DESCRIPTION
The Chase Wilderness Chronometer is a particularly durable wrist chrono designed to operate in hostile environments. It is capable of operating underwater at great depths and pressure as well as in space. To accommodate the extra protection needed for its intended profile the watch is more bulky than other Chase designed devices, however this gives it a durability unmatched by any modern wrist chrono. Containing the standard holographic display and an analogue digital display designed to save power the watch has longevity in the field.

If you're lost in the wilderness or out on the town the chrono possesses an integrated navigational array capable of finding north and synchronizing with local info grids to provide your location, where such data is unavailable the unit is capable of mapping the terrain being walked by a user generating its own local map to assist in finding civilization. In addition the band of the crhonometer contains a basic medical scanner capable of reading a users vitals so they can inspect their own condition and evaluate responses. As with other Chase brand chronometers the watch contains an encrypted communications unit that doubles as an in system rescue beacon should you be stranded on a hostile planet.

Overall this wrist chrono is a welcome addition to any collection and is of the highest quality as expected of the Chase brand.
