SPECIAL FEATURES

  • Interchangeable Parts: Parts can be swapped out from any rifle-type weapon of the ‘Enforcer’ line, making the EF-200 Sniper Rifle a highly dependable sniper rifle.

  • Mechanical Design: Due to its pure, streamlined mechanical design, the EF-200 rarely ever experiences complications or failures through use barring extreme physical damage to the weapon itself. This lack of electronic mechanisms render the weapon impervious to EMP or Ion damage.

STRENGTHS

  • +Mechanical Design: (See special features)

  • +High Caliber: The EF-200 is designed around the use of .50 caliber rounds, which to use the words of one special operations sniper, could “knock an imp on their ass, from 10 blocks away, while hiding behind a durasteel chiller.” Colloquialisms aside, if loaded with armor-piercing .50 caliber rounds, this rifle could effectively bisect the engine block of lightly armored vehicles from several hundred meters away.

WEAKNESSES

  • -Low Rate of Fire: While serviceable in a wide variety of battlefield applications, the EF-200 is not the best option for sniping a large amount of targets in quick succession due to its high recoil and low magazine size.

  • -Munition Dependant: Although this might be an obvious drawback, it should still be noted that this weapon’s effectiveness is entirely dependent on the quantity and type of ammunition one has access to. While standing well on its own compared to blaster-based competitors, one advantage such platforms have over the EF-200 is that blaster technology is more efficient with its power cells to prevent ammunition from being a significant detriment.

DESCRIPTION
The EF-200 is considered to be one of the most dependable and high-powered base-line rifles on the market, serving as a common fixture among SWAT teams, planetary defense forces, & paramilitary organizations throughout the galaxy. The biggest feature of the rifle is the return of .50 caliber rounds into mainstream use, which are capable of eliminating heavily armored individuals and lightly armored reconnaissance/assault vehicles at range. One of the greatest selling points amongst snipers is its ease to maintain and repair given the Enforcer-line’s ability to use parts from any weapon within the series, whether it be the firing mechanism from an assault rifle, or the grip and trigger of the pistol.

In short, if you want the ability to bury a krayt dragon six feet under (metaphorically, GDI is not responsible for being ingested by a Krayt dragon), look no further than GDI’s Enforcer-series sniper rifle!
