Days ago, Ingrid spotted an unimaginable alarm outside the Empire. Not military but civilian, so it was not of interest to the Eternal Empire. Followed the call, had problems at an underwater base and asked for an immediate evacuation. She knew a single person nearby who could help here, so that’s why she called her. Second, she had to talk to the woman anyway, for after torturous weeks, months, she finally found a way to give back to the woman what she had stolen from her by accident a long time ago.

The point is that Scherezade came and with her they managed to fix the problem. Also managed to evacuate everyone from the base which was under attacked by droids. The troubles began after that. The two women wanted to leave with the last escape pod, but before they could step to the escape pod's deck, the pod exploded. Both women immediately lost consciousness, fortunately they were not injured. They wake up, that they lie in water and the water level in the hangar is constantly increasing.

As soon as she regained consciousness, Ingrid immediately tried to look around, and she tried to contact the escaped groups on a line of communication. However, it was completely deaf, and up close, from the corridors, the sound of droids could be heard. So at first they seemed to be stuck here. Her head hurt a little, probably hit by the helmet when she lost consciousness.

”After these... it sounds pretty stupid. But I called you because I found a way to give it back your anger. And I have so much to tell… Are you ok?” she said painfully.

She tried to stand up, dizzy at first, so she only managed to do it all the second time. They had to find another way to get out of here, there was nothing to do here in the hangar. As she saw two exits looking around, they came in on one and opposite another, which in principle led to the residential areas that had long been evacuated. The sound of the droids was heard from both sides, they didn't seem to get away without a fight.

”Where do we go from here? Do you have any intuition?” she asked from her companion.

What in the seven hecks had brought her to come to this mission?! Ingrid was her friend, yes. That was probably the reason. Otherwise, there was nothing that would've made the Sithling join something that was frigging' UNDER the water! Over the course of her incredibly short life, she had somehow developed several healthy habits or self preservation, and being afraid of water was one of them, since the girl couldn't swim. A few people had promised to teach her, but so far they'd all ditched before the time came, so she ended up never daring to go anywhere that was deeper than knee deep.

And then this. It was supposed to have gone fine, but then the big boom happened, and the next thing Scherezade knew, she was blinking while lying in a rising level of water. There was absolutely no way this could end up well. A large part of her wanted to go and, once this event was over, go boil all the waters in all the worlds until it all evaporated. No more deep water! The future was dry!

Are you okay, she heard Ingrid's voice. Scherezade blinked, only now realizing that while the future might be dry, the present was very wet, and she forced herself up to sit, not answering just yet. Was she okay? Well. No. She was livid, but more than that, being surrounded by so much water out right terrified her.

Eventually, she managed to stand up as well.

"What was that about giving my anger back?" she asked. Somewhere in the back of her mind she knew the incident to which her friend had referred to, but in that moment it all seemed so distant. How could Ingrid even think about stuff like that right now? If the water took over, they were screwed. If they opened an airlock and into the water, they were screwed. Unless they got out of here and onto land, they were screwed. Basically, they were screwed, and while she was gifted with the Force indeed, she doubted her ability to create a ritual to transfer her essence to somewhere before their water clock had run up. "Oh," she remembered, "Umm. Next time you can just say so. You don't have to bring me underwater for that."

She tried to laugh.

It didn't work.

Scherezade could hear the droids fighting on either side of them, but she couldn't actually see them. And, since they were droids, she couldn't sense them either.

"Can we turn this into a water ship and float to the surface?" she asked as she chewed on her inner lip for a moment. These rooms were a distance from the water. It gave them more time. "Hijack one of those droids for a blueprint of the place and see how we can get out?"

Her malaise began to fade, which she was definitely happy about. Double vision also improved, though she still couldn't see the droids whose voices could be heard. It was good in that they at least had some time before they arrived. To put themselves in order, because the way she saw and felt, it would have really fit herself. But she had a feeling for her companion as well. Out of habit, Ingrid nodded quickly at Scherezade's words, which made her dizzy and nauseous again. That was not the best decision.

”I will remember it, but after this, I don't really want to go under water again…”

She stays with the frosty, cold planets, she loved them the most anyway if she was born in a place like that anyway. And anyway, she had little opportunity to work on such planets. The “normal” warm climate has always been preferred by employers, and many have lived there. Or right here right underwater. Rather, they would have been underground, there is a greater chance of survival.

She had to think about the question, luckily she understood the technical stuff well enough, so if they have enough time, it might be feasible, but it’s also a great question of how much time they have and of course how much the droids ruin it all by what they do. And whether they will survive.

”We're deep enough so I don't know. Maybe if you could reach the communications center and give another alarm. There are quite a few boats out there thanks to us, someone just coming back for us.”

At least she dared to hope so. The droids got closer and closer, trying to activate her lightsabers, but both were full of water and couldn't do it. So whatever droids there were, she had to fight them without a physical weapon. Ingrid already regretted not bringing a vibroweapons with herself. And the shadows of the droids were already there at both entrances.
