With outer defenses and structures thousands of meters tall and a veritable network of inner hive-like paths through the mountain the Palace is a labyrinth for anyone not familiar with it's design to navigate. Drawing on ancient design philosophies each major entrance to the Palace proper consists of three gated, shielded entrances with various side-rooms bearing firing slits and cover for the defenders. Redundant shielding and defensive walls giving it truly impressive defenses to juxtapose it's many other more benign and opulent uses.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Constructed in the years following his active return to the galaxy The Shaper spared no expense, no influence and no amount of his dark inspiration in the construction of his fortress palace. Beginning as a simple construction overlooking a desolate Corbosian mining settlement The Shaper has expanded the infrastructure to encompass the entirety of Mount Naefas from both within and without. With the Tower of Saud'Akute overlooking the Dark-Side corrupted mountain from the other side and defensive infrastructure spanning the entire base of the fortified protrusion of land The Shaper quickly began to gather attention to the otherwise barren and inhospitable land of Corbos. Mining operations began to become more successful, the palace made more opulent and alluring for the more wealthy to live near to be closer to the New Emperor. All the while the nexus of the Dark Side it began to embody only grew in power with each decadent thought, each envious gaze, each and every blasphemous sorcery cast within. Until it finally became the fitting seat of a ruler of the Sith.
