ADVANCED SYSTEMS
STRENGTHS
  • Scout: The Trouble Seeker unusually has two separate sensor arrays, a StarSight and an ANq-51, that have integrated together via the ship's computers to give the Trouble Seeker excellent perception abilities.
  • Stealth Ship: The Trouble Seeker is equipped with a variety of stealth systems, making it in many ways very similar to the old StealthX, potentially allowing it to travel undetected, especially with its shields deactivated and running on its baffled drives.
  • High Performance Craft: The Trouble Seeker's lightweight hull and powerful engines make it a fairly fast and nimble craft.
WEAKNESSES
  • Unshielded (Stealth mode): For the Trouble Seeker to make the most use of its stealth features, its shields must be deactivated, as its shield signature may be detected (albeit with a weaker signature than normal) by sensors like DERs.
  • Low Performance Craft (Stealth mode): At its stealthiest levels, the Trouble Seeker has to use baffled and/or chemical drives, meaning that its flight performance in both speed and maneuverability is lessened, though it is often still far better than the average, mass produced starfighter.
DESCRIPTION
The Trouble Seeker started out life as a Lucerne Labs prototype that was testing the ability of using Starskimmer-series hull technology to recreate legacy craft. Much like the Afterthought, after a series of modifications and more testing of possible stealth systems, the Trouble Seeker was donated to the Silver Jedi Order where it eventually ended up in the hands of Roy Vermilion. It is nearly as a stealthy as a true cloaked ship - stealth systems include a nonferromagnetic hull, baffled ion engines, chemical drives, sensor mask, and a di-chrome plated hull. But While it the potential to be a highly stealthy craft, much of its actual stealth is highly dependent on the skill and thoughtfulness of the user. Generally speaking, the slower the Trouble Seeker moves and with less systems powered up, the more stealthy it becomes. If stealth is not a concern, the Trouble Seeker can act as a high performance starfighter with a reduced sensor signature on standard sensors. Exceptionally fast and maneuverable, as a direct combat craft the Trouble Seeker still has the offensive and defensive power of the traditional X-wing albeit with more versatility thanks to Lucerne Labs's characteristically adaptable technology. One of the experiments with the Trouble Seeker involved using it as a tactical scout, which lead to a highly improved sensor package as well as enlarged fuel tanks, which give it a much greater range than the typical snubfighter. These qualities will hopefully prove useful to the jedi knight as he embarks on adventures with the Silver Jedi Order.
