direction of the girl to assess the battlefield and any enemy positions.

With another burst, another jump, his heavy body would drop hard nearby the girl, and he would tumble into a crouch.
"Do not fear, try to calm down, stay low to the ground."
He spoke to her calmly, a metal talon extending from his free hand to try and cut one of the ropes that made up the net while he crouched nearby the girl. One talon was enough, he didn't wanted to hurt the girl.

Meanwhile, his troops stayed at their location, awaiting orders, although the Iron Knights slightly rose up their bolters, his Greycloak guards armed themselves with their own hilts and shatterpistols in their off hands.

The crystal forest would come to life as the Ulki sprang to. They came from everywhere, numerous in number, all armed with primitive steel blades. They would all let out a roar, moving right in to clash with the group. What they lacked in technology they made up in ferocity, none backing down, none hesitating.

Drez blinked at first when the net hit her. She laid on the ground, not out of fear, but practicality. The net was heavy, and more importantly she had another task to focus on. Even while the net was cut off of her her form contorted, expanding. Her skin would rip and tear, showing rotted looking bone beneath before what could only be wings ripped free from her back. They flapped once, sending her form to the skies as the rest of her skin tore away, ripped by her expanding limbs. Quickly, she floated in the sky in her true form.

frost_wyrm_by_yinyuming-d3h60be.jpg
She floated there for a moment, staring down at the Ulki. They never did stop their assault, and they certainly wouldn't. Not until one of the groups laid all slain. Such was the way of Crystalsong.

"Feth." The Valkyri growled under his breath as the girl spun around to run off. He didn't mean to scare her away or anything, he didn't even look that scary! Before he had a chance to reach out and catch her, the droid was already on point. His lightsaber hummed dimly as he sliced off several cords in the net. Everything happened in sync. Just as Lok's ears heard the familiar treading of hooves. Steel grey eyes widened as he turned to spot an enormous amount of..beasts stampeding through the crystal forest with the group directly in their path.

Without hesitation, the steel sword was already in Lok's hand. "Watch over me, Divines.." He closed his eyes for a brief moment in prayer before they snapped open. A flapping of wings and a gust of thick air to his left caught his attention as a literal dragon materialized. What the hell? Where did that thing even come from? It looked a little like a Hrothwurm, one of the creatures that had slaughtered his parents right before his own eyes. At that thought, a twinge of anger arose from deep within him as the stampede grew closer. Lok's sword wavered with the trembling of his fingers. Not trembling from fear, but from excitement. "Here I come, oh Beornskald." He said to himself, pulling his blade back in preparation for the onslaught.

Wait.

What was he doing? There was a dragon to his left, some crazy robot, and other strangers. Another double take confirmed his fears. Where was the girl? What happened to her? "The girl, where is she?" Lok asked Gherron, letting his sword drop a fraction.

Gherron never took his eyes off of the girl as she ran off, as he feared the Sith doing something to her. 'Damn', he thought. He just couldn't keep his mind off that last encounter. Still watching the child, he reached for his weapon upon hearing the sound of thundering hooves, and then completely lost all sense of reality when he saw a massive flying beast before him. hearing his padawan's question, he looked at the dragon in amazement. "Lok.... She's the dragon."

Another dragon.
For some reason dragons were a bit part of the droid's part lately, he fought two of them by now, saw a third one in action over Eriadu, fourth one he gave sanctuary to on his planet of Abregado-Rae, and now here was the fifth one. Great.

He pushed the button of his lightsaber, the white blade extending from it as he and one of the Jedi [member="Lok Jorunn"] freed the girl. With a swat of his blade he deflected a spear thrown in his direction, his lightsaber was a training one, with thicker magnetic field enveloping the plasma core, making it more of a mace rather than a sword.

As Xyhn began to rise in the air, the droid spun to the side, jumping at one of the nearby crystals and then bouncing off of it, trying to land on Xyhn's back before she rose too high.
The dragon-girl could potentially feel the weight of the droid clinging with one of his arms wrapped around her neck safely, if he would be able to catch up with her, he was pretty quick for an armored droid, he utilized that plenty in combat.

Should he be able to become a dragon-rider briefly in this one he would spoke to the girl calmly.
"Do not be angry, not at them, not at me. They fight what they do not understand, out of fear to protect their families. Do not kill. Animals and monsters kill, you are neither."
She would be able to feel auras of Light-Side emanating from the droid, especially with his saber activated, it was a special property of his training white lightsaber, it emanated an aura of the Light Side. HK also had on himself a Sigil of Hope, a gift of the Jedi Order, another artifact of Light-Sided beings. The aura emanating from them was calming, peaceful.
A few arrows came flying at them from the native Ulki and he would swat them away as well, keeping the dragon safe.

That is, if he would be able to catch up with her in the first place.

Drez herself would hover in the air, looking across the fields. She didn't even so much as notice [member="HK-36"] as he climbed over her, but when he spoke she took notice. Angry? No, she wasn't angry. The Ulki were a threat, one she could handle best as a dragon. She spoke softly, though her new form had a much darker and sinister vocalization.

"I am not angry. Just.. Arming myself?" She continued to fumble around her words, unsure on what exactly she was saying. Speaking in galatic basic was difficult for her.

Alexandra Feanor

The Lady in Silver/Grey Historian
Alexandra watched as the creatures burst from the forest and without heed drew her blades and turned to sink them into the chest of one of the things that tried to sneak up. Her hands twisted the blades in a circle before ripping them free, creating an actual hole in the creature before two more came upon her. "You want to fight?" She made herself small, waiting for them to strike and try to take her out with numbers, her feet light and the force building up in her legs as she slowly backed up, waiting for the perfect opening to these things.

HK nodded as he listened to the dragon's words,
"Good, anger is bad, focus is much better. They call me HK, the Iron Knight, I am guardian of planet of Abregado-Rae, and a cook."
He introduced himself, looking over the battlefield, he brandished his sword in the direction of the Ulki hunting party, a warning towards them.
"Could you get us lower to them? Fly above them quickly, swift like the wing, low enough for them to feel wind from beneath your wings and for dust to rise. I have a plan."
He would reach to his back, taking few gas grenades he has brought for the expedition, they were Anti-Force User grenade but they will work well in this case.

The droid's plan was to gas the immediate area with grenades, using knock-out gas to let the hunters slip into unconscious, he preferred that option over just killing them as it seemed to be Alexandra's plan.
"Also, I am not usually so forward to just climb on somebody's back, but this is a rather unique situation, and I have never rode one of your kind before, usually they try to melt or eat me."
He quipped

[member="HK-36"]

The dragon looked over her shoulder to the droid, nodding once. Her wings tucked in around them both, causing them to drop to the ground in an instant. She spiraled into a nosedive, aiming right for the center of the Ulki theme selves. To her, this was nothing extraordinary. Diving to the ground was something she would do for fun more often then not. At the last moment her wings unfolded in their torn and bony glory, causing both her and the droid to stop above the hunting party themselves. She'd glide over them quickly, leaving a very short amount of time to drop grenades, but the droid should be able to handle it, right?

"Melt..? We do not breath fire."

Valkyrian eyes gazed at the flying monstrosity with a manner of disgust. It wasn't that he found the girl's transformation hard to believe, but whatever she was must've been related to the Hrothwurms. Before he had a moment to think unspeakable acts, the roaring of incoming opponents clouded his thoughts and engulfed him in a passionate haze of excitement and anxiousness of the oncoming battle. Lok's fingers trembled against the cool metal of the sword. A gust of wind sent dust and tiny crystal fragments flying as the dragon and its new rider shot forward through the air above the charging horde. Apparently they had some sort of plan, but Lok had different ideas regarding the safety of those around him.

Stragglers of the lead element came into vision, horns and claws flashing ferociously. Lok dropped the sword to his hip and shot forward. "Death or dishonor." He panted, charging forward to come into contact with the first of many. He bellowed a war cry of sorts as one of the beasts came within ten feet of him, swinging a battleaxe in a wide arc. Lok was faster. A double step backwards sent him out of range of the weapon before he dove inwards, plunging the blade through its stomach in a quick and clean maneuver. As the monster grunted and crumpled, more of his brethren sprang forward. The Valkyri's instincts and lifelong training kicked in. A trio of attackers chipped away at his defenses, one of them even going so far as to sweep his legs out from under him.

Lok dropped to the ground with a groan, rolling away as blades struck the ground where he previously lay. "Feth." He snarled, rising quickly and batting away slashes, dropping to a knee to avoid a swing and brought up his sword to slice off the arm of one of his foes.

HK would answer to Xyhn quickly,
"Well the ones I fought sure did, they were not the same as you, however."
HK saw that Lok joined the fight against the natives, taking down a couple of the creatures,
"Do not kill them! Lives can be spared today, not wasted!"
His voice called out to those below from top of the dragon as Xyhn lowered them in a drop,

By the time she started to glide over the hunters he has activated the handful of grenades he had in his hand,
"Hold your breath!"
He quickly alerted Alex and the Jedi who would join the fight, hoping that the natives did not spoke common too well,

[member="Maria Zambrano"]
Either way, in the little window of opportunity he had, HK threw the cluster of grenades in a bit of carpet-bombing of the natives, of course it was non-lethal carpet bombing as the crystal forest was suddenly enveloped in clouds of yellow-green knock-out gas erupted from the grenades, the gas would choke into submission any who breathed it in, knocking them out over time into sleep. Efficient, but non-lethal.

OOC Note: I will also bring my own main into the thread some time soon, so don't be too confused when it happens. :p

---

The Ulki Warlord Rommakka, a simple Ulki, was the one who planned this ambush, but he would have never done that if the Supreme King of Ulki wouldn't have commanded him to do something. The ruler hadn't seen a war in a long time so he craved for blood. But of course, starting a war was not that simple. This king of Ulki seemed to be wiser than any of the previous ones and he understood, that a new huge planet-wide war would have to start with some simple battles or skirmishes and then it would have gotten bigger. This little ambush looked like a good idea, so Rommakka started with such a little fight.

As he was one of the commanders of the Ulki forces, he had brought many of his people to the fight. And indeed, it looked like they would be needed. Nàrrans weren't simple people, nor were they weak. To destroy one of these dragons, one shoudl have brought and army and it looked like this time, the condition was met.

"Ach ulkk rammara!" one of the warriors shouted. It was a typical Ulki shout.

The Warlord himself was hiding somewhere out there. He didn't show himself.

It was one of his tactics.

Some more Ulki were supposed to come and join the fight soon. They had not arrived yet, but Rommakka knew they'll come. Sitting nearly a kilometre away from the battle under a tree, hidden, the Warlord was reading the map. His strategy was simple: send the first wave, let them do their stuff, send the second way. Ulki were primitive species so they could never come up with a grand plan. It was already a lot coming from a simple member of the Ulki species.

[member="HK-36"]

The dragons massive wings would flap once, sending both her and the droid soaring back into the sky. Ulki and Nárran always had their differences, but the Ulki were always the one to go for violence. She soared high for a moment, assessing the battle itself.

"The Ulki will not simply give up. They fight till they die."

Blood. It was everywhere. Had Lok been adorned in his traditional armor, the crimson fluids on his body would have made him look even more fearsome. Sweat was dripping from his brow and blood trickled down his arms and blades, the very essence of a warrior being unleashed as beast after beast charged at him. Panting breath and bloodcurdling shouts of pain were all that his ears could decipher as he lost himself in a trance of the flow of warfare. Slash, dodge, slash, block, retreat. He followed the same series of movements as he quickly became overwhelmed after felling a monster or two. Luckily, the forest was denser in the battleground of his, funneling small numbers of the creatures in his direction.

"Uh, I'm gonna need help!" He shouted, now continuously moving backwards to keep himself distanced for a few moments in order to regain his composure.

Following up behind Lok was the sound of a low hum, and a pale blue blade stopped one of the creatures from mauling the man's back. If the valkyri turned around, he would see the face of Gherron, who nodded and Connie's to fight off hordes of beasts. "Stay with me Lok, we're better off as a team! Use this!" Gherron pulled a cylinder off of his belt and handed it to his padawan. He'd meant to give him the saber earlier, but had forgotten.

HK looked slightly down to the dragon's head,
"I do not kill anymore, I have seen enough bloodshed."

[member="Gherron Vael"], [member="Lok Jorunn"]
Seeing at the Jedi were not as peaceful as him, one of the already covered in blood of the natives, a grizzly sight that made HK doubt their true alliegance, the droid called out to them,
"Lads! Try to keep them alive, we are not here to kill the natives! Use telekinesis if you have it, try to push them back into the clouds of knock-out gas!"
He hoped the two were able to hear him as he turned back to the battlefield.

[member="Maria Zambrano"]
He scanned over the heat signatures of Ulki's first wave, the cloud of knock out gas he dropped on them should start to envelop them, and take effect, hopefully.

The droid would give a quick transmission to his troops,
"Greycloaks, move out, Iron Knights stay your position, load gas grenades, Cloaks, only hand-to-hand and flashbangs, we do not kill."
"Yessir."
His squad answered, his four droid copies would soon enough move out and join the battle, their grey cloaks flapping behind them in each movement, their face-plates hidden behind helmet-masks as they fought the hunters.
They would use their own fists mostly, knocking the Ulki out, putting them in chockholds and straggling into submission, but not death, from time to time they would toss out a flashbang here and there, its light and thunder would echo, erupting through the yellow-green gas of smoke as if it was some sort of magical storm, hopefully enough to send the Ulki back running.

HK would pat Xyhn's side to get her attention, pointing towards one of the crystal formations at the back of the battlefield,
"Do you think we can collapse one of these crystals? It should send them running if they know we can just make the whole place crash down upon them."

Valkyri didn't know any better when it came to battle. It was kill or be killed, death before dishonor. The blade streaked with blood was sheathed almost as soon as the droid had spoken louder. Right. He was going to become a Jedi. Be it war or not, bloodshed didn't always solve things. Right as he stuck the sword back into its sheath a cylindrical object flew before his eyes and landed into his hands. Lok had no idea what the thing was, but if it was a weapon, he still couldn't use it. A little clip sat on its bottom, which he quickly snapped to his utility belt before charging off into the fight.

Without armor or even gauntlets, his task was much more harder than that of the other soldiers fighting alongside him. Bare fists met matted coats of fur as he threw punch after punch, throwing down the beasts into chokeholds and keeping them away with vicious kicks. He'd learned how to fight ever since he was born, there was no way monsters could break the resolve of a born warrior.

Alexandra glanced at the others fighting and her own two assailants and smiled. "And so i bring your head to the chopper." She moved forward, dancing with their blades as the first came down which she jumped to the left of before spinning over his arms and removing his hands from their joints. Once done she landed and smiled moving a step closer and biting her blades into its neck before cutting clean through and turning towards the second who was in partial shock at what just happened.

Making the same attempt on her life he made the same mistake, expecting her to jump again he made the strike a bit too high. Her body ducked under the blade and stepped in, sending hot plasma through his midsection and cutting right through, ending him in a moment before he even had the second to think about what had happened.
