The Righteous Side of Hell [Republic Re-Invasion of Alderaan vs. One Sith {Masters & NFUs only}]

Alderaan Palace
Kiskla groaned slightly, and her helmet folded back into the collar of her armour. The Sith [member="Darth Isolda"] had attempted to penetrate her mind, but she’d kept it clear enough to eradicate the threat for now. There was much else to focus on. The dust and dirt of the ruined palace had settled, and the Grandmaster and her companion, [member="Michael Sardun"] were left to uncover who and what they could. There had been a few royal houses they’d been able to liberate after the Sith’s mass exodus, and that had been a small victory in itself.

Kiskla hoisted the shoulder of a royal, and they leaned on her lithe body for support. Ashes clung to their beautifully garbed clothing, and they coughed out small plumes of smoke from the rubble.

Mid-evacuation, Kiskla’s comm beeped and she activated her reception channel. The antarian ranger, [member="November Sinclair"], sent a command through the ranks. Someone on Anaxes had responded.

“Reinforcements are coming.” Kiskla whispered, as a small announcement to the dark-haired Master that she was working with. “Alderaan may yet be saved.”

Aldera Ruins
Present Day;

Those reinforcements took a while to come.

During that time, Aldera had been reduced to ruins under The One Sith’s direction, and they’d established the city as a major outpost for their army. During this time, Kiskla and her companion had not left the planet of Alderaan. Instead, they’d worked with a strong group of opposers to the One Sith’s presence. A rebellion of sorts — while staying mostly out of sights until the Grandmaster received confirmation that The Republic’s reinforcements were incoming. Civillians hosted them, but they mostly wandered from village to village, staying rom sight through Alderaan’s rich forests. They were almost nomadic as they moved, taking tedious paths to avoid the Sith patrols. Each day they got nearer to Aldera city, while waiting for the confirmation of The Republic’s impending arrival. From time to time, some of the motley crew were concerned that they had become forgotten. Between herself, Master Sardun, and [member="Captain Wells"], they kept the morale up as much as possible.

The timing could not have been more perfect with their dwindling rations.

The static of her Belova Operative Bracer picked up, and the incoming message was loud and clear. Perfect timing too, for the group of collective idealists and rebels were upon the One Sith’s established base.

The blonde stood at the front line of the trees. With a few more steps, and the canopy of protective flora would not longer offer a sanctuary. They would be upon the ruins — many things felt wrong to the Jedi Master. They felt evil, like a nexus of despair was being brewed here.

She stood with her back to the huddle of warriors behind her, blonde tresses billowing gently in the light breeze. She observed the ruins of Aldera from her disadvantaged viewpoint.
It had once been a pristine and clean city, ivory towers threatening to pierce the sky. Now, it lay crumbled and contorted. Darkened by ash and various fumes and other stains.

The people behind her had been her only companions for half a month, and now it was likely she’d not see many of them again. It was time to bolster their spirits. Determined, she turned to face them, reviewing each of their dirt-stained faces one by one before she spoke:

“For centuries Alderaan has stood as a beacon of hope For The Republic. But the One Sith came, and with one savage strike, brought Alderaan to her knees.

Time is running out, we are few to face the enemy. We remained here out of choice. One choice in knowing that we must fight. For victory, or death.

Always: For The Republic!”

Location 2:
The Ruins of Aldera.
The full might of the Republic returns to claim what is rightfully theirs, but realizes that Aldera has been infested by the technology of the Yuuzhan Vong and that the One Sith are attempting to Vongform the planet. Aldera is fortified and the main standing army of the One Sith remains there.

Location 2 is open to Masters and NFUs only.

"Again on this planet? Such war on such beauty. Its rather trouble some if I do say so myself." Still, he stepped onwards, confident that once again the jedi would fail to recognize him as one of their own. Especially since now he had changed. His golden eyes gave off a radiant glow from behind his mask and his ears flicked at the side of his head. Then, there was the matter of his gloves, from which talons could be seen protruding from the cloth. There were of course, various other changes to his body, caused by becoming a true Zorren but for the moment, such things were best left to be seen when the time for their usage. For now, Tsolan simply waited, hoping to sense a familiar presence and one worthy of his saber.

The call for battle had come.

Zaren Bouqi hadn't been present on Alderaan when the battle had been taking place. Instead he sulked on Tython over the events on Ossus. Things that had happened so long ago. Now however, he understood that it wasn't right to focus on things in the past.

Not anymore.

Not ever.

It just wasn't something that the Great and Amazing Zaren Bouqi did! Instead, he took up the beliefs that he had always followed in his younger years as a Padawan.

The past is over and done with. There was nothing you could change about it. The only thing you could do was live with it, never question yourself, lest the seed of doubt spreads. It was always better to look to the future and simply live the present.

Whether short or brief, it was a life.

Zaren Bouqi's StealthX descended through the sky. His shields were severely depleted from the One Sith Defense Taskforce in orbit, but it was necessary for him to break through alone. If there was all of Wraith Squadron smashing through the defensive fleet, then it'd bring all eyes on them. Besides, if he hurried, perhaps he could beat the AA Turrets.

H descended through the skies, shields practically glowing with the red signifying his hot descent glowing around his ship. He knew it would be heating up if he had no shields, and he was thankful for them. What he would also be thankful for would be no... AA Guns.

All he had to do was start heading to the right location, and he would group up with the Grandmaster or whatever other Jedi he encountered. He could only hope his Padawans fought hard and well on the other side of the planet.

Saki

Came in like a wrecking maul
Allies: Jedi/Republic
Enemies: One Sith

"I don't have any fancy speeches for you." Saki just looked at the man who had gotten her down while she stood there in the Breaker Armor popping her neck. She was ready for a fight and had no illusions that that was what would be here, some humor of course the ones who had brought her needed that but she was moving now out of the ship as the large Greithoth Casing was in her hand. The force already augmenting her body and strength to lift it up to her shoulder with ease. Feats of strength were what she needed before moving into the view of two troopers at the corners.

Her eyes focused on them for a moment as she moved spinning around for a moment and launching the case with a crunch sound as one was through the wall and the other pinned under the case. The jedi master walking up towards him and delivering a punch while she opened the case and aside from the space for her armor grabbed what she would need. The Skirn and Skaldi rods as they went onto the Bodo Baas Gunbelt belt with geltabs and the contents of her Jedi Utility Belt. Her hand grabbing the Taozin bracelet from Sasori and wrapping it around her upper arm like a stretched band.

Then she was moving to the rest of the equipment and was glad to be wearing under the armor where it couldn't be ripped away the Sigil of Hope and her Murr earrings, a spare Equipment Pack going over her shoulder with whatever might prove useful such as grenades and more of the geltabs. Healing juice in a package you could eat available at most stop overs from Silk, her hands drifting to the chained Skullthumper while she tested the turadium blades of her gauntlets and bracers. The protection greatly offered and Saki closed the case letting it hiss. Her hands slinging the chain and weight over her shoulder before running over her shaved head.

"Alright move out." She didn't expect much and they for now had that small element of time before the enemy arrived to really wade into them. Forgoing the tanks and gunships for a straight up fight that would if anything buy the others like [member="Sophia Walsh"] time. The time she needed to work and win the battle of the planet that was a gambit already with how much had happened last time and how little people came to the defense. She wasn't expecting much here with this so might as well go for broke and do everything possible... At least she mused she wouldn't have to worry about a council to tell things to.

That thought bringing some sliver of joy as it meant little she expected nothing to change but more politicking to the position. Saki was in the ruins of the street while she closed her eyes and waited for a moment allowing the force to whisper through her, letting it wash over her core and touch each and every part of her tha was there. Her foot rose and she stomped letting the earth shaping resonate and send it further, she wanted one thing to appear. [member="Darth Hauntruss"]'s giant worm again, she had fought the ancient sith on it, in it and everywhere else she wanted a rematch and it was the biggest thing they had.

He'd come with the reinforcements and linked up with the survivors. He'd found them ragged, worn, and on the run, but not beaten. It was both saddening and encouraging at the same time. That the Republic had been resorted to a rag-tag bunch of refugees and survivors was terrible, but the fact that they had survived and were more than willing to fight back brought pride to his heart.

He wore the standard issue Warden-class armor, helmet included, and carried a PDW-M1 Neutralizer in his hands. Grenades, ammo, and other equipment hung off his web gear and a M837 blaster pistol hung on his thigh. He'd seen what Force users could do to a soldier carrying explosives and had taken the liberty to prevent the problem as much as he could. A few plastic zip ties held the pins in place and he kept them overtop the actual alusteel armor plating. If an enemy managed to pull the pin off of it despite the tie there and he couldn't pull the thing off in time, it would cause less damage more than likely.

The soldier armed his SMG and looked up at the Grand Master beside him, nodding but once.

"I'm with you ma'am," he said firmly. "My orders are to support you and keep you alive."

From a vantage point near One Sith command, Daella overlooked the ruins of Aldera. To her knowledge, most of the damage to the palace had been intentional on the One Sith’s part. The hospital and University - tremendous civil resources - had been devastated by the battle. She found it difficult to find which side was at fault for either of those.

The effort to restore Alderaan would take a tremendous amount of time - assuming the Dark Lord even desired to do such a thing. From the whispers that Daella heard, it was possible that the planet would be Vongformed for the Yuuzhan Vong allies that the One Sith had.

Any such plans that the One Sith had for Alderaan would have to be put on hold with the Second Battle of Alderaan beginning. Daella’s eyes observed Republic reinforcements attempt to storm the rubble. Not wasting time, Daella departed from her perch at command and searched out for an opponent with [member="Darth Mierin"].

It’s 3am, and the invasion has begun; a soft breeze deploying armies of snowflakes deadset on taking the city as its own. It’s ten degrees below. Perhaps pollution is to blame, but who knows what any of that means anymore?

It hasn’t been this cold in Aldera since an entire generation woke up one morning to find they would not be attending college this semester; since their parents discovered they would not be getting reimbursed.

Aldera has its own seasons outside the bequest of nature, beyond the demands of planetary positioning. The same old white crap dumps on it as it does every winter, but, really, nothing changes but the fashion. By morning, the streets will remain navigable and the people will zip up their coats and trot off to work without hesitation. Because if Aldera understands one thing, it’s that it could always be worse.

He will keep his head down, he will not complain, and he will just have to work overtime to pay for off-planet enrollment.

It could always be worse. You don’t have to keep reminding him.

Oh, but Aldera, have I got news for you…

Theed awakes, Dantooine polishes off its lunch, and Coruscant rubs its groggy eyes, wondering just how its ever going to get a good night’s sleep while working a schedule like this.

So many suns. So many daughters. All dancing to Circadian rhythms.

“Eric, we have a clean-up on aisle seven.” A bulletin broke through the hypnotics of muzak; a song about heartbreak made routine by the hook-writing of marketing psychologists, reminding everyone that all trauma is endurable with the right soundtrack. Benedict looked up from where he’d zoned out in the produce aisle, a tiny, bat-faced woman snatched an apple from just the right spot to see its peers tumbling down upon the floor in twos and threes.

The Jedi were here again, hungry for the microwave dinners of revenge and potato matter.

But, surprise, cowardly Aldera was nowhere to be found.

The woman went to look around, unsure if whether or not she should feel embarrassed or even guilty, but found herself terrified as she caught the eye of the inkblot standing out like a bruise among the produce. Her pupils shrank, he sockets grew, and she looked as if she were about to scream, fixed in place as she awaited additional social cues. But as Benedict stood his ground, arching only a brow in response, the woman ceased, turned around, and walked off, not so much as giving the wasted fruit another thought.

Aldera didn’t know quite what to feel anymore. Its heart beat simply because it could, because it was supposed to.

“Wasted fruit.” I meant the apples, you twat.

Soft drinks. Canned goods. In the freezer aisle, Benedict passed a man who abhorred the notion of spanking children when at dinner parties or listening to the radio mutter, “Just kill that fething kid, already.” The fluorescent tubes hummed from above like a dozen lightsabers primed for an execution, but, in the end, had not the courage or perhaps the will to enact any final judgment beyond making everyone look a tad uglier. Like they needed the bloody help.

Independent distributors made their rounds, shuffling the old product to the front, restocking empty space. One guy for every umbrella corporation, the aisles teeming with life and employment opportunity; the song and dance of “Freedom” and “Choice.”

RokaCola or Starpop. Raid or Black Flag. One Sith or the Republic. Pick whichever one you want, mate. It doesn’t matter.

It’ll all kill you eventually.

Benedict deposited a box of rat poison upon the conveyor belt, the computer beeping in registry. The opening and closing of automatic doors. The skid of carts. The dull, unlocatable roar of a collective sentient existence just outside of comprehension. “Booma Slims, too, yeah?”

“For the wife?” Booma Slims were understood to be cigarettes marketed at females, some inarticulable correlation between the XX chromosomal pairing and longer, slimmer cigarette.

“What? Are you some kind of pervert or somefing? Just give us the bloody cigarettes.”

“Okay, okay. Sorry,” the clerk apologized, running the pack. “Guess they’ll kill you just as well” This early-morning crew was really interested in repeat customers. “Scan your card.”

“Reckon the fuse is just longer,” Benedict winked, running a pazaak card through the reader.

“Want your receipt?”

“You keep it. Ta.” And with that, he took his One Sith and his Republic and headed for the door, beyond the cheap candy, where he’d pack his cigarettes to the purr and the glow of the vending machines.

And yet, no pulse on Aldera. He was hiding, his head down in his cubicle. Doing what he was told to get the kids to Uni; for the One Sith promise of a new, safe tomorrow. He lit his cigarette against the chill of the night, looking over the waning traffic, his trenchcoat flapping in the brisk wintry winds.

“It could always be worse,” Aldera whined, sucking in his grief, his emasculation, his personal lack of agency in regards to his own destiny.

Alexandra let out a soft breath as she heard the warning bells, her body laying down and staring at the sky from the barrack's roof. She looked over the side and at Vulpesen with a bottle, one filled with a light mandalorian wine she had diluted incase she needed to be active once more and not stumbling around. "Hey, Fox Face, get up here and wait with me for the Jedi to get down to the planet, assuming it is them i sense because otherwise this is going to be a -very- short invasion."

Vulpesen chuckled and looked back at her before crouching down and watching the battle field. His steps had brought him to the very edge as he heard what was going on and now, he prepared himself from the onslaught, happy to have spent a little more peaceful time with [member="Alexandra Cinthra"]. "I'm way ahead of you. Perhaps you should go down and get dressed into something a bit more suitable for battle. After all, its easier to watch your back when I know you can take the occasional blow."

Alexandra Feanor

"In a minute, almost done." She tilted the bottle back and downed what was left in it, smiling for a moment before standing up and stretching. "Much better, now lets see, my armor right?" She smiled and stepped back as she dropped off the roof of the barracks and fell softly to the ground, smiling to the passing soldiers as they stared at her for dropping from the sky and walking past them. She did so with a certain carelessness for what was happening on the outside, heading straight for where her armor was.

[member="Darth Tsolan"]

He chuckled then watched her as she leaped off the room, looking over the edge to watch the display. In truth, he loved it when she did things like that. Deciding to wait Darth Tsolan simply sat on the building's edge and waited. Either for an opponent, or for [member="Alexandra Cinthra"]. Though to be honest, he was preferring to see the later come up first.

Alexandra returned no more than a handful a moments later, the visor of her helmet pulled up as she was eating a ration bar and seemed to even forget for a moment there was a battle as she sat down. "So, where we heading off to fight at, im sure theres a Jedi Master somewhere on this planet that would be a fun thing to fight... you know, i heard of this one jedi, what was her name... [member="Saki"] i think. She sounds like she would be a threat, or perhaps we should attack the Jedi Grandmaster [member="Kiskla Grayson"], she would be a challenge."

"We captured the planet three weeks ago, but to my understanding remnants of the Republic's forces have taken up positions around and in the City of Aldera. Republic reinforcements have finally arrived in an offensive to retake the planet." The One Sith Officer said to Coric. "We have transferred the funds to the specified account." Coric glanced at the holo-projector. "Very well, then until this battle is over you can consider myself fighting for One Sith forces." He switched off the holo-projector and motioned for the droid take them in. It did not take long to land at the forward One Sith attack base. As Coric stepped of his star courier, he took note of the ruin that befallen the once beautiful planet. Many would have felt some kind of emotion stir within them at the site. Coric however was only surprised his lack of any feeling at the scene before him.

"There is a standing bounty for seven hundred thousand credits for every individual Jedi Master killed, and seven hundred and eighty five thousand for every one captured." His droid said to him over his com. "As well as other lower tier bounties, I suggest you take advantage of the situation." Coric glanced at the forest ahead of him, and the City of Aldera beyond. He quickly tagged along with one of the Sith patrols heading towards the city. It was time to make some money. "Keep me informed on standing credit amounts for Sith bounties, and get any intelligence on Republic positions you can from the One Sith, cross reference both for the most lucrative opportunities." Coric replied.

Vulpesen watched her, a brow raised as she munched away on the bar. "What, nothing for me?" He walked ove and wrapped an arm around her. "Actually, I think this time I'm feeling a bit symbolic with my encounters. I've picked up a few reports that two old friends might appear. I'm hoping to take them on. Of course, I'll keep myself a secret but considering one used to be my boss as a shadow, and another during my time as a member of the Army of Light, I think its time I see just how much the jedi underestimated my worth."

It was time at last for Phylis to enter the battle. This was not done eagerly, not because of fear, but because she was not a warrior. She had avoided going to all of the campaigns and battles of the war so far, but now she was here, stepping out onto the ruins of Aldera City.

She had no fancy magical items, no mystical Full Phrik Plate +3, just her Jedi robes, her green bladed lightsabre and the Force. She hoped it would be enough.

(Do not expect more than once a day posting. Tag me if you want to take me on.)

He let out a small smile at her initial words. "I'll keep my presence hidden as usual. And all I know is that they might appear. I don't know where but if they do show up, I'll sense them." He continued his gaze out the the battlefield, waiting for any signs. However her next words struck a small chord of truth n his mind. "If it goes that far, I want you to stop me. You know my motives but these are battles I must fight. Most likely I'll wound them, put them in a bacta tank for a while but otherwise, my main goal is humiliation. Not so much for them, but for the order. They need to know their mistakes. They need to know how much they've failed by picking those who's words ran like honey and not those who's blades struck like lightning. The words would go echoing within the depths of the Hydra Queen's mind, as one booted foot would come up to perch upon a ledge of Aldera city ruins. Vongsense would bloom within her mind, every Yuuzhan Vong and Vongshaped creature tickling her senses as it spread out beyond Aldera's limits.

Behind her several large thamasshes hung from light posts and ruined pillars, thickening the air, reducing visibility heavily within Aldera's city ruins. Ten Rakamat behind her would shuffle on their feet, while a pack of slow moving Grokata, hungering for food, lifted their sharp beaks and gave a squat howl.

Huge Fire Breathers, would be scattered about the city, while a pair of Warkeepers would work in conjunction with the Thrall Herders. Around the woman, a Hydrastaff would be wrapped around her waist, having been injected with the parasitic Bafforka Bore Worm. Two of it's heads would rest on the right shoulder while the other three on her left.

Her body would be covered seemingly Bafforka Bore Worm treated Vonduun Skerr Kyrric armor -- or was that possibly her own flesh? One would not be able to tell without a closer inspection.

The snakelike head tresses would twitch along her cheeks and shoulders. Eyes would narrow, burning ember coals upon the Republic's forces.

The Protectorate's invasion at Corusant was a failure along with many casualties, including the Lady protector of the Protectorate. They troops that survived the invasion were sent back to the borders of the Protectorate and deserved a long rest. But not all of them rested...

The Protectorate had received a distress signal from Republic forces that were still in Alderaan that was now occupied by the One Sith. Many of the Protectorate soldiers volunteered to aid their allies just to get back at the Sith and to end their expansion of corruption and tyranny. One of these soldiers was a Fett clone by the name of Canal that volunteered to aid the Republic to try to take back the planet. After rounding up the numbers the clone captain would be leading a battalion worth of 1,000 soldiers with different weapons, skills, etc. Right after the battalion was organized they had approximately 15 minutes to deploy. As quick as they could they packed all the supplies that they needed and once time ran out all of the soldiers were inside a Warden class heavy cruiser and then was launched in hyperspace once they were cleared and were flying through the stars.

Alderaan system

They had gone out of hyperspace and were orbiting the planet Alderaan. Canal had called an assembly at the hangar of the ship. They obeyed the called and were armed with many weapons that were produced from the Protectorate. Once the clone was on the deck they all gave him a salute and were standing at attention. "At ease," was the obvious thing that came from his mouth. "Now, we all know what happened at Corusant. Things didn't came at as planned. We lost many good troops out there and they shall be remembered. But, I guarantee all of you that those deaths won't be in vain. This a chance to get back at the Sith; this is a chance to avenge those on Corusant; this is a chance to help destroy the One Sith! And whatever happens we have to take back this planet, and we will take back this planet. Now, ready yourselves and let's become killaholics!" And war cries erupted from the hangar area. The soldiers then went to the drop ships that were in the hangar and once everyone was in them they exited out of the cruiser and flew towards the planet.

The clone captain took out a hologram and his blue figure would appear on every Republic personell's hologram. "Reinforcements are on their way," and would his figure would disappear as he turned off his hologram. And those reinforcements would definitely raise the morale of the Republic.

Balaya was moving slowly now, the healing from Feena Mason had fully restored her and some cosmetic surgery to cover the wounds given by Ellain and Sarge left her back with pale pink skin. Her Lady Praeliors Armor clinking while she secured the Bodo Baas Gunbelt holding on her thighs away from her hip holsters the Lazy Eye Edition Merr-Sonn 'Power' 5 and Holdout Hand Cannon The compartments filled with ammo for the weapons and caries breaker grenades while her hips held the CZ-835 Machine Pistol and BTI-WB "Woebringer" Heavy Blaster Pistol. She was armed to the teeth with small arms but the real prize was on her hip as the Dark'chyld saber saber now pulsing with the energy from the Pius Dia Pontite Crystal Here.

The rest of her gear was there, the Strap of Zana M6W-9 molecular stiletto knives that she had brought back out after fighting [member="Darth Tsolan"] on Empress Teta, The Force obscuring bracelet hidden under her gauntlet while the wrist datapad was linked into the AT-HKD1 Hunter Killer Suicide Drone with a AT-1 Wrist Slugthrower setup. She cracked a smile fixing her mane of hair into a thick ponytail and securing it under the Warden Cloak with Darron Wraith's hair clips and plenty of grav tape for support. Her duel lightwhips wrapped up on her belt and an electro whip for slave, she spared a thought about her apprentices and hoped they were preforming well while the sentient saber was speaking.

"Come on we have people to kill and ones to rip apart." That amused her more and Balaya stepped forward letting the hissing of the Hydrastaff slithering around her arm and wrapping there to rest and enjoy itself much like she was. Then there was Elara who was standing at her masters side far to young to go at the enemies yet but she did serve a purpose holding a Tir Stunner for her own protection. "Are we going after the jedi master?" Balaya walked forward and stood tall grabbing at the lighter prize, crafted by Akure and she could feel the darkside pulsing off of it as she pulled the AEL/Mohc Extractives 'Dauntless' Combat Blade modified to her size as a bastard sword and searing with flames.

As she moved forward Balaya let the taozin flesh hide her in the force and raised the cortosis lined cloak over her head to hide her rifle an CZ-839 Sonic Carbine. Even her figure was hidden beneath the bulky cloak while she walked forward towards the jedi laughing to herself and motioning with her hand for Glitter to start laying into the beasts and everything around them. The massive akure leviathan feeling the darkside from the Unseelie. The popped Seelie having made mud all around and the sith master began chanting to herself. She wanted to ready a spell to throw at the jedi when one approached her with a laugh luring them into the corrupted darkside waters while the force nexuses from her sithspawn empowered negative emotions.
