  • Organization Name: Aris-Shelr, the Skin Shapers
  • Classification: Yuuzhan Vong Shapers
  • Affiliation: The Sith Empire, The Kainate
  • Organization Symbol: The Aris-Shelr utilized no specific symbol to identify themselves, though they often associated themselves with glyphs in the Yuuzhan Vong language that were closely connected to their work.
  • Description: Loyalists to the Sith, the Aris-Shelr were fully committed to the Sith's vision for a galaxy united under the banner of the Dark Side. Inspired by the Sith's proclivity for unethical scientific experimentation, the Aris-Shelr have no qualms about furthering their knowledge of biotechnology through any means necessary. A cabal of Master Shapers led the Aris-Shelr, overseen by a single Supreme Shaper who guiding them further into the depths of depravity in their reverence of pain and suffering. Extremists of unmitigated expression, the Shapers will go to any lengths to achieve their macabre wishes.

The Aris-Shelr was primarily based on the organic dreadnought Wo Derriphan, the nucleus around which their mobile fleet of organic warships was centered. They scour the galaxy for new test subjects, extorting entire star systems with their wicked living weaponry to take what they want. Though they occasionally leave fixed enclaves on worlds amenable to their experiments, the Aris-Shelr do not believe in staying in one place for too long.

  • Headquarters: Wo Derriphan, the One Devourer
  • Domain: The Aris-Shelr maintains a network of hidden enclaves throughout the galaxy, usually far away from population centers and the prying eyes of local governments. Most of these are underground, such as deep within natural cave systems or in the derelict underbelly of a city's sewer system.
  • Notable Assets: The Aris-Shelr breed and cultivate their own biotechnology in specialized pools and creches, utilizing hundreds of generations of accumulated knowledge passed down from their ancestors who once roamed the intergalactic void of space. Movement through space was conducted on large organic ships.

  • Hierarchy:
    • Sarava'uca-Shelr (Supreme Shaper)
    • Groth-Shelr (Master Shaper)
    • Kuśala-Shelr (Adept Shaper)
    • Arabha'karō-Shelr (Initiate Shaper)
    • Fodduj (Fodder)
  • Membership: Membership was only applicable to the Yuuzhan Vong, who, from birth to death, spent the majority of their entire life on the organic ships of the living fleet. The Aris-Shelr did employ non-Yuuzhan Vong in a servant capacity. These servants, known as fodder, were augmented with Yuuzhan Vong biotechnology through organ grafting.
  • Climate: Fanatical devotion to the True Way was prevalent throughout the Aris-Shelr. Though they venerated all of the Yuuzhan Vong gods in some manner, they were particularly reverent of Yun-Ne'Shel, She-Who-Shapes. Described as the Goddess of Life, the shapers revered her above all others because she inspired all biotechnology in the universe. Despite the fact that sacrifice was not often involved in her veneration in the past, the Aris-Shelr grew fanatical in their devotion and became dependent on routine sacrifices in her name.
  • Reputation: The Aris-Shelr was a virtually unknown entity in the galaxy, operating solely from the shadows and away from the public eye of the galactic consciousness. They were mainly spoken about in fearful whispers, phantoms who rode in living ships of slashing claws and gnashing teeth that descended upon the most isolated regions of the galaxy and disappeared like smoke.
  • Curios: The members of Aris-Shelr wore form-fitting oozhiths, living clothes, and special shaper headdresses. Master Shapers replaced either one or both of their hands with shaper hands and were implanted with vaa-tumors in their brain.
  • Rules: The restrictions of the shapers were generally applied to inflicting deadly harm against one another, an act which was considered despicable and punishable by exile from the Aris-Shelr. Other infractions against the shapers were punishable by ritual purification in the form of painful torture.
  • Goals:
    • Further Their Knowledge
    • Serve The Sith

When the One Sith emerged from the darkness of the galaxy's center, they brought with them terrible fire and destruction across the Core Worlds and Mid Rim from Coruscant to Kashyyyk. They were not alone in their terror, for they had assembled a vast number of evil and villainous organizations to their side during their rapid expanse from the unholy world of Prakith, chief among them were the Hrosha-Gul.
The Hrosha-Gul, a name which meant Price of Pain, was a fanatical legion of Yuuzhan Vong who sought to set the galaxy ablaze and carve out their own empire to finish what their predecessors had started centuries ago. They allied with the One Sith to help carry out this task, but tensions soon grew between the two organizations eventually exploding into civil war during the height of the Sith's war with the Republic.
In the end, the flames of rebellion were snuffed out and the Hrosha-Gul broken. What arose from them was the Legion Yun'Do, the Legion of God's Woe, the last remaining contingent of Yuuzhan Vong loyalists in the One Sith Empire. Led by the enigmatic Reverance, they continued to fight alongside the One Sith well up until the collapse of their Empire following the re-occupation of Coruscant by the Jedi and allied forces.
The Yun'Do split from the Sith, disappearing into the galaxy to forge their own destiny. Those that remained behind, chiefly Yuuzhan Vong Shapers, stayed loyal with the Sith remnants and formed the Aris-Shelr, the Skin Shapers. These Yuuzhan Vong found themselves gravitating towards the new Dark Lord of the Sith, Darth Carnifex, as he helped form a new Sith Empire in the Outer Rim. For their loyalty, they were gifted the bleak world of Helska IV to conduct their experiments.
At the onset of the Third Imperial Civil War, the Aris-Shelr were relocated from Helska IV to the living dreadnought Wo Derriphan. Breeding their own organic fleet, the Aris-Shelr disappeared into the galaxy at the command of Darth Carnifex.

Solid submission right here. Just a few things:

  • Classification: Yuuzhan Vong Shapers

I see you have the Shapers linked previously, but could we get a link for the Yuuzhan Vong themselves for easy access too?

  • Thresh Zul - Supreme Shaper

If there's a link to be had for Thresh, too, that'd be splendid.

More link stuff. In this case, the One Sith if it's available. And then Coruscant, Kashyyk, and Prakith.

Alright, last segment of link requests. This time for Reverance, Helska IV, and Darth Carnifex (character bios would suffice just fine for the names). Other than getting those links set up for easy reference, you should be golden.
