STRENGTHS
- + Disciplined - Xazzex is not only disciplined as is expected of all Falleen, but as unflappable as a green puppet in a trench coat. Mostly because she can't be bothered to care about your nonsense.
- + Status & Wealth - Noble born, second in line to as heir to the family, well educated and with all the social expectations that come with it.
- + Pheromones - Falleen have extraordinarily potent pheremones able to swiftly captivate the senses of certain other species. They have been reported as being strong enough to have others fall instantly and madly in "love" with them. Good thing for you, Xazzex finds having alien puppies hounding her every second far more trouble than it's worth.
- + Physiology - With a sleek symmetry to their features, facial and spinal ridges, and exotic skintones Falleen often attract notice even without the influence of their pheromones. They're also able to breathe underwater for a long period of time, and are naturally resistant to mind tricks.
- + Combat Trained - Burdened with social responsibilities, some expect a noble Falleen to be too pampered to put up much of a fight. Xazzex, however, learned how to defend herself -- kill if necessary. Assassination was looked down upon in proper dealings, but only an idiot expected your enemy to play fair.
- - Cold-Blooded (Literally) - As a cold-blooded species she is susceptible to extreme or rapid-changing temperatures.
- - Cavalier Attitude - Xazzex is quite well-mannered and has been expertly trained in etiquette. That said, more often than not you'll find her attention elsewhere no matter how emotional and well-thought-out your monologue is.
- - Sharp Tongue - She enjoys hanging out with others much as the next woman, but if Xazzex doesn't know you or you get on her bad side you might end up on the wrong end of a verbal tongue lashing -- even if that's as succinct as a single word.
- - Reputation (Species) - Anyone that knows anything about the Falleen might be wary when it comes to the thought of becoming someone's unwitting slave because of the pheromones. Their icy or haughty disposition especially toward aliens doesn't scream friend-material either.
- - Inexperienced - Despite how she passes herself off -- using education, intellect, and intuition to make up for her shortcoming in experience -- Xazzex is still quite young. A lack of real-world, hard-knock exposure can leave her at a disadvantage.
While relatively small by most Human standards, Xazzax is tall among Falleen. She stands upright with her shoulders back, though with a bit of a slope rather than the pose of an angular brute. Her mottled green skin and ridged brown and cheeks, and long black hair are what most have come to picture of a typical Falleen.
BIOGRAPHY
Noble by birth, Xaz is a fervent believer in the strength of her homeworld and its ability to survive without the Confederacy. However, as it was left to Old Scales to sign away their independence, and breaking away from the so-called 'Dark Lords' would be quite brutal, she's prepared to play with the cards she has been dealt. To bide her time until their collective hand changes in their favor.
What most might find peculiar about the duty-bound Falleen isn't so much her appearance -- as most are taken to that of any of her species -- but of her demeanor. When Xaz chooses she can be a 'proper' Viceroy with a stately pose. However, more often than not most offworlders aren't worth her time; they'd more apt to be outright ignored unless they have something worthwhile to hear or barter. That is publicly, anyway.
In private, Xaz is willing to negotiate even with those given a cold shoulder in public. She believes in acquiring only the best for her homeworld and bolstering its strength. There is no reason to rely on the Confederacy to be there to safeguard them from their enemies -- no reason to grow fat and complacent. A matter she ensures even the leaders back home adopt in their everyday dealings. Despite her youth, Xaz has made many connections with rich and powerful people alike on her world; people that can apply the right pressure when a situation calls for it to make rogue elements excise their selves before they become excised.
