Description: The Black Sun Syndicate is a criminal organization rising from the heart of Hutt Space with a singular goal: conquest from the shadows. Formed from members of the dissolved Hutt Space Consortium, local crime lords, pirate fleets, slicer cells, and slaving guilds, the Black Sun of 902 ABY is a powerful force to reckon with. Its influence drapes over the Mid and Outer Rim like a silken sheet, heavy enough to notice but easily overlooked amidst the galaxy's never-ending stream of crises and turmoil. It is within this chaotic turbulence that Black Sun thrives, feeding on the fears, uncertainties, and paranoias of neutral systems. Anyone can be a member of Black Sun, from lowlife street rats and gangsters to CEOs of interstellar corporations and senators.

The Pitch: We believe that Black Sun deserves to attain major faction status because we represent an incredibly pivotal piece of the Star Wars universe that is often taken for granted. The Underworld has influenced countless wars, governments, and galactic events across canon and Legends Star Wars media, and we feel that the Black Sun Syndicate is the perfect faction to bring that same gravity to Chaos in a way that hasn't been felt in quite some time.

With Zark and Patton this would be a slam dunk for me to vote yes to but which brain dead advisor promoted Vreegan, the guy who literally abandoned the Mandos (and caused them to capitulate) not like a month ago, to an Admin of this project.

I support any player's agency and if they're not having fun, yeah, step down. But promoting them to a leadership position of a project not a month later is a REALLY bad look.

I understand that I made a mistake in assuming the leadership of the Mandalorian Neo-Crusaders and then stepping down when time was no longer convenient for me. I let that Faction down considerably and apologize to all of its members who were looking forward to continuing the stories.

All I'm asking is a chance to be better than before. But if my presence is getting in the way of the Black Sun's approval then I will revert to becoming just a member.

Sort of a disingenuous approach that doesn't consider the context of the whole NEO situation.

We all know it was hardly Vreegan/Trade who abandoned and sent the faction down. He took it over whilst it was on a course that was more or less irreversible, he tried to right the ship, acknowledged he couldn't and let someone else try and take the reins. It was hardly a 'Vreegan' issue and more of an 'NEO' issue. It was on no part his or the NEO writers fault and this is hardly the first time its occurred and not really fair grounds to DENY a major faction app over imo assuming that's the implication of the reply.

Let it ride. Worst case you get another Tefka 'I told you so' moment (you knoooow you love those), best case all is well.
