Lori took in a deep breath as she entered the wheel hub filled with guests and musicians. It wasn't a huge wedding by far, nor was it anything that some Royal Wedding should be. Ever the goofball, she chose a theme park for her wedding venue. Much of her time was spent fighting the Eternal Empire, and more often than not, she resided in her ship. So in this way she was able to have a bit of fun on a planet that she had only just learned that her and her twin brother had inherited.

So yes, she was a Queen. But she sure wasn't going to act like one. It felt like another lifetime ago when she was a Princess of Commenor. And even back then, Caedyn and herself weren't really treated any differently than any other citizen. Here on Mnemosyne, there wasn't even a castle for them to live in or rule from. Their parents had a modest house of which Lori didn't even choose to move in to. She felt that it was too dangerous for her enemies to know wherever it is that she'd really call home. So her ship was the better alternative. Maybe after her fighting was finished, she could settle down.

But that is if she didn't die first.

Lori let out her breath, wishing that her parents were here to witness such a bizarre turn of events. She was getting married, of all things. It was in her mind that Caedyn would be the first of the twins to do so. But the future is always unpredictable. And in this case it certainly was. Lori loved Curtis dearly and together they formed a Force Bond much like her parents did. Even when they were apart, she knew that she had his support. Even here where she did her best not to faint, given that so many eyes were upon her. This was more nerve wracking than it was being on the holonet interviewed by Salacious Rafford . At least there she was amongst a bunch of strangers. Now she was with people that she knew and with extended family members that she had yet to talk to for the first time.

This was going to be weird. Hopefully she didn't trip over her dress as she walked to where Curtis and the Minister stood. At least she had Caedyn to hold onto. She wanted him to walk her down in place of their Dad. He was her twin and they would always have eachother's back.

Always.

Caedyn Arenais wasn't exactly the type to dress up in a suit and tye, at least not if it could be avoided; Yet here today, he imagined he could now relate to how Veiere Arenais must have felt while attending all those political meetings all the while never having wanted to be a political figure all fancied up in such a way. Unfortunately for Caedyn, if there was ever an occasion it was to be this one. His Sister's wedding!

Standing beside Loreena Arenais-Valhoun Loreena Arenais-Valhoun as they entered the room and readied themselves for the ceremony to begin, Caedyn took in a quiet yet deep breath. He felt both nervous for himself but also for his Sister whom he may have been responding to, and sharing her own emotions for the day. Naturally, he was proud of her, and when she had asked him to be the one to walk her down the aisle to her Husband-to-be, he was honoured to heartily agree. Especially as they were all they had left. Or so they thought. Their parents certainly weren't around to see the day come to fruition, that was for certain.

"Slow and deep breathes..." Caedyn whispered to Loreena, a smile playing across his lips as he glanced her way and tried to encourage her to calm a little; "This is a good day" he reminded her. Were there anything to go wrong, he believed it'd have done so long before his Sister's actual Wedding day. Of course, there was always the potential upset, yet Mnemosyne was a piece of the Arenais Estate that had been kept a secret from the Galaxy. People knew of the world, naturally, yet not of the connection between it and their parents having established the current body of government, nor having been the constitutional monarchy there.

"You'll have to lend me the broker you used for all these friends of yours too by the way...-I may need to rent some of my own should I ever get married one day" he joked, trying to lighten the moment and distract Loreena from her nerves.

Rowena arrived in a ruby gown that befitted a woman of her status. Right now she was a Lady of House Arenais, but soon she was to be much more than that. With the marriage of her daughter Saraya Arenais Saraya Arenais to Adron Malvern Adron Malvern , it brought with it lands and titles. All of that was part of her overall plans that had been years in the works. This wedding of her niece Loreena Arenais-Valhoun Loreena Arenais-Valhoun to Curtis Learchin Curtis Learchin did present a hiccup in those plans. But it wasn't something that couldn't be fixed or altered in some way. Rowena was more than capable of adapting.

She stood in the hub alongside her husband Bastin Arenais , her arm tucked in around his. She watched Loreena and Caedyn Arenais as they passed by, with a delightful smile on her face that also hinted that she knew of a secret that her niece and nephew did not. But all in good time. Patience was a virtue and she held plenty of that.

All that she had to do was to continue to watch the chips to fall right where she wanted them to be.

Bastin stood next to Rowena Arenais , dressed up for once. His wife made certain of it and he wasn't about to be the target of her wrath at this point in time. No, there was other things for him to focus on on this day. And that was whatever Rowena had cooked up. She was always scheming and Bastin was always the muscle for those schemes. Neither of them were Force Users like it seemed most people were, yet it didn't really matter. Their success didn't come at the hands of cheating with the Force at all. Their successes were the result of much skill and cunning.

Caedyn Arenais looked very much like his late Father, Veiere, yet the family resemblance to Bastin was evident as well. For most of the young man's life, Bastin didn't take any care in his life at all, nor that of Loreena Arenais-Valhoun Loreena Arenais-Valhoun . But a visit by Veiere before his death had changed that, bringing him new interest into his only other blood relations. But just how that interest would unfold remained to be seen. Rowena had plans for that, he was sure of it.

Kalic sat there, smiling a bit as he was ready to watch Lori and Curtis finally tie the knot. For once he also hadn’t had to endure some sort of painful vision. The only one he had didn’t even really show anything. The Miraluka did look slightly mismatched though. He was dressed in the only appropriate clothing he had, an old dress uniform from his Fel Empire days ironically enough. This dressy look was pair with his usual, plain eye wrap.

Helooked at Curtis, noting the faint hint of Force that seemed to stretch from him. The man looked ready at least, but Kalic couldn’t tell much more. Then he turned back when to see Lori and her brother Caedyn, who was a new face to the Rebel. That faint Force seemed to extend from the person who had become a leader and friend to him. He smiled. This would be a big step for the couple, and the man was just happy to be able to witness it.

On his Crownworld of Illyria there were few ceremonies as wonderful and treasured as weddings. They are often seen as unions of life and destiny as well as political maneuvers to secure power and end bouts of bad blood. Today it seemed the union was one that had been born in love rather than a political matching. The timing was ironic considering it was both politics and the heart that had led Adron to his own fiance, Saraya Arenais Saraya Arenais . He had been invited as her guest and though the King's stoic expression and calm demeanor would never show it, he was eager to see his bride to be once again.

The venue was peculiar at best. The King received an invite to nearly every wedding hosted by his nobles on Illyrian and they filled every venue known to man. Mountains, beaches, parks, churches, dining halls, and even military facilities. However he had never once been invited to a wedding in a theme park. Childish and immature he thought the words were a bad joke spoken by his beloved until a still face revealed the truth behind her words. Even as he walked towards the Orbital Wheel's onloading station he could not quite believe the choice of venue. He tried to pay it little mind, yet his eyes judged harshly.

The King had chosen white and gold for the attire of the day. Colors to symbolize wealth and tranquility and wish the happy couple years of both. His ornate walking cane tapped along the ground as he swept a stray hair from the side of his face.

His eyes took in all in attendance in one brief sweep, seeing everything yet forgetting nothing. He quickly found the form of Rowena Arenais and passed the woman a nod in greeting. He made no moves to join her as he was more concerned with scanning the room. The bride was another child of his late master, but she meant little to Adron, her twin however… Caedyn Arenais was the blood heir to his late master and a minor source of interest for the Sith Lord. In time a relationship between the two would form and Adron would use it to his advantage, as he always did.

With a brief smile forming on his lips, the King made his way over to where his future in-laws stood. His hand outstretched to Bastin with a mildly gauging expression.

So this is the brother of Veiere Arenais? He missed before speaking in a pleasant tone of silk and wine. "Lord Arenais. It is an honor to meet you. I am Adron Malvern, the King of Illyria." His eyes spoke more than his words ever would.

And the man who will marry your daughter. They said with no lack of pride.

So this is who Rowena Arenais and Saraya Arenais Saraya Arenais spoke about. Bastin picked up on that the moment that Adron Malvern Adron Malvern made his approach and as the King was gauging him, so too was Bastin studying him.

The man was older than his daughter, that much was clear and that in and of itself brought forth the feelings of protectionism that he always had when it came to his daughter. However a light squeeze of his wife's hand on his arm reminded him to be calm and behave himself.

Bastin held out his hand placed it in Adron's, giving it a firm shake. Of course he was sizing the man up, gauging his strength through the handshake, as well as his eyes. Just like with his wife, Adron's gaze told more than his words did.

"The honour is mine, Majesty. What's say that after the proceedings, we go for a drink?" There were a few things that he wanted to get across to the man that would wed and bed his daughter. It was of course, his duty to do so.

An invitation to her cousin’s wedding was the last thing that Saraya had expected. She had a sneaking suspicion that it had something to do with her mother, but she did not question it. Least of all because she had managed to secure a plus one for Saraya, and that could only mean one thing.
She would get to see him again, for the first time since the announcement of their engagement.
There were other things that presented a source of excitement and nervousness in Saraya, of course. This would be the first time Loreena and Caedyn would be made aware of her existence. She had heard much about them, but her life had been led largely in the shadow of theirs. Not to mention the fact that her father would be meeting Adron for the first time too. That particular notion that set a firm lump of anxiety in the back of her throat.
Standing silently next to her mother and father, her emerald gaze found its place on the bride as she swept down the aisle. Her dress was beautiful, a flowing garment of shifting white silk with silver brocade worked into the corset. Saraya pressed her lips together, trying to swallow the smile that threatened to creep over them. It would be her turn soon. Her heartbeat sped up rapidly, pounding out a rhythm that far outmatched the frenzied fairground music, but it was not at the thought of her own wedding. Saraya drew her gaze from her cousins and cast it out into the crowd.
That was when she saw him. An angelic vision in white and gold. Saraya could not help but smirk at the irony. He was the very opposite of angelic. He had only needed to turn his gaze on her party for her to recognise the shadow, and for the shadow to recognise her.
As Adron began to approach, Saraya felt her breath catching in her throat. He had neither looked at nor acknowledged her yet, but she still could not take her eyes off him. She did her best to curb the swell of desire that overtook her as he spoke. Only a night or two ago, they had shared a dream. His voice was no stranger to her, but it was still far more enchanting hearing it in a corporeal world. Her painted lips pulled themselves into a beautiful smile. The eyes that spoke a thousand words to her father spoke only three to Saraya.
You are mine.
When her father’s voice joined the fray, Saraya could not help but shoot her mother a concerned glance. It lasted all of half a second, but Saraya knew she would be watching her. Neither had been quite sure as to how Bastin would react to Adron, and though Saraya had not said as much to her mother, she was not sure how Adron would react to Bastin. After throwing her eyes back to the wedding, Saraya released an internal sigh.
At least the had the ceremony to get through before anything else could happen.

' For the last time, no, you can’t tidy up the entirety of Mnemoland. ' comes a disgruntled, metallic sigh from BB-610’s vocal processor. While the droid prided himself in distancing far beyond what a regular astromech’s programming would entail, babysitting was never a prime directive nor was it a skill he’d developed on his own. His cyan optic narrows in lingering annoyance, focusing on PG-1 PG-1 , who the droid had been tasked with… [ sigh ] babysitting.

He supposes it’s just in a PG unit’s code to be like this. They’re a relatively new line of droid, and while PG-1 was the first the astromech had ever met, the lone encounter was all the evidence he needed. Playful, twitchy, all over the place. All of the things BB-610 wasn’t, and he’d honestly started to wish he was back in the middle of firefights so he could focus on what he was designed for-- fixing starships, and providing support. Not chaperoning a pet on wheels.

BB-610 turns his head, and his holoprojector whirrs to life, a hologram displayed clearly before the two droids. ' Miss Arenais - soon to be Ms. Arenais - gave us very specific instructions. ' The hologram, consisting of the map layout of the Orbital Wheel, zooms in closer, detailing the specifics of the wedding room. ' I take my position in the crowd and stay on the lookout for intruders. You are what is traditionally known as the ring bearer. There is no mathematical equation I could possibly solve to explain why Miss Arenais tasked a PG unit of all things to perform such an intricate role, but you go in, typically after the flower girls, and you provide the wedding rings. '

The hologram blips shut, and the astromech glances at PG-1, who’d remained perfectly still and seemingly captivated by the presentation, like a child before dangling keychains.

' You did remember the rings, didn’t you? '

~

Well, it was certainly something. The wedding, celebrations, parties, festivities. For once, BB-610 could say he’d gotten experience with some, but a wedding was nonetheless very foreign territory for him. Still… he wanted to be better. He wanted to feel like a part of somebody’s story- not just a droid, not just an astromech. Loreena was a relatively new ally, but he didn’t mind that in the slightest. After all, friendship isn’t measured in length, but in heart, and BB-610 was more than willing to broaden his horizons and make new friends.

Which is why, he supposes, the little PG unit following him around like a duckling to its momma was slowly beginning to grow on him. Droid on droid relations were still new to him - all the heavy hitters in his life were organics. As annoying as the little thing could be, the astromech didn’t mind the company. He felt… important, in a sense. Important as he rolls up to the room’s entrance, photoreceptors spotting Loreena Arenais-Valhoun Loreena Arenais-Valhoun in a split second. BB-610 whirls his head around to face PG-1, and he inches closer.

' I need to attend some duties. You need to find the flower girls, and, failing that, report back to this room immediately upon receiving my signal. Stay out of trouble. This is her big day, and the last thing she needs is for things to go horribly wrong because you’re busy cleaning carpets. '

And with that, he’d [ surprisingly begrudgingly ] leave PG-1’s side, and roll towards the bride. If droids could smile, BB-610’s lips would be a bright, toothy grin, with the softest of sincerities. ' Greetings, Miss Arenais! You look lovely, ' he’d chirp, binary gentle and warm. ' I’ve been scanning and there have been no instances of lifeforms outside of the ones invited. '

Wedding! Clean! Wedding! Clean! Wedding! Cl-

The word that drone on and on inside the little droid’s head as his feet tidy up the dirt along the floor, cleaning it in a hurry as the filth is emptied within the storage receptacle inside him. Every floor should be spotless, and PG-1 would have been perfectly fine with continuing for the entire rotation if BB-610 BB-610 hadn’t gotten his manipulator arm out to pick the PG unit up and plop him down in front of the astromech.

' Awww! ' he huffs. ' Need clean, though! ' Today was definitely a big day for his owner. He’d researched everything he needed to know [ which was the definition of ‘wedding’ and a page of loosely thrown in attributes ] and had even been there when the woman selected her dress. He wanted to make this day as happy as possible for her, and he wouldn’t stop at anything to-- ' Oooooooh, shiny! ' PG-1’s ‘irises’ grow bigger, utterly fascinated by the hologram.

Ooh, ohh, he knows this part! The utility droid wheels back, recoiling just an inch as the compartment consisting of his belly clicks open, revealing a tiny, plush pillow with a neatly fashioned box, its lid popping back to reveal two intricately designed rings. PG-1 covers them back up, and he looks all pleased with himself.

~

As the two droids reach the room’s entrance, PG-1 shares one last glance at the astromech. He was nice! Astromechs were always funny, and super helpful! He felt very happy knowing that there was astromech code inside him. BB-610 was like a big brother to him! A sibling-like relationship that seemed entirely one-sided, but PG-1 was none the wiser, of course.

He had no idea what a flower girl was! After a brief data search, he reached the conclusion that they were girls with flowers. He could do that, no problem. New prime directive: locate the flowery girly thingies, so he could do the ring thingie. Simple!

' Okie dokie! ' PG-1 tweets, happy and giddy. ' Bye bye, astro! ' And with that, he was off.

"I swear by the Force you guys are going to give me an aneurism with how seriously you take your jobs. Like I appreciate the concern but for once can you guys relax? It's my niece, if she was trying to kill me she's doing a terrible job of it. " His head of security took her job well and seriously, making his life nightmarish to manage without having a guard practically glued to his backside. Even now, with only the couple that were on the ship with him to get across the galaxy to some planet he'd never heard of, to an amusement park he never heard of, to watch his niece get married to someone he also never really heard all that much about.

Really this was his most normal day in years.

Eventually the ship made ground, and his guards were quick to move ahead of him so they actually could do their job for five seconds without Darlyn just, moving a mile a minute far ahead of them. They managed to 'secure' the landing area as Darlyn walked down the ramp, fixing his suit's cuffs as he did so. Freshly pressed suit, nicely managed hair (for once), and he even was being polite by leaving his weapons on the ship instead of trying to sneak anything inside. His best behavior for his niece, the highest of honors really. Darlyn, behaving, like a normal person.

He really did love Loreena Arenais-Valhoun Loreena Arenais-Valhoun .

XTukiMI.png

The guards were staying well away, their minds were pretty easy to manipulate gently. They were already inclined to listen to him, so urging them to just keep the ship secure and safe was pretty easy. Which was why Darlyn was making his way into the venue proper with only Aoife Jones Aoife Jones walking alongside him. A theme park, what a fitting place for the goofball to get married. He very thoroughly approved, quite honestly. Everything about this was just, quite perfectly suited to her, not to mention he imagined at least a decent chunk of the reception was going to be just, actually having a day at the amusement park.

"Be on your best behavior deirfiúr. No being too loud, no dancing on tables, and for the love of the Force, no excessive drinking. Understood?"

He knew exactly what she was going to throw back at him, there was no doubt in his mind. But even so, it had to be said, this wasn't an Anam party after all. Or, for that matter, a night out with the guards. This was a very special day, they could be rowdy when they got home. He watched and waited for his sibling to confirm she would behave, before stepping into the venue itself to find himself a nice place to stand, preferrably up front where he could give the goofball a goofy smile she would actually be able to see.

He took in everyone present, how they did or didn't resonate in the Force, how they stood and where they stood, to try and take in whoever he recognized or, in the other case, remember them for later. Unfortunately, he remembered, ehhh, pretty much no one. He made his way up quickly, to stand nearest he could to where the Twins would be, and took a slow breath. Nothing to be worried about, everyone here should be a friend, even if he remembered none of them. Though hearing, not too far away, the name Lord Arenais, Darlyn's ear tips twitched. Whoever was that? He didn't look around, but now he was, curious.

That said, questions would come later. For now, a ceremony.

Morcus had arrived at the wedding fashionably early, taking the time to mingle with the other guests before the ceremony started. He'd gone for a very gentlemanly tuxedo as his attire for the wedding. After all, a Count of Serenno had to look his best for formal occasions such as these. He'd also made sure to get front row seats for the ceremony itself. He wanted to have the perfect view of his adopted granddaughter's engagement proceedings, given he was also attending on behalf of Loreena's still recovering mother.

When he caught a glimpse of Loreena being walked down the aisle by her brother, his usual stern facade quickly melted, a few manly tears shedding down his cheeks, though he quickly wiped them with a hankerchief. He felt a pride only a grandfather could feel for a moment such as this. He waved at Loreena and her brother briefly, hoping they'd notice his presence.

Tobias didn't choose to mingle with anyone. He didn't even try. Instead he just stood there in his Imperial uniform of stark grey, quite certain that both Loreena Arenais-Valhoun Loreena Arenais-Valhoun , Caedyn Arenais and any other member of the Eclipse Rebellion would recognize his buttons, medals and of course; the Eternal Empire insignia.

The man wasn't armed. He didn't need to be. Not for today. His weapons were words. Words that would be spoken after the ceremony. He'd almost call them a gift in and of themselves.

This was the first time that he had glimpsed his grandchildren with his own eyes, and they didn't impress in the slightest. The pair were known Force Users and that mere point alone brought a lot of disdain to the Imperial Veteran.

Tobias just bided his time, the desire to light up a cig ever present, but that too would wait.

That too would wait.

Lori held firm to her brother. In all honesty, she didn't know who most of the attendies were. So many faces that she didn't recognize. Hopefully their Monarchy was still being kept secret. That was partly why she chose this venue in the first place. "My broker? I thought you brought all these people here..."

Her eyes dropped to that of her two droid friends, outside of Arla anyways. There was little PG-1 PG-1 looking ever so cute and up to his task, as well as BB-610 BB-610 . The pair would discover that this wasn't to be a normal wedding. There were no flower girls, no maids of honour or best men either. Lori didn't have many in the way of friends. Most that cared for her were dead. She had Caedyn Arenais , Curtis Learchin Curtis Learchin and Darlyn Excron Darlyn Excron to be sure. And of course the droids. Yet no one else ever got close, not that she blamed them. Lori was a goofball, a Rebel and those that sought her most were only to lock her in a cell or put her on the execution block. Other than that she was of little consequence. So it caught her by surprise that so many were here.

Once all were on board, the Orbital Wheel began to slowly turn and the entire hub was lifted from the ground. There was no going back now.

Lori spotted Curtis as she made the approach with her brother, kissing Cae's cheek before she let him leave her to her own devices.

Thank the Force she wasn't wearing a tight corset. Her breath was caught enough as it is.

Walking alongside his Sister to meet with Curtis Learchin Curtis Learchin was an honour, and Caedyn offered his soon-to-be brother-in-law a respectful bow of his head before stepping off to the side so that the Bride and Groom could see their ceremony underway; "Congratulations you two" he whispered as he parted from them, moving quietly to the side of the room so that they would be the one and only attraction.

A wedding in an Orbital Wheel...-It was as unfamiliar to him as half of the guests in attendance. Loreena Arenais-Valhoun Loreena Arenais-Valhoun ' concern for their newly inherited status remaining a quiet secret was suddenly shared in-mind with the Jedi Knight as he turned his attention to those that occupied and bore witness to the conjoining of the two, soon to be man and wife.

There was one recognizable face in the room actually, and thankfully not accompanied by explosives or any show of destructive force, Darlyn Excron Darlyn Excron was among the crowd and Caedyn grinned to himself, pleased to see their Uncle able to have made the journey from Commenor. Alongside his Mother and Father, Darlyn had been there from the start during their days as King and Queen Monarchs, establishing the Commenor Systems Alliance. The thought soon crossed Caedyn's mind if the man had known about their dealings in Mnemosyne behind the scenes, or if they'd managed to keep that a secret from he as well.

A conversation for another time perhaps, if the need were to arise. For now, Caedyn remained standing off to the side and sparing a glance to the view spanning out ahead of the orbital wheel as the hub lifted higher and higher while the ceremony continued.

Curtis had been feeling a mix of excitement and worry about this day for months. It was a huge milestone, one he never expected to actually get to. But here he was, standing at the alter with his beloved, surrounded by her family and friends. He hadn't invited anyone, he didn't know many people, and even fewer he considered friends. Being a Sith for the majority of his life had made him a bit of a social outcast.

Giving a nod to Caedyn Arenais as he brings Loreena Arenais-Valhoun Loreena Arenais-Valhoun , his heart swelling with love for her.

"You look... incredible" Are the only words that he manages to say, it's clear on his face that he's overcome with emotion, but he holds himself together as the ceremony begins.

It wasn't often Aoife attended weddings, much less got invited to one as a plus one by her dear baby brother. She walked by his side, a smile on her face. Aaron's quick dismissal of the guards was amusing, though not as amusing as his "demands" of her about her behavior. She laughed, maybe a little louder than she should have, as she placed a gloved hand on his shoulder.

"Oh, deartháir leanbh, you ask far too much of me! Besides, don't you think it hypocritical to tell me not to drink too much?"

She squeezed gently, and shook little Aaron slightly, making it clear she was joking.

"Besides, ceremonies are about the bride, and I know I'm not getting married any time soon."

Snorting with a small laugh, Aoife followed Aaron into the venue. She looked at those gathered as she followed her brother. She didn't know anyone personally, but she did oh so love to people watch. Did weddings count for people watching? Either way, it was evident that the guest list was varied. Cute little droids, a Miraluka, those of the Light, those not... How fun!

Standing by her brother, she leaned in to whisper in his ear as her gaze turned towards the bride.

"You know you'll have to introduce me to everyone you know, after the ceremony."

Lori loved Caedyn Arenais dearly, and at times they quarreled, but that love never ceased. No matter how many times they got on eachother's nerves. That was the joys of siblings and especially with twins.

She smiled to Curtis Learchin Curtis Learchin as he complimented her, and of course her cheeks turned a dark shade of pink. "You don't look too bad yourself." She took hold of his hand and then looked to the rather young looking Minister. Only Lori knew who he truly was, a new recruit and goofball like herself. All others would discover that as soon as he started to speak.

The man cleared his throat with a hearty cough and eyed the crowd gathered before looking to the couple in front of them and giving them a wink. He then reached down to little PG-1 PG-1 , taking hold of the ring box and opening it, giving a whistle of approval as he held it out to the pair before his spoke. "Alright now, I'm going to make this short and sweet, cause once we reach the top, it'll all be downhill from here. So...Lori, Curtis, I'm going to ask you both at the same time; 'Do you wish to be married to eachother, from this moment onward as is witnessed by everyone here?' I mean seriously, did you really need all of these people here? Just a handful will do and-- His words were cut off as Lori promptly stamped on his foot. "Ahem....right then. So do you?" He waited for both Lori and Curtis to respond before continuing on:

After stepping off, he paused for a moment, knowing that he had forgotten something and snapped his finger. Then he returned to the couple. "Oh, and you can kiss now! Congratulations!" And then he was off again, straight over to the bar.

“Quite a view isn’t it?”

A pair of pale, slender arms wrapped around Caedyn’s chest, a chin coming to rest on his shoulder as blue eyes swept over the scene before Asaraa tilted her head up to look over at the man.

Weddings were…not something the Jedi was particularly used to attending. Sure, she’d seen them in the holofilms and drama, read about them in books but there was something different about actually being at a wedding. No book, no drama, no matter how good, how detailed the rendition it couldn’t describe the sensation of being here. Couldn’t match the way you could feel the happiness and joy that seemed to fill the room, broadcasting loudly through the force.

The woman tilted her head to the side, resting her cheek against Caedyn’s eyes closing for a moment as she let herself relax into him for a time before leaning in to kiss his cheek, her voice a soft whisper.

“I’m just saying, if you even think about holding our wedding in a theme park you’re not going to make it to the wedding night.”

A mischievous light danced in her blue eyes as Asaraa disentangled herself from her boyfriend’s back, taking a few steps back, the blue silk of her dress swishing around her legs as she held out a hand.

“Well Mr Arenais, buy a girl a drink?”

Kalic smiled as he watched. Chuckling a bit at the interesting way the Minister did the... "normal" minister stuff. He then heard a whistle next to him from his Q7 astromech, Jee. He patted the floating droid, the looked around at everyone. He was honestly surprised to an extent at how many people there were. He'd just gotten a bit too use to running at this point. He smiled though, and slowly looked around at the others.

He would look around for a second, seeing if her recognized anyone else there. There were a few droids, and then Darlyn with someone. They seemed... similar to his Force Sight. Odd. He then say Caedyn and Asaraa and chuckled a little more before walking up to the bar, and order a Corellian Ale before looking out. When he got a chance, Kalic would look at the couple and give a "Congratulations" to the new couple.
