A gripped hand, a strangled life, a thing kept in the bottle with no holes to breath. Anger, hatred, passion, these things kept locked away, deep beneath. Things moved, things shifted, the trip down the steps, the door left open. A thing once imprisoned becomes a thing escaped, a thing chased. A lesson from a father, one who cared for nothing but himself and the experiments and the cutting and the killing. Flesh pulled from skin and put back to see if it reattached, a world turned upside down in search for answers. Lock the door, bolt it too, make sure the hinges don't move. The thing shakes, each hit a fracture of the heart, a calamity of the mind turns to a sickness of the soul. Anger guarded and turned to mental illness, eating away at the goodness that lied beneath. Food for the prisoner, what it gained substance from depleted others. We must get at the root of it, a removed father once said, we must discern where it goes when you don't show it.

Virulent things come and they go, prognosis declared from amoeba to prion, a cause that causes consequence, unbroken causality. But what happens to the mind, when it breaks, he retorted to a child chained and a child broken. Does someone get better from their sickness, a temporary infliction of damage transferred to the thing that could take it but couldn't take it all. Screams of a soul clinging to a thing it shouldn't, beings attached in unholy union, crossing-over between the two to show a decimation of differences once apparent. A child that would become two and grow into one, a struggle propelled by a father who poked and prodded when he should have loved. But where love should have lingered nothing but a train of curiosity pushed forward, running over all that would lie across the tracks. A pound of flesh felt more like a ton, a world of brightness and snow saw it melt from the rushing current of blood, flowing freely from the shattered and the dead, left living. All covered, all hidden, hidden away in that bottle with no holes.

But what of the mother? Long gone. Removed from the equation by purpose and mission and dedication. Or maybe it was that she didn't care. Maybe it was that the Jedi Code told her that she shouldn't have passion. Well passion comes from care, care leads to nurturing, nurturing to love. And this one found none of it, from neither the side that could have done something nor the side that did too much. The ghosts of the past tormented the mind, like traumatic scars carved across the brain and allowed to heal, just enough, before being open again. But he was better now, he was a broken thing rebuilt. Ascended from the desecration of the most holy of things: a thing birthed from yourself. And in the eyes of the child, parents are God. But what happens when your God doesn't love you, doesn't feel for you, doesn't care? Gabriel is what happens, a boy grown into a man who has lost everything, the demise of those around him either by chance or his own hands. Relationships left in the water to rot, universes broken because he was broken too, why couldn't they feel the same? Why couldn't they fix themselves, just like he did? In the End, he would fix everything and make it all better.

Gravity came back to him, as did recognition of the small time that passed, the station not blown to bits. He felt it, the sudden weight of his body and armor and his bones. Like a sack of potatoes on springs, his knees bent in the sudden realization and he sighed. It was an odd thing, to find gravity but still no air. Not air in the general sense, deprived of oxygen but left abundant in other compounds. Nitrogen, carbon, they all read across his visor scanner as he anticipated the moments when he could free himself from the clutches of the space suit. Spikes in the graphs, the reds and yellows and greens that fluctuated across his vision, panned away as he willed it. But then he felt it, that sense of ubiquitous oddness, the standing of hairs on end against the forearms and neck. That feeling of being watched.

Visored-head lifted towards the ceiling, towards the bulkhead, towards the wall. Mind reached out with the trails of Shatterpoint, wires strummed across the universe but only a few carried the truth of the vibrations, the true music and sound hidden in the haze of silence. The universe blind and deaf, oblivious to their own connectedness. Each was a weakness to another, a fulcrum from which others pivoted and leaned. Everything was linked and he could see it, the image of a woman in the shadow. A vision of a woman clashing against his power in the form of waves and rifts. Each strike was a flicker of light in the dark room, silence turned to motion, the potential becoming more and more a reality. The passage of time, the shift in it's perspective, all lead to the end. A knot in the lines, tied together, as all paths would converge towards one outcome. He struggled to ascertain it, to understand where his future laid. But this wasn't how it worked, not in the least. Only could possible weaknesses be divined, the center of the web that held it altogether perceived on a whim, right as it should be. But only time, only the passing of it, and the nearing of his potential, would allow him true clarity and divination. Nevertheless, he would step in front of it, and attempt to break the convergence. And he was stepping out blindly, not even sure of the presence and whether she was even there. Time had no measurement in Shatterpoint, minutes and hours but blips on the radar. He accepted the potential for this to be but a shot in the dark.

"I know you're there..." He spoke out into the emptiness around him, collecting the powers of the force for use in the very near future. Anger manifested in a bottle within him, the passions of the Sith were a controlled spectacle to this practitioner. Not something so freely used and felt, as his compatriots would often speak. "I...can smell you." He couldn't really smell her, not in the typical sense of the word. But sometimes, when words come to you, you just have to say 'em.

"Look tell your master, that Mr. Ash, that we can talk this out if he lets me go now i will retreat and then i'll pay him a portion of my reward for helping with this mission. If I dont pay up send a bounty hunter to kill me. How about huh? 25,000 credits all yours. you would like that wouldnt you?" Keanu was getting sick of the waiting and wanted out. This battle had been more than he had expected, not even his specialty at all with no contracts for fighters. Something had to be done.

Objective: Capture the flag

Ice pulled up his data pad after nestling back into his dark spot and began typing a couple commands. His attention was captured though by the form of a man rocketing away from where he had thrown the grenade. Ice's eyes widened. "Was that Mando armor?" He though to himself. What was with the constant surprises when it came to fighting these people. Facilities that were vastly more than ever stated, people appearing in a fight he didn't ever expect would be here. At least not this far away from mando territory. Before he kept fighting, he was going to need some answers.

Meanwhile, back in the alleyway/courtyardish type area. Most of what was left of the building after the thermal had gone off collapsed into a heap. A dog bounded away from the wreckage whimpering as it frantically dashed away from the rubble. The dog ran right past Flora seemingly taking no interest in her and only wanting to escape the battleground. It's path was blocked by more rubble though, and it was forced to stop while still trying to find a path deeper into the city. It soon stopped even that, only now actually noticing her, and stared back her with terrified eyes, and continued whimpering.

Ice was now back on the move. Slowly he moved up the path the Nei had taken so that his movements would hopefully remain unnoticed. After all there was still some structures standing. He had to try and find her. Hopefully she hadn't been taken out. This objective was beginning to look like a death trap. To many places snipers could hide. Not enough cover. Then there was the idea of that mando he had been fighting. He huphed, no wonder he didn't die so easily, Ice thought happily to himself.

Still, he was not in the business of killing Mandos, perhaps the caves would be a better place to head. More of a straight up fight anyway to all this sneakin' around. He just needed to find his people, then he could move...

Mordecai could feel it in the Force - the death and destruction that reigned before him. Objective two was entirely out of the question and the addition of himself and his Yuuzhan Vong forces would only serve to increase the clusterfeck that was called war. He liked cold, clean, and precise movements in battle. So, he decided to take a detour and head somewhere else, somewhere more promising. If any foe or foes should come across him, respect was due. Not many chose to confront him head on and his presence, along with his legions, would surely cause quite the stir.

"Let's head to the mines," the Sith Lord turned and started for them, passing through the shield, "Entertainment is such terrible quality here. I don't even see why we want it."

A warrior officer near him sniggered maliciously. "I hunger for battle."

"As do I."

Theme: Hunger of the Pine

As the bridge door slid aside, there was no one inside, except for that of a lone FLXT-99. "And I thought they would give me a damn challenge," Julian Solo remarked, he dropped the grenade launcher, rather than falling, it simply began to float away from his grasp. He reached for his holstered DXR-2 disruptor pistol, and keeping himself behind cover, he shot off a beam of energy that vaporised the droid, slowly destroying it on the molecular level until here was nothing but ash. "You would think they would place a few shields on something that sizee," Solo murmured to himself when he was done, approaching the pile that remained, which likewise floated through the air like a small dark, grey cloud. If it had shields, his disruptor would have had a harder time vaporising it, alas, the job was done and the bridge was empty. He entered inside, finding it unfortunately disappointing. "No a single sign of the rats that sent you, hey buddy?" he said, looking to the odd small cloud, then he shook his head. It seemed the station was won, as far as he knew, no one had stopped him, except for sending a few droids, and from all reports on the other sector, no one was stopping them either, apart from sending their own droids too.

He retreated back into the bowels of the station, and the distant booms he had heard earlier vanished, but from what the bridge told him, the place was suffering critical damage throughout the entire structure, depressurising all the rooms had also resulted in destabilising the place. He turned left, no, three steps back and went right. He was sure he had passed down here earlier, he thought, with his grenade launcher sitting comfortably once more in his hands, with a few more rounds on his belt after he managed to scavenge some ammunition from a few other droids he had killed on the way. Perhaps kill was not the right word for something that wasn't living in the right place. Aggressive termination? No, he thought, perhaps just a simple shutdown. Escape pods, utilised to evacuate personnel in events like these, lined the corridor, but the personnel had been evacuated before they even arrived, and obviously using escape pods unnecessarily was a waste of money. They were for emergencies, and so most of them were there. He thumbed a button after clambering in on board, it detached from the station, thrusters ignited and he propelled towards the planet. He tapped into the CryptNet, signalling all on the restricted, encrypted channel, "The station is down - as down as it can get without blowing ourselves up. I'm moving on the mines."

He craned his neck out the viewport briefly to admire the sight, and with sudden sharp stab of anxiety, he realised he needed to get under the planet - not on it. He quickly scrambled for the cockpit, as the pod broke cloud cover, Solo jumped onto the steering and quickly veered the shuttle for one of the various drilled holes in the planet. He only hoped he didn't land on a Raven. Torrential downpour slammed against his meagre viewport, making it hard for him to see, and suddenly he found himself shooting through the hole in the ground, cascading falls encompassing him on all sides as his pod was in the midst of it. He sat back, strapping himself in, and just as he buckled himself with a click, the shuttle slammed against the ground with the power of a titan slamming his fist. Enough so that when he struck the ground, it caved in and the shuttle collapsed into one of the underground-underground mine tunnels. An explosive cloud of dust formed around the shuttle, and a shaken Julian Solo crawled himself out of the rear hatch escape. When his vision came too, he realised that a Mandalorian was ahead of him, unknown to him, it was [member="Vilaz Munin"], and across from him, [member="Barik Rahl"]. Clutching tightly, he didn't bother to get on his feet, from his kneeled position he sighted the wall beside Vilaz, and slapped the trigger, launching a grenade out from the barrel in an attempt to blow the tunnel around and above Vilaz - and depending on the proximity - possibility a severe case of blunt-force trauma or shrapnel to the redneck Mandalorian.

A nod to fate itself. One of the soldiers nodded in return. ON Rayl's orders the blast door was opened to the void filled corridor. He was grateful he was wearing a suit under his clothing to protect from such a cruel environment. The atmosphere they happily resided in turned to a storm as the low pressure pulled it away. Some couldn't keep a grip and were sucked forward to the wall across. The breach though was a fair distance away. They wouldn't lose a man that way. "Alright, lets move team"! Static clipped and chirped as the open channel stayed so for a moment.

Rayl and troop piled through the doorway. The firefight between the security droids raged down the way. All the information Ash provided him indicated this was the main assault group. No air, no gravity, disintegration, and close combat. This fight was going to be grizzly. A battle droid exploded at the cross section, scattering debris towards them. They couldn't even duck, bearing its hail fire. Some mens comms burst to life with pains and curses. Who actually lost their suit pressure were silenced and lost. They made it to the adjoining hallway. Rayl took up point, peeking over the corner. They were there all right. A wave motioned the attack. One by one the soldiers jumped off the wall and pushed out into the fray to find cover, and kill their foes. "Avenge all whom they slaughtered today. For the Suns"! The Crime Lord leaned out with two guns ahead, unleashing hell with his comrades towards Lysle and his men.

Well, it could have been worse. She could have been dead.

When the explosion had gone off, Nei had been pushed off of her feet and sent tumbling through the air before doing a crash-roll on the ground. As she had turned her head at the last minute Nei's tresses weren't too singed -- her armour, however, was now very dirty.

Of course, half the building she had been next to collapsed on her and punched her leg. Her armour managed to resist most of the pressure, but the Nautolan's leg was still pretty bad, either fractured or downright broken. Nei also couldn't move much because, though she remained in a pocket, any sudden shift of her leg caused the rubble to destabilize, and she doubted that her armour could handle that.

Turning on her comlink to the secure channel, she grunted, "Any Ravens free? I be a bit...pinned down." Despite her best efforts, evidence of the pain she was in leaked through her voice. "Don't wanna die, you know."

Two blurry distorted figures silently appeared next to [member="Nei Laa"] seemingly out of nowhere. It was only now that they were within a few feet could she hear their foot steps, for she had entered in through the distortion field of Ice's SSD. Throwing his rifle over his shoulder, he called to Paydon. "Cover me, I'll get her out."

Moving next to Nei, he pulled his cloaked helmet up just a bit so she could see it was him. "Now Nei, this is no time to going dropping a building on to yourself. We got work to do." He joked, trying to lighten the mood as he quickly pulled rubble off her body. "Do you think you can still walk? We were about to head over to the caves and let the vong handle the urban warefare." Although in a somewhat vulnerable position, they still had some cover. And at least all the activity was completely silent while he had his tech running.

He said he could Smell her, How went through her mind. She had a bath, oh force it that stupid deodorant she brought, he must be able to smell that. She grimace, as there was no point expend energy trying to hide herself in the force, if he could smell her. She made her move from behind him, as she came out the force. As she dropped her cloak, she went to hit him with a direct lunge, aimed for between his shoulder blades. Her blade was still the violet one she always had, she kept her other hand free to manipulate the force if she saw opportunity to use it. As she came out she felt his sheer strength of will, he was one the sith she had left behind. She had to leave the order it became corrupt, it took zeltros for her to realize. She was going extract her revenge on them, for corrupting pure beauty the original order. The good times before they vong formed alderaan, and massacred civilians for no reason.

Nei had had her eyes closed, trying to ignore the pain, when Ice and Paydon had walked up. Nostrils flared, she only offered a grunt in response to Ice's jest.

As the other Raven removed the rubble pinning her down, the pressure on her leg disappeared and the pain lessened enough to become bearable.

Moving into a sitting position, the Nautolan gingerly slid her leg out, slowly bending it until slivers of pain shot up her thigh. "Not too bad," she grunted. "Can bend almost completely." Reaching out, she grabbed Ice and used him as leverage to pull herself up. As Nei placed her weight on her leg though, her lips pulled back in a grimace and several explicit Ryl curses left her mouth.

"Can walk, just gotta be...slower. Can still shoot though." As if to emphasize this, the Nautolan patted her holstered pistol. "Make Black Sun pay."

Airal had been watching the girl waiting for her help to arrive, when she found that help there. Shots rang out, to both sides of where the girl had just been. She aimed to where a body would be, not the head, she wanted to sink it into mass, and ensure a hit. Since she was ultimately firing blind she wanted to aim low. Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Her clip was empty but slugs were flying to both sides of [member="Nei Laa"] and one even towards her, to ensure that someone got hit. She smirked as she ducked under her cover and reloaded. She popped back up only to watch her scope to see if she hit anything.

To turn your back to someone was a sign of disrespect. To attack a persons back from the shadows, well that was a sign of cowardice. Gabriel had reached out into the tethers of the universe, decidedly unsure of how the meeting would begin. He hoped for something more, but expected this portrayal of lesser character. And it would have worked, lest for the vibrations that a lightsaber make while burning hot, along with his anticipation of the attack. To a Sith that was looking, it was but the albatross for it's wielder. And what better way to meet the heat and noise of a lightsaber than with supplemental energy, from the propulsion of his fuel cells. White-knuckled and clenched, the ignition blasted and sent the Sith Lord just out of lunging reach and continued his movement. Armor boots, now burdened with weight from gravity, scraped against metal, sending sparks in the mans wake. While moving, and before cessation of his movement, he powered the left thruster over the other, turning his body, as he became a victim to the decay of friction. As the cloud of particulates would slowly move apart, vision of his person would be clear to the Sith who should have been blinded by the exothermic release of energy, if not made slightly uncomfortable by the heat of such propulsion.

His fingers extended outward, arms held limp at the sides for now, as he instantly recognized the individual before him. One doesn't leave the One Sith without every Sith Lord being informed of the disposition. And it was a public one at that, her and Darth Veles and their anger for the mistreatment of the weak and worthless. He couldn't help but growl at her endeavors, angered by such attempts by one who would claim moral high ground. Apparently that didn't extend to her fighting habits.

Taking in the image of her armor, he made mental note, should she hide from view once more. Two could play at that game, but he was more than prepared to slay her violet saber with his, blood-soaked and thirsty for the flesh of a coward.

"One would think better of you...Darth Banshee..." The rancor tooth flung into his hand, his posture one of a shadow-boxer, in anticipation for the fight. "We haven't even begun and you have already disappointed me. Is this truly the depth of your powers?" The blood leaped from the root cavity of the tooth, striking the air with a crimson swath in but an instant, a trait of the rare red diamond hidden within. The force gathered to him, a pack of hungry wolves nipping at the master, begging for the rewards for their sudden undertaking. The Sith Lord's anger grew immensely, the very sight of the craven opportunist bringing to mind thoughts of a man putting a rabid dog down. It would be for the best.

Cryax heard the Nautolan's frantic call over the Ravens' secured commlinks. He realized with a gulp of air, that there was nothing he could do. Unfortunately he and Anastasia were just as pinned down as she. Then another message came over the CryptNet. A change of plans.

He ignored the man in the building with them who seemed to be lost in his own little world, and smiled at Anastasia through his re-breather. "The vong is here to takeover this part of the operation. We're gonna move to the mines." He squatted down and cautiously made his way to a window, peering out into the street. Explosions and sniper fire continued to rain down around their position. Kark. This was going to be tricky. "I think I see an alley way. There." He pointed with a blue-skinned hand. "If we can just get to there without getting shot, we may have a shot at making a run for it." He double-checked the coordinates on his Datapad for good measure. It was worth a try.

His glowing red eyes searched Anastasia's as he took her hand in his. "Are you ready?"

They exited the building and made a beeline for the alleyway. In a split second Cryax thought he saw the blurred figures of Nei, Ice and Paydon, also heading in the same direction, and it flooded his nervous system with hopeful adrenaline. There was no telling where Keira was but wherever it was, he hoped that she was safe.

He managed to turn on a thruster, before her lunge had chance to make it's mark. The sudden impact the blast blinded her temporarily, but she knew how to combat this. She closed her eyes, and began to see anew using the force. She was taught by miraluka how to use force to see, [member="Dux Pontus"] never did approve of that. He wished [member="Darth Naomi"] used cybernetic implants. Though lesson would serve her well know, as he may think her blind, when she can see perfectly fine.

His image in the force was deep red in colour, a powerful he had. He remark how she had disappointed him, she chuckled to herself. After all it was the sith who taught her to fight this way, and it served them well. As any and day, honour be damned, all that mattered was survival that was the way sith code after all. She was more sith than he was, she knew and understood every aspect of the code. She also understood why the one sith would never win in the end, a lesson the sith keep on forgetting. The code was universal, it applied to them as much as their enemies. They had brought hate on the order, and by doing so doomed themselves. It was know only a matter of time, before the republic and galaxy prove the code right. As peace is a lie, their only passion. That passion they have ignited, after alderaan and zeltros would spur on the hate for the sith. Through hate, the enemy will gain strength, that strength will lead them to gain power. Then the galaxy chains will be broken and they would be done with the sith again.

She said in almost polite tone to lord Oh I have not even begun. She pushed away the tooth that was thrown at her, and leapt forth at him, her lightsaber aiming at him again. She planned to keep him on the defensive, as victory only goes to those who dare.

Betna heard incoming fire pepper the building as he spent his time lining up another shot. It seemed like someone had been paying more or less decent attention to where the shot had come from.

He had racked the bolt and knew the next round was one of his AC-RCO bullets. Designed initially for hunting, he'd found they were fairly decent for warfare, too. Anything that was wounded by the anticoagulant bullets would find themselves bleeding profusely with no real way to stop the blood flow.

Betna had followed the flow of the fighting and more or less had an idea on who was where in a general sense. It was getting too hairy for his eyes alone to track the whole thing, so he left his HUD systems to take up the slack. Here and there he could see movement from his sensors, but for the most part, no clear shots yet.

He flipped to thermal and then to infrared for a moment, before immediately flipping back to thermal. There, by the window of one of the buildings. A flicker of heat through one of the windows. He panned the rifle around the area and kept a watchful eye. Where there was heat, especially in these situations, there was someone moving. It didn't take long for someone to prove him right.

A bunch of figures seemed to burst from the building he'd seen the thermal image from. One wore a trenchcoat, telling him the officer he'd somehow missed was still alive. He didn't much care for where they were going and, honestly, he could easily catch up to them eventually if needed. For now, it was the shot.

For most, it was the snapshot that was needed. For Betna, it was hardly such. Fast moving targets were always hard to hit, but if you had the rifle in the right area, you could do it. He knew he wouldn't get a headshot, not with this kind of shot, but maybe he might get something else.

He dropped the crosshairs lower and compensated for the target's speed. From there, it was the range and temperature. He synched his breathing and heart rate together and, when the natural lull emerged, pulled the trigger.

Crack

The bullet shot downrange, aimed for the Chiss' lower body and legs. Betna didn't want a kill shot, he wanted a crippling shot. A bleeding target left a trail and a wounded man slowed the rest down. He was done with clean kills. Now was time to play dirty.

Tahl left the tramway to join Cryax for the assault in the chaos. Him and R4 rolled out, Tahl returning fire to the rooftops as he made his way over to cover. R4 reached Cryax before Tahl did, but unfortunately for him, the Droid was too early. The sniper shot aimed at Cryax came down and took off the droid's ankle join~ letting out an electronic scream as he went down, the foot flying off into the streets as the droid wiggled and spun his head in disorientation.

"R4!" Tahl yelled, reaching over to Cryax and Anastasia's spot and pulling the droid into cover, who seemed okay apart from his loss of mobility "Great, now I gotta lug you over to the main terminal now!"

Popo let his men open up on the machines and had his boys set up a perimeter in the meantime. The Tenloss Security troops were highly trained and well motivated, moving quickly and with purpose. They fired on figures they could see with a variety of weapons, the most lethal of which were the disruptors they carried. Others sported the Tenloss ripper SMGs and a few carried cheaper, slugthrower SMGs. All wore heavy armor, all knew their jobs, all were trained to do them.

The massive Hutt leant them fire support with his own weapons. Popo's shoulder mounted E-Web blaster barked and spewed bolts of energy at targets of opportunity while his wrist blasters added their own fire to his men's barrage. Whoever dared to brave the wall of death the Tenloss soldiers had put up was either a fool or a madman. The enemy had to go through Popo and his men to get to the main sections of the mines and the Hutt and his men knew it.

From behind them, further in the mine shafts, there could be heard a horrid noise. It sounded as if hell had risen from the bowels of the rock and dirt to raise a horrible metallic shriek.

Instead of terror or fear, the men fought harder.

Eldoc chuckled and pulled out another alchemical sword, belting his saber. " Think your hot stuff don't you? ' He said fighting back each and every strike. "Come up with that one by your self?" Eldoc parried each move with a practiced hand, he was not new to dueling, plus he had fought this man before. After discovering they were getting no where he decided he needed to do something. Eldoc let out a Force Bellow, surely propelling them man down the corridor. He wanted to enjoy this fight.

Somehow, Keira had managed to avoid attracting the attention of any of the snipers she knew littered the rooftops, and it was a fact she was thankful for. After throwing the bullet meant for [member="Cryax Bane"]'s head off of its trajectory she wasn't sure that it would be a task she would be able to accomplish again. Her repertoire of Force tricks was limited, and overexerting herself never led to good things in any sense of the word. So it was enough that she'd remained unscathed, at least for the time being.

Her lightsaber was still in hand, though unignited, to avoid drawing attention to herself. If there was one thing she was grateful for, it was the fact that her small size and relatively nondescript demeanor afforded her the ability to move about in battle scenarios such as this without drawing overdue attention to herself. And something told her she would need her capabilities to remain undetected if she was to survive the next possible hours of this fight against the Black Suns. What had begun as a routine mission was quickly turning to chaos in every sense, and the numerous emotions she was able to detect through the Force only made things more hectic for her.

As she saw Cryax and his group make a run for a nearby alleyway a sigh of relief passed her lips, and the rogue Jedi darted out from her cover to meet them, reaching the area a split second after [member="Tahl Edrel"] and his R4 unit did, tracking the sniper shot that had disabled the droid back to its owner with her eyes, muttering a colorful string of expletives in Old Corellian. It was the same building that the earlier shot for Cryax had come from. They were anything if not persistent, but so was she. "Hey, long time, no see, guys," her voice was almost breathless, "Someone has to take out at least one of those snipers, one way or another." Hazel green eyes studied the group. "Unless there was another plan I missed." And that was all the more likely.

The droid's agonizing screeches were painful for Cryax to hear. Tahl's little R4 droid was his buddy ever since he had helped save the Chiss slicer's life on Kessel and they were commonly seen playing dejarik in his office back on Antecedent. Every now and then Cryax beat him, but mostly the droid just kicked his ass. He was horrified that the R4 took a bullet for him, and he hoped he could make it up to the little guy if they all got out of this alive.

Now that he, Ana, and Tahl along with his wobbly droid were in the alley, there was plenty of cover from sniper fire. "Can he make it to the mines?" Cryax asked Tahl. You'll both be safer there if we all stick together."

Suddenly Keira joined them and Cryax grinned at her through his re-breather. "New plan Keira. It's a sniper party around the headquarters and they don't like crashers. We're going to haul jets to the mines."
