DESCRIPTION

Though the Imperial Confederation may have collapsed, the Mahporeem Imperial Remnant has found itself busier than ever, as it continues to expand its business dealings with various planetary governments and intergalactic corporations. To ensure that it remains able to handle the ever increasing amounts of scrap and salvage material that it receives every day, the Imperial Remnant has created the TIE/CL, or TIE Cargo Loader.

A relatively simple and inexpensive modification to the venerable TIE series, the TIE/CL is most notable for the addition of two large Grip Manipulator Arms installed on either side of the vehicle's cockpit. These arms are capable of lifting, carrying and handling large amounts of cargo while also allowing their pilot to engage in repair, salvage and search and rescue duties.

Of course, the drastic modifications to the TIE/CL have drastically impacted the ship's performance, turning it into a strictly dedicated support vehicle. If forced to fight, the TIE/CL can use its L-s1 Laser Cannons and Grip Manipulator Arms to defend itself, but should actively avoid any sort of combat at all costs, due to its light armor, low speed and poor overall maneuverability.
