- Planet Name: Brosi
- Demonym: Brosian
- Region: Outer Rim Territories
- System Name: Dostra System
- System Features: Dostra Major (sun), 5 planets, 8 moons
- Location:
- Major Imports: Construction materials were once the most common import, after the razing of the planet and in the initial reconstruction. With more infrastructure in place, these imports have slowed. At present, the most commonly imported goods are luxuries desired by Brosi's citizenry. Little else is required, as the planet is abundant with means to provide for most necessities.
- Major Exports: Agricultural goods of incredible variety (food, tea, herbs & spices, etc), medicine (allopathic and alternative), a few select varieties of rare wood, raw materials such as zinzian and hfredium, as well as a variety of bio-molecules
- Unexploited Resources: This planet has resources that are not yet utilized by the population, because there are many left to be discovered
- Gravity: Standard
- Climate: Temperate, with seasonal monsoons that can consume whole continents
- Primary Terrain: Temperate rainforests dominate most of the land, there are a few sweeping mountain ranges and some grasslands as well. Rivers and lakes are abundant throughout. Two major oceans span about 45% of the planet.
- Atmosphere: Type I
LOCATION INFORMATION
- Capital City: New Shoengen
- Planetary Features: The most notable constructed features of this planet are rather secret and little known. Soon after becoming governor, A'Mia Madrona developed a new sorcerous technology that she dubbed "Altare de Campio". These altars, when constructed upon the planet in various locations, acted as strange and powerful wishing-wells. Calling upon the transformative power of death, these altars accept offerings of all manner and produce various beasts or creatures which rise in defense of the very land they were summoned from. These locations, wherever they have been built across the planet, are notable given how they work in harmony with the planet's predisposition to transmutation. Ever since the ritual to terraform Brosi, the planet almost seems to hunger. Death feeds this process, biomass added to the soil will inevitably give rise to new life in an accelerated version of a natural process. All other features or places of note can be found in the "major locations" section just below.
Brosi is primarily rural with a handful of large city centers that account for a small but robust urban blend. - Major Locations:
- New Shoengen — Capital City, a walled city with considerable defenses to guard against the wilds of Brosi but also invading forces
- Psilofyr's Cradle — Force Nexus
- Grove of the First Risen — the massive grove that Psilofyr's Cradle is hidden deep within and that is also home to the largest crown of the super organism known as Psilofyr (The Great Tree)
- Glade of the Grove Knight — a hidden meadow, abundant in the most docile of Brosi's inhabitants. This idyllic place is rich with a few crisscrossing rivers, ample fruit trees, and one edge of it boarders with clear water lake.
- Spore Industries Laboratories — The majority of these state of the art laboratories are underground and all of them are jealously guarded with cutting edge technology as well as strange, ferocious beasts
- Horuset Shipyards — Primary location is in progress, in orbit to Brosi, and an auxiliary campus has been constructed planet-side
- Sith Academy, Auxiliary Location — Friendly with both the Sith Order and the Sith Covenant, the Governor A'Mia Madrona built another campus that Sith students could receive instruction. This campus is nestled somewhere secretive amongst the Talbot Ridges
- Canon geographical locations listed in the Brosi article also remain largely unaffected or improved by cultivation
- Force Nexus: Yes
Intent: To account for a vast ritual that took place during the razing and subsequent rebirth of the planet. A group of powerful Sith sorcerers planted and bolstered a unique Sithspawn which led to the nigh miraculous terraforming of Brosi.

Nexus Name: Psilofyr's Cradle - Nexus Alignment: Dark, leaning toward Neutral
- Size: Medium — the Grove of the First Risen is a sacred place, rich with Darkness from death and decay, decomposition which gives way to new life. Nestled deep within this grove is Psilofyr's Cradle, a deep and narrow cavern torn into the earth by a great working of group sorcery.
- Strength: Moderate
- Accessibility: This nexus is fairly well hidden by a vast grove that teems with native Sithspawn of both the flora and fauna variety. It can be accessed on foot, with much effort and great risk to life or limb. Flying to this location is made nearly impossible due to thick forest and tangled underbrush.
- Effects: This nexus was born in death and fed upon it. Though it is a fairly powerful upwelling in the Force, its primary effect isn't felt by the average sentient. In truth, this nexus serves to cycle more biomass and power to the planet itself. Since the transformation of Brosi, it is as if the soil itself remembers all those who live and die upon it. This nexus serves as an active participant and supernatural "engine" that empowers Brosi by enhancing the natural cycle of death as an active part of bringing new life. Each death upon the land is energetically returned to it and transmuted into something new, sometimes even more powerful than before. This nexus also continues the work that Psilofyr started, in the continuous purification and restoration of the soil, water, and air. As such Psilofyr and this nexus live in symbiosis, creating an incredibly healthful environment for all of its inhabitants.

POPULATION
- Native Species: Few native species remain from before the razing and rebirth of Brosi. Due to the aggressive nature of the Candorian Blight, most of the terrestrial portions of the planet had to be cleansed before new life could safely take root. Becuase of this, most wildlife found on Brosi has been introduced or developed there. All sentient life has immigrated to Brosi, as none who once called this place home now live to speak of the before times.
- Immigrated Species: Clawdite and Falleen are both very common thanks to initiatives taken by Governor A'Mia Madrona. It was her intention to provide opportunities for displaced clawdites to finally have an environment they could thrive in, and she provided business incentives to falleen who brought business and workforce to her major cities. It is rumored that the primary motivator for this was her ties to Darth Caedes and Elmindra Xitaar. Humans and near humans make up about 20% of the population, most of whom are miners or other such laborers. The rest of the population is a mix of other lesser known species, primarily a variety of sentient botanicals. Thanks to the combined power of both the nexus and super organism Psilofyr, full time inhabitants of this world suffer far less illness or disease than the average galactic citizen.
- Population: Moderate
- Demographics: Estimates — Clawdite 28%, Falleen 25%, Humans/ Near-humans 20%, Various Botanicals 17%, Other 10%
- Primary Languages: Galactic Basic, Zolanese, & Falleen
- Culture: The culture here is a result of diaspora, many peoples fleeing or spreading out from their various homelands. The primary draw to live on Brosi now is either business related or for enterprising scientists who wish to make a name for themselves either working for Spore Industries or making some grand new discovery on a planet rich with biodiversity.
GOVERNMENT & ECONOMY
- Government: Scientific Technocracy
- Affiliation: Madrona A'Mia is the Governor, she rules under the jurisdiction of the Sith Holy Worlds by purview of the Sith Order
- Wealth: Average citizenry enjoys Medium, while a select few are Wealthy. The relative abundance and high quality of life for most citizens is thanks to the terraforming and natural resources which make Brosi a veritable treasure
- Stability: Medium, abundance of natural resource and the wild nature of the planet mean that life on Brosi is relatively stable for the average person but invasion from outside forces or threats from wildlife keep people ready for conflict. However, thanks to the combined power of both the nexus and super organism Psilofyr, full time inhabitants of this world suffer far less illness or disease than the average galactic citizen.
- Freedom & Oppression: Provided that citizens are productive or contributing in some way, they generally have a say in their day to day experiences. Self expression and self determination is acceptable for those members of society that have meaningful work or expertise, but it is allowable for the very young, old, or sick to be supported by their family group. Slavery is outlawed on Brosi, as it is on Korriban under King Caedes, but indentured servitude is acceptable for petty criminals or beggars.
- Military: Brosi itself primarily has ground based defenses, however it is heavily supported by surrounding Holy World's military defenses. Korriban is sister planet to Brosi both in political ties but alchemical ones. Sorcery binds these worlds intrinsically. An impressive shipyard was also constructed following the terraforming of the world. Brosi is space-faring world, soon to have a substantial navy
- Technology: Cutting edge technology is accessible to a rare few thanks to the presence of Spore Industries. The rest of the world enjoys technology at the standard average level as the rest of the galaxy
- Biodiverse Haven: Brosi was once an overly industrialized world, but it has since been transformed into a veritable paradise for numerous types of natural beast & Sithspawn, including but not limited to —
- Fear Trackers
- Spark Bugs
- Several natural varieties of Nexu, including this Sithspawn subspecies
- Screechers
- Irahi Dritis Anima Parasite
- Hoard Matriarch & their Hornet Spawn
- Suppuraters
- Desolators
- Packs of Malidrae loyal to the land and co-owners of Spore Industries, these creatures in particular roam the agricultural fields and guard entrances to the underground laboratories.
- A clan of Matrons & Surgeons have established a few hidden villages throughout the rainforests. Several colonies of Weavers and Spinners have also made their home in a few scattered locations.
- A robust population of Slipstream Adar live on Brosi and some of them are even employed in the delivery of packages between cities.
- Numerous dangerous botanical species also make their home here, including but not limited to: razor-grass, predatory carnivorous plants (assassin vines, huge pitcher plants, and so on), exploding flowers, hallucinogenic spores, numerous poisonous plants, etc. The botanical inhabitants merely grow in number and variety every year, with A'Mia's careful cultivation
- Treasure Trove of Natural Resources: Brosi now has more natural resources than before it was an over-industrialized mining planet. New resources are sure to be found in the depths of the many wilds which span the newly terraformed planet
Pre-TIC Invasion
Before the arrival of the Imperial Confederation, the planet of Brosi was just another point of progress for the Sith Order. Rich in natural resources, such as reclaimed water, Hfredium, and Zinsian, it was traditionally thought of as a "working world" dedicated to the production of staple materials needed for Star Ship construction. Because it was located so far from the capital and not terribly noteworthy, it became a scarred, bitter place and unromantic.Mostly, the labor force assumed that this was a place where dreams went to die.
Its skies were perpetually choked with ash storms and mineral haze from the result of centuries of strip-extraction and subterranean fracturing. The planet hadn't always belonged to the Sith Order, but every pair of hands it passed through seemed to use it for the same thing. Resources. The planet's crust was unstable but rich. riddled with rare ore, andalchemically reactive materials that resisted refinement elsewhere. What could not be cleanly smelted could be forced, without regard to environmental concerns.
The planet was closed off enough that few visited, save for trade and the transport of valuable materials.
During that time, Brosi had been governed through functional neglect rather than outright tyranny. There were no grand academies like Korriban, no temples, no tall spires like Jutrand, and no real draw for most noble houses to take interest, save for what it could provide. Instead, there were foul burning foundries with heavy consequences. Some living spaces nearest to these facilities even required that they become pressure-sealed habitation blocks. Deep core operations weren't typically overseen by the Order itself but by Sith-aligned industrial houses. There were no "Ore Dukes" but rather, businessmen who quietly kept trade flowing, likely while lining their pockets.
During this time period, the population also reflected this reality. It was hard work, and the easiest way to rise in the Sith Order from the lowest of the low, often, is supplication in the form of back-breaking labor or conscription. While many denizens turn toward the military, others often seek a less violent ladder to climb. Brosi's people were hardened laborers, engineers, alchemical technicians, and even contracted specialists. Some were brought in for varying projects through charters, but most were born planetside.
Life expectancy was "short" by what Core World standards might accept, but no shorter than any other planets on the Outer Rim or the Unknown Regions. Survival bred a blunt culture, practical, and unsentimental, where outsiders were often resented for romanticizing suffering without sharing it.
The presence of the Force on Brosi was there...But unfocused.
Sith did not come to meditate or to look for potential apprentices outside of a select few. Some might have taken an interest over the years for scientific purposes, but being so close to the Holy Worlds meant that it was, by and large, an afterthought. It was a backwater that held very little appeal, but the people were, for the most part, left to their own devices because they listened without question. The most important thing was that Brosi behaved. It was not rebellious; rather, a model system that did not pretend to be more than what it was. Not beautiful, not sacred...
They traded productivity for in exchange for a peaceful, continued existence. In return for cooperation and a mind-numbing work week, Brosi was defended, supplied, and kept exactly where the Sith Order wanted them to be. The people were relieved to go unnoticed when other planets were torn asunder by varying wars. That was why it was such a simple feat for the Imperials to use Brosi as a testing ground for their Candorian Blight, without anyone knowing, until it was too late.
They didn't see the planet as a hardened industrial world with a place or purpose within the Sith Order. They only saw something that could be taken by force and exploitation to fund their campaign, but not before unleashing grotesque scientific breakthroughs that rendered Brosi almost uninhabitable. It was made to become a sacrifice in a war of attrition with centuries of work, progress, and life...Lost in the blink of an eye.
That was what made the first Invasion of the Imperial Confederation unforgivable.
After the first incursion ended and the planet was cleansed of the Blight, it was
Post Invasion and Terraforming
Brosi is practically unrecognizable, now open to trade, visitors, and leading the way in cutting edge research. The population is far more diverse and, though mining operations have resumed, it is no longer the primary focus for the denizens of this planet. There are only a few cities scattered across the planet but they are well populated and even more well fortified. The majority of Brosi is rural or wild, and is home to a miraculous number of plants, animals, as well as countless Sithspawn.
It might be hard to imagine that Sith can preside over something so beautiful, something so akin to paradise. But life on Brosi? Well, it challenges that disbelief.
