When Falsehood Can Look Like Truth [SJO/ME]

She could hear the reports flooding in about first attacks and was moving now in her seat. "Very well, all hands batle stations, maintain cloaking fields when we exit hyperspace. THe Shadow will move into position with the destroyers, all squadrons will work to screen for the admirals. I want the andrasta's and zoomers moving quickly. Use their mine layers to set up a field for the carriers as we circle around." She had a plan of attack and with the distractions from King, Gir and their ships against the mandalorian armada... well they would be able to move cloaked through it all along the outskirts. The destroyers using their anti stealth capabilities and with the biot layer they wouldn't be sensed in the force.

"Admiral we have information pouring in, we are going to be coming about outside while the rest of the fleet move in behind Admiral King." She said it and got a look on her face though when she brought up the tactical display of the area they were looking at. With ships above the planet and information coming from planetside. THe jamming was there and what stations or mapping equipment they had would work. Saratai projects of mapping regions were important after all. She was checking out some other parts here as the shadow reverted to realspace. "All stealth systems are fully functional admiral. Fleet has joined Admiral Quee's battlegroup."

Her bridge officer spoke getting a mod of her head. "Good, then start brigning use around. Angle negative forty five degrees for now and take us down." A look at the screen while they could move and she wated to see what was engaging before tapping. "Fire deployment pods and set course for the planet." They had them for support. "Begin arming the main cannon and projectors." She got a nod from the weapons officer as they started to work on it all, the different weapons they could use would provide different levels of support until King and Gir handled their business. THey could at least prepare to smash a handful of ship here as they moved around to get into a flanking position.

She looked at the Andrasta's heading off quickly, to be with the zoomers the first to arrive and they would start dropping Gir's gravity mines within the pathway of their ships. THe ships were important but disabling the enemy ships was valuable to buying them time to focus fire. SHe coudl handle a little bloody noses and limping with these ships home. Normally she would have just left it up tot he Omni when she spoke. "Alyisa, we have arrived. THe shadow is moving into position and you and your squardron will be deployed along the way. Stay quiet until you have the shot and disable then dissect their ships. Destroying such things would be a shame. At least for now... let Admiral King make the call."

She was looking at it and seeing the Garrison Pods off when they were loaded. For Basaba in the hanger of Kings ship there was a few surprises as well. A Saotome Siege Platform would be coming to back them up, THe belly and top of it loaded with vehicles and air support as needed. She had the Saotome Ranger Biots loaded into the pods to give them ground units and support for everything. A small contingent of Saotome War Droid who would be joining the ground troops and smash through pretty much anything on the ground. THe admirals eyes were watching where they would be able to use a Saotome Tomie to get around. The ones with [member="Basaba Willamina"] using the Cerberus Wardroidshttp://starwarsrp.net/topic/30054-cerberus-wardroids/ units for dropping to the planet.

Rex watched as the pirates got themselves together, he smirked. "Men Open fire anyone with a weapon is a target." He watched as the men would fire at the enemy forces. He would then hear Acaleus "Got it don't worry we won't fire on you Acaleus me and my men will know who you are." He would turn to Cynthia. "Cynthia come on we need to get to Yasha." He would pull his lightsabres looking at the pirates with lightsabres and laugh. "About time I took some more lightsabres." He would pull it out of there grips still active and use them to cut down pirates through telekinesis. He would then force pull them deactivated to him and put them away.

"maybe those Jedi fools will think that some of theirs killed these people?" He would ask Cynthia jokingly as they began moving to into the base itself. He and his troops eventually found Acaleus. However they also found 3 more pirates with Silver Jedi weapons. He would use the force to take a few parts off the mini-gun. It would either explode or collapse. He hoped he had pulled the right parts out of sync. "Lets hope Gray and his men get here soon. We could use the hand. We haven't lost anyone yet and I am not planing to."

basaba looked at the blind sniper.... raising an eyebrow but she wasn't going to say anything when she stood there on the back of the wardroid with a grin on her face. her horak rifle going to the magno clasp of her armor. The plasma cannon and her weapons... She waited for a moment as the sounds of deployment pods going came to her. The former field marshall though saluted and offered an arm to pull her up when she motioned to the frame. "Permission granted, I recommend you hold on tight." She said it securing her helme t with a nod going forward though. She put her feet into the holds same as a number of the armored soldiers with a look.

"Alright, mount up." Basaba said it as the helmets were on, everything was cleared and the klaxon's blared. Opening the doors as the planet came into view. The orbit of the world, the vastness of space above the planet as she could see King's attacking with the deployment pods coming into view. SHe was tracking them on her helmet display before the cerberus units deployed. Falling out when gravity came to catch them, pulling before boosters activated sending the pod with most of the vehicles and equipment off to the side. THey would land and smash defenses as there was nothing like a good old fashioned mandalorian air drop.

The feling of heat as the friction shields glowed cherry red, Basaba turned to look at the miraluka who had joined them but she didn't move before the feeling came. Gravity made her stomach drop in the armor when they were going faster and faster. The droid speaking to her for the last moment but showing where they wanted to go. A small area that had been set up to harass and go after what rangers and silver jedi were down on the planet. Ten seconds before it was going to crash into the ground the war droid turned up and the shockwave when it smashed itno the ground sent someone up into the air as Basaba dropped down smashing her cybernetic arm into one of the armored mandalorians.

"Hey guys how you doing?" She said it and was looking up at four of them. Weapons drawn and Basaba raised her eyebrows under her helmet. Hand whirring for a moment with her fingers wriggling for a moment. She had a few ideas about how to handle this situation... she was looking at what they had and some fo the mandalorian weapons she had seen now were so... low class as it were. Compared to things like Jorus Merrills shotgun or the monroe rifle, even that old beskar crossbow.... "Down on your knee's." THe one spoke and Basaba was there looking at him when she spoke. "Sorry but I'm not your mother laster night." She moved quickly grabbing the gun and smashing her fist itno his face, the shockwave generator in her arm going off to send them itno the air.

"It looks like they have chose war," observed Gir dryly.

The space between the Kenobi with its escorts and the Mandalorian warships lit up with brilliant weapons fire. The Nibsani's Big Friend's proton beam cannon sent a massive beam of light at vessel, even as the Onagers sent a quartet of massive plasma bolts surging towards the bulk of the Dutchman's Bane. With sensor jamming in play, many targets could be difficult to hit, but a giant sphere was a relatively easy target to hit from a geometrical standpoint, even if they couldn't get pin-point accuracy on specific points of the warship yet. He felt the impact of the Mandalorian proton beam cannon hit the ship's triple layer of shields as it attempted to bore through the ship's defenses into the ship itself. Like its namesake, the Kenobi was a ship oriented towards defense rather than offense, which would likely give him some time to contemplate and better understand the strange ships in front of him. A whirling sound emanated from the right side of his command chair until it manifested into the hazy image of what appeared to be a three-eyed Gran wearing casual business attire.

"What is it, Aurek?"

The avatar of the Atropos AI unit cocked his head to the side, "I have detected a network intrusion."

That wasn't terribly surprising in its own. While all of the larger Silver Jedi starships had some measure of anti-slicing defenses present, no defense was ever truly impenetrable, and the Mandalorians of the past were known to employ slicers from time to time. One had even tried to take over a Republic base's cannons in the past to direct the weapons to destroy their own infrastructure. Gir scratched his chin.

"I take it that you are dealing with this situation."

"I am feeding them mixed information as I attempt to learn more about it."

Aurek was perhaps the most experienced unit of the dozen units in existence. It had travelled with Gir to the edges of the Unknown Regions to engage petty warlords and marauding criminal cartels to the tip of the core where the blonde man had fought against the One Sith and the First Order. As much as its experience made it competent, it made it irritatingly curious at times as well. It's probably not only testing this enemy slicer...

"If they have a two way connection with us, I'm assuming that you can use the same connection to enter their vessels."

The avatar nodded, "I have started to probe their network."

"Have you found anything yet?"

The randomly generated avatar shook his head, "Not yet, but I have inserted some holo pop-ups with clips of SuperKnight: The Awakening into their network."

Gir winced, "That's a horrible flick. You're intentionally trying to antagonize them, aren't you?"

The AI nodded, "It's one way to learn about one's opponent. I wonder what they'll do..."

"I'll leave you to run the PsyOps."

The blonde man turned his attention back to the tactical screen, noting that multiple cronau radiation bursts from hyperdrive reversions close to the Obi-Wan Kenobi that seemed to correlate with unusual impacts against the ship itself. Whatever weapon they're using seems to be ignoring shields. That troubled him partially, yet the ship's thick armor appeared to be working as planned, equally dissipating the effects of the attack across the massive ship's hull. Gir responded to query by one of his weapons department officers, authorizing the use of Plumbatas in his armada to blindly fire Anti-Ordinance EMP Probes at the areas where hyperspace reversions appear to be appearing. Trudo Point Defense turrets similarly were being allocated to block and push away ordinance coming in from those same areas. Maybe if we're lucky we'll be able to disable one of those weapons for future study. At brief glance at his console showed that the ship's shield officers were primarily focused on deflecting and absorbing the proton beam from the unusually decadent-looking NBF. Ariela cleared her throat as she looked at the holo of the vessel rotating above Gir's command chair.

"It seems to be the ship most interested in us."

Gir nodded, "One second..."

The blonde man typed in a few commands, causing the droid-crewed Vulcain and its accompanying fighters to move in close to where the impacts from the unknown ordinance were coming from. The armored cruiser would thus act as a physical shield, attempting to block of the physical impacts from the unknown ordinance. With those orders set, he turned his full attention to the enemy battlecruiser that was battering away at the Kenobi's layered shields with its singular, massive cannon. Why isn't more weapons fire coming out of it? A glance at his ship read-out noted that the ship's proton beam cannon was exceptionally powerful, though some of its bite had been reduced by the Kenobi's molecular shields, which had been able to partially absorb the beam's energy to repower its defenses. He ran a few rough mental calculations. But that won't last forever...it's a powerful weapon that will burn through our shield's eventually. He rapidly typed in a few commands into his console, causing the Kenobi to redirect its fire at the NBF. Hypervelocity rounds, homing lasers, turbolasers, and mass driver slugs began to slam into the other ship's shields. Tidefall Torpedo salvos began to fly out of his ships before speeding out to test their droid brain's mettle against the NBF's defenses. Gir noted that the ship appeared to have an equally strong defense. We won't beat in it a direct slugging match then...but maybe we won't have to...

"Focus the Auras on the NBF, density projectors set to make it more dense than us. Swing us about to their stern."

With that, the quartet of Aura Tractor/Pressor Beams latched onto the ship, making its mass denser than it should have been. Combined with a burst of the ship's thrusters, the Kenobi suddenly shifted position, placing it an maneuvering arc that would eventually take it out of the Nibsani's proton beam's fire arc. Gir stroked his chin. Perhaps they will reveal more weapons as we get closer to it....

Tactical Summary
-Kenobi fires all four Onager units onto the Dutchman's Bane
-Atropos AI unit Aurek counterattacks MOMALOR, begins to probe Mandalorian ship computers & harass crewmembers with pop-up holos
-Defensive measures against unknown ordinance ("Shig" drones) taken as described
-Kenobi and accompanying vessels return fire on the Nibsani's Big Friend
-Kenobi activates Aura Tractor/Pressor beam projectors on the Nibsani's Big Friend to aid in its maneuver to close with the other battlecruiser and escape the fire arc of the proton beam.

“Roger that Command, Olympus is ready for a go”, the Olympus squadron had been ready. Their engines were primed and their cloaking is active. The only thing they were waiting for was the drop zone. “Alright Olympus”, Aly said over the coms to the X-Wing squadron and to Allyson Locke. “We’ve been properly briefed during the ride here. You all just heard the Admiral. Let’s get out there in position and be unseen for now. When the timing is right we will strike.”

Aly looked to her left and gave a thumbs up to one of the hanger crew. The man started waving a glow rod around signaling to the rest of the flight crew.
With their cloaking system activated, one by one the Tengu X-Wing squadron began to leave the hanger. Maneuvering up above the Jedi Shadow they linked up into formation.

Actions: Reinforcing Ambrose, Dinn Squad going after enemy armor

The mandalorian spoke through his MBE comm , "Ambrose sir , I am sending over my infantry to reinforce your position. I am proceeding with Dinn Squad to attack their far left flank. We have spotted some vehicles at the edge and will be engaging." . Upon recieving the order, nine hundred and ninety three men began reinforcing the death watch commander's position. With the troops ambrose brought and the amount of troops comming his way, they should have enough men to punch a hole in the enemy lines, it was time the wreaked havoc in the back lines of the SJO . Meanwhile Dinn squad would do what they do best, and blow up any poor sod hunkered down in a fornication, vehicle, or in a tight formation. The massive, red armored, killing machine had almost felt sorry for them. Until he realized that they were in the way of their fething mand'alor , their leader figure, and mother figure of the great family called the mandode.

"Echo Team and Alpha Six move to higher ground and sodding bring the pain to these sewer wipes ! Pathfinder, look for enemy mines or explosives along the path, then change targets to scout the enemy position. Once you make it to the top Alpha Six you will act as their spotter, and continuing hand them ammunition as needed! " , as trained warriors they moved without pause, and without saying a word. Echo Team had the ordinance to do some heavy damage and with the extra ammo output of having ammo themselves along with the strong female wookie named Alpha Six carry a workload of ammunition. They could seriously do a lot of damage to enemy vehicles.Pathfinder would continue scouting and looking for targets , and essientally acting as their spotter that points out worthy targets.

"Bravo Team, you lovebirds need to secure the right lower flank of the hilltop.Engage enemies with maximum prejudiced, you guys have the ammo already distributed to you. Do not engage or give away your position, and stick to the treeline, you guys have no way of facing any vehicles out their. I will be covering the rear edge the area , the enemy will surely try to flank us their as well. WE all know the drill , spot your targets one at a time . Move positions quickly so you dont get focused down by their buddies. Skosk Out!." , the horned brute began jogging into position as thats what his heavy beskaram allowed him. All that could be heard was the stomping and moving of feet and heavy equipment. The yellow eyes of the captain looked through his T-Visor Bucye, he was alert, and ready to hit the main force hard. Thats where he came in, enemy armor would take many mandalorian lives into an early death to manda. The overzealous hunter would not let such an act happen if he could intervene.

The thump of the drop ship coming in to land felt a little odd, Tanasuki often enough flying his own ship or craft when making to a ground battle or being their in advance, flying though potential flack and a quick deployment landing was actually new to him. Upon the main doors opening the blinding natural light of the forest coming into the steel bay, instantly rangers and troopers running out shouting military slang that Tana had no comprehension of. "Perhaps I should have stayed dog fighting, just remembered I have no idea ow to fight in squad combat", the young Jin mused to himself, slowly wandering out of the drop ship, taking heed of the different objectives.

He doubted his presence in the front lines would be of any help to [member="Jessica Med-Beq"], a lone shadow jedi probably not something that would help swing the tide of battle, unless the improbable aged looking blonde needed his skills. [member="Draven Dursden"] was off running around in those Mech suits with his 'dudes' they seemed like quite a tight bunch, Tana's presence would probably be more a liability then help, [member="Josh DragonsFlame"] may have been a good partner, but the man had decided to team up with [member="Charlie"], whom he was trying to avoid for the time being. That just left himself to do what ever.

"Hmmm, if everyone is going to the front line, that means the refugee camp is unprotected, better place to start, though we will have to push through their main line or something, not sure I could easily sneak through that, not with those plants". A power called planet surge if he was correct, quite nasty, made thorn looks likes child play. "Well I guess I'll just hang around Jess, she is the commander and what not, no use rushing in by myself and all", Tana murmured to himself, slowly jogging over to where the blonde commander, not giving mind to those around him just yet.

OBJCTIVE: Destroy the Light

ENEMIES: SJO & ME
Line-Divider.png
In her stolen hybrid star-fighter, a craft resembling something between an old Jedi fighter and a Sith interceptor, Joon's amber eyes peered out from above her face mask.

She wore it distort her voice in all communications with the fellow servants of the Dark Side out to do one thing; destroy the Light. That counted all those who stood in it's glare. The Silver Jedi were the easiest target, and now it seemed the Mandalorian Empire were the perfect puppets to play along with.

But why stop at simply destroying the Jedi? Why not have both sides destroy each other and throw their attempts at peace into rubble. All Joon knew was how to cause death and destruction, and to do it with no mercy or thought to others it would affect. Here she was with those doing the same, escalating the tension between the two and waiting for it to spill over into war.

When one side invaded, others would follow. More and more would join to wipe out the Jedi and the Mandos - the domino effect. Soon they would destroy themselves, and her objective would be complete.

"Bring the fight to the planet," she spoke into her mask, ducking and diving fire in her craft. "Hit the Mando with all you've got, but convey this is from the Jedi and the Light!"

With a finger, she switched channels to the other team of her pirates.

"Lay it on thick to the Jedi. Stick close to them. Act desperate. Beg. They're weak, and will help all in need. Make the Mandos appear to be the butchers they are trying to escape."

Her eyes glowed, and she smiled. This was what she lived for.

War.

"They started to advance on our far left flank"

"Mandos took the bait. Machineguns: open fire on the Mandos, with tanks on our left following suit. Snipers, focus on the demolition teams! As for the tanks on our right, fire repulsor balls at the possible approach paths the enemy may be taking to get to the hilltop. Bombers, don't drop ordnance until all other units have fired. All other support elements: engage them on their exposed flanks, and harass the enemies making for the hilltop"

Sensing that Preliat started to engage those Mandos, the Mandos charged at her flank without artillery support. While they may have had anti-vehicle explosive charges, their range was not great, and before they would even be closing in on the forest itself, they would be met in a sequence first starting with repulsor balls fired from tanks at the edge of the forest on two different vectors: the main force on her left, and the possible approach paths she estimated Mandos could be taking to reach the hilltop. The Mandos would be making their approach towards Jedi positions or staging areas peppered with suppressive fire, delivered by dozens of heavy machineguns firing in alternating six-shot bursts, with mortars being re-positioned close to the forest, and with infantry support readily available among the trees, but not inside the forest proper. Likewise, snipers opened fire at those spotted as demolition teams, aiming at the explosive charges. In the end, the main column was walking right through heavy fire, both suppressive and repulsor balls. And, of course, the missile launchers were spread out and also ready to move out of the forest at a moment's notice should they actually need to be fired.

"Now, bombers, now!"

The enemy facing heavy suppressive fire was made worse by a flight of fighters overhead them, which dropped full-power plasma bomblets while taking care to be dropping ordnance out of blast radius from friendlies. Which, given the 150m blast radius of a full-power plasma bomblet, was absolutely not a trivial exercise. Upon detonation, those bomblets exploded in a display of superheated plasma goo splashing all over the place. For now the Jedi may have an advantage, but she knew that any advantage was likely to be short-lived if they didn't follow through. While the opening stages were just as easy as the early stages of the Siege of the Machine, I have no right whatsoever to assume this is going to be as easy as that engagement has been. Big explosions were outbound indeed, she thought, while battle was already joined at the forefront before there was even ordnance fired in the first place. Here she was hoping that the other elements were actually flanking the Mando elements attacking before they could close in and cause problems at the forest's perimeter. Much like Basaba's Cerberus unit, or Draven's Dudes. Or the rest of the Anvil force, really.

ON THE BOTTOM OF THE YASHA-CLASS!

The 10 cragmaloids hanging from the bottom of the ship enjoyed their view before it was interrupted by the sounds of mortars firing. As one they started to look before finally one of them spotted a grouping of vehicles noting what appeared to be missile trucks the Sergeant smirked before relaying an idea to the other 9 Dar'yaim wielders who all nodded aiming at individual trucks before firing their weapon adding in gravity's pull the enemy would hear a light whistling noise before the explosive rounds impacted upon the trucks hopefully resulting chain reactions as they detonated the missiles there. As they reloaded their attention was snagged by a series of bombers diving towards their allies growling to each other in their language they once more hefted their guns using the advanced sensors in their helmets to plot trajectories before they finally fired leading the bombers so that at least a few of their rounds would hit the leading elements. After the second shot they reloaded once more preparing to find more targets as the same Sergeant sent a message to their liege informing him of the location of SJO forces and estimated numbers.

ON THE GROUND.

Aedan heard the sounds of combat starting and stopped his men halting around him as well as they looked around dropping into crouches as Aedan listened. Finally he lifted up his hand reaching out with the force to see if he could sense where the most dangerous of opponents in the Silver Jedi would be. His eyes snapped open and he gestured to the right they had been moving alongside Skosk force a slight distance away he made a quick circle indicating they would come in from a side before gesturing forward twice. Commander Tusk nodded before holding his hand up than letting it drop forward the Cragmaloids moving forward swiftly at double time jogging swiftly in a loop that should bring them around the forest and towards the enemies right flank. Aedan jogged with his men shutting his saber down he slipped it into its place on his back before he started to reach out drawing information through the force from his men on the bottom of the ship noting what they had done with approval he also knew that the minute they were targeted they would release their mag lock boots and with the ship above him he would have to stop to catch them it would take but a moment to do so. He nodded his head at that plan as he continued to move opening his eyes as he let the anger and rage he felt slowly push the rest of his emotions away his eyes gleaming as more crimson started to fill his eyes the violet in them fading away slowly as it happened. Opening a channel with one of the Mandoalorian ground troop she contacted them. "This is Alor Akaata to all allied forces Clan Akaata is moving to flank the enemy hold fast the skies will be controlled."

Location: Refugee outpost [separate from main base]
Objective: Deliver supplies to “refugees”

The YT-1000 light freighter slipped into the atmosphere of Barataria, luckily before the fireworks started going off. It deftly skimmed over the frozen mountaintops and icicle-lined trees, trying to maintain as small of a blip on the radar as possible. He knew that the Mandalorians would be here soon, so he was going a little faster than cruising speed. Cassius’s brow furrowed as he spotted some signals heading his way – smaller craft, probably fighters, emitting SJO signals. An escort? He didn’t ask for that, nor was he informed of it. He decided to go with it for now.

“Incoming transmission from the refugee settlement,” T-4D4 informed him, head swiveling towards the pilot. “Put it through,” Cassius said, and with the press of a button, the cry for help burst through. Apparently, the situation was a little more dire than they had originally thought. Pressing the transmit button, Cassius responded, “Copy that. We should be there in just a few minutes. Hang on.”

Cassius gunned the throttle, hurtling the ship forward at near-maximum speed. It seemed like they might have a little bit of a fight on their hands after all. The outpost they were going to was smaller, a few kilometers away from the main settlement, but that didn’t mean it wasn’t a target. A lion’s roar echoed around the valley as the Stardust Melody swooped towards its destination.

Within a few minutes, it was within sight, and Cassius started the landing sequence as quickly as the ship would allow. A space just big enough for his ship was available in the middle of what looked like a courtyard, with some shabby looking buildings and a makeshift wall made out of scrap metal the only indications of humanoid life. The light freighter touched down, kicking up some dust and snow, but otherwise it was a smooth landing.

Almost immediately, the boarding ramp lowered, as did the starboard cargo elevator. A few grimy-looking refugees came out of the buildings and started to cart away the supplies, pushing them along with the repulsorlifts. Stepping down the ramp, Cassius nodded to a man that had walked up to the ship, apparently some sort of leader or authority for this outpost.

“You should be good to go with these,” Cassius nodded to the crates being shuttled away. “I’ve been asked to take a look around as well, make sure you’re ready to take the brunt of a Mandalorian attack.”

“Ah, no, we should be good, thanks,” the man gave him a toothy grin and thumbs-up, before beginning to oversee the off-loading of the supplies.

Cassius’s brow furrowed. Did he not just receive a transmission that they were in desperate need? He would have thought that they would leap at the chance for more help, especially since he’d brought a ship with some weapons on it. Doing a quick scan of the area, Cassius couldn’t help but feel something was wrong. A few men, some of whom already looked armed, were staring them down, stepping slowly and getting in a loose semi-circle formation around the ship.

“Are you sure?” Cassius asked, taking a step forward. “If I could just take a look around...”

Metal scraping against leather. Tibanna gas charges powering on. Safeties clicking off. Before Cassius could even blink, there were six different weapons pointed at their group, blaster pistols and rifles alike. Cassius nearly reached for his own blaster, but froze his hand before he could do so. His eyes darted back and forth between the supposed refugees now staring them down with the barrels of their weapons. His hands hovered over his weapons, his blaster and his lightsaber, unsure of which one to draw, or whether he could even do so without taking a blaster bolt to the head.

He was sure about one thing, though: these guys weren’t refugees.

The soft whirr of actuator’s sounded as Asaraa leant backwards, staring up at the wookie who had approached her. He towered over here, even in her armour, a giant staring down at her. Even though that presence, the almost overwhelming feeling he exuded there was a trace of something else, a thread of uncertainty that seemed to weave through his aura. Not exactly a weakness, but something more natural. It was the same feeling she was getting from everyone else in the armoury, a sense of bewildered surprise. The attack had taken everyone by surprise and if there was one person you didn’t want to face on the battlefield it was a Mandalorian. An entire fleet of them definitely counted as worst nightmare scenarios.

Pulling her thoughts back to the present the young woman offered the wookie a small mile. “umm not yet, mostly people just tend to fall together and find a group…” her voice trailed off as [member="Andorreth Vikar"] approached the pair. The padawan pushed herself up to her feet as she gestured to the helmet of her Aegis armour that lay on the bench next to her. A grimace touched her face at how distant her actions felt, the helmet wavering slightly before she plucked it out of the air. She knew from her work that Andorreth wasn’t just any old Jedi but the leader of the Silver Shadows someone worthy of respect. A soft smile touched her lips and she nodded her head, gesturing over at [member="Iakchi"] standing next to her. “We were just talking about that actually, neither of us are really sure who or what we’re meant to be doing down there so...” She heard the shudder as the Jedi forces started to engage, “sounds like a plan.”

Enemies: They say the ME I don't believe the voices though

Looking towards Asaraa and her Wookiee friend I nodded at her saying she was unsure what they'd be doing down there. "First thing I'd recommend? Don't trust the reports, information can be fabricated and the fact that Mandalorians fired on a planet of refugees is Osik there'd be no challenge in that for them. I think it likely that the refugees aren't the innocent people we've been led to believe. Easier to scavenge the battlefield when your enemies tear each other apart."

Sighing I said "In any case I'm headed to my fighter and there's enough room for the two of you. Though it might be a little cozy." Winking at Asaraa I headed down the hall and made my way to a private hangar where The Druid's Spear sat. Pointing to her I said "It's an Archaic Fighter, staff weapons and missiles loaded with metal fragments. Actual flak weaponry instead of just energy weapons. Go ahead and load up we'll be getting airborne shortly." Stashing the weapons into a compartment below the cockpit I heard them click into the magnetic deployment locks. Climbing up into the cockpit I saw the soft lights of the controls flick to life. Soft blues, greens, and lavenders, along with a pink to match Asaraa's hair. Pulling my helm on I linked it to the controls then said "Link into the squad comms Asaraa, there's a headset for your friend. The staffs are essentially lightning rods to store Force energies. Everything else is fairly self-explanatory, just so you're aware the plan is going to be drawing fighters on our tail to the planet where everything is happening. The druid's spear is far more maneuverable in atmo. You're going to be my secondary gunner, handling energy weapons which includes feeling with The Force for systems on opposing fighters. You're my second set of eyes and ears and I trust you to have my back. Let's get under way Asaraa...."

With that I began powering up the engines and engaged the Comms for the Jedi Fleet. "Vespera to Silver Jedi fighters we're outbound to aid in space and ground air support. May the Force be with us." Triggering the engines we rocketed out into the void of space to draw some fire and ground a few Mando'ade without killing them.

Gray
When the transport ships got close to the surface, Gray felt his connection to the force around him get cut off. The Braal were up and running it seemed. He let his driver know that he was blind for right now, but went back to focusing on things. He might not be able to use the force right now, but he was still able to hold onto what he had built up until now. That was good, but it did annoy him. He wanted to build it up even further before they got going. Guess this meant he was going to have to do it on the ride to this base.

The feeling of the ships landing vibrated through Gray's legs. That was the signal to take his position. The sound of the ramps going down met his ears. He said to the driver after what he judged had to be down enough, " Go." There was but a moment's hesitation from his clansman before the speeder took off. The ramp was down just enough and they went soaring into the air like they were going to do flip tricks. The sound of the motor and the wind whipping around them was all Gray was aware of until they were outside of the range of the braal. As soon as his connection outside of himself was back, Gray began to built the force up inside of him even more.

It took a few minutes, but the driver told Gray over the com that the base was in sight. The main gate in seemed to be on a different side from them. " Looks like we need to find the way in alor Gray." The driver said. Gray could feel a force signature he knew coming from the base as he just remained silent. It was faint but it was definitely the Australis girl. He said after a couple of seconds, " Keep going. When I say when, throw me off the speeder." A sensation of shock came from the driver but he got a confirmation.

Gray shortened up his rifle to its most compact form and placed it onto the weapon holder behind his shield. He got it positioned on his left arm and got himself standing up on the speeder in a crouched stance. As they got closer and closer to the walls of the base, Gray focused further and further. He was running off of instinct now in fact. As soon as the feeling to jump hit him, he yelled out, " Now!" The driver whipped the speeder to the side so all of its weight and momentum was directed at Gray. He leapt forward with all of it and directed a massive burst of force power behind him. Gray went soaring like an artillery shell high in the sky right at the base.

When Gray could see through his force sight that he was almost to the wall, he positioned the shield in front of him and began to strengthen his all of his physical attributes to their max. The pirates seemed to notice his arrival a little too late as they began to fire at him when he was near the wall. He came crashing into one that hadn't moved away in time. A squishing, crunching sound erupted beneath Gray as he landed. His shield withstood as much of the impact as it could, but it was damaged beyond repair.

Rolling forward while letting go of the shield and grabbing his rifle, Gray came up to his feet with unnatural speed. He screamed out to all of the pirates as he shot to kill, " BRING ME MY DAUGHTER!!!" The pirates were confused as they desperately fired at him. A couple of shots grazed his armor but only left marks without any damage done. He channeled the force into his sword on his back and expanded its effects. An aura that deflected all blaster fire aimed at him was now surrounding him. A primal howl was escaping his lips as he moved into the base.

A sealed blast door all that was between Gray and the interior now. He loaded a thermal into his rifle attachment and launched it as he continued to advance as quickly as he could. It hit and exploded but didn't do more than a dent. He didn't care. The moment he got to the door he punched the door. A massive burst of raw power was behind it and sent the door flying off down the corridor. He didn't stop. He could feel Cassi's signature better now but also could feel another one. It was simple and instinctive. It was filled with fear, anger, and an overwhelming desire to survive. A realization came over Gray the moment he felt it. It was the first time he had felt it and he was likely the first one to ever feel it. It was his granddaughter. She was either already born or being born. It didn't matter which. He was going straight for her and her mother. He was going straight for his family and death and destruction was all that awaited anyone or anything that got in his way.

Raxis Forces
Rancor and Lightning Company got themselves into position as the transport landed. They knew what was at stake and nothing was going to prevent them from succeeding in their mission. Pirates dared to capture their alor's daughter, their Mand'alor, and Jedi were arrogant enough to help them. They were fully prepared to take out anyone who wasn't a Mandalorian that got in their way. They just needed to be let loose so they could go to war and remind these heretics why you didn't get on the wrong side of Mandalorians.

They were prepared for blaster fire, artillery shells, and explosions as the ramp went down, but they were not prepared for what happened. Their alor's speeder took off before the ramp was even down all the way. The captain of Rancor squad said over the coms, " Did alor Gray just...?" The captain of Lightning Company responded back, " Yup. Looks like yall will have to hoof it hard to catch up and clean up the mess." A sigh came from the Rancor captain. " That we do. All Rancor Company, double time to that base! We have vod to rescue and an alor to back up!" They all began to move as fast as they could towards the ramp.

The ramp was still not down yet as Raxis clansmen were leaping from it to the ground or soaring out of it on speeders. Their alor wasn't going to wait so neither were they. Rancor Company headed straight for the base as fast as their feet could carry them. It wasn't the most ideal method of getting there but it was the fastest one they had available to them. They had lost sight of their alor early on though, but by the time they were half way there they met up with the speeder he had been on. The driver went along beside them matching their pace and informed them of what their alor had done. Crazy as always it seemed. Fatigue was already setting in, but they weren't going to stop until they got all the way there.

Lightning Company had taken a different mission on at the direction of their captain. They all scattered into every direction but the base. The captain got on the Mandalorian coms and said over it to Kaine, " Australis alor Kaine, the Raxis Lightning Company is going to find the locations of the enemy for you. Wait for our pings then give them a little kiss for me. Also Alor Gray is already in the pirate base it seems. Not sure how he did it but according to his driver he went flying into the place like an artillery shell." With that he stopped the message. They all continued forward and soon found themselves around the pirate base. They were making good time and distance.

So Draven went with ignoring Yuroic and going in head first. It was reckless and Yuroic knew that he would have to arrange a meeting with the boy to talk more about the actions Draven were taking. How they were not a positive reflection of what the Silver Jedi Order stood for or what Jedi represented. Before Yuroic could think more on what he would say, the attack came. It was an unusual style of attack, 'nature' attacking people however Yuroic could sense the presence of the Dark Side, it tainted the air as he swirled his blade slashing at any 'roots' that attempted to trap or attack him. His golden blades were swift and certain in their movements as Yuroic barely broke his stride.

Continuing his objective of reaching the refugee camp, Yuroic ignored the many forces that were gathering. Jessica's forces and several other faction groups were handing the main force of the army. He noticed the misspelled sign stuck on the outside of the base, it gave a large warning sign to Yuroic going inside. He inhaled deeply as he looked around, scratching the back of his head as Yuroic paused to think about the situation. Surely the Silver Order would have been able to notice if the signal wasn't legitimate, he also would be hopeful that there would be a dialogue between the Mandalorian Empire and the Silver Jedi Order, in case this call for help was something it was not.

Yuroic decided to be cautious as he entered the base. Gripping his Lightsaber tightly as he heard a Mandalorian screaming for his daughters. Raising an eyebrow, Yuroic stayed in the shadows for a moment. Watching as the door to the base was blasted open, Yuroic saw his opportunity to enter and gain insight to what was really going on at this 'refugee' base. Switching his Lightsaber off, Yuroic entered the base after a short while, leaving the Mandalorian on his own quest for his daughters. Yuroic searched out with the Force to get a feel for the base and an idea of who was around and if there were any other Silver Jedi allies.

Things were definitely not what they were lead to believe.

"Hotelier, one thing is for sure, our ground forces have caught the Mandos' with their pants down - and it seems those refugees aren't actually refugees"

"Move up in orbit: Anvil and Raider strike groups can take it from there, and microjump aft of a target of opportunity. However, we have no idea as to exactly what those targets of opportunity might be, only their general direction and areas"

With bomblet explosions detonating somewhere within visual range of her squadron, and some shots falling from the sky narrowly missing her craft, leaving small holes in the ground afterward, Varindar swiftly moved out of the main ground combat zone, and soared through atmosphere as fast as her craft could. It was only then that she decided that a microjump, as risky as it can get in a heavily jammed environment, was the least she could do to help her fellow Silvers fight these Mandos in this theater. The Dathomirian expected that she may not be able to initiate an attack immediately, and hence charged a bomblet to full power so that, once she is actually able to do so, she would be able to hit that target of opportunity hard and fast, regardless of what that is. Once the squadron of Chiloon-IIIs broke atmosphere, the process of microjumping began in earnest. Everyone in the squadron was nervously watching the blue streaks of light for a second or two. And, of course, with such heavy jamming, all eight fighters were scattered but they made it out of that microjump alive, and some distance aft of any such "target of opportunity" her squadron may as well be firing at.

"Hotelier Squadron, on me; stay in a loose formation due to our ordnance"

"Copy, Hotelier"

Caelag took the offered hand, securing herself in as best she could in preparation for quite the harrowing experience. She assumed she understood what was to happen, but underestimated it by quite the large margin. From the moment their descent began, Caelag having only barely managed to ensure her helmet was on tight, it was a struggle to not lose her stomach. Though to her credit, she remained awake the entire drop, right through to the end. Though unlike her gracious guide, it took her a few moments to reorient herself with the situation. About long enough for Basaba to send someone flying with their fist. Well, couldn't let her be the only one showing off.

The Miraluka dismounted, and leveled her rifle at one of the three not sent soaring skyward. The X-52 was a beast of a weapon, which the poor sod on the other end quickly learned. The distinct high pitched blast, at this distance, slammed into them hard enough to knock them back quite a ways, landing with a thump onto their backside. Of course firing from a standing position hurt like you wouldn't believe, but Caelag's natural Force capabilities lent her the strength to do it and not break from the recoil. "I would suggest you stand down instead. Otherwise I'd be glad to turn your warmongering head into my next target." Rifle turned to the next, to emphasize the threat.

Of course even slightly reducing the distance would mean she would have to rely on Basaba to stay safe, as she doubted she could react in time. But a woman who used such a ridiculous weapon with such ease would unsettle many a man, she was relatively certain of that.

Basaba looked at the miraluka and she had to admit for being blind she was decently impressive. The pods were coming down and bringing in the equipment with a look on her face. A smirk under the helmet when she was walking towards the wardroid. "Well done." She said it before she spoke. "Jappa, find and smash." THe wardroid groaned as it was moving, massive and with rudimentry thoughts to attack and defend. She could work with that when the war droids were assembled in the trees. Large and built to break things, the other pods of equipment were set up as they needed it with the sound in the distance when she spoke towards Caelag.

"Tell me. Have you even heard the sounds of real chaos." She said it and looked up.. and p and up as it was arriving. The troopers and engineers working on the platform as the weapons were getting trained and it was massive. Herself going into it so that they would be able to look over, so that they would be able to go into the platform. She had the size of it as the massive siege engine was lubering forward through the trees smashing and rolling over most of what she was seeing. Basaba stood there when she had her rifle out, checked her plasma cannon and sniper rifle.. then her blades. "Lets move, you'll have a better perch on top."

Liuna

L
Location: Refugee outpost [separate from main base]
Objective: Deliver supplies to “refugees”
Gear:
Liuna watched through the viewport as the icy landscape of Barataria came into view.

As the transmissions were put through, the Mirialan’s brows rose slowly as she listened and her frame straightened. Perhaps things here were much worse than they’d been told. No matter, they had all the things that the refugees at the outpost would need – it was definitely enough to keep them going until a larger shipment could be provided. Once Cassius had started the landing sequence, Liuna moved to grab her things.

Already dressed in her shadow armor with a leather jacket over the top, she just needed to pick up her weapons. True, she didn’t anticipate needing any heavy firepower today – but she decided that she better err on the side of caution. Liuna could hazard a guess that supplies were precious in a place like this, she didn’t want to be caught off guard by any marauders that might want to snatch the supplies right out of the refugee’s hands.

Stepping down the ramp, she came to stand next to Cassius, dark eyes scanning the area. As the pilot conversed, Liuna took in their surroundings. Indeed there were some small structures, but surely not enough to house very many refugees. There also seemed to be an abundance of armed men, some of which were now converging on their position. Liuna’s head cocked to the side, eyes narrowed.

The Mirialan was quick, but even she couldn’t react fast enough.

Watching as the supposed refugees drew weapons, she brought her hand to her hip, instinctively reaching for her blaster pistol. But her hand was forced to hover there motionless for the time being. There was something very wrong here. By the looks of things, these people were not refugees at all. They didn’t need help – but that didn’t mean that they wouldn’t want a load of supplies and a very fast ship, both of which had just been delivered to them. Liuna swallowed hard, edging towards Cassius ever slightly.

She’d been about to nudge him with her elbow, but movement behind drew her attention. A gruff man leveled his gun at Liuna, and she ducked down swiftly right before his finger pulled the trigger. Though she did not have the force like her counterpart, she had been trained to be sharp and alert. Swiftly bringing her sweeper off her shoulder, she returned fire in rapid succession – hitting the first man square in the chest and nicking the one beside him on the shoulder.

They hadn’t come here looking for a brawl, but it looked like they were definitely going to need to fight their way out.

As the plants surged around the Jedi forces, Nemesis watched from the canopy within the tree tops. Just in the safety of a clearning a troop stopped and formed up into an impressive display of coordination. He allowed a slight nod to the members of the group, a begrudgingly acknowledgement of the discipline required to keep your wits about you in war. Constant training was required to attain such readiness on the battlefield.

Unfortunately it could not be allowed to continue.

Reaching beneath his jacket he pulled a single cylinder free. With a light toss the hilt flew through the air caught in the invisible grip of telekinesis. The ruby blade burst into existence as it wove intricately around the massive trees lining the forest. As the hilt was called once more to his hand he felt the wind sweeping through the trees.

With a groan the trees began to fall directly into the clearing. Over a dozen massive trees falling directly for the phalanx, their commander, [member="Draven Dursden"] the target of the tree Nemesis was currently riding down to the ground. Leaping from the tree he flipped from his perch as the trunks collided. Landing behind the troop in a crouch, his suit still impeccable.
