- Description: The Dauntless 701st Mobile Infantry, also known as Titan Battalion is one of the battalions that make up the Dauntless Marine Corps. Comprised of soldiers from the Bassadro Sector, and primarily operating alongside the Bassadro Sector Armada, the 701st is a minority in the Defense Force in that it is a regiment of soldiers that are organic life-forms, a rarity among the endless droid legions that are so iconic to the Confederacy's image. Designated as 'Mobile Infantry,' the 701st are trained to excel in any situation; aerial insertion, prolonged campaigns, and frontline assault being some of the many various situations that the 701st have trained for. The soldiers of Titan Battalion are able to operate in almost any condition, be it slogging through heavyset mud, underwater combat or zero-g maneuvers. Individual soldiers are encouraged to approach situations with creative, unorthodox methods in order to swiftly and efficiently achieve victory. Lethal on the battlefield, the 701st like any Mobile Infantry battalion is almost akin to an entire legion of standard droids, and are a valuable asset for any military commander to have in their arsenal.

- Goals: To support the widescale missions of the Confederate Droid Armies, Confederate Naval Command, and both the foreign and domestic interests of the Confederate Defense Force and Confederacy of Independent System.
- Reputation: Titan Battalion is a fairly new battalion within the Dauntless Marine Corps and the Defense Force as a whole, but was regarded as one of the finest new companies during its time in basic training and advance Marine camp. Nevertheless, a lack of combat experience and time inaction has contributed to a lack of reputation for Titan company.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
The shield, sword, and spear of the Confederacy, the Defense Force, and Dauntless Marine Corps have long served under the Confederacy's flag. Battles across countless theatres and wars won on dozens of worlds all speak as a testimony to the reputation and capabilities of the military of the CIS. The valor of every division, every naval crew, and every army captain is unquestionable, but from the start, the Dauntless Marines were a different breed. Unlike the rank-and-file droid soldiers of the army, the Marines exhibited a new kind of spirit and vigor that challenged those all around them. They were unafraid of battle, unafraid of death, unafraid to win eternal glory for themselves and their nation.
The 701st Dauntless Mobile Infantry, or Titan Battalion, is no exception. A newly formed regiment, the soldiers of Titan Battalion stand amongst legends. Fresh out of basic training, the soldiers of Titan Battalion stood out amongst their fellow recruits during basic training and advanced combat, earning praise from the commandants of the Dauntless training program. Now, the men and women of the 701st stand ready to prove that they, too, deserve to fight among the Confederacy's best.
