OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
  • Intent: Establish and flesh out the Force Sensitives within the Order of Wonosa.
  • Role: Infiltrate and discover/recover possible artifact locations as well as provide support for the Legion of Kerstas.
  • Permissions: N/A
  • Links: Kotsûshatul Itsu, Order of Wonosa
GENERAL INFORMATION
  • Unit Name: Squires of Wonosa
  • Affiliation: Order of Wonosa, Darth Strosius Darth Strosius
  • Classification: Special Forces/Warrior Priests
  • Description: Meant to recover artifacts of the Dark Side and infiltrate populations of allies and enemies alike, the Squires of Wonosa are the clandestine arm of the Order of Wonosa. With armor intended to be less obvious and a couple of versatile Force Powers at their disposal, the Squires represent the Force Users of Wonosa that have yet to reach or are simply unable to become true Sith.
COMBAT INFORMATION:
  • Unit Size: Small
  • Unit Availability: Rare
  • Unit Experience: Trained
  • Equipment: Squire Armor, Karza Asmenys
  • Combat Function: The Squires are mainly intended to operate away from active battles and hidden in plain sight among the local populace of whatever area they find themselves in, serving as infiltrators and conduction special operations. However they are far from defenseless and do offer support in frontline battles when needed, having been personally trained by Alisteri Haxim to use the Force and their blades much like a typical Sith Acolyte would. They strike decisively and without mercy with their swords, their powers aiding in turning the environment to their advantage.
  • Force Abilities (Force User Units Only): Telekinesis, Mind Trick
Strengths:
  • Scions of the High Priest: Every member of the Squires has been trained personally by Alisteri Haxim, meaning that they do possess skills and techniques that would usually be exclusive to Sith. While far from the level of an Acolyte, a Squire is a step above the average soldier.
  • Lurkers: The main focus of the Squires is that of infiltration. Whether that means covert entrances, eliminating witnesses, or blending into crowds, the Squires are specially trained in hiding and subterfuge.
Weaknesses:
  • Sith in Name Only: Despite training from Alisteri, the Squires are not Sith. Whether they're simply too weak or lack the proper training to harness their powers, they are not on the same level as even an Acolyte. This means that while they are better than an average soldier they are completely outclassed by even a Padawan or Acolyte.
  • Cloak and Dagger: While far from harmless, the Squires are not meant to operate in open frontline combat. Rather they are meant to flank, infiltrate, or completely avoid an enemy. This, combined with their relatively lacking equipment, does not make them the most deadly of warriors.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
The Order of Wonosa was never gifted in terms of Force Sensitives during the days of the Sith Empire, their cult failing to attract the attention of the Sith almost by design. They were always meant to be rather secretive and hidden after all. As such by the time that they made their Dark Exodus the only Sith within the ranks of the Dark Wonosa Cult was their High Priest himself, and that was the way that it would stay for a long time. However, that didn't mean that they were completely bereft of Force Sensitives.

A scarce few within the cult, especially as new families were made and new members brought in over the course of their pilgrimage, began to show signs of Force Sensitivity and were dubbed the 'Blessed' by their fellow cultists. These few were given special attention by Alisteri, being instructed in how to use their blessings and given very basic teachings of the Sith. By the time that the Formos Dresuoti was established most of these Blessed, aside from the children, had become Priests within the cult and served as examples of what the cult's vision of the Sith truly looked like.

With the centralization of the cult into the Order of Wonosa, the Blessed would find themselves in an entirely new and more active role however. Now they were not merely priests and guides to the other cultists but would also be tasked with helping the cult expand its reach across Formos, in more ways than one. Alisteri, still intending to keep his Blessed hidden out of fear of the wider Sith Order taking notice of his cult, would train them and reform the Blessed into the Squires. As Squires they became infiltrators, assassins, scouts, anything that the regular Legionnaires could not be.

They were also tasked with occasionally venturing out in search of Dark Side artifacts and relics, recovering them if possible in order to keep the High Priest's growing archive well stocked and to ensure that such holy relics would not be tainted or sullied by the hands of the unworthy. Whether they be assigned to infiltrate and investigate rumors of Sith artifacts or destroy and enemy's resolve by cutting their supply lines, the Squires embody the core principles of the Order of Wonosa.
