Sala'dine

Admiral of the Ghost Fleet
The Jedi's shadow appeared out of hyperspace, it was running observation and patrol of the area. The Stenness system was well remote and away from everything. Littered with asteroids in space, mining stations, defensive stations and other objectives. The second fleet was partially participating with her using a patrol destroyer and several carrack mk II corvettes. A decent thing but the massive shadow and omni's would need to be ready. While the admiral had scouted and prepared a few surprises here in the asteroid field well she wasn't going to take any chances and tales of an impossibly large fleet going from world to world well had her wary but she couldn't confirm it or deny it was around. So instead she had worked with the people of the planet to get them to well offer a few things. Mostly they wouldn't mind if the fleets accidentally came across some of the poachers in the systems asteroid field and kept them from over hunting the things in the field.

She looked out the viewport as it happened.. the massive pale shape leaping between the asteroids. Exogorths were able to eat smaller ships and would attack if something got close so that was one surprise. They had even managed to well reactivate several of the stations around the field meant o contain another surprise within. So teams could be deployed to take them over and get a firing solution for surprises if they wanted to. She had some of the kappa and LAAT'S transports ready to move in and start taking the field when the moment came. She wanted to have Alyisa and Negisa here but they were unable to come being preoccupied with fleet business. [member="Kiso"] though would be welcomed and she would have the second battlegroup of the second fleet if she arrived. For the moment though to record and analyze the situation the Will of the Force was central in the field with its heavy shields activated and it was neutral space for the game... meant to see the tactics and compare the different styles.

"Admiral we have news." Cassandra stood there next to her, second in command of the Shadow and when Sala'dine would be leaving to partake the acting commander. "Report." The words came out as she turned around. "We have squads loaded into the ships, transports and boarding teams. Tactical tracking of anomalies how the clusters are seeded throughout the asteroid field and visual scans show them to be very similar with only a few difference in deep scans to show underneath the dust and rock they have collected." She nodded and started walking sliding her saber on her hip, the uniform gleaming before she got to her shuttle. "And we have also been able to confirm that we can't confirm the rumors of the vagaari in the area. For being so massive they are remarkably able to move tens of thousands of ships in coordination." She gave a nod boarding the shuttle and spoke. "Then continue scanning and either we find them or we don't and can tell the people that."

There were nods as she was heading in the shuttle towards the patrol destroyer and other ships around it. A rag tag grouping but it served a purposes from the more weapon heavy to the faster and sleeker seeker class that could get a small team around and deploy some bombs. Getting a team of rangers onto the field quickly would also be good for having firing solutions when the shuttle arrived on the destroyer and they went to stealth mode. The rac following suit and communications were settled within. "Seeker One I want you to move towards the perimeter of the field and hold position within one of the craters. Long range scans to the carrack that will be slashing and running against the larger ships as we move into position." She got confirmations and it wasn't a first move just positioning her pieces on the board as she prepared her thoughts for what would be able to happen. She moved towards the seat in the center of the bridge letting her look over everything. "Panaramic view and go to silent running. I want the Rac ready to move in with Ranger guardian teams." Nods of confirmation could be seen as the games were getting ready to begin.

Seven inhabited planets, an asteroid field, this place should be an active bustle of commerce, something Domino was normally quite interested in even if it was considered somewhat remote. However its position along the Inner-Rim made it a bit far from her preferred places of business far out from the shining wealth of the core worlds. Speaking of the light, she'd brought with her a half-dozen Isumaru fuel ships since tibanna always sold, and a few of them carried tanks of nutrient paste, not the most agreeable meal, but if there were raids as indicated there would be displaced and refugees. Nutrient paste would go a long way to holding off starvation or at least malnutrition in a camp until proper relief was established. Escorting was her standard security "fleet" of cruisers that Outer Rim Resources used to protect its more stationary holdings or vulnerable convoys along with the gunships that made up the area patrol in the immediate vicinity.

As for Domino, she was taking up the auxiliary bridge of the Immobilizer having turned it into an impromptu command center for herself where she could monitor the going ons of her ships and what her allied were up to. Sala'dine was thankfully already in system and Domino had ordered the customary handshake ind IFF signals be sent out. Most of her ships couldn't be detected, stealth ships that they were, but the Twi'lek had no doubt they were present. Her own were taking up an inverted delta around the ring of freighters with the 418 taking up rearguard behind and above the six-o'clock position. They would escort the Isumarus to the nearest planet or station where the adjutant assigned to them would sort out the relief effort and sale of fuel.

Standing before the transparisteel window of the Judiciary's bridge, Veiere's gaze swept across the hull of the vast destroyer before him as the stars stream-lined passed; Still amidst hyperspace flight for the Stenness System, Veiere had received instructions to join with several other patrolling vessels in the sector out of precautionary measures. It was his first assignment since requesting to take up an official position within the Silver Navy, however it wasn't his first command aboard a starship of this size. In the past, Veiere had spent time aboard the Chimaera Imperial Destroyer, as well as a number of Commenori vessels, none of which matched the firepower of the Judiciary however.

"Arriving in the Stenness System in five..." Petty Officer Michael Bernard announced from the helm, counting down as he eyed the readout at his station. The bridge was alive with excitement as the crew all maintained their stations, retaining a professional composure though the force echoed their enthusiasm. Veiere had been allowed to look over their dossiers and select his Officers to work under his watch, they'd all accepted the position gladly as the newly constructed Heavy Cruiser meant new opportunities both in promotion as well as exploration and future assignments.

"Scan for, and signal the Fleet of our arrival, Nurou’n" Vikras Ansion spoke up to the Chief Petty Officer at the Comm's Station; Out of all of the faces aboard the Bridge, Vikras was the only familiar one. He and Veiere went back years and had served alongside each other in Force only knows, how many missions. "Aye, Sir" Saikeri Nurou’n acknowledged just moments before the Judiciary broke out of it's FTL Channel and back into normal space. From the view-port aboard the Bridge, the sector looked relatively peaceful save for the scattered asteroid fields not so far off from their position.

"How's it looking out there?" Veiere turned away from the view to look back towards Jacinder Rorik, his mind on the rumored trouble-makers that he had been informed were somewhere about the region, apparently with quite the size-able armada. "Picking up a number of ours, on sensor Captain. Nothing out of the ordinary, Sir" Rorik replied quickly, already preparing to open a channel to the lead vessel as Veiere then instructed her to hail them.

"This is Captain Arenais of the HA Judiciary, to the Silver Fleet" he spoke up, the bridge audio receptors relaying a clear transmission across to the Saotome Patrol Destroyer, "We've been instructed to join you and offer assistance should you need it". Truth be told, this was more of a test flight in order to stretch the Judiciary's wings and see just how well she'd been put together. So far so good, and if things kept going as smoothly as the sector looked from where Veiere was standing, it might just be a quiet cruise. Naturally, things rarely went according to plan however, and Veiere wasn't about to go making assumptions and let his guard down.

"What's our Status, Nurou’n?" Vikras asked in the background to their Engineering Officer, Saikeri Nurou’n. "Golden, Sir" she replied with a hint of a smirk, "She's showing up green on all charts. I'll keep you posted if anything changes, Commander", Vikras replying with a simple nod before turning to offer Veiere a thin smile in approval.

Their Security Chief, William Pierson, kept quiet for the time being as there was nothing to report; He was a man with a good heart, but a rough background and Veiere appreciated the few discussions they'd shared before disembarking for the mission. All in all, his chief officers were doing a great job thus far, and it encouraged Veiere in feeling as though he'd made the correct choice as far as his direction and service to the Order of the Silver Jedi was concerned.

Pelagic-class Star Cruiser Evening Tide, entering the Stenness System

"Do you ever tire of it all? When was the last time you were on the ground for more than week?"

Gir eyed Ariela for a half-second before turning his gaze back to the holo-projector, "To answer your questions in order: Yes, and approximately 14 months ago."

He ignored her stare, and instead focused on the holo of the Stenness System. He pretended to be studying the world's orbits, but he knew that there was a good chance that the HRD eying him down would be able to uncover the truth of the matter eventually. They made her too smart...or is it not smart enough? Empathetic enough? A baritone voice called down from the comm's station.

"Admiral, the rest of the force has successfully arrived in system."

Gir briefly hesitated, "Excellent, we'll adopt the same formation as previously discussed. Put all pilots and combat crewmen to standby alert."

"Yes sir."

Blue-tinged holos of his ships began to coalesce on the holo-map in front of him. The largest vessel of his little group, the Evening Tide, occupied the center of a diamond-shaped formation. Just to the fore of his flagship and somewhat lower than it was the armored cruiser Northbound Star. In the ideal world, it's position would allow it to maneuver to intercept any attack on the artillery cruiser. On the Tide's starboard side was the escort frigate Whirlpool. While not a particularly powerful craft in its own right, its wing of bombers gave the task force a flexible long-range punch that was superior even to the Tide's extensive warhead batteries in many cases. Lastly, a pair of light corvettes flew just to the Tide's portside while another pair flew behind and above the Tide.

"If you won't say anything, I'll have Salmakk talk to you when we're done here."

"Fine, fine," said the blonde man, "we'll talk once the maneuvers here are done. I don't have anything to hide from you, you know. It's just that now is really not the best time..."

"We have communications." The one bridge officer was speaking on the Patrol destroyer as she clasped her hands behind her back. A look on her face though when the massive creatures of the asteroid field flew around in the distance. "And it is looking like the others have been showing up." Where she was looking with the viewscreen had the other ships appearing and she spoke going to open coms for all of them. "Welcome to the Stenness system ladies and gentlemen. I have gathered you all here today for a special purpose." She said it while having them send the information out for the ships and the field.

"IN front of you is a practice area, in exchange for the second fleet patrolling and handling poachers we have been allowed to test some of our new equipment in the asteroid field. It is seeder with different creatures, hazards and offers different ways to keep pilots and cadets on their toes. Which is why all of you are here, a means for us to practice with our ships and..." She trailed off offering a smirk. "There is something we have been hunting out here, with sensors possibly showing fighting they might appear to try and pick us up and then the rest of our fleets can move in and trap them. So if anyone here doesn't wish to be bait to lure in a danger or participate. please speak up now."

Once Sala'dine announced that they needed someone to play bait Domino had almost instinctively volunteered one of her ships before stopping herself. Hers were the older ships and tended to have the older tech on them, and while she liked turning the expectations of her attackers as bait, this would be a valuable exercise for someone with less experienced crew. Besides, she gazed at the six freighters she was escorting on the tactical holo, she had priorities at the moment. "Bring the cruisers around and join with the other fleets," she called up to the bridges of her three ships. "CAP gunships continue escort of the freighters while watching the asteroid fields and moons. We'll keep ourselves interposed between you as best we can. Alert status up to full, Nimixi begin launching fighters and gunships, switch my fighter and escorts to stand-by."

Outside the two heavy cruisers began launching a mix of more Revelation gunships, Reaper fighters, and a squad of four Ghost bombers from each. This time when Domino keyed her comm it was to reply to Sala'dine and the others. "Thank you for the warm welcome. The Resource Fleet is moving to form up and we're ready for the fun to begin on your signal."

Communications Officer Rorik had relayed the transmission to the Bridge-wide intercom system in order for Veiere to listen and reply if he deemed necessary. The welcome and quick briefing of the situation was appreciated by all, and the Officers seemed to appear encouraged by the company of their own once more. Looking to his Officers briefly, Veiere nodded to them all, the simple yet confident gesture imploring for them all to get to work.

"Acknowledged, Saotome" Veiere confirmed to the speaker from the Patrol Destroyer. To his knowledge, he and [member="Sala'dine"] hadn't yet met in person, though hierarchy was something he could certainly appreciate "ETA 2 minutes to rendezvous".

Veiere soon looked to Ensign Bernard who was seated at the The Judiciary's Helm, "Low impulse, Ensign. Let us catch up with the rest of our friends out there. Do try to watch those asteroids, it wouldn't do to damage the ship on her very first outing" the Captain mused, a soft chuckle escaping Veiere's lips and setting the tone for the rest of the crew. Over time they'd all grow a little more comfortable with him, he hoped, and to learn to let their guard down when not on duty.

"Lieutenant Pearson" Veiere turned to look to his Head of Security, also a weapons specialist on the Judiciary's offensive capabilities; "Help Bernard to keep her clean, will you. Low frequency bursts on any debris in close proximity" enough to shatter the asteroids, but not enough to caution the rest of the fleet.

It had been some times since she took command of a fleet, back in the Ancient eye her main focus was on ground forces, but the need for admirals and experienced commanders in space lead her to being pushed into such a role. Being a cyborg also helped in that regard, being able to process information at an inhuman rate and have a tactical battle map in her mind open and taking in real time information. Either way it was nice to once again command a ship, even if it was just a simple Adjudicator-class, with a back up Admonitor-class, two among a few ships that came with her over to the SJO when the Ancient Eye collapsed. Though not the flag ship she usually commanded the star destroyer like vessels were still a force to be reckoned with in open battle, perhaps a little over kill for this mission today but it was better to be safe then sorry.

Coming out of hyperspace she was greeted to an already assembled fleet of silver Jedi members, Admirals, and Jedi commanders a like, seemed the party had started before she arrived, her com officer patching through a message from [member="Sala'dine"]. "So not only are we patrolling but also target practice, handing some good gunnery routines are always nice", it had been a while since her ship had seen proper front line service, the ME blockade of Umbra was the last time they had been in a fight. "You head the admiral people, let us test our skills out on those targets up ahead, maybe throw a little strafing into the mix to simulate a moving target, wonder if there is a prize for the best ship crew".

"Bait," repeated Ariela, as if were some profound answer to life.

Gir considered the thought. Baiting was an old if yet effective tactic, especially when information an opponent or their location was limited. But his knowledge of the tactic itself couldn't be the sole determining factor for his comfort level with acting as the bait. The ships of the impromptu task force which he had thrown together was not particularly well-versed in working together, nor was the lead vessel particularly suited for the close-range combat that fighting within an asteroid field entailed. Yet at the same time, he wondered just how difficult this opponent would be, especially as Admiral Sala'dine wasn't providing much information on their specifics. If she wants to keep it a surprise, they probably aren't too great or an overwhelming threat. Because if they were, it would be most prudent to warn us about their abilities, otherwise our people are likely to die or the ships we've committed will experience severe damage. Politics...As the admiral considered that thought, the other vessels of the other vessels began to move into action. I suppose we should join them. The admiral eyed the holo layout the immediate area before rapidly typing in commands to the other vessels of his task force.

Ariela watched the projector as the task force changed formation shape again as they steamed towards the asteroid belt, "Setting up a vanguard?"

"And an identical rearguard," added Gir.

A pair of light corvettes accompanied by a squadron of interceptors off of the Northbound Star jetted up to take the lead position formerly occupied by the Northbound Star. Cerulean Three and Four continued to occupy their position in the rear while the Vortex Interceptors of Triskellion Squadron soared over from the Evening Tide to join them. Meanwhile, the Northbound Star slid back to the portside of the Evening Tide, forming a three ship line abreast with the Evening Tide and Whirlpool. Such a formation with a balanced vanguard and rearguard would allow him to rapidly turn his formation around to deal with previously unseen threats as needed, especially as the corvettes and interceptors could more rapidly react to threats first than the larger vessels of the task force's main body. Gir turned his attention to the Tide's chief gunnery officer, a well-built Corellian man with a thick bushy mustache.

"Flynn," started Gir, "what would you like to train your gunnery crews on?"

"They could really use practice with the Starlances out of the main bays," said Flynn," But I think that we'll have the same problem that we usually do: a lack of cost-effective targets. Probably will work on synchronized fire with the mass driver cannon batteries."

"Nothing wrong with practicing the bread and butter of your typical work. Scattershot and concussion missiles I assume?"

The other man nodded.

"Who knows. Maybe there will be something more interesting in there that will require heavier ordinance..."

SHe was looking at the ones and spoke. "Very well we shall begin." Kiso was here that was good she pinged the Will of the FOrce, the computer that had been designed by the lead engineer for them was a Battle Analysis Computer on steroids compared to some and it had a thrawn simulator or the closest thing the engineering teams had been able to copy for a personality to the computer. It could record and analyze the tactics of them. Sala'dine though was checking out some of them when she spoke. "Welcome Kiso, prepare your forces. I want the second fleet to show why it shines is that understood." She kept her hands clasped behind her back though looking at the bridge crew.

"Move us into stealth mode, use only laser coms for communication from here on out understood." She got acknowledgements from the crew and Kiso was second fleet with her ships which served in the expansionary and expeditionary fleet. Sadly the largest ship she had didn't allow for fighters but transports were important. She had the stealth LAATs that were set up and she spoke into the internal comlink. "Shadow Wing you are being deployed, I want you to head in and tag target location. Focus on Admiral Quee's corvettes first." She looked at the display they had and the seekers were scanning and sending information to them.

She was observing and the direct laser comm to the Carrack was live as the captain came up onto the screen with them disappearing from visual view with the cloaking device. "MOve into position and cover the Rac's ranger teams. I want them on the platforms and setting up a cross fire when the ships wander closer to you." She got blinks of acknowledgement for it as the ship was heading off and their scanners could find the Rac itself as they were going off. The tranport gunships were away before long and making the moves to get in when she looked for Veiere's ship. He was one fo the newest here and she was wanting tos ee what he could manage.

"Lets have a small surprise for our newest commander. "Seeker, move into position. Set low grade bomblets and make an attack run against the Judicary. Full acceleration and tag for sunseekers." That might have been her main secret weapon, the sun seekers were something they had developed for one purpose giving heavy damage and with ion tags to make small openings in shields or disable vital systems it would serve the proper purpose. The trick was just for practice without damaging and harming it all. SHe was pulling up all tactical information there was and the computer could get for those ships.

THe laser com to protect the destroyer as it moved and could keep line of sight with Kiso for a moment. "Kiso, send fighters to screen and lure them around the asteroids. Admiral Quee's ships are fast so lets work to eliminate those advantages by putting the rocks in front of them." She was thinking of it and Kiso had her ships with access to second fleets fighters. Some of the better ones in her opinion but she wanted to try and make this something as the seeker moved. The booster going off and the engines could be seen glowing brightly as it shot forward through the field. It was heading towards the larger ship with all engines accelerating it.

Steady the thoughts came to her when it didn't slow down, Veil Squadron was aboard the smaller ship for a purpose. They had force sensitive pilots and gunners. Alyisa her wing commander and founder of Veil Squadron. She wasn't there with her mauler to fight but her candidates were meant to be able to meld and become their own hive mind and unit in combat. Firing off the ion tags and a bomblet towards the secondary power systems to try and disable them with a slash and run strike. THe admiral remained there watching as the destroyer moved into the shadow of one of the wasps and started to use it as cover when it caught between its pincers a leaping exogorth.

Watching impassively as Sala'dine's forces faded from their already spotty sensor contacts faded from the charts completely, Domino knew the match between the fleets was about to begin. Her forces were still some distance from the field and vessels of the Jedi admirals so she took her time scanning the opening moves. Sala'dine looked to be seizing the initiative with an early attack against the Judiciary which meant that Captain Arenais was probably going to be at a disadvantage having only his single ship with which to defend. Her eyes turned to the 4th fleet and the newcomers. 4th seemed to be playing it cool like she was and the others had made a move towards the field. They might end up paring off or trying to help the Judiciary. As for her own forces, Domino contented herself with their continuing approach to the general area. Either someone would pick her to be their partner or she'd come in on the side of someone in need of it.

"Captain, a vessel from the feet is moving on an intercept path..." Jacinder Rorik announced from the Com's-Station, "Identifying now..." she added, her eyes never leaving the console terminal; "It's the Saotome Seeker".

The Commander, Vikras Ansion apparently felt the same as Veiere did, turning to look back to the Jedi Master with a questioning glance. "Is this what they meant by training then, is it?" Vikras spoke rhetorically, not actually expecting an answer as it seemed that much was obvious enough.

"Pearson, re-route power from weapons to the Shields. Make certain that any shots fired, will be low frequency enough to avoid damages to friendly vessels in the vicinity" Veiere instructed; If they were to be practicing against their own fleet, Veiere would be damned if he was going to be held responsible for putting a hole in one of the Silver's own.

"Copy that" William Pearson replied shortly, moving to do as instructed and toning the Judiciaries offensive systems right down to minimal force. Any energy based offense such as the turbo-laser batteries would disrupt explosives, yet be rendered incapable of penetrating friendly shield systems in protecting their allied fleet.

"Vikras, open a channel" Veiere looked to the Commander briefly, Vikras Ansion doing so and allowing the Captain the chance to hail their Commanding Officer and person responsible for the over-all exercise, Admiral Sala'dine; "Admiral, this is Veiere Arenais. I'm requesting confirmation of intent. Scanners have detected the Seeker on an intercept, please advise". He needed official confirmation before firing on a friendly vessel, no matter what the conditions of the situation were.

"Detecting multiple energy sources..." Rorik spoke up once more, "Proton Mine's, Sir".

It was go time, [member="Sala'dine"] setting the stage for their battle, kiso getting her two larger capital ship in line with the, bringing the Kuma around side on to Patrol Destroyer, her crew hastily prepring for the little skirmish about to take place. "Fighters are launched for screening, bait and harry tactics employed", "Ooyodo's main MACH cannon is online ready to fire on targets", "all systems and weapons on the Kuma are ago ready and awaiting orders".

The flurry of info and stat checking filtered through her cybernetic computers, a personalized holographic display of the battlefield coming up into view, her and Sala'dine's ships appearing on view along with the known geological aspect of the asteroid belt they were in. "Maintain a steady course along with our allied ships, shields forward but keep some reserve in the back in case we are flanked, and remember this is training, don't go causing to much damage". The deck officers replied with a variety of confirmation responses, Kiso taking a seat as the ships glided through the black void of space towards their targets.

Sala'dine's stealth mode would have made contact nearly impossible but Larone was there, one of her judges from back under Kisep. The chiss remained at the ready to intercept and listened as he scratched his head but didn't question it. "THe Admiral is dark when in an operation." He had been assigned to the tactical side of it as the carrack moved around the field. "But I can answer your question." He didn't activate visual instead remaining there but this wasn't meant to be entirely serious.. practice to sharpen their skills. The one ship that had come alone seemed brand new and as the force would say.... this would give it character. "The scenario has begun, low energy shots for attack captain..." He said the title as a question as he was remaining there. The ship was moving around and he could see information from the seeker as they were reporting progression.

Pelagic-class Star Cruiser Evening Tide, in the Stenness System

Admiral Quee's force slowly advanced towards the asteroid field. The group was somewhat slowed in its advance by the Northbound Star's inherently slow speed, though that did not bother Gir. It only gave his vanguard more leisure in widening their gap between them and his main force. Perhaps even more importantly, it gave him more time to observe the scene unfolding around him. If he had only the Evening Tide's sensors to rely on, he would been hampered by the keyhole nature of its Metis Sensor Array, but by being able to stream in sensor data from his other vessels, the Tide's sensor operator would be able to form a composite picture on the ship's holo-projector. Gir walked around the projector's rim, observing light coalesce to form a detailed surrounding of the Stenness Asteroid Belt. Bright cyan light flickered across the holo, highlighting objects and providing scrawling text of ever-updating information.

"Looks like the Judiciary is their first target," observed the blonde man quietly, "which means that it's only a matter of time before we get some attention as well."

"We're being scanned," reported his sensor operator.

Gir sagely nodded, "By who?"

"I...don't know."

Gir raised an eyebrow. Well, that is unusual. Usually it's not hard to triangulate a signal's origin point. That probably means that they have probe droids or sensor arrays hidden in the belt, or more likely because it's 2nd Fleet, stealth ships. If he had been on his normal flagship, the Obi-Wan Kenobi, he could have simply relied on his flagship's rare CGT, but without that specialized sensor, tracking stealth ships was somewhat harder. Thankfully the Metis does have some use here...He turned his sapphire blue eyes onto a creamy furred bothan manning the sensor station.

"Let's put the Metis to good use. Start searching for unexplained heat signatures, even in trace amounts, and unexplained energy signals. I doubt that they'll be using typical comms, but typical laser beams are still detectable even if we can't intercept or immediately jam them."

Captisan turned her eyes onto him, "And what do you do if you find anyone?"

"That depends on who we find," muttered Gir quietly, before raising his voice to be heard by the rest of the bridge crew, "let's keep our eyes open for anything unusual. New objects, shifting terrain, anything out of the ordinary or not easily explainable..."

"The Admiral is dark when in an operation but I can answer your question.
The scenario has begun, low energy shots for attack captain...".
Rorik appeared a little dumb-struck as she stared at her terminal screen, trying to pinpoint the source of the communication coming through. She caught Veiere's eye, though his concentration remained on the message being relayed to them, and his acknowledgement would be short, "Roger that". He hadn't quite anticipated this sort of exercise, though now that they were there, he figured they ought to give it their best.

"Pearson, target these mines using the standard turbo-laser batteries. See if you can go about knocking a few of them out from our heading. Bernard, steady as she goes; Keep an eye out for asteroids and do what you can to avoid them. Nurou’n, Shields full-forward for the time being. Commander, have those fighters ready to engage on short notice...".

She watched the screen appearing, seeing it all now as the different ships moved into position for now. SHe could see what some of them were doing and listened to the communication but didn't respond. The patrol destroyer was running silent to all and it was easier to pick up communications that were fairly direct and open. Her thought was an amateur move but this was the point. To test and train and lure in.. she had a plan as the perimeter ships were not reporting any contact yet. She was looking at it and moved her hands up to the screen itself when she looked over the field. Domino and Gir were moving slowly forward they didn't look to rush the engagement and scans were being set around.

"Feedback." She spoke seeing some of the bridge crew as the wasp moved off from above them and caught one of the leaping worms in its massive pincer mouth. She had been looking to see what GIr would do... but his slowness she wasn't going to take for fear. He was smart.. smarter in some ways then her as he built his ships with a practical sense compared to second fleet that worked on theory and tried toensure their ships could go into more situations then they might ever face. "Signal one of the LAATs through the carrack. I want Cassandra to go for a walk." She got a look and then a snicker... it had been something she used against Negisa to duel the other admiral when they first met.

"Understood." The communications went out and there was a flicker of acknowledgement to it. The seeker had buzzed and see what Veiere could do with his ship and so far... it didn't disappoint. "They are going after the sunseekers." THere was a look on her face though. "Expected for those beginning. THe sunseekers can be dangerous but they also allow us to draw their fire and gunners away from an attack." She was looking at it and the seeker that had slashed at it with ion tags and energy bombs had passed over it dodging and using its performance boosters to get back itno the asteroids. It was rounding and reporting its sensor data on the ship to give them a better idea.

"Alright, have the seeker move into position off the aft side and slink into the asteroids. I want to let them keep firing to attract some of the wasps towards them." She got the information relayed and the LAAT acknowledged that they were ready as she could see the one trooper in the EVA suit. The jedi ace design was sleek and had a pack for moving around, plus a harness with built in shield. Cassandra was someone she had used and the member of shadow wing was moving into the smal airlock before being jettisoned as the LAAT buzzed in stealth mode towards Gir's main ship. The ship might trip the sensors and distract from the debris left behind as they tracked it.

Gir watched the Judiciary engage the Seeker and the mines. Small blossoms of fire errupted where the heavy cruiser's turbolasers hit their mark. Gir lightly drummed his fingers on the holo-projector's railing. More action than what we're seeing...at least for now. But the blonde man knew that the battle wasn't merely a sum of technological ability and tactical skill. It was a mental conflict as well. The man reluctantly turned his attention to the surroundings around his own vessel. Thus far nothing had happened, which Gir equated with his opponent trying to lure him into a false sense of security. After all, he and his crew couldn't endlessly be kept on high alert. That sort of scenario was mentally taxing, which could cause mistakes to happen. His sapphire blue eyes swept over the sensor overlay, pass the tumbling rocks of the asteroid belt and already categorized debris. He had noticed a new energy signatures, but his ships hadn't been in the area long enough to categorize them as naturally occurring phenomena like solar winds, or artificial activity like communications signals. But a single sliver of a signature seemed out of place among them. An almost minute heat signature that wouldn't even had caught Gir except that it was consistent in its temperature, and its movement pattern was far more direct and faster than any of the other signatures. Perhaps most importantly, it seemed to be approaching his group of vessels.

"Single out that signature there," ordered Gir, pointing a finger an approaching blip.

"Probably not anything significant," muttered the sensor operator, "most likely it's sensor ghost. The amount of latent heat there is maybe that of a person. But a person can't be moving that fast on his own, and I don't see any electronic signatures to suggest any sort of propulsion."

"That we can see," added Gir, "could be some sort of stealth drive, tractor beam, or some other obscure technology that Sa'adine cooked up."

"So now what? Tag it with weapon's fire?"

Gir shook his head, "We don't what it is, if it's even something. Let's see if we can snag it with a tractor beam. Just in case it's not, let's scramble a squad of Marinus droids out of an airlock to try and recover or engage it if necessary."

The man from Hast flipped a switch on his headset comlink, "Captain Arenais, would you like some supporting firepower to try and flush out your target?"

The black void of space was not lit up, flashes of weakened turbo lasers flying across the distance between the two fleets, impacting against their respective targets, for now though the Judiciary had not focused attention on her battle group. Probably due to their equal size, go after the weaker targets first and try to knock them out, wise, makes the battle more pitched but she knew that [member="Gir Quee"] and his craft were not far behind, hopfully the seeker would be able to handle things, but just for good measure she'd send the Ooyodo over to offer some fire support. It was only a cruiser in size but sported decent fire power.

"Admiral [member="Sala'dine"], I'm moving the Ooyoda over to your flank, the rail gun on it's forward prow will give you a small edge if needed, I'll continue to hold the rear with Kuma, my fighters are still on standby too, awaiting orders for a target". For the most part she just had them as a screen, knowing full well the enemy had a larger fighter force then they did, but if the opportunity presented itself they would go on the offensive, often one single action could decide the outcome of a battle. For the time being they would wait, and see how the 'enemy' would react, she preferred others made the first move, it gave a small insight into their strategy while leaving them open for a counter attack and unsure of what their opponent was like.

"Captain Arenais, would you like some supporting firepower to try and flush out your target?".
Veiere paused to look up, listening as the bridge intercom speakers revealed the unexpected transmission from [member="Gir Quee"]'s vessel, The Evening Tide. "I appreciate the support Admiral, however I wish to retain control of the situation for the time being. Given this is a training scenario, I'd like to see just what this vessel and my crew, as well as my own command, are made of", the Captain chuckled a little sheepishly under his breath following his response to The Evening Tide. A couple of his Senior Officers could be seen smiling to themselves, seemingly ready for the challenge. This was their first voyage and Veiere's first command as an enlisted Captain within the Silver Navy, and he wished to prove himself not just to the Order of the Silver Jedi, but most especially to himself; he wanted to know that he was up to the task.

"I want three of our LLS-2's out there immediately; Have the scouts clear out any remaining mines..." Veiere instructed to his Senior Staff, "Rorik, reroute power to the Capacitor banks for the Ion Cannons, maximum charge. As soon as the opposition is in sight, immobilize her" Veiere then turned to look to Vikras; "Commander, prepare our stealth drive. Once we've downed this bird, let's give our friends a little surprise..." there really wasn't a need for it, but with the Stygium cloaking field, Veiere had always wanted to put one to use. Should the opposing vessel be brought to a halt, he imagined the ships crew might near soil themselves when an approaching ship the size of the Judiciary would just up and disappear.
