Moridin watched the shift in the enemy fleet and his smirk grew even larger as waves of fighters and bombers came at them. At least Republic Military tactics remained largely the same. Knowing this, and knowing everything else that was going on The Dreadlord signaled to his ensigns. They all nodded to him in response and then Moridin starkly turned about on his heel, obviously headed towards the bridges exit.

The Dreadlord still remained connected to those within his fleet, he didn't sever his connection with them just because he was leaving. Slowly as the turbo-lift brought him down to the hangar deck Moridin began to whistle. He closed his eyes and watched the battlefield play out around him.

He saw the coming fighters and bombers. He saw his cruisers move forward, and he saw the massive wave of explosions as the smaller capital ships exploded in the midst of the Republic fighters. The Dreadlord smirked, and then spoke out loud to himself. “and now its a slug fest.”

With the Republic fighters mostly neutralized it would become a battle between capital ships, a battle that could be won by the Naval Stations defenses, everything now hinged on who won the station.

Aboard Sith Fast Attack Troop Transport, Devil's Own.

Clad in dark purple combat armor with green highlights, Daxton walked the line to do one last inspection and debriefing. All the mercenaries he had acquired were present, most of them wearing mismatched armor and carrying an assortment of weapons, all eager for a fight and chance at some loot. The ideal shock troops in his eyes.

"Today's target is an old shipyard. Intelligence the Sith gave us posits that their may be Republic or Mandolorian forces in opposition. Alpha company you're going with me, our target is to secure main power generators. Bravo and Charlie, your task is to hack into the defensive grid and find out if this thing has defenses and turn them against our enemies. The rest of you are to secure the hangar and ensure our beach head. We are going to be supported by the Sith Combat Droids. All of you have been drilled for space combat and possible explosive decompression tactics. Do not take unnecessary risks people. Remember corpses don't get paid."

The sound of war whoops echoed within the transport as Daxton strapped in and prepared for the fast launch sequence. Once he was fully strapped in, he engaged his helmet's seal, ensuring the lock was airtight and his shielded electronics engaged, the luminous hud giving him complete tactical awareness of his environment.

"...Sir! We've lost contact with all our wing commanders! I repeat, we've lost contact with all of our wing commanders!"
"What! ...Coms Specialist!?"
... "Nothing sir? ...All I'm getting is static?"
"Darn it! What just happened!"
... "Admiral for you sir! He's live on the channel now!"
"Admiral? What just happened?"
... "Looks like the Sith used a kamikaze maneuver to stop our bombers. I've lost contact with all our fighter boys."
"Same here sir. I can't contact anybody in that mess."
... "Well. It looks likes its a slug fest now."
"Yes sir. ...I've retasked my Naval Assault troopers to the station sir. We hope to use it to turn the tide in our favor."
... "Thats good Captain. But I can't retask all our Navy Boys until I know the Sith Fleet has no more tricks up it's sleeve."
"Understood sir. Pherson out."

It was all Flint could now but look out at his command window and gaze forward in shock. The Sith were even more terrible than he had ever imagined.

...

"Force help us. ...It's up to the Jedi now."

Kaine lowered his weapon at the sight of the Sith. "About time you made it. I could've used you awhile back, apparently we have a lost Mandalorian roaming the station. Which means there could be more of them, so stay alert." Kaine turned around back into the room, and checked on all of his datapads, before swearing and smashing his fist on a nearby table. "I can't do anything without ample power, so I need you to go find the main generator and turn the power on to this section of the station, if you're able."

Moridin stepped onto a transport, he was the sole occupant of this particular ships. There were others of course filled to the brim with Soldiers, droids, and even some tanks. This was not one of them however. It was not because Moridin was selfish, no it was more because he intended on doing something rather insane.

The Dreadlord stepped inside of the transports cockpit and then started up the ship. He flipped the switch and the engines rocketed to life. Smoothly Moridin flew out of the larger Dragon Class ship, and soared directly towards the Naval Station. He weaved and dodged his way through massive amounts of turbo-laser fire. An easy thing to do now that there were no fighters present.

In a matter of seconds he was near the station, He smiled and then set the ship on auto pilot, marking its heading directly towards where the bases control center would be. He then stood up from the cockpit, and walked to the back of the ship strapping himself in and bracing for impact.

Even though he was used to the sudden g forces that hit when one was in a fast assault craft, Daxton still blanked out for a second or two, regaining consciousness as the ship decelerated and landed. Ripping off the harness that kept him in place, Daxton switched the safety off his Chimera and lead the charge to secure the landing bay. "I want interlocking fields of fire. Turn any non-sith craft attempting to land into space debris, is that understood?"

As the defenses began to get in place, Daxton had his team unpack the Nexu Recon Bikes for his team. Hopping aboard his unit, he switched it on to throaty hum before revving it up to full power. Blasting off in whirlwind of speed, Daxton and his team sped off to their target, confident in the fact that they would get their first.

Dominator was already walking in the station with a fellow padawan. They came with one of the earliest Republic fleets, when other factions weren't seen anywhere. These two padawans wanted to go as far as possible to not fight with others. Now they were in some kind of bedroom. They looked around, but all they found was junk. "I don't think we can find something!" Said Dominator and put new junk into his bag. They wanted to take everything they find with them, just to be sure. "I agree with you!" Dominator's fellow padawan agreed. Maybe bedrooms weren't the best place to start, but it was the safest.

Dominator was a little bit confused. Before traveling to the station, V-34S said, that the droid army won't come. Dominator didn't get it. The droid army was one of the largest armies in the galaxy and they just said, that they won't come. Dominator's fellow padawan, named Kaleeya, was a new one too. She had brown hair and brown eyes. She was always very beautiful.

Daxton grinned beneath his reflective helm, as he poured more speed. The attack was well on its way and the Sith were amassing to take the station. What glory and power they could achieve with the arsenal this station represented. With a mere fraction of the ships docked here they could interdict worlds until they collapsed or perhaps bombard the Jedi like rats covering in their holes. That thought was rather pleasant, hopefully he could witness it for himself soon.

Pausing at an intersection, he ordered his team ahead to secure the objective. He sensed something......different. A disturbance in the Force? Perhaps some enemy lurking nearby. No point in letting the mercenaries spoil his fun.

When he was alone, he engaged the vehicles antitheft locks, and drew his lightsaber staff, the twin orange blades hissed malevolently as if sensing his thought. Come out, come out and play he thought as he sought what he sensed earlier.

A well-gunned fleet of Mandalorian ships had appeared out of hyperspace completing a triangle that was formed by three fleets - The Sith, The Republic and the Mandalorian. The continet sized space station took a whole lot of space on the tactical screen of Mandalore the Rebuilder. He also noticed on the tactical screen that the Sith and Republic have already engaged in combat. An advantage for the Mandalorian forces. Mandalore also saw the skeletons of ancient warships in the maws of the station along with transports being sent at what seemed to be it's docking bay. He stood on the bridge of the flagship contemplating. To gain those skeletons of ships would be good but resources would be needed for their complete construction. Mandalore stood silently as the whole bridge awaited his orders.

"Bring our ships to a point where the station will cover us from the Republic and Sith fleet's fire. Focus all fire on station, especially the docking bays. Bring out the bombers and fighters too." Mandalore said with determination. "They will be using the station as us for cover as they reach their targets for bombing. Destroy this station." He spoke calmly but with determination and belief in his Mandalorians motivating them. The bridge was obviously surprised by the course of action they were to take as they believed they would attempt to take as much ships as they could.

The ships turned starboard for a while until they were able to be within the station's cover and then thrusted forward with their whole arsenal opening fire as soon as they were in range. The station was defenseless as it was dead for hundreds of years now. A few squadron of bombers flew in perfect formation above the fire that was being deployed on the station. With every hit of the Mandalorian's arsenal fire would be ignited and destruction would be laid on the station. Amongst one of this bombers was the highly talented ace pilot former smuggler Zef Halo...

"This is going to be like the old days..." Zef muttered in his cockpit as his bomber was flying along the other bombers towards their designated targets. "Dodging lasers and flying recklessly. But this time I could bomb things too." Before taking off Zef had checked his bomber for all sorts of malfunctions to happen and had repaired any minor problems with it like he always did. He was happy to fly once again, it had been some time since he last piloted a ship and Zef loved ships.

The Mandalorians had the element of surprise at least for some time until everyone saw their scanners and alerted their higher ups. The bombers would be able to utilize this surprise due to their speed and quick arrival at the scene. The Mandalorian bombers took a route above the station and as furthest as they could be from the massive dogfight happening. Of course they were not left simply drifting next to a battle as a few fighters had intercepted them. Zef had one on his tail for a while but doing a perfect swoop he brought his tail in the fire of one of the Mandalorian fighters.

"Begin bombing run." The commander of bomber squadrons ordered and havoc was to be wrecked as the bombers let their destructive proton torpedoes on the station's and on a few docking bays. The Mandalorians hoped they would severe the connection to the station from the docking bays by destroying corridors and opening vacuum.

"Hello, son." Zef calmly fired his proton torpedoes at where his ship's target had to be and laid destruction upon it. As soon as the bombing run would end the bombers would leave the scene to take additional orders if another bombing run would commence or were they retreating. The bomber squadrons were being covered by the starfighters around them.

The explosion that rocked the ground beneath him was not expected, throwing Daxton off his feet. By the moon of Dxun don't those gunners know what they are aiming at? Getting up on his feet, he engaged the magnet locks on the soles of his armor and continued down the corridor as the station continued to shake all around him.

Dominator and his fellow padawan heard the bombing of fireing, so they became scared. "Where are other Jedi?" Dominator asked. Kaleeya shrugged. She didn't know anything about that. "What should we do?" Kaleeya asked and together they left the bedroom. They were in a big hallway and they didn't know, where to go. The bombing was even closer now, so they ran to the opposite direction. When they ran for some minutes aroun the station, they found a room, where they tought it would be safe. They were wrong. They saw a Sith in the room. And that wasn't enough. They heard, that someone fought very close.

Warric felt slightly uncomfortable, he wasn't used to battle armor, as light and maneuverable the sith equipment turned to be. He had no idea just how much he'd like it once he found himself in the explosion, having already left his boss to his own business, it was quick enough that he realized something was going on with him, the towering zabrak who knew a little much about a lot of things. But it wasn't like Warric would do anything about it, he was there for the pay, and that's all he cared about, for the moment.

“Frakk!” he exclaimed, falling off his bike, he, figuring the Republic had preferred to not leave the station for anyone, ordered the same men to continue forwards without losing pace as he picked up his bike and went on. Not too much after they reunited, on their way to the command post, to see what they could salvage, or if he even could turn on the defence system on the station.

Silas noticed the massive mandalorian fleet out the window next to a comms station… wait a comms station! Now he could contact the fleet! " zef are you there." He said into the comlink before noticing it was clearly offline. He quickly ran to the main generator room.

The hunt was upon them, he could sense it in the refiltered air of his helm. The cowards choose to attack the station then they will destroy the very prize they were seeking. Foolish, but predicatable. Typical of the Republic Military Mindset. Unleashing a gutter scream, Daxton ignited both orange blades of his battlestaff. The blood was beginning to rise, before this night is over, he would spill blood.

"Captain an unknown fleet has jumped in system. They are deploying fighters against the station."
"Let me see. Specialist, do we have a visual?"
... "Negative they are behind the station."

*boom*

"Well we still have people on that station. So we can't withdraw. But if they come for us we will have to micro-jump. ...Damn it. How is the Admiral's boat looking?"
... "Three fires on her surface sir."
"Just like us. Damn."
... "New orders sir?"
"Negative. We are staying. Until the Grandmaster tells us to pull out, we stand our ground! We shall keep our eyes on both fleets. This ship was built to fight! It's time we saw just how far she can go! We'll keep pounding those Sith cruisers until they break."
... "Aye aye sir."

*boom*

Flint stood up and squinted hard against the station below. It would take the Mandalorins days to break all that steel apart. And this battle had turned ugly long ago. He could only frown deeper. That old piece of steel had better be worth it.

Dominator and Kaleeya saw, that the Sith became angry. They left the room carefully, but then they remembered. The hallway wasn't safer, so they ran again. Now wthey stopped at a... toilet. They quickly stepped in and closed the door. The lights went on and they saw, that in the toilet, there is a skeleton. Kaleeya almost died from heart attack, but Dominator calmed him down and they kicked the skeleton. "Help me!" Dominator said and they both started to put the bones in their bags. "Why do we need them?" Kaleeya asked while putting a skull into his bag. Dominator shrugged.

Naval Station - Docking Bay 15

Ben did not like the feeling he was getting from the station as his ship approached it. He could feel the Sith coming out of hyperspace and he knew a battle would start raging very soon. He had suggested to Tef that Ben should go aboard the ship to try and find anything of use. The one question that was raging in Ben's mind was how did the station become nothing but a desolute ghost town. It was massive and Ben could not see how something so undisturbed and untouched would just vanish off the radar and float through space nothing but a shell of its former glory.

On top of that he sensed very dark forces at work on the inside. So strong, in fact, that his gut churned as his ship was docking. This was not going to be something they were just going to be able to get up and start working, no, other forces were at play here. He could already feel the evils tapping at his thoughts and trying to seduce him. Luckily he had extremely powerful barriors in place inside of his head that could repel such attacks, but would he be able to last long?

"Change of plans, you guys are going back to the Lions Maw, it is too dangerous here." The Republic soldiers seemed a bit offset by this because they had orders to accompany Ben. He overruled those orders though because their minds would be warped by the evils inside and they would do more harm than they would good. "Be safe on the journey out and may the force be with you."

Fifteen minutes later Ben was roaming the halls of the huge station. He honestly had no idea where to start so he just let the force guide him. The airspace battle was in full force outside of the station, but Ben paid it no mind, Tef was taking care of all that. Ben was not a fan of space, he hated flying, and he especially hated flying while having people trying to shoot him out of the air. It was why he volunteered to come onto the ship in the first place.

He could sense others on the ship, but he wanted to avoid them, he did not need distractions. He wanted to get to the heart of the station, find out what was causing all of this dark energy, and decide whether it was worth keeping or not. Honestly, Ben would have preferred to let the station keep roaming forever, but he knew this could not be. Someone wanted to take control of it and use it for their own personal gain, and from what Ben could tell, that would not be a good thing.

The station started to rumble and Ben stopped in his tracks. Someone was attacking the ship? He laughed to himself, he wanted to try and avoid being shot at and yet, they found a way to get to him. There are very dark energies at work here. Ben spoke to Tef through the force.

Silas Ward

Mandolorian assassin
Silas had resupplied his gadgets with power by using the main generator. He had a plan. First he would plant a detpack on the generator, second he would try to survive until either the republic or the empire takes over Validusia, and last but not least he would set the detpack off and deliver a devastating blow to the winner of this battle.

Mandalore admired the fiercesness of his pilots and how fatal they were in wrecking havoc. Destruction laid upon the struck places of the defenceless station. Movement and navigating within were near to impossible in some sections due to being fired and bombed upon. Mandalore the Rebuilder felt proud at his warrior's effectiveness and how the battle was proceeding. The station was becoming useless and more useless everytime it was struck by the Mandalorian fleet. The station was a huge structure of durasteel, it would not turn to dust or to space debris but it would be so much devastated that it would no longer be useful to anyone except the scavengers of scrap metal. The ships spread wider from each other covering more space so their firepower was more spread on the surface of the massive structure.

"We have found the maws where skeletons of old designed capital ships are, Mand'alor" A Mandalorian reported to his sole ruler.

"Good, order the bomb squadrons to focus fire on the maws and the skeletons." Mandalore said calmly. "No one would be needing them." He let out a slight smirk underneath his helmet. Mandalore was not going to leave a free massive shipyard to anyone. If they couldn't get the shipyard for themselves. No one else would be leaving this party with anything but empty hands. "Render the maws and the ships within to nothing more than scrap metal! Send a transmission on a public non-coded channel to both the Republic and the Sith." He nodded at the Mandalorian who was busy at the communication station.

"Three two one." The mandalorian at the comm station counted down and then Mandalore spoke:

"This is Mand'alor speaking. Sole ruler of the Mandalorians." He introduced himself with his intimidating voice while his dreadsome figure would appear on everyone having holo receivers. "Be warned. The Mandalorians are back. I speak to everyone who values his life: We will eventually come to every and each one of you, and it's up to you to join our cause or perish." The communication was then abruptly cut and Mandalore stood gazing at the tactical screen as another few squadrons were spreading on different vectors to attack different maws.

Zef was once again going back to the fray piloting his bomber. This time their orders were to target the massive maws where various hundred year old ships were situated, at least their skeletons. They were to destroy the skeletons and the maws. While other bomber squadrons covered by fighters were continuing bombing runs on where hangars were situated or different parts of the massive station, Zef was preparing to drop his proton torpedoes on a maw of capital ships. He calmly fired the proton torpedoes at his designated target and was once again leaving the place. During the bombing run a few starfighters had been destroyed by enemy interceptors. Zef had to take evasive measures a few times to save his skin. He thanked his piloting skills for saving him numerous times ever since he started piloting ships. The Mandalorian bombardment was going according to plan and the defenceless structure was taking heavy damage by the fleet and the squadrons of bombers.
