The Vena Market
Objective: 2 (Create economic ties & enjoy Vena’s reverse of isolationism)

"Market day! Market day, Befthy! Market day!" Adara Vigdis Nussyn Mantis Raxis, daughter of the Hell Wolf, hippity hoppitied along the trodden path from her sister [member="Beth Australis-Mantis"] toward the Venan Market.

"I'm gonna buy a pretty dreeeessss for Buir and a pretty haaaat for Baba and a pretty tooooy for Ram'ika and a lipsmiiiiick for yoooouuuu and and and a pretty boooooow for Sloobieboo and and a new scaaarf for ba'buir thats soft for his no-eyes and noffing for Baiko 'cause she has eeeverything she wants already and she's scary when she's maaaad." Stopping short and panting to catch her breath, the frail little girl looked up at her sister.

"Befthy? Will Mommy wear the dwess if I use my lallowlance on it? She has to, right? She has to wear it if I spend my cwedits on it." A petite frown streaked across Adara's pretty face. "If Baba made the cwedits and gave them to us for Market day, are they still Baba's?"

Adara and Beth were part of the Mandalorian vanguard of business executives, celebrants and security teams, who all arrived in shuttles and walked the short walk to the Venan City's enormous market. Delicacies from across the isolationist world tantalized the little Adara with the popping sounds of popcorn, the fragrance of meadow tarts, and moon flower buns. Music burst in the air, shifting songs from Bård's and traipsing choristers.

The Mandalorian Empire received special dispensation from the new Baroness to enter the market, bring wares, demonstrate newer security measures and hopefully break the cycle of tensions natural to the once completely isolated world.

Adara knew nothing of such isolations, being a five year old bouncing and contented child. She did, however, know the smell of baked goods.

“Yummy num nums!!!” The girl chased off from her Mandalorian protectors into the crowded market, giggling as she reached the first of many stalls.

Vena Palace, Antechamber
Objective 1: Save the Baroness of Vena. Root out Usurpers.
Allies: [member="Kaine Australis"] [member="Lilik Mantis"] [member="Ursula Vizla"]

“She’s too young, Haptos. Too young to rule.”

“The villages love her well enough, Tallu, she will survive.”

“But these…. these warriors she’s hired…” Tallu rubbed her arms with both hands, shivering against the indiscernible cold of the Royal Palace’s welcome invasion by the Mando’ade.

Hired guns, the Mandalorian Empire was called for, brought to Vena after one too many attempts on the young Baroness’ life. The cost was exorbitant, taken from the Palace treasuries with the heavy hand of a teenaged girl terrified for her own welfare.

Was it the move of a strategic mind, or a child who ill fit the coronet she wore? Mand’alor the Infernal cleared her throat, standing at the top of her considerable armoured height.

“These warriors Baroness Keya hired will keep her alive and your planet in its’ fair trade of goods. Take a care, Tallu, Haptos. Serve your Baroness, or lose your head. That is my command.” The Infernal was barely a child herself, some said, under her armour.

Yet, the Venans had few option and even less time to do it. The death threats continued, and the Yalilyr were rooting through the Palace. Yasha looked through her HUD to [member="Kaine Australis"], the wolf-helm downturned and grim, baffles on the sides of her helm condensed.

She bent on her haunches and put her gauntlet-clad hand on the wall beside a blaster bolt burn, her HUD scanners working to decipher trajectories and composition. The Baroness Keya sat cuddled on a chair in her antechamber, sipping a cup of tea.

“Kain’ik… what do you see? [member="Lilik Mantis"], the blast is still warm... Keya. What happened this time?”

"They were behind the curtain... I screamed and... and you came. They went out."

The Vena Market
Objective: 2 (Create economic ties & enjoy Vena’s reverse of isolationism)

Er'in had heard the stories of the Mandalorian Empire, and given the actions of the CIS Covert Action Groups, she had no reason to disbelieve that the freedom of planets was the freedom of death. Which made it all the more pleasantly surprising, in a twisted way, that some of the rumours at least must have been a lie - these Mandalorian's had come with all the traits of professional mercenaries, and judging by the market it appeared civilian casualties were at a minimum.

It was almost enough to distract her from her objective.

But the visions she had seen in the Mirr were clear - a dark child would be here, away from many of the forces that warred over her or protected her, and that dark child had many, many futures in which she became a rival - or even Er'in's demise.

Always in motion is the future.

Wiser words were never spoken, Master Yoda.

Seven augries, five ritual blood lettings (her blood, naturally) and one very broken nights sleep later, and here she was - and here the girl was. Er'in was still capable of feeling pity, and the almost vampiric hunger that pulled at [member="Adara Raxis"] was enough to elicit pity. She understood better now why the girl was a threat - or an advantage - and why the child would... well, never grow up normal. She wondered how the girl had become like this, the strange pull at her soul was... almost deathly, as if the dark side preserved her.

She watched as greedy hands reached out for Venan baked goods, watched the stall-keeper react with hostility without knowing why, the faint frown, the tense muscles - all of those were familiar to a woman with violet eyes in obvious Jedi or Sith robes. She wasn't concerned with secrecy - although she wore her cloak for the inevitable moment someone decided this was a territorial issue.

The concealment glamour would not fool the child, but it would fool the shopkeeper into overlooking her - she was terrible at mentalism, but sorcery had it's workarounds. She stepped up with a smile as Adara reached for the baked goods - something honeyglazed with light pastry by the looks of it, not a bad choice.

"I'll get that..." She soothed the irate stallholder. "... we'll take two." A quick glance down at the little girl, remembering her own not terribly distant childhood. "Three." She amended, offering a handful of credits.

Offering the second pastry to Adara, she smiled warmly - well, warmly if you were a child born to the dark, a Sith or had no social empathy - to everyone else it was an aristocratic, cold smile which could never reach her eyes.

"Hi." She said. "My name is Er'in, what's yours?"

Please don't be the daughter of a Mandalorian general, or something. The girl had to be Mandalorian, the visions had been clear enough of that. But was it too much to hope the Force had picked some poor farmers daughter? Maybe a mercenaries daughter?

The Vena Market
Objective 2

An armored figure racing through the market drew a few shouts of outrage from people that were jostled as he moved past. The same was the case for the man he was chasing. What was worse, the guy kept trying to shoot him! He used a barrier to absorb the shots, and then reached out to yank the gun out of his hand and into his own. It was too dangerous for him to leave it in the mans possession. This particular guy had been working for a slave ring, and not the kind that was relatively mundane. These were sex slaves, and most of them were underage.

It was a case he'd started working on while on Ylesia. From there he had ended up at the Vena Market's, working the back alleys. He'd gotten a lucky break when he spotted a new grab with a bag over her head. After securing her in a safe spot, he'd gone after the ones that had grabbed her. Of course they had split up, which had forced him to make a choice. He was one man. He couldn't catch them all on his own. He'd picked the one that had seemed like the leader.

As he chased after the man, he ran right past [member="Beth Australis-Mantis"] and [member="Adara Raxis"]. Right before [member="Erin Tenel"] approached them. He noted the darkside presences, but it didn't bother him. He wasn't going to stop what he was doing and obsess over the darkside like some Jedi would. There were more important things. Besides, the dark side didn't necessarily make them evil. He didn't subscribe to the theory that Jedi and Sith should always fight each other when they encountered each other, so why would a darkside presence give him pause?

Hi, Beth, he called to her through the Force as he continued his chase. I'll come back in a minute. Just need to catch this guy first. Will explain later.

And just like that he disappeared, chasing after the guy through the crowd. Of course she would be able to track him through the Force, but he didn't even consider that she might do that. As the man neared the end of the crowd, he ran down an alleyway and Barrien followed before focusing the Force into his legs and then leaping at the man. He crashed right into him and tackled him to the ground, pinning him beneath his mass. Naturally the guy tried to squirm and escape, but Barrien put his forearm across the back of the mans neck and pressed down.

"Stop resisting."

His other hand grabbed his pair of cuffs before he used the Force to lock the mans legs, grabbed his arms, and pulled them behind his back to cuff him. No more sex trading for this guy.

To boldly alchemize what no one alchemized before
Objective: Vena Market

Although HoldoWare's offerings are still, by and large, pretty limited, it was clear to her that, to repay those loans from the Sith Empire that allowed her to get the infrastructure built on Oorn Tchis and, of course, Gatalenta, Nar Shaddaa and Gallinore, she had to market her wares. Petria was a little concerned about how narrow her audience would be for the HoloMart and even the HoloDex to a lesser extent. Then again, she had to set up a stall and act as a street vendor of computer software and hardware. I never set foot on Oorn Tchis but I ought to at some point, she thought, while preparing the brochures and the datapad containing the catalog and the corresponding order forms for the products prior to landing on Vena. Sure, to the extent Petria was willing to be fielding preorders for the anti-infantry droideka, and taking deposits for this purpose, she had to be cautious about the number of units she needs to sell to get that model of droideka to break even, especially given the costs to get the licensure from the Colicoids to build it. The main improvement was that the droid aimed for the joints...

"Quick! Get the stall ready for us to present our products! But none of that meat from Oorn Tchis please... we're not among Colicoids here"

What a sith hole that damn world was. Just as she arrived in that place, she knew in heart, that this was one ugly and disgusting world. What the Mandalore would want with such a place, Ursula could not figure it out, but, beyond the merchants and markets, that world seemed like a good place to find some slaves to sell to the Hutts. But no slavery was allowed, although, she had hoped no one saw her in Colla IV, stealing twenty bugs to make a profitable sale for the Shell Hutts in Nar Shadda.
Fine… H3 and H4, go the nearest rooftop and cover us with your rifles.”, she explained to the droids, as they were walking down the street, straight for the palace. If that ugly thing could be called a palace. The droids immediately started moving, rushing through buildings heading the closest one to the palace itself.

“Let’s torch this place to the ground.”, Ursula growled from beneath the helmet, raising her T7 far in the air, holding the damn thing with both hands, as they arrived near the front, closed, gates. The droids raised their blaster rifles, preparing to shoot against the guards, and when they raised their own guns to do the same, that was the moment Vizla pressed the trigger with her mecha pets, firing her disruptor and their Verpine shatter rifle. And like an orchestra, the instruments made their music take full possession of the air,

Bodies fell down in the floor, growls were heard while they died. And whistling to her pets, the two droids with her approached the gate, slowly and calmly. “Ok, give them hell, boys.”, Vizla said in her helmet to the droids in the nearest rooftop, and without a single moment of hesitation, they started firing against guards inside the palace. To make them distracted for what next, as the other two droids placed thermal explosives in both doors of the gates. After they ran with Ursula to a safe place behind the walls of a tall building, the girl said to the droid with a sick pleasure in her voice. “Blow it to ashes.”, with a nod he pressed the detonator, and her hazel eyes glittered with pleasure at the majestic scene of those exploding gates.

With a short sadistic laugh, the girl ran from behind the safe cover of that wall, raising her weapon and returning to a cruel series of quick shots. Making a small run for the yard in the palace, like hell she was going to be second saving the damn baroness.

“Thank you, Australis.” Yasha nodded to her Warmaster, the man who adopted her children. In public, they were austere and professional. No one much knew what the Mand'alor's life was in private, for nobody ever saw it. A slim fiction grew, that the Infernal even slept in her armour. She had no other life. [member="Kaine Australis"] spoke of the disregard of age in the actions of a ruler. Force, violence, the use of advisors and councillors…

“Why do you call him Australis? I thought he had a full name.”

“I am Mand’alor, Keya, and he is one of my loyal Mando’ade. I call him by his Clan name to honour his Clan’s commitment to allowing my rule.”

“But you’re royalty! He has to listen to you, it’s his place.” Keya picked up her coronet and plunked it on her head, staring at the way the Warmaster moved through the room, educated others.

“There are no royals or nobles in Mandalorian society, Keya. Only hard working men and women, who do their best for the Vode. I maybe Atrisian and Panathan nobility, but my titles are meaningless dross without appropriate action… as are yours.”

Five Years Prior

“Yasha, get up. You have to move now. It has to be now…” Baiko pushed Yasha out of bed at a fevered pace, [member="Kaden Mantis"] leapt out and got dressed…

… it was the last morning he looked at her with both eyes and held her with both arms. The last morning of their lives ‘before’.

The last waking hours of Yasha Mantis, Hell Wolf before she laid aside the youth and took the Mantle. Because no one else in the Cuir Rekr survived to claim it.

Her wolf-helm’s HUD scanned the room. It was granite and fabric, no technological defences of any kind, hidden passages working in the labyrinthine domain of servant tunnels. Just a room.

A little girl’s room. Without another word, Yasha swerved on her heels and walked into one of the tunnels, pushing the rock aside with her repulser in her gauntlet. Escaping through the tunnel until they were out of earshot, Yasha leaned her back against the cold stone and shook her head.

“That girl’s not going to make it. There’s no way she’s going to survive this and still be capable of any form of leadership. Baroness Keya is going to die… probably the day we leave.” Yasha clenched both her fists in front of her chin, tapping them against the place on her helmet her mouth would have been.

“It’s like looking at a mirror… except I had a killer’s edge and she doesn’t… how badly do we want Vena?” Cocking her head to the side, Yasha’s HUD picked up a soft glow of radiation. It trailed off to the distance, further down the tunnels.

In the Palace Courtyard, three figures whispered together, two carrying oblong packages. Further down the halls, next to the throne room, two courtiers babbled about the last harvests, and the next step for… what?
Palace Guards toured the rooftop, chittering to themselves as they carried their assault rifles through their rounds.
A scream hit the air, coming from somewhere in the Palace.

Vena Market
Objective 2

Beth grabbed hold of [member="Adara Raxis"]'s hand. It didn't seem that too many people might be in the former reclusive market but she still wanted to make sure that Adara was safe and under her watchful eyes the entire time. Of course, they were still on the path. She could hear the sound of the market, though. Beth was careful to walk along with Adara's pace - especially once she began to pant. Beth gave her a small, weak smile. She knew her other tumbly was hungry, craving. She sighed. There had to be a way to help her, right?

In either, Beth carefully followed along towards the grand market as she listened to Adara speak about what she was going to buy. She had chosen not to wear armor - after all, she was here on economic ties - not war. She wore a light pink dress that covered most of her body with her hair in her typical braid around her head. The weather was near perfect. And the market was hopefully going to be full of new culture, new people, and plenty of things to buy! Beth loved learning about Alderaan fashion and often watched the various holo shows with them.

She gave a nod to little Adara, "Lipstick? What color?" She asked as she looked down. She thought about Sloobieboo, aka [member="Skorvek"]. She had seen him a couple times, primarily with Adara. He seemed to be able to help her. And he was really nice to her, too. "Yeah, sometimes its better to... Well, be careful with Baiko." She knew that all too well, in truth.

"Of course, she will! But I'll tell you a little secret, Sweet Pea. She's not going to have to wear it, she's going to wear it because you were the one that picked it out." She squeezed Adara's shoulder softly. But then, they were inside the market. The large, huge market that had fragrance, food, and... Dresses! So many dresses! Her eyes were wide and then... Barrien? Did she just see [member="Barrien Siegfried"] run past her? She perked a brow and one long ear. What in the world?

She responded back through the Force. Oooh, hi, uh... Yeah, no worries.

She hadn't been expecting Barrien to rush through but... Oh no. She looked at her hand and realized Adara was nowhere to be seen. Goddesses, where was she? Panic built inside Beth's stomach as she peered into the extremely crowded market as the world. What if somebody grabbed her? What if... She took a deep breath. She may just be with some of the other delegations. There was plenty of people that Adara knew around. With that in mind, though, she quickly began to look through the large crowds...

No luck.

Cynthia came into the room with her full HUD system running making sure to keep on top of everything here. Motion sensors had marked everyone inside the building, Ca was keeping track of every sound that the echolocation picked up and even her life form scanners was on to show anyone on the other side of a wall or someone on a different floor to her. There was no stop in her patrol following Mand'alor into the tunnel. "That may be so yasha, but don't underestimate the ability for one to adapt under grate strife." Cynthia said quietly and softly. "Remember that you was once as innocent unable to fight and that killer edge of yours was nothing but a dull knife. Through what you've been through it has moulded you into the woman you are now."

Her gun lowered as she relaxed her arms for a moment. "Look if I can ma..." The woman's head cocked around as she heard the scream. "Abnormal sound's detected." Ca said with the sound of a feminine droid voice "Clan Solus, search the building for where that scream came from. Corl, Jayda stay with the Baroness. We should probably move her so a more closed off location for right now, maybe remove any unessential staff to one location?" Her head looked back to Yasha seeing if she approved of her idea.

“Oh! Befthy! Befthy, I made a whoopsie!” Adara hopped up and down, her hair braided in two fishtail braids on either side of her ears. She flinched at the sight of the shopkeeper, and peered up at the appearance of someone else.

A presence which made her hungry rumbly tumbly growl. [member="Erin Tenel"] was not Mando’ad. Adara gasped! The lady with the glamour sorcery felt strange, like [member="Skorvek"] or Darth Carnifex, or Alvarex… unbeknownst to Adara, her hunger to fill the rumbly tumbly opened an untrained and unnatural skill. The girl drained any with dark side energies, who came near her. It was a child's paltry skill, a level barely recognizable as power at all.

“But there are pastries! And… Befthy?” Adara stepped back, clinging to the pastry Er’in offered with both sets of fingers.

“Befthy?” A gulp.

“BEFTHY!?” The more Adara called for her sister [member="Beth Australis-Mantis"], the more that seeping pull of dark side energies attempted to steal from Er’in.

“I want my sistew!” A little girl lost in the tumult of the Market began to well up with tears, until the gargantuan shadow of her Sloobieboo came upon them. “Slobbieboo! Sloobieboo, Befthy got lost! We gotta find Befthy!”

Running straight into Skorvek’s leg, Adara reached for ‘upsies’, still holding her honey bun. “T’ank you for the yummynumnums, Erin… I’s Adara Raxis, this is Sloobieboo! I ‘dopted him on a book planet and my Mommy and my Baba let me keep him! Do you know my Mommy and Baba? My Mommy is Mand’alor the Infewnal and my Baba is Warmastew [member="Kaine Australis"]! “SLOOBIEBOO!!! RAMIE AND BEFTHY ARE BOFTH LOST!! You gotta find them, Sloobieboo! You gotta find them now!”

When the gate blew up, all hell broke loose. Vizla and her droids rushed through the gate straight to the yard, making use of the high smoke and disorientation caused by the blast to start cleaning the place. It was quite a simple deed, all you needed to do was shoot everything that didn’t look mandalorian, and that was quite easy to her. Whistling everytime she turned left or right, so that the droids could cover the other side and her front, while her T7 disruptor fired against some poor son of a bantha. A horrible thing it was, to be shot with a disruptor, to have every molecule in your body twisting and bending in agonizing pain to become nothing more than a pile of ashes. A big pile of nothing, after a excruciating moment of absolute pain.

“Oy…”, Vizla called out while a poor gunslinger rushed through the wall to get someones else rifle that fell in the floor. Seeing that was almost enough to make her laugh, but, that didn’t stop his chest to find a big hole after the shoulder slugthrower turret hit his mark in the target. After shooting down what it seemed every living soul in that yard, Ursula started walking for the entrance of that bad taste cow house. Slowly holding the rifle with one gun, resting the gun near her leg, gently pressing the trigger on a body that lied in the ground after hearing his, most likely, dying breath, and don’t even minding as his body twisted and screamed as he went to oblivion.

And as she gave the first step to the doorstep, the girl listened inside her helmet as the visor warned her of movement, and then, Ursula turned back, quick as a vornskr attacked his prey, raising her arm in time to allow the shot to be absorbed by her energy cybernetic arm shield, and if that was a disruptor, she would be in serious problem, but luckily for her, it was not. But not for him, as his head was half blew up by her shoulder turret. And not worrying for a single second after that, Ursula had her fleshy lips whistle out loud, and the droids obeyed, by kicking with their metal legs against the doors of the entrance.

“Time to be a damn saviour.”, she growled for the Harbingers, slowly walking into the entrance. Smiling beneath the helmet, as she held the T7 with both hands, she had a job to do in there.

Objective: 2- Play with Adara
Allies: [member="Adara Raxis"]
Enemies: [member="Skorvek"] [member="Barrien Siegfried"] [member="Erin Tenel"] ; all of the adults, even [member="Beth Australis-Mantis"]

Everyone was sick at home. Dad, Achani, Vulip. Even his dad's strill was sick. The only ones not sick right now were Bethy and Azure. Maybe it was a force thingy why? Had to be it! That was also why mommy was taking care of them all. She takes care of people. He heard it was her job before she married dad. Seemed silly to him. She should have done something different and cool for a job instead like flying starships or being a super cool bounty hunter or a mega awesome mercenary like [member="Alkor Centaris"] ! She knew she was gonna marry dad so it was silly she didn't.... What was he doing again? Oh right! He and Bethy were on Vena with Adara and Sloobieboo.

Big sis [member="Yasha Mantis"] was doing something here with her friends. Well some of them were her friends and others were associhats of hers. Azure knew big words for his age! She didn't need his help though. He was still too young, but he was given a ultra important mission that only he could do. He was to watch all of the adults and let her know if anything bad happened. It was necessorry she said but he knew he could do more. He could fight! He has a blaster of his own and everything! But no, she made him and Adara go with Bethy into the city.... Bethy is a traitor.

They had been just walking around forever with nothing happening. It was so booooooooooooring. None of the adults did anything cool here like Mandalorian adults. There was no shooting or brawling or flying or shouting bad words that Azure was never allowed to say or mom would punish him. Why couldn't they do something fun? All they did was the normal, boring adult stuff....

Then Bethy got hit by someone running through that crowd. That was cool! Azure wanted to run too! Bethy let go of Adara and him because of it and Adara went running off. He moved to follow her a bit, but then turned around and shot Bethy in the head. That would show the traitor! All adults are lame and the enemy! He then ran off after Adara to join her. That turned out to be a bad idea though. They ran into some strange woman after Adara tried to pay for food. They were Mandalorians not on Mandalore. They should grab it and run. Raid! Was that the word? He couldn't remember.... But he knew Adara shouldn't be taking pastry from that weird woman!

Sloobiedoo showed up but instead of saving Adara from the stranger danger the doggy says it was okay! This was not right! All the adults were ruining fun and doing bad things! All the adults were the enemy! He had hung back before but with the burst of courage he leapt forward and slapped the vile pastry out of her hands!

" Aduts are the enemy! I'll save you Adara!" Azure screamed then shot at the two adults. He grabbed Adara's hand and tried to run off with her into the crowd like a super mega ultra cool Mandalorian hero!

Power was a fickle mistress, yet nobles and Sith courted it hungrily. It waxed and waned despite any effort made by those who lusted after it, sometimes to reward them, and other times to punish their notions of grandeur. Mandalorians had no desire for anything so fleeting, and that made them a mystery to outsiders. Kings and Queens, Emperors, and Senators across the Galaxy sought to befriend the Mandalorians, because having an ally with strength increased their perceived power. It lessened the chances of them losing that power.

For Her people, the prosperity and health of Mandalore came before all else. She provided them a place to call home, She had fortified them with Beskar, the fruit of Her veins, and when they fell in battle or died after a long life of toil, Her spirit welcomed them with a warm embrace. That the woman who spoke now to [member="Yasha Mantis"] did not understand was expected, but the ignorance of the culture was no excuse for disrespect. He glanced sidelong toward the behemoth from behind his T-visor and eased a finger along the trigger of his Nephilim II. He held it low and pointed toward the floor, but it could rise at a moment's notice.

While his position here was one of advisor, in actuality, Alkor was more of a guard for Yasha in the event that the negotiation soured. These royal types often disliked their opinions, and were extremely vocal about how they felt a leader should rule. Out of habit, he ignored the words as they came, and he let Mand'alor do the talking.

She was no more than a child, easily disposed of and replaced, or manipulated. This was a fragile rule, and on the precepice of shattering. Everyone else knew it.

"If she doesn't have the backing of all her people, she won't ever be able to sway them with no experience." Alkor had watched empires rise and fall, and he had seen the greatest among men and the least worthy alike ascend and crumble. This girl was lesser still than anyone who had ever sat a throne. Yasha's prediction was not simply telling, it was almost inevitable. "Rot spreads like sickness when the dead tissue isn't ripped away. If you want her to keep breathing, we have to find the people who want her dead."

He paused as a screa rippled through his audioreceptors, and his HUD matched the sound against relative timing in order to calculate the distance from its source. Alkor did not have to wait to draw a conclusion. "If they're bold enough to act while we're still here, saving her would likely be a waste of time."

She was aruteii, and whether she lived or died was of no consequence. If not for their desire for her system and its trade, they would not be here at all. The situation was far more complicated than he would have liked.

There were many conflicting opinions in the room on that matter, though.

[member="Ursula Vizla"] was already in motion within seconds, blazing a trail of gunfire into the wild blue yonder, and [member="Cynthia Solus"] offered counsel to Mand'alor alongside [member="Kaine Australis"] . Since he had already said his peace, Centaris sighed inaudibly and started moving.

"You want them dead or alive?" was all he asked.

To boldly alchemize what no one alchemized before
Objective: Vena Market

"Why did you even incorporate HoldoWare on Oorn Tchis anyway?" a prospective client asked.

"Are you insinuating that HoldoWare's presence on Oorn Tchis is just a shell holding? Or that HoldoWare was incorporated on Oorn Tchis just to take advantage of some local or faction-wide tax break?"

Understandably, locals were a little wary of outsiders even when the protectionism was repealed. Just that she had to allay some fears and to reprise her Holdo persona, that of an entrepreneur in her early-twenties from Oorn Tchis selling high-tech solutions. It was understandable that Petria may not have wanted this discussion to occur, but it was to be expected. Also, while the problems plaguing droidekas have been resolved, it has been now determined that the video-gambling machines are technically and commercially feasible, so long as they could be toggled between video-pazaak and video-sabacc. And also the jubilee wheel. But there was no brochure ready for the OmniGambler: OmniGambler casings could also be customizeable to fit a customer's needs and wants, using a set of plastoid panels that can be painted at will, to match a customer's specifications. Nevertheless, what she did know about the OmniGambler was a little limited; she desired not to say anything more about the OmniGambler than that, than the main features she feels are important to market.

"Before we discuss the matter further, I would like to know what you are after. The droidekas will be available for sale soon: we have just received word that the issues related to license-manufacturing them have been resolved, and that video-gambling machines should be underway soon"

Er'in let out a tiny gasp as [member="Adara Raxis"] pulled on the dark side, her eyes flaring and tiny, very visible motes of energy flittering towards the girl.

Er'in had dark side energy in excess, and she didn't much want the corruption, but she was reasonably certain it wouldn't do the girl any good either. Her glamour shattered like crystal, but given that an Anubian was present, her sudden focus in the eyes of the locals didn't exactly change much.

She considered getting away, but then the girl found her... bodyguard? Her... Those violet eyes flicked up to [member="Skorvek"] - she couldn't help it, he was an obvious master, likely greater than her, but her gaze still momentarily held the question 'Sloobieboo'? It was bound to offend - it would have offended her, but sometimes, she couldn't help herself.

Mandalore the In... well that made sense, and it put her in quite a lot of danger - both long term and short, danger she'd quite like to he...

*BOCK*

Um? Had that child really shot her with a small foam dart? Such matters were entirely outside of Er'in's experience. Yes, Hapan princesses played with swords and guns - but 'lets play who has the Gun of Command' is a slightly more vicious and backbiting childhood game. Yes, she could have knocked it aside with telekinesis, but... that seemed a bit unreasonable. One should take ones hits.

A full five seconds passed while the sorceress looked absolutely stunned, then a faint recollection of watching children playfight on the streets of Ryloth combined with the words of Darth Vectivus 'let not children be your undoing, even a Sith needs family'. Oh. That's what the old man meant.

She clutched her chest entirely too melodramatically, then fell over at [member="Azure Raxis"]'s feet. Well, mostly beside them, as she was quite a lot bigger than the child.

"I submit, you are victorious, my lord." She said to the small child from her position on her side. "And I am most sorry, Adara of Clan Raxis. I was impolite in my greeting to a daughter of authority. I am Pelin’a Er'in Tenel of Hapes. That makes me a princess, some days."

The Vena Market
Objective 2

The perp was not very cooperative, even after he was placed in binders. He kept trying to run, which forced Barrien to end up knocking the guy out and throw him over his shoulder. He carried him back to the spaceport and dumped him at the Jedi transport that was settled there. A few guards came to collect him, followed by a studious looking young apprentice, who seemed rather curious as he approached the Knight. The barrage of questions was imminent so he held up a hand to stave them off.

"I do not know where the others went, but you can probably back track with your camera," he said, pulling it off and handing it over. "Assuming it worked."

"It worked. I watched the whole thing."

"Good, because you're going to be in charge of finding those other two. They know what I look like now so they'll be apt to spot me coming. They don't know you."

"But-"

"No buts," Barrien said, cutting him off. "This is a learning mission. Time for you to get some experience in the field."

"Yes, Knight Barrien."

Barrien ruffled the kids hair. He would do fine. Besides, he wasn't alone out there. A couple other Jedi were tracking leads on the ring as well. It hadn't been easy for them to get permission to even land on the world. The only thing that got them down were the plea's of mothers with missing children, and the realization that a sex trafficking ring was headquartered on their planet, which he threatened to leak to the media. That wouldn't make them look very good if they were harboring that sort of organization, so they'd agreed to let him deal with it. Thankfully.

After bidding the apprentice good luck, he departed back into the city. He had spotted a friend amongst the crowd, and it had been quite some time since their last little adventure. Harrowing as it had been, he'd rather enjoyed it. Jazbina would always be an interesting memory for him. He made his way back into the crowds, feeling out for her signature. There were several Force attuned individuals on the world, which wasn't surprising since he'd brought some of them himself. He hadn't expected such a darkside presence, but as long as they weren't up to something terrible he didn't mind them, and he'd given his people strict orders to focus solely on the mission.

He spotted her up ahead, looking rather frantic. This time he got a good look at her, just as she seemed to get some good news. [member="Beth Australis-Mantis"] wasn't one to look frantic. Even in harrowing situations she seemed to be able to find humor. The dress she was wearing made her look absolutely stunning, but he didn't really think she wanted to hear that. The young girl that had been with her seemed to have disappeared. Her sister, perhaps?

"Beth art thou alright?"

"Password management systems"

"You're in luck, then. With a 512-bit encryption system, with encryption keys that randomize every hour, your passwords are safe"

The only thing about HoldoWare that is, in fact, a shell holding, is how that I am using a HoldoWare shell division for the sole purpose of remitting the tax money from the Grand Casino on the Wheel and hence using HoldoWare to launder money, and the anti-moneylaundering controls on Oorn Tchis are next to nonexistent. That, even though I have actual legitimate reasons to even want to set up the headquarters on Oorn Tchis, she thought, while realizing that, between the gross remittance from the Wheel and the net remittance, there are remittance costs. And recovery of taxes from the suppliers as part of the fiscal package designed to get new companies established on Oorn Tchis. So that, in fact, the Wheel remittance money is mixed in with the remittance of sales tax collections from customers, and that will muddy the financial waters both of the Wheel and of HoldoWare. But now that the customer's attention was distracted by the HoloDex password management system, she hoped that he would find the prices, well, fair. The brochure contained the pricing schedule...

Objective 1

He didn't even bother speaking with [member="Yasha Mantis"], [member="Kaine Australis"], [member="Cynthia Solus"], [member="Ursula Vizla"] or [member="Alkor Centaris"]. He simply saw it as a waste of time. The lot of them would bicker and fight. Meanwhile he was hunting down the head of the rebels. He watched as mandalorians from Cythnia's clan ran around like chickens. He sighed, that made his life even harder with clan solus running around. There is every chance the rebel leader moved from where they were.

Quietly moving through the vents he made it to a room. This room was supposed to be the rebel leader's room. The room looked like any other in this palace. Only thing was there were maps everywhere. It only took him seconds before him and genesis found a map with co-ordinates on it for a potenial base site. Or at least that is what it said. Wasn't long before he found a secret passage and began to follow the fools who would attack a poor defenceless princess.

it was going well so far until the little [member="Azure Raxis"] appeared and started shooting soft pellets at him adn [member="Erin Tenel"], He saw how she fell down acting as if it killed her but he didn't react in such away these where strange and new to him he had no idea if these where kid games or how to react to it so he didn't he took note of Erins title but he kept more of an eye on [member="Adara Raxis"] who was yanked away by the other child who showed up. The child didn't pose much of a threat to her yet but he kept to her as if he was her own shadow while letting [member="Beth Australis-Mantis"] know where they are and whats going on so far in the hopes she could meet up with them along the way given Adara was getting anxious in finding her but if she was enjoying herself as long as she wasn't causing trouble or getting herself hurt he had no reason to stand in the way but he will stay near just incase the other child may simply want to play or there might be another reason but for now he will follow and see what develops.
