OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
  • Intent: Flesh out more roles for Sith in the Order of Wonosa.
  • Role: To bring death to the enemies of the Sith, the newly reorganized assassins of the Sith Order of Wonosa.
  • Permissions: N/A
  • Links: Canon Darkseekers, Serpent's Den, Squires of Wonosa
GENERAL INFORMATION
  • Unit Name: Darkseekers of Wonosa
  • Affiliation: Darth Strosius, Order of Wonosa, Sith Order
  • Classification: Sith Assassins
  • Description: Varying in equipment, appearance, and often even methodology, the Darkseekers of Wonosa are often only similar in their loyalty and goal. To utterly destroy and eliminate the enemies of the Sith wherever and whoever they may be. The Darkseekers are often cold and logical, preferring to act as either solitary hunters or small squads of elite killers that prey upon their foes. They slip into and out of societies and organizations as their duty demands and hold allegiance only to the Sith.
COMBAT INFORMATION:
  • Unit Size: Small
  • Unit Availability: Rare
  • Unit Experience: Elite
  • Equipment: Modified Squire Armor featuring a Thermal Distorter and coated in Sensor Deflector Spray, Lightsaber, Shikkar, Shadowcloak, and Basic Stealthfield Generators
  • Combat Function: Typically the Darkseekers act either alone or in very small groups, with no more than five typically in the same are at any one time. They employ stealth and espionage as their main weapons of choice but have no qualms about resorting to torture and other such methods in order to find their targets. Indeed their one purpose is to eliminate specific targets, often key figures or leaders of some sort, and as such deploy many tactics ranging from silent stalking to inciting deadly riots and even planting bombs all in the name of succeeding in their mission. They are also adept duelists and every Darkseeker is a veteran trained by experienced Sith Assassins in order to make them incredibly dangerous to face head on due to their experience with every lightsaber form.
  • Force Abilities (Force User Units Only): Telekinesis, Mind Trick, Force Lightning, Force Rage, A weak version of Force Drain, Inertia, Blinding, Force Stealth
Strengths:
  • Hunters Without Peer: Trained to be the successors of the Sith Assassins of old and only selected from the most skilled and capable Sith in the ranks of the Order of Wonosa, the Darkseekers are the elite of the elite when it comes to assassins. Locating and hunting down their targets, employing a variety of skills and techniques to do so, and a dedication to their cause makes them deadly opponents to all those in their path.
  • License to Kill: The Darkseekers have been authorized to use every possible method and plan in order to eliminate their given targets and achieve their mission's goals. Nothing is off the table. This has led to each Darkseeker being encouraged to be highly creative in their hunts and as a result many are skilled in diverse methods of infiltration and more offensive skills ranging from seduction to explosive crafting.
Weaknesses:
  • Lone Wolves: Given their individualistic nature, one promoted by their unorthodox strategies, as well as their very small unit size the Darkseekers are often found alone. Even when on assignments with fellow Darkseekers it isn't uncommon for deviations to a preestablished plan to be made on the fly or for orders to be ignored outright if an opportunity presents itself.
  • Collateral Damage: The actions of the Darkseekers have made them somewhat infamous due to their seemingly reckless abandon in regards to their missions. They will often eliminate many innocents and cause quite a bit of damage in order to slay a single target or recover one piece of information. Given this, rightfully earned, reputation they are mostly deployed far away from allied forces where their capacity for destruction can't harm their fellow Sith at the cost of the Darkseekers themselves being fairly isolated.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
After the events of Serpent's Den, the Tsis'Kaar of the Sith Order fractured and shattered. While many would swear allegiance to Darth Strosius and Darth Marr II, many would also label the apprentices of Darth Ophidia as traitors and usurpers and would continue waging the Ouroboros Crisis against the Sith Order. As part of their promise to remain loyal to the Sith Order the heirs of the Tsis'Kaar would begin hunting down and exterminating these pockets of resistance that were once united under their master.

Darth Strosius and his forces would spearhead much of these efforts, with his Squires and the Sith Assassins of the Tsis'Kaar which had sworn their loyalty to him featuring heavily in bringing the Tsis'Kaar remnants in line. Some would have to be destroyed entirely, others could be made to submit, but throughout the campaign the Squires learned from the example of the Assassins and began emulating their elite counterparts.

As the Crisis came to a proper conclusion, Darth Strosius would see to reorganizing his inherited portion of the Tsis'Kaar and the Sith Assassins were one of the first groups to be reformed. They would be remade into the Darkseekers, the ultimate hunters of the Sith's enemies. Rather than rely on stealth and subterfuge alone however the Darkseekers would be trained and encouraged in more unconventional and uncommon methods of warfare and destruction. They became just as likely to sneak into their target's home at night as they were to plant bombs on a transport that their target was using. They quickly gained a reputation as the unseen executioners of Darth Strosius, shadows that would bring death to whatever their master set them upon.
