Zayah is a resilient and tenacious individual who has made her bones growing up from nothing to where she was. Everything she's learned or gained she has achieved through her own hands, never letting herself become a victim of circumstance. A firm believer in carving out her own destiny, Zayah commits to whatever she puts her mind to, and there is no obstacle that can be put between her and her goal once she has set her heart and mind to it. She is ruthless in her endeavors but in stark contrast, very calm and relaxed when not pursuing anything.​

Zayah is a skilled brawler and hand-to-hand specialist, having learned a number of street fighting techniques growing up. As she grew older and more renowned, she took on more developed and refined fighting styles to supplement her arsenal of fighting styles. She enjoys getting close and personal with her opponents if it ever came to blows, having hidden cybernetics and augmentations concealed beneath fake skin, allowing her to deal surprising damage as well as take significant blows herself in a battle of attrition. For encounters where she intends to kill, she sports her vibro claws to rip and tear through her enemies.​

Zayah grew up in the criminal underbelly of Coruscant, clawing and fighting her way up from its rancid depths to carve out a name and reputation for herself. In doing so she has become a fearsome brawler who is more than happy to go toe to toe with anyone in an exchange of fists and is no stranger to cracking skulls. By the time she reached adulthood, she's learned more refined fighting styles such as Teräs Käsi in addition to traditional street brawling to supplement her fighting skills.​

Zayah's loyalty is typically given to the highest bidder or to those who would benefit her best. She adheres to no particular set of ideologies or motives other than her own well-being as well as that of her crew. So long as the pay is good, her neck isn't on the line and she gets a good kick of adrenaline out of the ordeal, she's a loyal​

Zayah's tenacity is something to be both admired and feared. Just when it seems like they've taken a beating that would put some down for good, they manage to get back up. This resilience extends to her day to day, showing that Zayah is equal to any task she is presented with. Beneath her rather normal exterior lies a number of cybernetic augmentations, designed to improve strength, durability, speed, and reflexes, all plated in extremely durable Phrik to allow her to take a beating as well as combat any saber-wielding opponents. Synthetic flesh covers all of her cybernetics to make her appear a rather normal and unremarkable Echani.​

Perhaps not the most ideal situation for many people in her position to be in, but Zayah is old-fashioned in the sense that she personally likes to oversee any and all business dealings with potentially valuable clients, as well as personally deal with those who wrong her. This has gotten her into a fair share of sticky and messy situations, but she somehow manages to always come out of them alive; whether or not it's unscathed or not is an entirely different matter.​
