- Appearance: Tall, dark, and handsome, Vaslav has an athletic physique and freckles from spending a lot of time in the sun. He often wears military-style uniforms or dark Jedi robes.

- Skills: Vaslav is a skilled lightsaber duelist and starfighter pilot. He is also proficient in martial arts. While at first impression he doesn't seem like much, he possesses a raw, blunt power in the Force which he can use to overwhelm his opponents. He lacks tact and subtlety.
- Personality: At a glance, Vaslav seems distant and aloof, the perfect stoic bruiser. A second glance reveals he is a simple-minded but sweet-natured person. He is capable of great compassion and kindness, but feels things very deeply and has difficulty understanding and empathizing with the viewpoints of others.

- Combat Function: Vaslav would be classified as a Jedi Guardian. He is more focused on combat than spirituality when it comes to the Force. He is also an accomplished swordsman, having reached advanced levels in all of the lightsaber forms, particularly Juyo.
- Strong in the Force: Vaslav embraces the Force without fear or restraint, letting its power flow through him. His state of mind is such that he can handle the raw eddies of the cosmic sea without being sucked under - perhaps because he doesn't try to complicate the Force, he's just happy to be part of it all.
- Sith Discipline: Raised by a Sith Lord for much of his childhood, Vaslav was taught obedience and discipline. The latter helps to keep his edge.
- Socially Inept: Vaslav tends to be very reserved and a bit cold, though he has a good heart.
- Blunt Instrument: Do not use Vaslav for delicate work. He's the type of agent you send in to shoot-'em-up, kicking butts and taking names.
- Loyal to a Fault: As mentioned, he tends to not question authority and is perhaps a little too faithful for his own good.
Though he was very young at the time of this exchange, Vaslav remembers it well. While he was at first disturbed by the new place he found himself in and rebelled against the strange shift in circumstances, he soon was no longer afraid of the deformed Messala, who earned his trust.
Once his powers began to manifest in surges of wild activity, he began training one-on-one with Messala. During one of these early sessions, Vaslav accidentally burned his master with a spontaneous manifestation of Force Light. Somehow, the boy had developed his own Light Side aura despite being raised as a Sith. But rather than trying to change this, Messala saw an opportunity to create something unique. He fostered the growth of the boy's powers in the Light, drawing inspiration from the so-called Light Sith (or Bright Lords), an obscure sect defined by their hatred of the bloodlust and backstabbing among mainstream Sith. The results bore fruit, with Vaslav becoming the most advanced of all Messala's child apprentices.
When Vaslav was about fourteen, Messala lost virtually everything to the Bryn'adul, forcing him to relocate his family to a remote research facility in the arctic zone of Dahrtag. There, Messala was tracked down by his enemies, defeated, and imprisoned in amber. The dozen children he had adopted were turned over to the Silver Jedi Order for training, or placed in foster care.
Vaslav found himself cut off from all that he had known and thrust into a strange new world. He didn't find the ways of the Jedi so different from what he had been taught, however, and soon the boy was thriving. He was recruited into the Silver Shadows, where he completed his training. His first major battle was on a desert world in the Outer Rim, where he was among the Shadows who attempted to arrest Darth Xiphos. He was also part of the second arrest attempt on Kerest, where he fought Darth Themis and her Serpents.
