- Lightsaber Protection - Due to the materials used to craft the field robes, the robes have an extreme defense against attacks that are brought upon it by those wielding lightsabers.
- General Protection - Including visual protection, vacuum protection and kinetic protection, this armour is designed to be as protective as possible against most things that Caden is likely to come up against.
- Neural Interface - Due to the neural interface within the field robes, most functions and subsystems can be achieved with a simple mental command, which allows for systems to be activated at the speed of thought.
- Mechu-Deru - Provided a practitioner of this skill has clear lines of sight to the field robes, they're extremely manipulable due to the presence of so much advanced technology
- Acid - Any good acid weapon will burn through this armour in seconds, causing damage and potentially even fatalities to the wearer should they not disrobe fast enough.
- Neural Interface - If the neural interface is damaged during combat, this armour becomes practically useless as it requires all of the technology and subsystems to be hand activated instead of mind activated.
- Weighty - While not exactly the heaviest armor, a wearer needs some good conditioning to be able to properly wear and use these field robes to their full potential.
Designed by Caden to be a wearable set of robes to serve him during times of combat, the field robes are crammed full of protection and advanced technology (provided by multiple sources loyal to the Silver Jedi Order, and also some that Caden just brought cause they're cool) designed to keep the wearer (namely
Caden Evesa
) safe during combat and war.The robes themselves started off as two bits of fabric but slowly more and more technology and plating was added (including some scaled fighter plating which was cut down to size and heavily padded) to increase protection and technological advantage over an opponent. Funded by Caden and Chase Enterprises, the armor was born.
Caden added a lot to it, went to a lot of sources as well as the Chase catalog (of which he has access as a very, very minority owner) to shape the direction of this armor. The result, as seen above is something at the peak of technological advancement but still balanced with enough weaknesses that you're not entirely safe.
