  • Age
    • Exterior: About twelve years.
    • Interior: About three years.
  • Model
  • Appearance
Twinkle Doom looks like what you'd expect an astromech to look like, even though he most certainly is not that. He comes in pink and gray and usually needs like he needs a good wipe to get a lot of dust off of him. The only thing that sets Twinkle Doom from other astromechs is his insides, which had been completely altered. He is not, after all, an astromech.

  • Name: Twinkle Doom
  • Loyalties: Scherezade deWinter Scherezade deWinter , Whimsy
  • Notable Equipment: n/a
  • Skills: Finances, slicing and programming, whining, electrocuting people who annoy him.
  • Personality: Twinkle Doom is one of the most apathetic droids you will ever come across. He does not care about danger, he does not care about joy, he does not care about… Anything, really, other than ensuring that he remains intact. The only time he has ever shown any kind of concern was when Scherezade threatened to remove his CPU core and delete him. Beyond his lack of interest or ability to show empathy or emotion, Twinkle Doom is very down to business. He does not appreciate lack of efficiency and tries to do everything he is tasked with as quickly as possible so he can have some down time. If he does not get proper down time, he becomes irritated and may send small zaps of electrocution to surrounding organics.

  • Weapon of Choice: The only thing that resembles a weapon that is part of Twinkle Doom's physique is the little rod that is attached to his body and can be folded inwards. The rod lets him send electric zaps out, but requires melee distance and doesn't really do any actual harm.
  • Combat Function: Twinkle Doom cannot survive combat. He has no weapons. He has no real armor. His electrocution of organics is like a small electric zap you get when you touch your car sometimes. The only thing he will do if faced with violence is try to wheel/run away.

  • Lord of Algorithm - His knack is not to only maintain the systems that perform the matches between children's parents and birthday party entertainers (as used in Whimsy Children's Birthday Planning), but also have enough insight to improve and widen its function over time, thus creating a hefty income of credits for Whimsy.
  • Sturdy - Really, no one is sure how he survived several of the things he's been through on the physical level. Experts agree that his shell should've completely come apart by now. At one point, his core was held in place with bubblegum and hairspray. He's fine now though, with money invested in making him shiney and new. His response? Roll around a mud pile, wipe most of it off, and return to work.

  • Not a combatant. Cannot fight. The zap function isn't anywhere near enough for something like that.
  • Hates sand.

Most of Twinkle Doom's history was wiped long before Scherezade deWinter took him. When she came across the droid, he was under ownership of a band of Coruscanti Underground Trandoshians who were after her, claiming there was a blood debt to settle. Scherezade and her companion for the day killed the Trandoshians, the droid attempted to escape, but the two caught him, and Scherezade removed his CPU core. True to her chaotic yet glitter loving nature, Scherezade named her new droid Twinkle Doom.

After that same weekend on Corucant, Scherezade took the droid to her aunt Asteria deWinter Asteria deWinter , whom she knew to know to program droids. Her aunt informed her that although he looked like an astromech, he had mostly protocol inner workings. The two worked together to prime his programming to suit Scherezade's needs, and during his time with her he mostly scanned Confederacy public announcements and documents, learning which were relevant to pass on to Scherezade and which were not.

Twinkle Doom is proficient in understanding over a thousand languages around the galaxy, but he can only vocalize in Binary. He performs his duties in a very analytical matter, making him a perfect candidate for SEO work. He also approaches missions in a very cold, calculated, and logic manner.

While Scherezade and Twinkle Doom lived together on the Giggledust, they communicated very rarely, and she treated him more like smart furniture. When she cast the blood spell that would be rid of her memories and who she was, Twinkle Doom was not part of the plans, and he remained aboard the Giggledust.

The Giggledust was taken into hiding in Silver Jedi Order territory. Twinkle Doom, bored on the dark ship, completed the paperwork required to open Whimsy as an official company, and began to work, setting money aside for a day he will never admitted to be waiting for – the day Scherezade comes back.

It took nine months for that to happen.

Twinkle Doom continued to work in that time, though he never moved from his place in the ship's cockpit, gathering dust piles on his body. When Scherezade was returned into existence, it happened on the very same ship, one floor below. The blood magic spells that she had put in place all that time ago did their job, and the first thing she did once back was climb up the empty elevator shaft of her ship and go see him.

He greeted her by continuously zapping her. A droid has no feelings, but it was clear that he was upset. Even now, almost a year later, he still zaps her much more often than he used to, and Scherezade believes he has never really forgiven her for leaving him there in the first place.

Nowadays, Twinkle Doom can be found in a variety of Whimsy-related places. He's even been given his very own office with connections to Whimsy and AoC intel. He also put in a request to have his own flat in the city, to be used on the days in which the Giggledust was not docked at the Eve dockyard. Though is he currently tagged as an almost completely independent droid, Twinkle Doom has been seen hiding out in Scherezade's office on more than one occasion.
