The Brutus is a modification based on the hull of the Vindicta Picket Cruiser intended for use in a fast response or ambush role. The cruiser carries a range of weapons to deal incredible single volley damage. MBPDAs are primarily used to cut through fighter screens before delivering all torpedoes at once and ramming an enemy ship, making it excellent as a linebreaker ship to create breaches for larger Gravis Heavy Cruisers and Invictus Battlecruisers to further exploit. The light cruiser can also be used as a blockade runner, using its ram and weapons to create a gap through which it can escape.
