Blinking always made Kira feel as if she were freefalling in a fairride. It was as much of a rush and adrenaline high as it was edged in a slight kiss of fear. She knew all things could be done through the power of the Force, but this one delighted her as much as it alarmed her. Her arms were wrapped tightly around Sol's shoulders, his helm held in a white knuckle grip between her hands.

Her face had been tucked within the crook of his neck, and once they arrived, she drew from it. The wave of panic would be enough to send any empath to their knees in the negative emotion. She was glad she didn't have to bear with that. Panic only lead to fear, and fear would lead to doing things and acting without thinking.

She was still held in his arms, the armorweave of his cloak half wrapped around her. With all her tiny size, she would appear like a younglin in his arms.

The woes of being so short!

Soliael and Kira now stood in the very central courtyard of Kachiro city, startled Wookiees and a few scrambling Republic soldiers gathering around the pair of them. They didn't exactly know what to make of the pair, and a few actually pointed weapons at Kira and Soliael, until the latter gave them a hard glare.

One, a tiny Jedi Master, the other a huge man wearing the armor of a Crusader.

It was hard to tell what they were about.

“My helmet.” He prompted Kira whom he was still holding, though he gently placed her onto the ground, leaning down so that she would finish putting together his armor.

After all, he couldn't fight while holding her.

Anja's heart continued to beat as she swiftly made her way through the forest, although she initially was sprinting the Host Lord decided to tread carefully to avoid traps and conserve stamina. Her endurance was perhaps her greatest strengths as her Sith Magic was focused on more intricate abilities that distracted from combat. The air was strong with the force, she felt numerous powerful entities in the city itself and those lesser ones were masked by them. She had a difficult time controlling her own signature, something she didn't realize was possible for a very long time. One thing was clear -- she swore she felt a familiar presence, one that faintly resembled the man she met near a beach, it seemed silly but it was true. It was there and then it was gone.

Gripping her blade tightly, Anja slowly approached the outskirts of the great tree which spanned a distance far greater than many things she's witnessed in her lifetime. It was truly humbling experience and made familiar words echo in her head. "Do not give up on the exotic so easily.", she shook her head slightly but not to get rid of the thought; it was merely a reaction.

She breathed softly to herself, the sound of her breath clearing her helmet's respirator.

"Who are you?", now wasn't that a familiar question?

Kira went sliding down as Soliel set her down upon the ground. One hand would wave to the Wookiees as she said "Hey!! It's okay! We are friendlies!!! I'm Jedi Master Kira Liadain!"

There were still some very wary looks. Who could blame them? The alarm had been blasted out throughout the city to prepare for what was to come. Already, word would likely start to spread about the Sith approaching. They all had to move fast.

Having people suddenly appear in the middle of the courtyard would make anyone a mite bit touchy.

Kira would bring up his helmet, staring up at Soliael's face. She would carefully slip it over his head, bringing it down until the edges of the helm met the collar of his armor. Her fingers would move across the cool metal, making sure it was secured correctly and snugly. A mild expression of depression and a slumping of her shoulders would relay her disappointment. As a massive LARPer of various Hologames, she had been really looking forward to having some fun with this when she found out he had his crusader armor with him.

....dangit!

So much for roleplaying... Responsibilities await!

"How's that?" she'd ask him.

Ta'mur Rokar perched up high in one of the great trees of the lush forested area. This climate suited him well. He had spent much time with the wookiees and even saw many as his brothers. He had found peace in the trees and the Sith were not going to take it from him.

He looked into the horizon noting the transports releasing the vile Vong and the heinous Sith spawn. This was going to be a war and he would directly take it to them.

A Wookiee with black dread fur and one with brown covered in wooden beads approached him quietly from the right, << Chebrywaroo and Ralkyshalo, my friends.>> he said in their language with a weary smile. <<The Sith have brought war to your planet.>> Chebrywaroo let out a sorrowful growl while Ralkyshalo seemed angry. <<Chebrywaroo, go.... inform the Jedi at the stronghold of what we have witnessed.>> and Chebrywaroo left without any hesitation. <<Ralkyshalo, we must unite the clans to cleanse your home.>> Ralkyshalo nodded and he too began swinging through the trees. Ta'mur sat crouched for another minute just staring at the villains. "My the Force be on our side." He got up and he moved just as easily through the trees as his Wookiee compatriots.

Shule was running short of fresh descriptors. Unbidden, his mind attempted to process the oncoming horde with the same metaphors that Jedi defenders had used for centuries. Much as he disliked the mundanity of old familiar imagery, he didn't have the spare attention to come up with anything better than waves, swarms, tides, infections, shrouds, or nightfall. Matters of substance competed for his attention and won.

"So this is progress." His knuckles whitened on the walltop's edge. "They've worked harder than the Republic; they've adapted to everything the Republic has deployed. If they weren't here to take everything from the innocent, I'd almost say they deserved their victory."

An unnatural aura thickened the air, to his senses if not to the wookiees'. The dark side really did cloud everything, and the One Sith appeared to have weaponized that principle. Deep in his gut, an old hunger and an old fury requested his attention as they hadn't in a couple of years now. Jal Shey light armor, belt, robes and gloves, Mentor-grade, blunted the worst of it and bolstered clarity of thought, but only in his immediate vicinity. And the curved sabre at his belt, the only weapon he carried save for a Republic service blaster, was nothing tactically special, no game-changer unless he used it right and managed to occupy the right Lords. He was talking to himself; he had no status or rank here, and the Wookiee defenders would be more effective without his fumbling attempts at tactical advice.

He had rarely felt more extraneous or less important. Not in seventy decades of thoroughly cursed life, in one form or another. By another name, in another life, he'd been a man of titles and ranks and powers. He'd been feared. He didn't miss any of it, except for his last wife, who'd died with him at the hands of the Tion Hegemony's secret masters.

He had hoped to stay dead with her, trapped in Kryptus' blade Daesumnor. Instead he'd become someone else again, sword or no sword. He'd become a man comfortable with mediocrity and meekness, even if the sabre at his belt had matched or humbled-

But that was the old pride talking, the old self-centrism, prompted by the new dark nexus. And he would not be that man again.

This was not how she'd imagined her first encounter with Sith would end up. In fact, she was only at Kashyyyk because someone had insisted that she visit the world. They said it was dangerous, but absolutely beautiful. She certainly did find it beautiful, and she thought it might make a worthy place for her people to call home if the Wookie's allowed it, but she hadn't really gotten the chance to truly explore the place. It hadn't been long after the Representative arrived that the warning klaxons sounded and they were under attack from hostile forces.

At first she'd been unsure of what to do, but she realized that she wasn't just curious about the world, she was curious about who these attackers were as well. On top of that, she didn't want to see her new friends be killed or injured, and she'd heard the stories of what happened to her species when the Vesper was attacked by marauders those many years ago. There hadn't been any survivors on the ship. She didn't want to see that happen here.

She wasn't trained in the use of the Force as of yet, but she knew that she could touch it. She'd done so in limited capacities before. At the moment, though, she was not prepared for the kind of duty that fighting a Sith would require. She was ill trained for it. She could help to make sure that the walls remained unbreached, however, and she did know rather well how to use a sniper rifle thanks to one of the worlds she visited having a rather interesting tournament. She'd rather enjoyed that world, though she was certain she would never get to travel there again. Or, if she did, it wouldn't be any time in the near future.

As she approached the walls, she noticed a whole line of droids standing about with no one really directing them. She hadn't seen the likes of these droids before. Approaching them quizzically, she studied them in depth, and determined that these were warrior droids. Battle droids. A quick glance around told her that no one was commanding them.

"Droids, I am Representative T-Eya Carn of the Taskai people. I am taking charge of you, pending any protocol that says I cannot. Please escort me to the walls where you will take up defensive positions and hold the walls against enemy intrusion."

Command protocol accepted. Escorting.

T-Eya was pleasantly surprised that they obeyed her. She pulled the sniper rifle from where it was slung over her shoulder and walked to the wall where she bent down on one knee beside a crenellation and propped the sniper up. As she sighted in the scope, the droids moved to their positions, and she noticed that one type took up arms while the other crouched down to wait. She wondered why it seemed like those ones were keen to not show their positions yet. They must have some sort of special programming. Oh well. She sighted in her scope and waited for the enemy to show themselves. No one would get to the wall if she could help it.

She was a fool to jump on the bandwagon when she assisted in destroying the original Sith Empire years back. Though she was very much the perceptive one, and knew that the Sith were still a threat. Yet, she didn't need the Force to augument her intuition to figure that out, history had proven so time and time again. Pest seem to always return. Though after years of absence from the Jedi scene she returned to aid her brothers and sisters. Watching on originally the warfare, it wasn't until now that she decided to place herself back on the frontlines. She could at least do that much.

Standing amongst her contemporaries in the control center, she had changed her usual attiire into her Voice of the Force armor, specifically made to play off her strengths and to cover her weaknesses. The room was dimly lit, and shimmering blue images sprouted to life in its center. The table where things were being coordinated. There were many, and each slide showed a different area. This planning would prove vital to their success....hopefully. They had come up with a plan, and it was centered around them maintaining control.

These...One Sith...they were unlike any adversary she had faced before. They had a unity, a trait that was common amongst the Republic and its Jedi before. They needed to get that back, whomever was leading the opposing Forces hadn't the brain of the usual enemy she was use to, they made use of their resources and weren't running around like savage animals with a thirst for an end of democracy.

She however put aside those thoughts, the quicker they could coordinate, the better. She herself didn't want to be stuck holding the defense forever, at some point, if viable, they would need to press the offense.

She spoke to her contemporaries, "Unity, wins war gentlemen. Now, if your quite finish bickering we have a battle to begin.

Khan stood with other preparing Sith within the One Sith dropships, watching through large viewports as the green of the planet below got closer. He had not been trained for long, yet, and many would think he was not ready to partake in actual war- but he was eager to prove himself. The young Felactian tightened his grip on the vibrosword held in his hand, watching as the Worshyr trees below became closer. He had little gear with him- only loosely fitting robes, common among the Sith, and a standard vibroblade. He was not yet trusted with a lightsaber, though he had little idea how to properly use either. He did not appear intimidating in the least- fairly short compared to most of the Sith, frail and thin. Still those stood near him could sense the Force around him. Strong with him, though he had little idea how to use it for more then the most basic applications. Still, he was confident. Most likely over confident, yes, but confident nontheless. He would prove himself soon enough.

The time had come for the invasion of Kashyyyk, homeworld to the legendary Wookies, and Darth Venefica had prepared herself both physically and mentally for the invasion. Unlike Mannan, she was a mere Acolyte struggling to find and command her powers. Now she was a Sith Knight, a true instrument of death in the service of the One Sith, ready to slaughter any and all that opposed her and her family. The voices in her head remained quiet but for how long? She knew the moment the action started they would be broadcasting five different opinions of how she should conduct herself, and this slightly annoyed her but there was nothing she could do. She had failed in expelling them from her mind and now all six, including herself, shared one mind. It was madness, but it was a beautiful madness.

As the shuttle swayed back and forth, she stole quick and brief glances out the side viewport trying to get a perspective of what was going on in the outside world. There was little to none in ways of radio chatter, which led her to believe that the invasion had kicked off without a hitch. But the Jedi, shortsighted and fools that they were, were well aware of their impending doom and had ample time to prepare their defenses. And what of the Wookies? Would they fight to the end or as history has shown repeatedly, becoming walking slaves of fur?

With a single chirp and three rapid flashes of green light dancing through the dropship, they had reached their LZ. Darth Venefica turned to her personal squad, Nightshade, and began ordering them off the craft and to implement the leap frog technique, the first wave to protect the next wave and so forth until all were of the ship. She stood alone on the dropship waiting for the last of her men to disembark and then she too stepped into the unfamiliar world. Her momentary reprieve from the voices was broken when Darth Portia, the Cathar Sith Lord, spoke first. "Remember young Sith, we are with you. Together victory will be ours."

She approached [member="Lady Exedō"], nodded her head slightly. "Your orders, mi'lady?"

The armor sealed itself, a slight hiss coming from the collar as the two ends met.

“Perfect.” He said with a smile.

A firm nod to her, then stood to his full height. Soliael towered over Kira and stood nearly on par with some of the Wookiees within the crowd. They especially eyed him wearily, they had never seen anything like him before. Armor was not common in Wookiee Culture, especially armor like Soliael wore.

It would likely remind them of the Sith themselves, so taken with wearing armor of phrik or even beskar. Soliael looked at each of them in turn, then down at Kira. He frowned behind his helmet, stepping towards the crowd.

He moved like a tiger ready to pounce.

The wall of soldiers that he moved towards all took a step back, fear running across their faces and into their eyes. The wookiees at their sides stood steadfast, a few of them gripping Republic Guard by the shoulder and pushing them forward. A few of the steadied themselves, but Soliael looked gazed at them, studying.

Concern would rush through the bond, and Soliael turned back to Kira, speaking in a hushed tone. “They're afraid.”

Kashyyk. She had come with her master, [member="Kana Truden"]. Likewise, it seemed as though the Sith had made their next target known. Their presence wafted through the air. It made her skin crawl with angst. Here we go again. Kana headed back towards the ship, likely to gear up. Sera had begun her requisition for a suit of her own, however it was not yet ready, and thus it would need to wait until after. Standing tall around the entirety of the planet were the beautiful wroshyr trees.

Another planet destined to suffer the burning embrace of the One Sith.
We shall see.

Recalling back to Manaan where Kana had received substantial wounds at the hand of @Revenance while she was off in another quadrant of the city, she wasn't interested in looking on as that was revisited. She would remain close by on this day. Kana did utter any words as she ran off, but she would have time to prepare before the coming tides of war. Sera closed her eyes, sat down at the mouth of the stronghold's main entrance, and quieted her mind and the world aroudn her. Her head tilted down as her lekku wrapped around her shoulders.

She reached out through the Force to Kana's mind, whispering with her new talent. "Master, I will be close. Should you need me, I will be there. Don't be stubborn about it either!"

Kian Karr held the breath for a few moments and then let it out, repeating the process several times. Breath in, hold, breath out, breath in, hold, breath out. He could feel the force flowing through him, feel it calming him. He pushed aside any stray thoughts. He was focused on the here and the now. Lifting the durasteel helment he snapped it in place over his head, covering his face and head in the head piece of the C-1000 Anti-Ox armor developed for use by the Kel Dors. As he sealed the helmet he felt the touch of his apprentice’s mind and he wished luck to [member="Elizie Adasca"] as well. He didn’t like being at a different objective then his student, but he understood the necessity of spreading their forces out to face the onslaught of the One Sith. Kian’s former apprentice, now Knight, [member="Varus Shatterstar"] would be with him as would his current apprentice [member="Ayden Quell"].

Rising up, Kian felt the added weight of his helmet and the Jedi Shadow Armor and stretched a bit. His Jedi Shadow Robes were a similar weight, but the helmet felt different. He didn’t typically wear it into combat, but today he felt it best. This would be a battle on a grander scale than even Manaan and Kian needed every advantage he could get.

“Jedi Karr, the turrets are manned and the troops are moving into position.” The young female officer said to Kian and he nodded to her.

“Thank you, commander.” Kian said and the soldier was off. He could feel them in the force, the soldiers. They were a mix of fear, excitement, and resolution. It was a good cocktail to have going into battle. Word had reached the Republic of the troop movements of the One Sith, allowing them to get to Kashyyyk ahead of them, but the sheer size of the One Sith invasionary force was impressive.

This battle would be a decisive one.

Kian pressed a button on his utility belt and tactical displays passed before his eyes on the HUD screen inside the mask. The troops in his sector of the Stronghold were indeed getting into position. They would hold the bridges at all cost, they would keep the One Sith from entering the stronghold or from destroying it.

Unlike Cryax, her feud wasn't a personal one. To her, this was simply another battle for the Red Ravens, or in this case their allies, the Sith. But this time, her opponents would be more skilled than the average foot soldier or commando. No, she would be fighting Jedi. Having belonged to the Order once upon a time herself, years ago, she had something of a familiarity with them that not many others did. That didn't change the fact that she would treat them as any other adversary, albeit one that deserved a bit more respect. Where most others would have been at least mildly worried about clashing with a Jedi Master being only an apprentice herself, she was anticipating any future fights.

Wearing only her own, darker colored and slightly more form fitting modification of the Jedi robes, she'd forgone any armor for the sake of speed and maneuverability. Being an Ataru and Djem So user, those would be her greatest assets. Unsurprisingly, her lightsaber was clipped at her waist, blaster pistol on her hip and vibroblade in her boot as an extra precaution, though she planned on having no cause to use either. There was nothing about her appearance to note, except for the faint, almost unnoticeable amber tint to her typically hazel green gaze, the only outward sign of her descent to the dark side.

Her gaze cut to Cryax as she sensed something vaguely off about him in the form of a subtle, almost tangible bloodlust. It could be attributed to the death of one Lysle Rigger, a man she'd known as one of the heads of the Ravens before he left the organization for other pursuits, leaving the current Chiss president to take over in his wake. "Something bothering you? Don't bother trying to brush it off, because you know that I can sense it." Her tone didn't brook much of an argument, her usual sarcastic edge replaced by the calm demeanor that only lasted for as long as was necessary before the battlefield was scoped out.

All told she was surprisingly calm where she would have been the one cracking jokes to ease the tension, which could be attributed at least somewhat to her turn to the darkness. It wasn't viewed as much of a detriment in her eyes, nor an advantage. It simply was, just as anything else. "You should try to relax a bit. You'd think this would be like just another day for you, after the fun we've been having lately."

They're afraid.

Well that was putting it lightly. Kira would plant herself in front of Soliael, his sole ambassador for the present time. Both hands went up, trying to calm them. The Angraal crystal in her Necklace kept a measure of focus and calm to the Jedi Master, enough for her to be able to try and sooth whatever fears came.

"Again... I'm Kira. Jedi Master Kira Liadain." she would then gesture to the man in crusader armor behind her. "This is Sol. He's a friend. We are here to help." Her lips would purse. This would be easier if there were other Jedi around who knew them. Her eyes would start to pan around, looking for anyone who might be familiar. However, in the panic setting in with the approaching Sith Forces, she couldn't find a familiar face.

"Beans!" she'd curse under her breath, giving a sheepish grin to a few of the Wookiees who had bowcasters aimed at them.

She gave a slight wince, her voice twisting into a comical expression.

"Parlay?"

If it weren't for their loathsome government's ineptitude and failure to defend itself multiple times, Tyrin would have been defending this laughable little tree house. He did, after all, see more things he disliked in this depraved horde of Yuuzhan-Vong than he did anywhere else. But, Sith were Sith, and he felt he had an obligation to render assistance to his peers where he could. For all their shortcomings, continued collaboration with extra-galactic sadomasochistic mutants being the least of their flaws, they were still a potent force for change in this galaxy. Change that Adekos would rather influence than oppose. Even if he didn't quite have a say in steering things, it was better to be on the winning team than the Republic.

The Umbaran wasn't peculiarly armed or armored. Just light padded armor, suitable for absorbing punches and so forth. A molytex vest would keep him from suffering fatal chest wounds from blasters and some slugthrowers, provided he wasn't shot at point blank range. He also had his lightsaber- electrum decorated hilt, Qixoni crystal. Again, nothing too out of the ordinary. Except for maybe the wrist blaster concealed on his person. Dirty tricks ended fights faster, and Adekos was all about ending this conflict as quickly as possible.

He slithered discretely away from the dropship that deposited him and a few others on this... Tree bridge. Adekos was skeptical of any bridge not made out of actual construction materials, but if it could sustain the horde of walkers and soldiers marching ahead of him, such skepticism was probably unfounded. He moved innocuously alongside the rest of the troops, simply waiting for the first real engagements to start.

Music: The Violation by Fleshgod Apocalypse

It started with a thunderous boom that echoed across the land like the roar of a might behemoth, and in the short time after the roar subsided the skies would swirl and blacken, and then suddenly come alight with a hellish glow as the clouds split and great metal pods wreathed in a horrific flame began to descend like a firestorm. In great number they blotted out the sun, and these metal fireballs were joined by great swaths of organic Yorik-trema hurled towards the same hell down below. The metal pods constantly adjusted their course so that they could land with pin-point accuracy at wherever they chose to land, and right now they were all looking to land a good distance away from the fortress of Yugwaaargh. Thus, they would land down at the ground below the mighty Wroshyr trees, and as the pods crashed into the ground with the force of an artillery shell, the doors were already popping off, and the black-clad soldiers of the Blackblade Guard streaming out in squads upon squads into the forest.

These soldiers were specifically equipped to battle in the forests of Kashyyyk, and thus were all equipped with wrist-mounted grappling hooks and boot spikes, allowing them to easily scale the towering monoliths of bark and wood. Some specialized elements of the Guard were equipped with massive flamethrower packs, and as the soldiers continued to disembark, they began to spray concentrated lines of burning fire and pitch into the undergrowth, setting the underbrush ablaze. The armor the soldiers wore protected them from the burning inferno they had crafted, but even so they made sure to stay clear of the rapidly expanding flames. From larger drop pods exploded forth Graug armored with heavy plats strapped to their muscular flames, and they wielded crude, yet deadly efficient, weapons of butchery. They would serve as the soldier's vanguard, their hides tough enough to withstand enough punishment until they had closed the distance with they prey, and tore into them with weapons crafted from black durasteel.

Finally, the last drop pod crashed onto the planet, and from it's bowels came forth the foul Lord of these butchers and monstrosities. He wore a heavy cloak that draped over the thick plates of phrik armor that covered his muscular frame. His helmet, modeled in the form of a leering, horned skull, glanced out at the destruction as his minions unleashed their cruelty and brutality upon the inhabitants of another world, and with a mighty breath he declared.

"Such decadence.... Heh, It will all burn!"

He leaned in to Kira from behind her, whispering in her ear through his helmet.

“Not the fear I was referring to, dearest.” His words were almost inaudible. “Look at them. Look into their eyes. Each one of them, all of them, they're afraid. Not of me, not of you, but of what is to come.”

There was no philosophy about his words. Soliael didn't care if he had a few bowcasters pointed at him, he didn't care if he had an entire tank pointed at him. What mattered to him is that he would be fighting with these people. The Wookiees he knew he could count on, they were strong, steadfast. The meekest of their race would wrestle a Titan, but the soldiers?

He saw the fear in their eyes, the terror at facing the Sith.

“They're afraid.” Fear could break a man.

Soliael knew that better than most. He had seen more than his fare share broken while in The Pit, and he had broken many men through its use. Soliael knew it, and he needed Kira to know it.

Gherron had been in quite a few fights, maybe even some skirmishes. He'd helped take down the Sith back at Korriban. But this? What he saw right now? This was full-scale war. As soon as he hit the would-be battlefield, his normal joking demeanor changed into the battle-hardened warrior he'd turn into over the years as a Jedi. He gripped his lightsaber in his hand, finger staying on the ignition button. Looking to his padawan, he had an idea what he might have been thinking. Gherron himself was only a padawan when he first faced the Sith in battle. And this time, it was worse. They were in thousands. No, tens of thousands. This would be a long battle indeed. "Rael, you ready for this?" He observed his friend's face, or his eyes rather, through the bone mask. He'd learned so much since Gherron had taken him as his learner. This would be the battle that decided if he'd learned enough.

I was helping some of the non-combat Wookies evacuate to a safer area before the battle began. Talk about blood on the sand, this was going to get really messy. I walked towards the command center to see if I could help but I was stopped by the sight of some odd looking characters. The Wookies were debating to shoot them or not. I walked toward the door to see a Jedi that i've seen before but never knew the name of. She then said her name was [member="Kira Liadain"] and I recognized the name. I pushed the Bowcasters down and said "Wait let them in there friendly". They stared for a minute but finally opened the blast door.
