GENERAL INFORMATION

• Unit Name: Tiva Misinas - “Shock Skirmishers”
• Affiliation: The Kainate
• Classification: Shock Infantry - War Slave Corps
• Description: The logical next step of the Black Iron Tyrant’s conquest of the Loimisa Seseli tribes on Paraklak II, the Tiva Misinas represents the most capable of Seseli warriors, organized into a host to serve as an auxiliary formation of the Kainate Grand Army. Taking advantage of the Seseli’s great numbers and expendability, the Tiva Misinas are often utilized as battlefield pack hunters, using their speed to outflank and take down larger, more formidable units. However, given the proclivities of the Seseli towards violence and cruel, capricious acts, the Tiva Misinas is also utilized as a terror unit. When set loose on civilian settlements like a pack of wild dogs, the Seseli will freely massacre, raze, plunder, despoil, and feast on their targets, often accompanied by high-pitched notes of wicked, cackling laughter.
  
  The Tiva Misinas are typically deployed alongside other units, whether those be regular strand-cast infantry of the Grand Army, the Blackblade Guard, Graug of the Dark Legion, and even the Mandalorians of the Death Watch. Due to their speed, the Tiva Misinas work extremely well as a complement to these units, flanking the enemy while their larger allies rain down suppressing firepower. When faced with a two-pronged, contrasting force, few can stand against the Tiva Misinas and their allies in battle.

  • Skirmisher - Typically equipped with a vibroblade, a pistol or SMG or shotgun, and a small number of grenades. Skirmishers are by far the most common unit type in the Tiva Misinas, representing a fast-moving, pack hunter archetype.
  • Vanguard - Typically equipped with a carbine or rifle, Vanguards provide ranged firepower and generally serve as the designated gunners of the unit.
  • Seeker - Scout units typically equipped with an SMG and secondary vibroblade. Otherwise are lightly-armored and equipped to maximize speed and agility.
  • Eliminator - Typically armed with a sniper rifle, along with a secondary pistol or SMG. Eliminators are the specialized snipers of the Tiva Misinas, engaging targets at long range, before using their speed to relocate or retreat.
  • Interceptor - Typically armed with twin pistols, SMGs, or wrist blasters, along with a small number of grenades. Interceptors are the elite close to medium-range killers of the Tiva Misinas, capable of unleashing devastating amounts of firepower against larger enemies. While rare compared to Skirmishers, Interceptors are drawn from the fastest and most talented combatants, with many considering them to be the very elite of the Tiva Misinas.
  • Reaver - Typically armed with twin vibroblades, disc launchers, and a secondary pistol. Reavers are aggressive melee combatants, using their speed and blades to take down enemies in close range dances of death.
  • Chiurgeon - Support units, typically armed with a pistol and carry medical equipment. May take a secondary function as interrogators or torturers.
  • Purifier - Typically armed with a flamethrower, often functioning in the capacity of a terror and shock unit.
  • Cataphract - Speeder bike pilots equipped with secondary pistols or SMGs. Due to their fast reflexes, Seseli make for excellent riders and are capable of piloting their machines with skill and precision far beyond that of unaugmented humans.
  • Bomber - Typically armed with a larger number of grenades and explosives, in addition to grenade launchers. These units may also function as sappers and engineers.

Strengths:

• Make a New One - The life of an individual Seseli is worth very little in the brutal context of the Kainate’s war machine. Fortunately, the ranks of the Tiva Misinas are easily replenished, as the unit has a crèche of dedicated Spawn Queens who can quickly spawn fresh Seseli bodies to recover losses.
• Fast Movers - Composed exclusively of Loimisa Seseli, a Sithspawn species capable of extremely high footspeeds, it goes without saying that the Tiva Misinas are a fast-moving unit, with individual skirmishers capable of running at the speeds of a groundcar on an expressway. Naturally, they often use their speed to strafe larger, slower units, using hit-and-fade attacks and diversionary actions.

Weaknesses:

• Firepower - While their firepower is generally adequate to take down man-sized targets, beyond that, the Tiva Misinas tends to struggle. Since the Seseli are smaller in stature than typical soldiers, they are generally unable to carry larger weapons such as machine guns or rotary cannons, limited to using these in static emplacements. Bombers can provide a level of anti-vehicle capability in a pinch, but they are by no means ideal.
• Discipline - When it comes to killing and committing cruel, capricious acts against hapless civilians or prisoners, the Seseli of the Tiva Misinas can be quite overzealous. It can be difficult, if not impossible to suppress these tendencies, making them somewhat ineffective when tasked with operations that demand discretion or restraint in this regard.
• Artillery - Lacking the means to fulfill this role on their own, The Tiva Misinas depend on other units for artillery and heavy indirect fire support.
