TECHNICAL INFORMATION
SPECIAL FEATURES
  • One Droid Does All: These droids don't only function as nigh-on perfect infantry soldiers, but can perform well as marines, high-risk security and also police in dangerous areas. The fact that the droids are multilingual, and fully capable of learning on the job and making fully independent decisions on their own.
STRENGTHS
  • Armored Juggernaut: Heavily armored and featuring a personal shield generator, the Gar Verd is an armored juggernaut on the battlefield, capable of taking damage that would easily kill most organic soldiers and keep advancing.
  • Walking Weapons Platform: Even without a weapon in their hands, Gar Verd droids are walking weapons platforms. They are easily one of the most heavily armed infantry droids on the market, and can bring to bear weapons to counter just about any threat.
  • Combat Expertise: Gar Verd droids are programmed with extremely advanced, adaptive combat protocols and trained by the company's best before they're sent out. There are few foes that they are completely outmatched against.
  • Fly like a Jai'galaar, Bite like a Strill: Thanks to the Gar Agol CNT muscle fibre system, the Gar Verd droid is agile and dexterous as well as as extremely strong. The droid can move with startling grace and speed for something its size.
  • Multilingual, Multi-functional: These droids can function as infantry soldiers, marines, high-risk security and even police in dangerous areas. Their ability to speak multiple languages and rapidly adapt to changing circumstances makes them notably versatile.
  • Advanced Sensor, Scanner, Targeting and Communications: The Gar Verd droids are equipped with extensive, advanced, powerful sensor, scanner, targeting and communications suite. This allows the droid to stay aware of its environment, locate and track threats, engage them efficiently and keep in communication with it allies.
WEAKNESSES
  • Shield or Field Disruptor: Either the droid's shield or field disruptor can be active, not both. When gaining access to locations protected by shields, the droid becomes that much more vulnerable to damage.
  • EMP/Ion: Should any EMP/Ion damage manage to bypass the droid's considerable defenses, it is likely to cause significant and lasting damage to more than a few systems and subsystems.
  • The Force: While there's provision to install a Ysalamiri Birikad into the droid, the droid has no inherent defenses against the force.
  • Disruptors: The droid's armor provide little protection against disruptor weapons.
  • Devastating Overload: Should the reactor overload and meltdown, the resulting explosion would be nothing short of devastating, completely and utterly annihilating the droid and potentially what's around it.
  • I Don't Work For Idiots: These droids are sentient and instilled with Mandalorian values. They won't take orders from those they see as prone to making costly mistakes, or a tendency to micromanage unnecessarily. They're only loyal to those that display any kind of leadership capabilities.
  • Powerful Sensor Jamming: Powerful sensor jamming will limit the droid's abilities to make use of it's extensive sensor/scanner array. This will lower the droid's situational awareness to a noticeable degree, though the Manda tactical battlenet can help take the edge off this to an extent.
DESCRIPTION
"I. Am. Mandalorian!"
- Unidentified Gar Agol's last transmission, evacuation of Breshig.

The company's intention when they built the Gar Verd was to create the perfect infantry droid perfectly capable of putting the powerful gar'mirshe droid brain to good use in an infantry droid that could also operate as marines as well as operate as security for the company's various facilities. Each batch of droids is trained by the Strill Security's expert combat instructors who train the company's own troops and who also often train batches of Kamino's clones. This rigorous training ensures that the droids combine their extremely advanced combat capabilities, analytics, and adaptive programming with some of the best training credits can buy. The droids are notably taught the finer points of interacting with other organics, albeit by a Mandalorian trainer, who while extremely professional, many would argue lack those finer points themselves. Though for health reasons, the company warns against making too harsh a point with the droids as far as this matter is concerned.
To survive the rigors of combat condition service and to keep fighting in the face of deadly firepower and devastating melee strikes, the droid is equipped with a sturdy Stesr'gar or Phrik frame, tough composite armor, and lined with Agrinium, Thermal Gel and Duravlex. The droid's exterior is coated in anti cor coating, to mitigate the effects of acid based weapon systems that many conventional and unconventional forces use, to safeguard the droid against the acid rain found on many planets, as well as to protect the droid against acid secreted by wildlife found on many planets that the droid might see service on. To further augment this, the company's Gata'dr personal energy shield was installed, giving the droid significant ability to take fire and potentially shield allies from incoming fire should that become necessary. However, the droid can only have either its shield generator or field disruptor active at the same time.
The composite plate, it's underlying linings and frame are like many things in the galaxy are quite weak to disruptor weapons. Additionally, being a droid, should any EMP/Ion damage manage to bypass the droid's considerable defenses, it is likely to cause significant and lasting damage to more than a few systems and subsystems. Finally, while there's provision to install a Ysalamiri Birikad into the droid, the droid has no inherent defenses against the force.
Gar Verd droids are extremely heavily armed. Their chassis feature multiple modular weapon mounting points such as those on the armors produced by the company, allowing the droid's to customize their weapon loadout to fit whatever scenario or situation that they find themselves deployed in. The droids themselves are capable of using most ranged and melee weapons, though more exotic weapons are likely beyond them unless similar to those manufactured by the company or the droid is trained in the weapon's operation. Of course, thanks to their advanced learning capabilities, Gar Verd droids can use anything they can get their hands on effectively given time. Of course, even unarmed, the droid's are extremely deadly. They possess great agility, dexterity and strength with which to put their considerable abilities in Mandalorian hand-to-hand techniques and Teras Kasi.
To aid the droid's combat capabilities, Gar Verd droids are equipped with extensive, advanced, powerful sensor, scanner, targeting and communications suite. This allows the droid to stay aware of its environment, locate and track threats, engage them efficiently and keep in communication with it allies. Augmenting this is Manda battlenet module's predictive and analytical capabilities, vastly improving the droid's targeting and situational awareness. Powerful sensor jamming, however, will limit the droid's abilities to make use of it's extensive sensor/scanner array. This will lower the droid's situational awareness to a noticeable degree, though the Manda tactical battlenet can help take the edge off this to an extent.
The Gar Verd droid is powered by the company's Argu'a'ika Isotope-5. The reactor is extremely powerful, powerful enough to power all the droid's systems at once, yet compact enough that it can fit into the chassis without taking much space. The only downside is that should the the reactor overload and meltdown, the resulting explosion would be nothing short of devastating, completely and utterly annihilating the droid and possibly everything in a short radius around it. Which is a tactic that has been used by Gar Verd droids that have been surrounded and see no way out of a situation in the past.
Because of these droid's sentience and intelligence, the company doesn't sell the droids themselves, rather they put out year long contracts, after which it is the droid's choice whether they renew the contract. This does cause some problems, however. Due to their high intellect and sentience, Gar Verd droids won't take orders from those they see as prone to making costly mistakes, or a tendency to micromanage unnecessarily. They're only loyal to those that display any kind of leadership capabilities. Those buying combat droids of this caliber, however, usually won't have a problem in this regard.
Breshig War Forge is convinced that their droids represent the future in combat capable droids that can bridge the capabilities between highly capable, specially trained organic soldiers and more standard droids, while having an operating cost somewhere in-between.
