STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES:

+ All in One - Like all PG units, PG-1's equipment consists of a hybrid between BB-series astromechs, MSE-series maintenance droids and BD-series explorer droids. This makes him an excellent companion aboard starships, capable of performing frequent risks and repairs while keeping the vessel clean and tidy. PG-1's diminutive size and waterproof chassis makes him the perfect tag-along during missions.

+ Low-Profile - At a mere 20 centimetres, and with a relatively quiet whirr of his internal motors, PG-1 is smaller than even a BB-series droid, making him an incredible infiltrator. Capable of reaching surprisingly fast speeds, PG-1's size allows him to easily maneuverer past enemies and incoming fire, with his tiny frame already being rather difficult to shoot.

+ Peppy and Pal-y - PG-1 is a rather chirpy thing and is fiercely obedient to whomever he is assigned to. Loyal to a T, this little droid will never leave your side and will follow orders without question, no matter how much he may not want to otherwise see them through.

- Not A Fighter - PG-series droids are incredibly weak and unable to do a lot of damage. While PG-1 does have a weaker version of an astromech's electro-shock prod, it's only viable in last ditch efforts and self defense. PG-1 is very easy kill if managed to get a hold of, and as such bringing him along on missions may prove dangerous. While he offers a wide array of support in terms of utility, PG-1 is not a combatant.

- Peabrained - The droid brain inside PG-1 is particularly small, and, fitting with his bird-like aesthetic, it makes him quite scatterbrained. He's not the brightest droid in the galaxy, and can be easily manipulated and exploited if fallen into enemy hands.

APPEARANCE:

PG-1 is a typical PG-series droid, bearing no outside modifications or tweaks, as he's relatively fresh off the assembly line. Like all PG units, he is a small, rounded bird-like droid with smooth durasteel plating and an internal rotor that moves him with rotating twiggy legs. The bowtie featured on him is actually a panel, hosting equipment, much like an astromech's. Beneath the unit's tail is a repulsorlift, continuously keeping him steady and allowing him to freely lean to the side in order to gain speed without toppling over. While they appear completely smooth, his 'wings' do in fact detach from his sides, opening up to reveal another set of tools.

The most notable aspect of PG-1's design is his color palette, matching that of a porg. While it isn't uncommon for PG units to come in all different colors, PG-1 is the first of his kind to have such coloration. Much like how BB-8 earned a reputation for his distinct plating, PG-1 is of a similar notion in that he is quite infamous among his home planet of Nubia.

PERSONALITY:
PG-1 is, for lack of a better word, very much a bird in his mannerisms. He is curious, a bit clueless, and rather noisy, but most importantly PG-1 is a very happy droid. He is vocal about his enthusiasm of those around him, and seeks to make as many people happy by performing his tasks and duties as ordered. Oddly, for a droid, PG-1 loves physical attention, craving and dishing out a lot of affection, never once turning down the opportunity to nestle into someone's embrace. He is similar to a pet, liking to be placed on one's lap, and whirring happily if he's stroked and petted. Like all PG units, PG-1 comes pre-installed with a need for cleaning, obsessing over minute details and stressing to get every inch of a starship sparkling. Not only is he hard-working, but PG-1 is a loyal and compassionate little droid, making him the perfect companion.

BIOGRAPHY:
One of the first PG units to be manufactured in bulk, PG-1 was subject to public praise upon his minute off the assembly line for his distinct coloration and chipper personality. As such, following the buzz of a brand new model of droid being designed by Industrial Automaton, PG-1 spent a good majority of his first few months being passed around from owner to owner, being bargained for due to his novelty and uniqueness. Nothing short of a good thing, in PG-1's mind, as this gave him ample opportunities to form loving bonds with as many people as possible, though his lack of a long-lasting relationship has made him expect nothing short of a brief time with those around him - the droid's status eventually making him think of himself as nothing more than an item.

Eventually, PG-1 was handed off to a couple of twi'leks who, for the first time, refused to sell him off and were adamant on keeping him. For two galactic standard years, PG-1 would serve as their companion and servant, quite happily maintaining the reputation of their home on Coruscant. One night, the twi'lek's wife failed to come home. Growing weary, PG-1 and his master would begin combing the streets of Coruscant in search for her, with the droid tapping into newfound territory as a bloodhound. The very first lesson PG-1 would learn, however, was that to roam the empty alleys of Coruscant at night was a fool's errand, and soon master and droid were separated by pirates.

With his master sold into slavery and any recollection of his time with the twi'leks wiped from his memory, PG-1 is currently being kept as a droid for sale, being placed on the market. At the moment, PG-1 can do nothing beside reboot every rotation, staring outside his cage as he waits for a brand new master to take care of him. This time, hopefully, forever.
