- Mode Change: Designed off the original Jedi Starfighters of the Clone Wars, Si Tech made further distinctions between the two modes of flight.
- Straight Flight Mode: The Bokken Class's standard mode for flight, it's focus is defense and Speed. Power is allocated to the shields, with minimal weapon systems outside of it's Twin Mass Drivers and munition hardpoints. Meant for Landing, Close Air Support, and Basic Flight.
- Attack Mode: With the wings deployed, the power is allocated to the weapons and engines, designed to allow pilots to dogfight with maximum efficiency. While it sacrifices portions of power to the shields, it makes up for it in making the fighter an acrobat in the sky. Meant for Dogfighting.
- Use the Force Luke: Much of the systems within the starfighter are simplified. Not for the sake of dumbing down the controls, but to not distract the pilot, understanding that Jedi Aces are prone to using their Force Abilities to defy typical flight logic. Sensor displays have been peared down to essentials, allowing the pilot to be not bogged down by information overload.
- Fast as Fark: The Bokken Class's Flight Mode was designed to allow the fighter the ability to outspeed missiles and torpedoes, as well as every standard starfighter the factions of the galactic stage have to offer. While in Attack Mode, it's speed matches that of the LionX's top speed, allowing it supreme manuverability.
- Big Guns, Number One: While normally fitted on massive ships, the twin turbolasers fitted to the central skeleton act as a retractable, therefore hidden bane for anyone facing this. Capable of destroying corvette sized ships in a single shot, the Bokken Class spares no expense when allowing the rebel jedi pilots to hit hard, fast, then disappear.
- Automatic Man: The Bokken Class, between it's astromech, and it's twin droid brains, is designed to assist pilots in anything from target acquisition, bombing alignment, and even hyperdrive activation. Much like it's predecessors, the pilot's ability to communicate with it's droid systems is done through voice activation, though the advanced systems of the LionX is capable of even using brain impulses to understand what a pilot needs in a moment of stress.
- S-Foils: An inherent flaw of the design, the deployable wings and retractable guns can take a second or two to unfurl to switch to attack mode. While it does have armaments in it's default mode, they are not as well equipped for dogfighting.
- Trade Off: While in it's default mode, it's shields are high powered, designed to stave off sneak attacks or ground fire. While in attack mode, the power of the shields are shifted to it's armaments and engines, making the LionX a glass cannon.
Long before her time, The Jedi of the original Republic used designed to fight off Droid Starfighters en masse. Many famed jedi flew such craft, but the designs of those days fell to the wayside upon the rise of the Empire.
Jonyna Si had always been hesitant to use those designs, as it called back to a day and age when the Republic was high in the sky. But now, with the Wild Space Rebellion under her company's watch, she was persuaded by
